Kayci POV

The duration of the walk from Whiterun was far faster than any previous journey they had partaken in, mostly due to the lack of speech between adventurers. Lydia and Resh because of the awkwardness from their joint experience the night before. And the other happy couple Kayci and Brelyna due to the formers attempted infidelity.

Any conversation that did come to fruition was brief and only the bare necessity was said. That was however, before Brelyna finally snapped after having glared at her lover in anger for so long.

Striding over to the woman she had distanced herself from Brelyna finally spoke, "Aren't you even sorry?!" she hissed.

Kayci sighed as if she had been expecting this to happen for quite a while. Unfortunately, instead of doing what she probably should have and begged for forgiveness, Kayci did the complete opposite. "Why should I be? I've done nothing wrong," she told her.

Resh winced after hearing. "Hmm, I don't know!" she shouted sarcastically, "Probably because my girlfriend tried sleeping with someone else! Two men of all things!"

"It's not like we promised to be exclusive or anything like that. You have no right to try telling me who I can or cannot sleep with!"

"I assumed it was implied! Usually relationships aren't very open. Really though how many people have you been with that have actually 'let' you sleep around like how you do?!" Brelyna yelled, even knowing Kayci's attitude towards sex surely the other woman must know that partners usually don't enjoy cheats.

"No... I've only been in three proper relationships in my time, you, the future father of the year over there," Kayci said gesturing over to him, who glared and nodded in pretend thanks.

"And his sister. I never had this problem before though because I've never cheated..." Kayci knew she probably shouldn't have said that, but hadn't thought through her words long enough beforehand.

"So I'm not good enough for you?!" the Elf spat, pure venom leaking from her words.

Kayci backtracked immediately as the panic flared in her eyes, "No, no, no!" she defended, quickly thinking of an excuse, "You can't blame me. I was all hopped up on moonsugar, and that's a big part of who I am, if you try changing that you would have to change almost everything about me."

Unfortunately it did not have the desired effect Kayci hoped for, instead of a defeated submission at her vices like Kayci expected. Brelyna instead took what she said like a challenge. A true Dom at heart Kayci noted.

"Well then," Brelyna started, "As well as moonsugar going I'll have to think of a list to keep you faithful."

Kayci groaned as the Elf prattled on about all the things she wanted changed about her...

15 Mins later

"...And finally that war paint you have has got to go too." Brelyna finished.

Lydia started to pipe up now having heard the conversation and getting confused. "You don't have any war-paint..."

"It's not on her face, think lower down..." was a exasperated reply, three pairs of eyes all turned to Resh, who it turned out had replied.

Sensing this Resh elaborated, "Who do you think painted it on? I'm the only person she knows who can make the enchantments so that it won't wear away, regardless of the... friction it endures."

That however did not help the argument, and he and Lydia were forced to listen to it for the rest if the walk to Morthal.

In Morthal Lydia POV

Almost as soon as they reached the piss poor excuse for a major city Resh departed from the group, not wanting to listen to Brelyna and Kayci argue any more, or even be near Lydia for any longer.

Lydia, having similar feelings, albeit slightly pissed off at Resh's rude departure from her as well, also went her own way. Toward the alchemy shop so she could get her and her Thanes issue sorted out at last.

It took her some time to find the building she was looking for, the place was dark and dreary so any signs were hard to come by, and misleading. Especially as she had no idea what a Thaumaturgist was.

"Hello there," the woman at the counter immediately greeted when Lydia stepped though the door. "What is it you need?"

Lydia sighed and collected herself to get the awkward part out of the way. "Is there a way of getting... problems removed?"

"Can you specify?" the alchemist asked not fully knowing the situation.

"I'm pregnant and don't want to be." she stated bluntly. "Is there some kind of potion I can take to do that for me?"

The woman's eyes widened in shock slightly but she was more than happy to hand over a bottle. "50 gold for that. Do you mind if I ask who the father is?"

Lydia eagerly accepted the potion and tossed over a coin purse, she still replied with reluctance regardless of the favour she had received. "Why do you want to know?"

"As you've probably noticed Morthal isn't the most fun town. No gossip here whatsoever, give a bored girl something to keep her sane," she practically begged.

Taking pity on her Lydia gave her the abridged version, making sure the woman knew all about the sort-of relationship she had with Resh.

After taking it all in the alchemist thought for a few moments. "If I were you I would keep it," she stated.

Lydia seemed stunned at her reply, and tool s few seconds to reply, "Why would you say that?"

"You're probably almost 30 cycles through your life, 20 more and you won't actually be able to have children. And that's if you even make it that far at all," she explained.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Being Housecarl is a very dangerous profession, especially to the Dragonborn no less. You might be killed before having the chance to find someone to be with. Resh obviously is not interested, and I doubt he'll want to spend time around eligible men just for your sake. It seems to me this will be your only ever chance to have a baby," she whittled on morosely.

