Rushing downstairs, Brogan rushed into the kitchen and she grabbed her keys from her bag,
"Who is it?" She asked, as she placed her keys in the door.
"Don't worry, open up."
She furrowed her eyebrows together, the voice sounding familiar. Unlocking the door, Brogan turned on the light beside the door, and she slowly opened the door. Her face dropped open, and she swallowed slowly,
"Um." She said, wrapping her hooded zip-up jumper around her body, she shivered slightly. Brogan was wearing a pair of black tights, with a black pencil skirt, and a white flowy, polka dot short blouse.
"Thomas is at—"
"I know." He interrupted. "Can I come in?"
Brogan stared at him for a few seconds, before nodding,
"Sure."
She stepped aside and he walked inside, closing the door behind him. Brogan walked into the living room, and David followed her. She sat down on the leather armchair, and David sat on the sofa, facing her.
"Ah needed to talk to ya about Saturday night."
Brogan let out a laugh,
"Kinda wish y' din't." She admitted, crossing her legs, and looking away from him.
David watched her for a few seconds,
"I think we need to talk about it."
Brogan snorted,
"Why?" She looked at him.
He stared at her,
"Some girl said that you told her that I was your boyfriend?" He asked.
Brogan's eyes widened, feeling her cheeks turn red, looking away from him again.
"That true?"
She was speechless. She kept her mouth shut, refusing to answer his question.
"B?"
Brogan sighed deeply, covering her face in her hands,
"Ah wa' really drunk. They wa' doin' me head-in. And besides, it wa' before that girl, so." Brogan shrugged. "Doesn't really matter now, does it? Ah din't ruin y' night or ought." She looked down.
David stood up and he walked over to Brogan, crouching down in front of her,
"Wa' you cryin' on Saturday night?"
Brogan frowned to herself, and she shrugged slightly.
"Why?" He asked.
She shrugged again,
"Jus' wa'." She replied.
"B…"
Brogan looked up at him, meeting his gaze. She swallowed slowly, as he reached out and took her hand. He smiled at her, and Brogan slowly smiled back at him.
"You're the craziest girl I've ever known." Brogan blushed slightly. "An' you're the reason why I an't 'ad a girlfriend in two years."
