Ever since their last trip together in York, Brogan had been more adamant to make tier next meeting not too long away. After discovering that he would be playing for a charity football match in Manchester, she took the opportunity and decided to travel there for the weekend. After she finished work, Brogan made her way to Manchester, and met Adam two hours later in a pub.
"Hi!" He exclaimed, a huge smile on his face.
"Hi!" Brogan beamed, as Adam pulled her into a tight embrace.
"I'm so glad you're here." He murmured in her ear.
She smiled,
"I'm glad I'm here, too."
The two pulled apart, and then took a seat at a table. Adam took hold of her hand, and started to play with her fingers.
"You excited for the match?" Brogan asked.
Adam smiled and nodded,
"Yeah, I am."
Brogan smiled back,
"You guys are off out tomorrow night, aren't ya?"
He nodded again,
"Yeah. An' so are you." Adam pointed out. "Ah told ya. Some of the other lads are bringin' their girlfriends too. So it in't just you."
"Like who?"
"Danny. He's bringing Kirsty."
"Is she nice?" Brogan asked.
"Course she is." He nudged her, a smile on his face.
Brogan smiled back,
"Right, yeah. Okay." She giggled. "I'll definitely come then."
Adam grinned and he wrapped his arms around her waist,
"Good. It would be a crap night without ya."
Brogan smiled, and she shook her head, kissing his cheek softly.
After deciding to make their way out of the pub a few minutes later, the two held hands, as they walked down the street.
"Shall we go to mine and just chill?" Adam suggested.
Brogan shrugged and nodded,
"Yeah, sounds good to me."
Adam led her towards her car, and the two got in.
As Brogan fastened her seatbelt, she looked at him,
"Look. You've never been in my car before. So I'm sorry if-"
"B? You'll be fine." Adam reassured her. "Don't worry."
Brogan smiled small at him and nodded, and she started the engine and drove out of the parking space, before following Adam's directions.
Making it to Adam's place, they both got out and made their way over to the front door.
"Welcome to my humble home." Adam teased.
Brogan laughed, shaking her head, as she walked inside. She took everything in, and she smiled,
"Oh, it's so nice!"
Adam smiled,
"Thanks."
Taking her bag from her hands, Adam made his way into his bedroom, dropping the bag onto the bed. Brogan followed suit, leaning against the doorframe,
"Nice room." She smiled.
Adam turned to her and he returned it.
"Thanks."
Brogan tucked her hair behind her ear,
"I'm so happy to be with you again." She admitted.
Since their trip to York, Brogan had felt more confident with their relationship. She was more than happy to take compliments from Adam's fans, and she was more relieved that she wasn't receiving any hate.
blnx3: Finally arrived in Manchester! :)
Locking her phone, Brogan shoved it into her bag, and she shrugged off her jacket.
"You can't sit with us." Adam read her shirt. "That sounds familiar."
Brogan smiled,
"Mean girls."
"Ahhhh." He chuckled.
Placing her jacket on her weekend bag, Brogan then sat down on Adam's bed, and sighed slightly,
"I feel so much more relaxed now that I'm here."
Adam came and sat next to her,
"I told you you'd be fine." He wrapped his arm around her waist, bringing her in closer.
"I know. I just get panicky sometimes." Brogan replied.
Adam kissed the side of her head softly,
"No need."
Brogan smiled at him, and then she rested her head on his shoulder.
adamslongapple: Yes I will be going
to the night out tomorrow night. :)
blnx3: adamslongapple have fuuuun! :) xo
adamslongapple: blnx3 you're making it sound
like you're not coming too! x
blnx3: adamslongapple hahahaha. :p xo
As Adam walked into the living room, he handed Brogan a cup of tea.
"Thanks." She said, snuggling into his side as he sat down. "Surprised you actually told them you're coming." Brogan teased.
Adam laughed,
"Well, I used to like only telling you. But you're always going to know, so..." He shrugged.
