Alright, so, I have a little surprise for you on this one. I won't be jumping to Konoha any more, promise! We're staying with the Akatsuki and Akatsugirls from now on. Okay, on to the chapter!

Kira's P.O.V.
I groaned and rolled around on the bed. I actually corkscrewed in one place. "What's up, babe?" Hidan asked, looking up from polishing his scythe on the floor. "I'm so fucking bored. I want to go and fight a bunch of peoples!" I groaned and face planted on the bed. "You know we have a hell lot of storage rooms in the back. Why don't you adventure like you've been wanting to?" He asked. I leapt off of the bed and began to make my way to the back of the Akatsuki base. I had forgotten about these. I pushed though the double doors marked "storage" and began my search.
I opened the first door I came across and found a broom closet with a bed in it. "Why the fuck do we need a broom closet with a bed in it? Does fucking Harry potter live here?" I said and snapped shut the door and went to the next one. Empty. I shut the door and moved on. I opened the third door and found a bunch of dead bodies hanging up. I puked and shut the door. "DAMN IT SASORI!" I yelled, wiping my mouth and moved on. I found a huge room piled with paper and pictures. Some had X's through them. I read one hanging up on the wall. Zabuza Momochi. $2,000. Dead or Alive. "Kakuzu." I said. I read another one. One without the X. Monkey D. Luffy. $30,000. Dead or Alive. "Really? Are you kidding me? Like Luffy would actually be here! Come on! This must be the prank gift Ana gave him at Christmas." I said. I looked at one of the files. It was in Kakuzu's hand writing. I sat on the floor and read.
I don't understand why Ana gave me the poster of Monkey D. Luffy at Christmas. I also don't understand why he's so hard to find! The bastard is made of rubber for god's sake! How hard could he be to find?! Apparently very hard. There are now signs of "Straw Hat Luffy" any where! Why is the bastard so hard to find?! I'll have to ask Ana and Kira for help as soon as we go back and get them.
I stared at it for a moment. Then I burst in to laughter. He actually believed it? I stood up and picked up an empty box and threw in everything labeled MDL, including the computer print out poster. I picked up a pencil and wrote a note to Kakuzu.
Dear Kakuzu, Haha, Ana pulled a good one on you. I'm surprised you didn't figure it out before. I'll give you the secret to why you can't catch Monkey D. "Straw Hat" Luffy. He isn't in this universe! You'd have to go to the One Piece Universe to catch him and His pirate crew! And even if you did go to catch him, you'd end up helping him anyways! Sorry! I'll take care of all this garbage research for you. –Kira.
I picked up the box and walked down to Ana's medical lap where she and Itachi were. His arms were around her waist and he kept kissing her cheek every five minutes. They didn't notice me walking in. "Itachi, I can't work with you kissing me and rubbing my belly every five minutes. I left the couch in here fro a reason." She scolded him. "Sorry, but I can't help it. I want to feel our baby kick!" He said. She chuckled. "Not for at least another week, Itachi-kun." She said. I made a popping sound with my lips and whistled at them. They turned to look at me and I grinned. "Hey, sis, can I borrow Itachi-niisan for a bit?" I asked. "Yeah, okay. Keep him occupied for a little bit, I need to focus on curing his illness with out him fawning over me for a little bit." She said. I giggled.
He looked at her with a hurt/shocked expression. "You'd dump me on the first chance to get rid of me?" He asked. "Itachi, I love you, and I love that you're happy to be a daddy and husband soon, but right now, I'd sell you out if Tobi came and asked you to play unicorn princesses with him and Tabby." She said and I laughed. "Now shoo! Both of you!" She said, shoving me and my brother in law to be out of the lab and locked us out. "What do you want?" he asked. "Awwww, did I piss off niisan?" I asked teasingly. "Hn." He said. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him along. "Then I'll help you work out you issues again, niisan!" I said and dragged him to the kitchen.
