"Dad! We're here!" Jake called into the small, red house, holding the door open so his family could enter ahead of him. Erin set Aspen down so she could hurry into the house after Nick, and then Erin took one of the plastic bags from Jake's hand, kissing him on the lips as she passed him.

"Grandpa!" Nick and Aspen screamed, leaping on Billy's lap as soon as he wheeled himself into the living room from the hallway his bedroom was in.

Erin and Jake laughed, carrying their bags into the kitchen to set on the counter. They started taking the Chinese takeout boxes from the bags as Billy wheeled into the kitchen, Nick and Aspen both on his lap.

"Paul, Rach, and Will should be here any minute." Billy told them.

"Great. We should have enough here for everyone."

"If Paul doesn't eat everything." Jake muttered.

Erin backhanded him. Jake knew very well Paul's appetite, like most of the pack's, had gone down since he was slowing down on his phasing so he could quit.

When Billy wheeled back out of the room with the kids, Erin peaked around Jake to make sure the coast was clear. Then, she took out a takeout box and peaked inside.

"It's the top one, right?" Jake whispered.

"Yep." Erin grinned, closing the box and placing it in the cupboard above her head.

Paul and Rachel arrived a few minutes later with Will, who was a few months short of being 2 years.

Erin cooed over the toddler for a few minutes before everyone grabbed a plate. They all ate in the living room with the TV on low. Nick and Aspen got to sit at a small kids' table behind the couch. Paul sat on the armchair with Will, Billy sat in his wheelchair next to the couch, and Jake, Erin, and Rachel sat on the couch.

When everyone's plates were cleared of food, Erin stood up and grabbed some of the plates. "Anyone want a fortune cookie? We got a whole box of 'em."

A few people voice their agreement, so Erin carried some of the plates into the kitchen and placed them in the sink. Opening the cupboard above her head, she pulled down the small takeout box and carried it into the living room.

She made sure to give the one on the very top to Billy, then gave one each to everyone else before taking her own and sitting down. Jake wrapped his arm around her shoulders, and neither one went to open their fortune cookies. Their eyes were fixed firmly on Billy as he opened his fortune cookie.

He snapped it in half and pulled out the small slip of paper inside. He read it over for a moment, and blinked as he stared at it. Erin quickly looked away and started opening her own cookie and keeping a straight face.

Billy looked up and looked between Rachel and Erin. Neither were looking at him, both seemingly too occupied with reading their fortunes.

"Alright, which one of you is it?" he finally asked, leaning his arms on his knees.

"What are you talking about, Dad?" Rachel asked in confusion.

But Billy's eyes were fixed on Erin, who was blushing just slightly and smiling knowingly.

"What'd your fortune say, Dad?" Jake asked with a smirk.

Billy smiled widely and read his fortune out loud.

"'By this time next summer, there will be one more person in the world calling you grandpa.'" He read before looking between Jake and Erin.

Rachel's mouth fell open as her head whipped around to stare at Erin.

"You're pregnant?!" she squealed.

Erin and Jake laughed and nodded in answer.

"Congrats, dude." Paul reached over and gave Jake a high-five. Billy wheeled just a bit closer and opened his arms so Erin could give him a hug.

"Congratulations to the both of you. We're so excited for you." he whispered to his daughter-in-law.

"Thanks, Dad." Jake smiled gratefully.

"Rach, what are you doing?" Paul asked, looking around everyone to see Rachel, who was texting frantically on her phone.

"Texting Emily, duh!" she said as if this was obvious. "We made a bet on when Jake and Erin would have their next baby, and I just won."

"You made a bet on us?" Jake asked incredulously, still smiling.

"Of course!" Rachel exclaimed, "I bet you'd get her knocked up again within four months of her graduating, and Emily thought it'd be closer to Christmas. It hasn't even been three months yet, so, ha, I win."

"Jacob Ephraim Black!"

Jake paused in the middle of toeing off his shoes at the front door. The sound of his wife's angry voice striking terror straight to his core.

"Uh oh." he muttered, briefly considering turning around and leaving again.

