Autumn (Fall)
I looked up to see that face of yours, the lover who'd secretly stab me in the back. I looked away and started walking away from you and to the center of the ballroom. Someone got my wrist and I turned to see who it was; I thought it was you. I secretly expected it to be you; it was Jace. I smiled at him and he offered me his arm — with his compliments — and we started dancing; my eyes searched for you through the crowd. I couldn't see you but I could feel your burning gaze on me. Jace asked me who I was looking for, I lied.
Winter
It was nightfall when you knocked on my door; I wasn't expecting it to be you. You stumbled upon me when I opened the door; I asked you why but you'd never tell. You suddenly gasped as though you were lack of oxygen.
Spring
I was waiting for you outside your classroom; as you have always begged me to do it. You were smiling so brightly when you got out of your room; you hugged me so tightly but I didn't care; I hugged you back. You asked me to have a date with you on Saturday evening; I said yes.
Summer
He grew cold; I didn't know why but secretly I perfectly knew well.
The date was perfect except for the things that happened before it ended.
He used to call on the phone, knock on the door at Friday evenings, kiss and hug me tenderly; those warm smiles I have forgotten as you have always given me hard looks.
It wasn't my fault, was it?
Autumn (Fall)
You broke up with me; you'd never tell why. You forced me to have sex with you on our dates; have you no shame? I looked up from the table and I saw you again; giving me those tender looks that you once gave to me. Someone tapped my arm; I looked away from you and to the one who had disturbed me. Jace. He gave me a warm hug and he kissed me on the cheek; I looked at you and saw the way your eyes have turned dark and cold and betrayed. I had never understood the way you broke up with me and the way you're fighting for me to come back to you again. Never.