"What are we doing, Kira?" He groaned. I thrust the large box of papers in his arms. "Hold this." I said and jumped up on the counter top. "Kira, what are you doing?" Itachi asked. "Getting the marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers! Ana put them up so Tobi and tabby couldn't reach them." I said. I made the release hand sign. "Release!" I said. And the air around the cabinet shimmered. I opened it and pulled out the ingredients for s'mores. "Kira? Itachi?" Hidan asked as he entered the kitchen and saw us. "Hi, Hidan!" I said and lost my balance. "Whoa!" I said, clutching the sugar foods to my chest. Hidan darted forward and caught me before I hit the floor or table. "What are you two doing?" Hidan asked. "I'm wondering that myself, honestly." Itachi said.
"I'm just burning a box of things with Itachi and roasting marshmallows over it! Wanna join?" I asked him with big puppy eyes. Hidan sighed. "You're on your period." He said. "Nope! I'm just excited about what I'm burning." I said. Hidan cocked an eyebrow and Itachi pulled the paper from the top. "Wanted. Monkey D. Luffy. $30,000. Dead or Alive. Kira, are these Kakuzu's files?" He said. I nodded. Itachi handed the box to Hidan and turned around. "Their the files from the prank poster Ana gave him for Christmas!" I said. He looked over at me. "I'm doing him a favor." I said. "He's still gonna be pissed, but it's worth it for s'mores!" I said. "C'mon, Itachi! Ana won't let Kira use fire ninjutsu yet and I don't know any. C'mon, c'mon, c'mon!" Hidan said. Itachi sighed. "Fine. But if Ana gets mad, you two forced me at scythe point." He said. "I can live with that." I said. "I can verify that." Hidan said. "No, no, just, no." I said and we carried the box, sticks, and sugar foods out to the back.
I set the sweets down on the bench and set down the box. "Light it up, Itachi!" I said. Itachi sighed and made the hand signs. "Fire style: phoenix flower jutsu." He said. Fire erupted from his mouth and engulfed the box in flames. "SPIT FIRE!" I cheered. I grabbed marshmallow and stuck it over the fire until it was cooked to perfection. "Thank you Niisan!" I said through a mouth full of s'mores. "Hn." He replied. I beamed. Soon the box stopped burning and I was back to my adventure. I opened the door next to Kakuzu's office and found a commercial.
Do you want to have your own recording studio? Well, now you can with My First Record Label! Call 1-800-FAKE now! "Dafuq?" I said. I closed the door and moved on. I turned the corner and saw Itachi furiously trying to open a door. "ANA! LET ME IN!" Itachi yelled, panicked. "Itachi? What's going on?" I asked. "Kakuzu found out and now he's going to kill us all!" He said, yanking on the knob. "ITACHI! GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE FUCK!" I heard Kakuzu yell from not far away. I began to try to yank open the door. "SWEET MERCIFUL FUCK, ANA, LET US IN FOR JASHIN'S SAKE!" I yelled. Ana opened the door and Itachi and I tumbled in. I slammed the door shut and dove under the couch with Itachi. "What the hell did you two do?" Ana asked. "I kinda told Kakuzu that the Luffy poster you gave him was fake and had Itachi burn the box and we roasted marshmallows over it." I said. "And you didn't share? You bitch, I should sell you out." Ana said. "Please, no." I said. Ana sighed and turned back to her experiment table.
Kakuzu came bursting through the door ten minutes later. "WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY?" He yelled. "Who?" Ana asked. "ITACHI AND KIRA!" He yelled. Oh, sweet merciful shit, Ana, don't rat us out. I thought as Ana glanced at our hiding spot with her eyes.
"I don't know, I haven't seen them all day. I've been in here all day. Why? What did they do?" She asked. "It's not what they did, it's what you did at Christmas!" Kakuzu said. Ana cocked an eyebrow at him. "Chir- oh, the Monkey D. Luffy poster, right. Well, you should have known better, Kakuzu. I mean, the picture was animated." She said. "And, why are you after my sister and fiancé when I'm the one who pulled it?" She asked. "I don't hit pregnant women and mothers. So I'm taking out on your sister and lover." He said. She sighed. "Down the left hall, third door to the right." She said and Kakuzu darted out of the room. Itachi and I climbed out from under the couch. "Thanks sis." I said. "You are two lucky fucks. Now back to wandering about. And Kira, take Itachi with you." She said and mixed something together. I dragged Itachi out and he helped me search all the storage rooms.