Before he could take any action, however, Erin marched around the corner toward his spot near the front door of their home. Since it was a Saturday, she was just wearing leggings and one of his old sweatshirts, a look he personally preferred, to be honest. But before he could appreciate the view, she was on him.

"I just had to do extra laundry because our bed sheets had oil on them. You wanna guess how that happened?" she seethed.

"Um, well, I," Jake stuttered, "I came home from work late, and you and the kids were already in bed, and I was going to take a shower, but you just wanted me to get in bed. You said you wanted to cuddle and sleep."

"Oh, don't you pin this on me." she exclaimed. "There was oil all over the bed. How did you manage to get it on the middle of your back?!"

"I tend to work without a shirt on. It gets hot in the shop." Jake defended. "I told you last night I was covered in the stuff, but you just kept insisting I do it in the morning."

Erin glared up at him for several moments before her expression broke and she was suddenly sobbing. Jake flinched in shock before hesitantly stepping forward and engulfing her in a gentle hug.

"Shh, sweetie, it's fine." he whispered, kissing the top of her head and running a hand down her head and back.

"I'm…sor-ry." she sobbed into his chest, her hands around his back and holding him close. "I don't know what's wrong with me!"

"You're pregnant, babe. Sometimes you'll get mood swings. It's not that bad." Jake soothed her. This was actually his first experience with her having a really bad mood swing. She hadn't had any big ones when she was pregnant with Aspen, and this was the first big one she'd had being pregnant this time. He'll admit, it was terrifying.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you." she sniffled, calming down slightly. "It was my fault, you're right. I was just so tired last night after work and helping Emily with stuff and taking care of Aspen and Nick, and I just wanted to cuddle with you in bed. I shouldn't have gotten angry at you."

"It's no one's fault, sweetie." Jake assured her. "It's okay. Just calm down."

Erin took a deep breath and was silent for several moments. Then, suddenly…she laughed.

Jake paused and looked down at her in confusion. "Um,…are you laughing?"

Erin laughed even louder, nodding her head as she stepped back. She still had a couple tears on her cheeks and in her lashes, her cheeks were red, but her smile was wide and her blue-gray eyes were glistening with humor.

"You should've seen your face." she laughed, looking up at him. "You looked so terrified when I walked around the corner. It was…so…cute!" she laughed, almost doubling over.

Jake stared down at her, almost as scared now as he was before.

Mood swings were weird.

Erin stared ahead at the far wall of their bedroom. The room was dark, not even any stars or a moon to shine light through the window. She had a light sheet draped over her, but that wasn't what was keeping her up. Her back was pressed against a solid chest and stomach. Through her thin t-shirt, she could feel every bump of her husband's abs pressed against her back. His strong arm was also draped over her side and chest, his fingers occasionally brushing her six month baby bump in an unconscious assurance that his pup was safe. And every breath he took brushed hotly against the back of her neck, making her skin erupt in goose bumps.

Any other night, this would be a comfort. Warm and safe with her husband curled around her. But not tonight. No, tonight, it felt like torture.

It had started that morning, when Jake got back from a run. Since he didn't phase that often, he actually needed to work a little bit to maintain his impressive physique. So, he returned from his run around seven that morning, his russet skin glistening with a light sheen of sweat. Erin had just woken up and walked out of the bathroom from using the toilet. When she laid eyes on him, she could've sworn she swallowed her own tongue. How had she been lucky enough to marry a man with that body?

Then, Jake had taken a quick shower while Erin started making breakfast for everyone. She'd caught a glimpse of him leaving the bathroom after. A towel hung low on his hips, drops of water sliding down his hard abs and that prominent 'V' that hinted at what was under the towel,…Needless to say, that image had been burned into Erin's mind all day while she was working at the school.

Even later on in the evening after dinner. Erin had peaked into the backyard to see Jake playing with 10 year old Nick and 4 year old Aspen. Seeing him pretend to let Nick tackle him, or seeing him lift Aspen in the air and spin her around…It was a good thing Erin was already pregnant, because it drove her ovaries crazy.

All of these events had built up to now, Erin lying awake in bed with her husband, unable to fall asleep because her hormones were driving her insane. She'd been horny before, she'd also had an increased sex drive due to her pregnancy before, but never had it been this bad.