Lydia looked sad now, thinking on all the alchemist had said. It did seem this was her only chance for a child she had always wanted, let alone a relationship.

"I guess it would be pretty cool to have the Dragonborn's child..."

30 Mins Later Lydia POV

It wasn't particularly hard for Lydia to stumble upon her companions, or at least two of them. She didn't hang around for long. Not just because she wanted... no, needed to talk to Resh but because there was nothing more unbearable than listening to another couples spat.

Her necessity for finding him was due to the fact that explaining to Resh that she hadn't taken the potion was probably the right thing to do. She still had it on her, but the more she thought about it the more viable an option having a child seemed.

Although it was unlikely that Resh would be on board with the idea not telling him would never work in the end. Firstly he too understood magic as well as Brelyna so would probably find out that way, and it would eventually, after a few months, get to the point where he would notice a physical change.

In a perfect world Lydia wouldn't even need to have the stress of deciding hanging over her head, Resh would just be more than supportive and instead of be disgusted by their experience actually want to repeat it like she did, just sober.

Unfortunately that was not the case, now she doubted that he would even return, let alone be pleasant to her.

Resh POV

After much thought Resh had reached the conclusion that some time alone without any guilt for having left Lydia was all he needed. It gave him a chance to think about the last few days and upon Kayci's words about relations with other races.

As much as he hated to admit it he was starting to see some form of sense in his friends words. Looking back on it his rather unintelligent, fellow Tsaesci had been right many times before, and not just about this.

In fairness most of her advice had been about sex or what was or what was not safe to use as lubrication, but it was still valid advice that was correct nonetheless.

What she had said about there being nothing wrong with mating with the other races had really struck him. After racking his brain with that any previous objections he used to have didn't make as much sense. After all it turned out he was attracted to Lydia, coupled with the knowledge that she was more than a capable fighter as well as good friend Resh was starting to see fewer and fewer reasons he was so disgusted after having been with her.

Of course even despite this he knew he was in no position to have a child, especially a human one. He had important things to do, all this Dragonborn stuff for example. Besides, were this child to have been born his plans on going back to Akavir would probably have to be cut short because although he didn't want offspring at the moment, a Tsaesci would never just leave it's young alone.

Even more importantly due to his Tsaesci immortality and the low average lifespan of humans, he didn't particularly enjoy the idea of outliving his child.

He was just glad Lydia wasn't going to keep this thing.

Brelyna POV

It had been a few minutes since their argument had finished, and it had only ended because her throat had gotten sore from shouting. The Dark Elf wasn't sure how much longer of this she could take of this. There was no doubt that if their relationship continued on like this it would never work.

They had been so involved in shouting Brelyna had barely even acknowledged Lydia find them, thankfully she had the good grace to leave immediately instead of trying to intervene, as well as that the other woman had her own problems deal with. Like being the mother of an antisocial man of legends baby.

Brelyna had long since decided that she wasn't getting anywhere with her lover. It was strange, Kayci seemed to care more about her many, many vices than any form of relationship. As well as that Kayci didn't seem too bothered that she tried cheating. Although that could be somewhat her fault for not setting the boundaries for the two of them before doing anything. If the other woman genuinely didn't know she wanted to be exclusive then Brelyna could hardly blame her.

Finally after thinking it over again Brelyna broke the tense silence, "I think it may be partially my fault why we argue. If I were to ask you not to sleep with anyone else while we're together would you agree to that?"

"Yeah sure. What about if its another person and you?" Kayci asked, to the Elf's relief it seemed that Kayci genuinely had no idea, as she had been quick to respond to her question.

"Thank you." Brelyna smiled, it seemed their fighting may be coming to an end, although she did have to make something clear, "And also, about that threesome thing… that won't be happening."

"Why not? Surely you'd like it even more to have two women under your control, begging just to pleasure you as their master?" Kayci asked, putting on her most seductive voice to try and persuade her.

"However pleasant that sounds, it won't be happening. I dont like to share my things," Brelyna replied, in a tone that wasn't angry, but still made it clear that Kayci would never win this round.

"Fine, it's more your loss than mine," Kayci said, giving up on her idea, "On another note, now we're not fighting anymore can I have also have my moonsugar back?"

Brelyna's icy glare was all the reply she needed.

"I'm going to guess that's a no then," Kayci muttered.

"Damn right it is. But all that other stuff I mentioned the other day, like your war-paint lower down, that can stay, I was only saying that because I was pissed off. the moonsugar though, that's going for good," Brelyna went on, ending her declaration by pulling out Kayci last remaining pouch of sugar and lighting it in her hands with magic.

'J'zargo would be so upset.' Brelyna thought to herself, that damn Khajiit couldn't go anywhere without some of his Elsweyr fondue speciality.