I opened one door and found Kakuzu. He ran out us and I slammed the door in his face at the last second. "Nope." I said and went to the next door. There were a lot of very vivid pornographic pictures of Konan and Pein making love. I screamed and covered my eyes and Itachi slammed shut the door. "We burn that room later?" He asked. "Agreed." I said. We continued down and Found Shay hanging upside down from the roof by her ankles. "What-" I started. "I was annoying Sasori so he turned me upside down and left me here." She said. I threw a kunai at the rope and she fell. "Oww…" She squeaked. Itachi and I moved on to the next room. I gasped when I saw it. "A… Library…" I said. "So beautiful!" I squealed and darted inside.
"I never thought you were a book worm, Kira." Itachi said, shutting the door behind us. "Only in Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and adventure novels. Sometimes romance." I said. "OH MY GOD THE SAPPHIRE SPRING NOVELS(1)!" I yelled and snatched the first book off the shelf. I sat down and immersed myself in the story of Anya and her friends. I didn't even hear Itachi and whatever he said. I was too busy reading the exciting adventure/fantasy/romance novel.
3rd person P.O.V.
"I believe they are actually called the Gemstone series." Itachi said, but Kira didn't hear him. She was too engrossed in her book to hear or care. With a sigh, Itachi drifted about the library. He searched for a book he hadn't read already. He finally gave up and settled down in a chair with a book that Ana had given him. It was the true story of a girl who had survived the Holocaust. He found it amazing that anyone could live through seeing all of that. Through living through that.
But then again, he had murdered his entire clan, so he was one to talk.
Itachi sighed and looked up after he had finished the book and noticed that Kira had fallen asleep in the middle of the third book and was sleeping with her mouth open and head tilted back. "You are definitely Ana's sister." He sighed and shook his head. He smirked at what had gone through his head when they found out about the sister ship between the two thought to be best friends. I still can't believe it some times. He thought. Kira coughed in her sleep and that erupted a memory for him. His birthday that day in Florida.
Flashback.
Itachi was sitting on the beach, watching as Ana walked along the reef. He smirked. I wonder if it would be possible for the two of us? Nah, I don't think she sees me that way. The way she did. He thought for the fifteenth time this trip. "GUYS!" He heard Nyisha yell. He looked up and saw Kira clutch Nyisha's shoulders with a panicked look on her face. He looked over everyone and noticed a very important detail.
Ana was missing.
He leapt up and dove in to the water, sharingan activated, searching for the chakra pattern of the girl. Feeling and looking. There! She was unconscious, water filling her lungs and on an under water ledge. He reached out and grabbed her and dragged her back to shore and began CPR. Breathe, please, breathe… He prayed silently. He was growing tired and he was slowly losing hope of saving the girl in the bikini and soaked hat. Why did she wear that while swimming anyways?
Ana soon began to cough and throw up the water in her lungs and stomach. Kira moved to hug her and Itachi pushed her way. "Give her room to breathe." He said. Kira sat back on her heals. "You saved me." Ana said, wetting her lips. (A/N: Actual dialogue from Evil Angels!) Itachi was taken by surprised when Ana's lips crashed on to his. His was shocked, but her lips were so soft and so familiar and her body felt so comfortable against his…
Before Itachi had realized what was truly happening, his arms were tight around her small waist and he was kissing her back. He didn't hear Kira and Tabetha talking to Kakuzu, he was too involved in the sweet kiss on his lips. Itachi had been in deserts and in other places as hot up to 500 degrees, but in that moment, Itachi had never felt warmer in her life.
Flash back end.
Itachi sighed at the memory. He still felt that warmth every time Ana kissed him. He smiled. Even though he had nearly lost her that day, that was also the day he got her, therefore, his favorite memory of her. Or, at least until the day he could stop calling her his girlfriend and fiancé and call her the one thing he had wanted to call her since the day she fell asleep in his arms on the way to Florida before he told her all about Ayu.
The best memory of her and the best day of his life would be the day he called her his wife.
Awwwwwww, well wasn't that sweet, oh, and here's your surprise… THE SURPRISE IS NEXT CHAPTER! Lol, anyways…