Erin grimaced, feeling overheated in both a good way, and an uncomfortable way. Very carefully, she scooted forward to try and get out from under Jake's arm, which constricted a bit to prevent her from moving. Erin gently took his wrist and moved it off her so she could get out from under it. She gently laid his arm on the bed behind her and scooted to the edge of the bed, the sheets cool on her heated skin.

The bed creaked and shifted behind her and suddenly a familiar, big hand rested on her hip. His calluses rubbed against her skin under the t-shirt she wore for pajamas.

"Erin?" Jake mumbled, his voice muffled and sleepy.

Erin closed her eyes and sighed. When she didn't respond, Jake scooted closer to her and wrapped his arm around her belly, under her bump, and gently pulled her into his chest. He nuzzled into her dirty blonde hair, his lips finding the skin of the back of her neck.

"Can't sleep?" he mumbled.

Erin bit her lip, trying not to think about how good it felt for him to be pressed up against her. Instead, she hummed vaguely. It was silent for a moment before Jake gently rolled her over onto her back and pushed himself up onto his elbow so he was looking down at her. His dark eyes scanned her face, looking much more awake than he'd been a second ago.

"That response wasn't exactly comforting." he told her quietly. "What's wrong? Are you in pain? Is it the baby? Do you need the bathroom?"

Erin sighed, closing her eyes and plopping her head back on her pillow. "Jake, I'm fine. I'm just…having trouble sleeping."

"Are you uncomfortable?"

'Yes, but not in any way you're thinking,' she thought. "No, I'm fine."

"Erin," Jake sighed, "talk to me. What's wrong?"

Erin groaned, throwing her arm over her face. "Just drop it and go to sleep." she mumbled. She knew if she kept her eyes uncovered, she'd risk looking up at him, and then looking him over. Which would be a very tempting sight, seeing as he slept shirtless.

"Do I need to try and sniff the problem out?" Jake asked, almost threateningly.

"No." Erin's arm flew down and she spoke before she could stop herself.

Jake was already sniffing the air quietly. Then, he paused, his eyes closed, and drew in a deep breath through his nose. Erin looked anxiously up at him, her bottom lip between her teeth as she waited. His eyes popped open and he stared down into her eyes, his own almost black with a familiar emotion.

"Have you been that turned on all night?" he asked lowly.

Erin swallowed, trying not to feel awkward. "Um,…all night…all day…all morning…" she mumbled quietly.

Jake's eyes widened. "Why didn't you say anything?" he asked incredulously. "You know I'd be more than willing to-"

"I know." she groaned, covering her face with her hands. "But you had a long day at work, and you were tired, and we were both busy, and by the time we had any time to ourselves, it was late and we were both tired…except no matter how tired I am I can't fall asleep because you're pressed up behind me, and-"

Jake pulled her hands from her face, his nose inches from hers so he could look in her eyes. "You're not going to get any sleep when you're that wound up. And I can tell you right now, I'm very much awake, in several ways." He assured her, gently taking her hand and dragging it down to his shorts to show how 'excited' he was.

Erin bit her lip, trying to hide her grin. Jake's own smile stretched seeing her expression.

"So, are you too tired or…?"

Erin answered him by wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him into a heated kiss…

With a huge wave of relief, Erin flopped back against her pillow, gasping to catch her breath. There was a thin sheen of sweat covering every inch of her, and her dirty blonde hair was stuck to her face. A familiar, warm, calloused hand brushed her hair from her face, soft lips at her forehead.

"Your done, sweetie. You did good. I'm so proud of you, Erin." Jake's soothing voice whispered over and over near her ear.

Erin took several deep breaths, her ears picking up the crying and whimpering of a newborn baby. Her newborn baby.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you." she mumbled, keeping her eyes closed.

Jake chuckled. "Don't worry about it, sweetie."

"I don't hate you." she added, referring to what she'd been screaming in the midst of pushing a baby from her privates. "And I won't forbid you from touching me. Because what you're doing now feels nice."