Brogan smiled and kissed his neck softly,
"You're sweet."
"I'm honest. Ah told ya." He smiled, wrapping his arm around her waist, as the two had a sip of tea.
"So what's the plan for tonight?"
"Ummmmm... Dominoes and a film?" Adam suggested.
Brogan gasped,
"What film?"
"What film do you wanna watch?"
"Well... What've you got?"
"Netflix." Adam nodded.
Brogan giggled, and she nodded back,
"Right."
Adam handed her the TV remote, and Brogan began to flick through the Netflix libraries.
"I don't know what I wanna watch." Brogan thought aloud.
"What're you fancying?" Adam asked, stroking her side.
"Uh..." Brogan trailed off, reading the film titles. "A thriller."
"What about that one with that actress you like? She's from... The bird reference."
She gasped and looked at Adam,
"Rachel McAdams!"
He nodded,
"Yeah, her!"
"Red Eye! Oh my god, do they have it?!"
Adam chuckled at her excitement,
"I dunno, have a look."
"I don't know how!" Brogan squealed, before handing the remote back to him.
"I just love that film." Brogan said, snuggled into Adam.
He smiled,
"Yeah, I like that film."
Brogan looked up at Adam, and he smiled down at her. As they stared at each other for a few moments, Adam then leant down and kissed her lips softly. As they parted, Brogan nuzzled her face into Adam's neck, and she smiled to herself.
"I like it when you're here." Adam murmured against the top of her head.
Brogan nodded,
"Me too."
"What pizza do you want, B?"
"Just cheese and tomato, please."
He nodded,
"Alright." He picked up his phone from the arm of the sofa. "Shall we share some chicken strips?"
Brogan looked up at him,
"Yeah, we can do."
As Adam started to order their food, Brogan began to stroke his arm absentmindedly.
"You alright there?" Adam asked, lifting his gaze to her.
Brogan smiled and nodded,
"I'm great."
Adam smiled back at her, and then he finished their order,
"Done!" He announced.
"I've been excited for this weekend for weeks." Brogan giggled.
"Me too." Adam replied honestly. "I'm excited for us to both go to this night out thing tomorrow, too. Should be a good laugh. I've been to 'em before."
"What're the fans like?" Brogan asked curiously.
"They're shy at first." He chuckled. "An' then after a while, one of 'em 'as the guts to actually come up to us, an' 'ave a conversation."
Brogan smiled to herself, imagining herself being in that position.
"I'd probably just pray that you'd come over and say hi." Brogan laughed.
Adam joined in, and he nodded,
"Don't worry. I'd spot ya, an' say hi."
She nudged him gently,
"Good to know."
After they both ate, Brogan stretched, and then she frowned,
"I'm so full." She sighed.
Adam nodded,
"Me too."
He checked the time,
"D'ya wanna get a shower?"
Brogan raised her eyebrows at him,
"What time is it?"
"About seven."
"Already?!"
Adam laughed,
"Yep. Time flies an' all that."
The two shared a smile, and then Brogan nodded, standing up,
"Alright, I will."
"Out the door, and down the hall. Then last on your left."
Brogan smiled, and she leaned down, pecking his lips softly,
"Thanks."
"Mm, welcome."
After Brogan showered, she wrapped a towel around her body, and then she walked out of the bathroom, and she walked into Adam's bedroom. Her eyes lifted in surprise to see Adam laying on his bed, as he looked at his phone. Hearing her presence, Adam looked up and smiled,
"Nice shower?"
Brogan nodded slowly,
"You scared the shit out of me." She told him.
Adam laughed,
"Sorry, babe."
Standing up, he made his way over to Brogan; making her heart race.
He kissed her cheek softly,
"My turn." Adam whispered in her ear; causing her to shiver.
A small smirk crept up on his face, as he walked out of his bedroom and into his bedroom.
Brogan closed the bedroom door, and she exhaled deeply.
"He's going to be the death of me." Brogan mumbled to herself.