Not only was her fellow mage from the College probably upset but her lover definitely was, "I paid good coin for that!"

Brelyna thought about it for a second and spoke sternly, "I think we should go and find an inn, I would be more than happy to continue this in the bedroom. Maybe I could show you what happens to sluts who have outbursts like that. I'm pretty sure some of that leather gear you have could come in handy. The collar definitely."

Without another word Kayci followed the now moving Dunmer eagerly to wherever they were going. The Tsaesci was so enamoured she probably wouldn't have noticed if it were into the maw of a dragon .

Resh POV

Resh had seen and heard more than enough of Kayci's escapades in the past that he on his search for Lydia to skip the tavern entirely. He wasn't even in the town and he could hear her and Brelyna. Although that was probably more due to his Tsaescian hearing.

Nevertheless he was happy that the two had worked out their issues, he really did like Brelyna and they were a good couple. Either that or they were just having angry hate sex. It was most likely the former though, ever since getting stabbed by an angry Argonian man, while having sex, for sleeping around, Kayci had learnt her lesson about going to bed with an angry partner.

As well as that he doubted that was where Lydia would be located too, with any luck she would have headed straight to an alchemist to get rid of anything before it started to turn into a child. Not only would it be humiliating for him to go back to Akavir with an infant when he had made repeated jokes about that probably being Kayci's fate, but he was pretty sure that Lydia wouldn't be comfortable birthing the child if she knew what species he was.

Worse still if it came out his as a Tsaesci like him. Despite not being the most knowledgeable on the cruder parts of cross species breeding he still knew what happened when it came to offspring.

Although a common myth, there was no such thing as hybrid babies, unless one were to use magic to purposely achieve that result, why though was beyond Resh, it would just make telling between species far more difficult. That however did not mean two of different races were incapable of mating, that much was obvious from the past few days.

No, it just meant any offspring assumed the mothers' species. It was most likely that way because as the female is the one that actually gives birth, the child is their race so they can give birth safely with something their body is built for.

Regardless of all that Resh still had his worries of a Tsaesci child being birthed from a Nordic mother. Of course Lydia wouldn't be able to give birth like a Tsaesci and lay an egg, but being shapeshifters it was a possibility that the child could come out looking human, but actually be one of his own kind. He reckoned it was probably a 50/50 chance on the race.

Any worries he had were instantly discarded the moment he caught Lydia's scent, and moments later caught her going around the corner, obviously looking for him as well.

Resh was going to speak first but Lydia beat him to it, she obviously had something important to say because she had a stern expression on her face, almost if she were expecting resistance of some kind for whatever reason, and was just steeling herself to any flak. Resh pondered the thought for a second before listening intently to what she was saying.

"I'm going to keep this child…"

Kayci POV (Minor Femslash ahead, if you don't like skip to next bold heading)

"UUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!" was all the reply Resh gave, and his cry echoed around the whole pathetic excuse for a city.

Brelyna dropped the leather cord she was holding when the extremely loud despair filled groan filled their room.

"Why'd you stop?" Kayci asked, saying it so casually it had seemed she had almost forgotten that she was currently hog tied, filled in one hole with one of her many carved toys, and in the other with two of Brelyna's fingers. And to top it all off had a leather cord attached to a collar she wore.

"Did you not just hear that? It was louder than you were… I think it was Resh… in anguish…" Brelyna spoke, seemingly confused so saying the words with little certainty.

"I'm sure he'll be fine," Kayci snapped impatiently, "Now hurry up and keep pumping those damn fingers."

Brelyna raised an eyebrow at her command. And Kayci quickly added, "Sorry mistress…"

"You are going to be sorry for speaking back to me like that," the Elf replied strictly, before giving a harsh pull on the cord attached to Kayci's collar slightly choking her, "Now where were we?"

Resh POV (Minor Femslash over)

"Resh can you please calm down?" Lydia asked, repeatedly getting in his way to stop him from punching holes in the building next to him, or from trying to run away again. Obviously he didn't like this idea as much as she did.

He glared at her in response, "I have every right to be un-fucking-calm! I don't want a child, especially one from a drunken night together!"

"This might be my only chance to be a mother though. It's not like it is a problem for you, I'll take care of it. You don't even need to be involved," Lydia tried to explain so he would stop being so distressed, she could see why he was though.

"Of course I have to be involved, if I am going to be a father I'm going to look after it and teach it what I was taught. What kind of father would I be if I didn't? You can't keep this thing, honestly, it's for your sake I'm saying this stuff," Resh muttered, thinking about what it would be like for Lydia were the child indeed his own race.

"Why can't you just tell me all of this stuff?" Lydia asked desperately, "I deserve to know, especially considering all we have been through. Even more so if it's important to me or the child. It would be wrong of you not to tell me. No matter how bad it is."

Resh sighed before being about to make the worst decision of his life. "Better yet, I'll show you…"