Jake chuckled softly again, still running his fingers through her sweaty hair. "I know, babe. I love you." he told her, kissing her forehead.

"Love you, too. Where's my baby?"

"They're cleaning him up. You'll get to hold him soon." Jake promised her.

It wasn't long before Erin heard the familiar voice of the nurse from nearby. "Mr. and Mrs. Black? Would you like to hold your son?"

Erin's eyes popped open and she looked around drearily. Her eyes landed on a doorway as the nurse entered the room, carrying a blue bundle.

Erin struggled to push herself up until Jake gently helped her sit up against her pillow, which he propped up for her. The nurse approached her bedside and gently placed the tiny newborn in Erin's arms.

He was a little bit bigger than Aspen when she was born, about the size Nick had been. He was already wide awake and looking around the room with big, brown eyes. He had a head full of dark hair, except it was brown instead of black. His skin was the same shade as Aspen's, a couple shades lighter than Jake's.

"He's perfect." Erin whispered, lightly touching his chubby cheek with her finger.

"He is." Jake whispered, sitting on the bed next to her and wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "He has your nose."

Erin smiled, glancing up at him. "I love you."

Jake leaned down and kissed her on the lips. "Love you, too."

There was a knock on the door and another nurse peaked in. "Sorry to interrupt, but there's a waiting room full of people waiting for news."

Jake and Erin chuckled.

"Could you send some of them in?" Jake asked her politely.

"Of course." she smiled politely before backing out of the room again.

They only had to wait about twenty seconds before the door opened again and Nick and Aspen hurried into the room. Rachel entered behind them, followed by Paul pushing Billy's wheelchair into the room.

Nick hurried over to Erin's bedside right near her head while Aspen ran around the bed to Jake, holding her hands up to be picked up. Jake lifted her into his arms, turning in his seat on the bed so she could see the baby.

"This is your little brother." Jake told her, glancing down at his daughter before looking back down at his son.

"What's his name?" Billy asked as Paul pushed him around to the side of the bed near Jake.

Jake and Erin exchanged a look and Jake tilted his head toward her, telling his wife to tell them.

"Noah Jacob Black." she answered, smiling at her little brother, who was looking down at the baby.

"Hi Noah." Aspen spoke to the little baby, shifting in her dad's lap to see her brother better. "I'm your big sister."

Erin smiled, letting go of Noah with one hand to brush her fingers through her daughter's hair.

"So, who all's still out there?" Jake asked curiously, looking over at Paul, who had his arm over Rachel's shoulders.

"Um,…Jared, Kim, Embry, Maya, and their kids are still out there. I think Maya's thinking of leaving, but she wanted to see the baby. Reed's been, uh,…causing his parents stress." he explained with a smirk. Rachel rolled her eyes, unable to hide her own amused smile.

"Reed's been running up and down the halls for the past hour." she explained, referring to Embry and Maya's 11 month old son, who had recently figured out how to run.

"I'm kinda surprised Emily left." Jake admitted.

Paul snorted in amusement. "Well, Sam wasn't too happy."

"About what?" Erin asked in surprise.

Paul, Rachel, and Billy all exchanged amused glances. "Well,…"

"Claire gave Quil cooties." Nick answered loudly, making Aspen giggle.

"What?" Jake and Erin asked through their laughter.

Rachel laughed. "Claire just randomly asked, well, told Quil to take her out on a date, and before he could answer, she flat out kissed him in front of all of us."

Jake's mouth fell open, even as the corners tilted up in a grin. Claire was only a few months short of sixteen, but technically Quil, who was 29, had the body of a 19 or 20 year old.

"I take it Sam wasn't thrilled." Jake guessed.

"Oh, no, he was pissed." Paul chuckled, shaking his head.

"Well, I say it's about time." Erin decided. "Claire's had a crush on him for years. If he wasn't going to man up, I say good for her. What did he do?"

"Kissed her back, obviously." Rachel smirked. "But then they left. Not sure where they went. Emily decided her and Sam needed to leave, too, so she could calm him down."

"Sounds like the afternoon was almost as eventful for all of you as it was for me." Erin joked, passing Noah over to Billy so he could hold his new grandson.
