Kayci POV

It had only taken a few days to get a reply from Resh, which is faster than she was ever expecting. It wasn't nearly as instant as their old mages telepathic messaging was, but then again it wasn't as energy wasting either. The poor man pretty much had a seizure every time they got him to send a report over the ocean and receive any orders from the rest of the Tsaesci.

There was no doubt how useful he was though, it meant they could keep in touch with family, know their objectives, send back information, in a split second almost as if they were there themselves, and it left no evidence unlike a letter so was untraceable.

This way was good enough though, it's not like anyone would read through their letters anyway so there was no harm in it. Besides, she was too pleased to care anyway, not just one, but Resh had sent two notes to her, maybe Lydia had written one too, it would be nice hearing how the pregnancy was from her perspective, she was interested at how different human pregnancy was.

Kayci growled as she read, and subsequently crumpled up the first parchment tossing it through the window in anger. That pretentious twat had had the nerve to correct her own message and send it back, she'd never seen so many scribbles and annotations in her life, and to think, Kayci had actually thought she had done well with it.

Hopefully the second would be better, seeing as it's actually something he wrote rather than criticism. She couldn't wait to hear about all of the stuff he'd been doing, her days were really boring with Brelyna studying, so it'd be nice to know someone was having a good time.

Resh's Letter (Imagine the most perfect handwriting you can think of)

Dear Kayci (I'm not calling you 'Krizia')

From now on get Brelyna to write instead of you, I know she's busy with work but I honestly can't bear to read any of that shit you sent me. Reading it was like someone was driving an axe into my head it was so bad.

Anyway though, do you want me to come over and kill that Thalmor prick? I don't mind, anyone who scares you enough to do that doesn't deserve life, and I know you can't get rid of him yourself, so just say the word and I'll do it.

You dare even touch that Skooma stuff again and I swear you'll regret it, I'm not really sure what I can do from here, but Brelyna will know about it, along with a few other stuff I'm sure you would rather she didn't.

And apart from pissing off this monk by not saving the world I've been having the worst experience anyone can ever have. If you think for a moment that being bored is worse than Lydia being pregnant you couldn't be any more wrong.

She treats me like a slave, and I have no idea what to do, if I talk back she gets angry or upset, and I don't know what will happen if she doesn't get what she wants, she's the mother of my child for Divine's sake! and she's swelled up, and acting like a bitch, is she okay? ask Brelyna when she knows about our kind.

This had better be worth it in the end, which will hopefully be in a few weeks, three months is long enough.

The sex is also really bad now, she wants to do it more, but is being really selfish, its not even good for me at all. So I'd say you and Brelyna not having sex is better than what I'm getting from Lydia.

- Resh

Resh POV

He really should have said 'no' this time, it was almost like Lydia was forcing herself on him now, and it's not like he could really say no was it? as far as he was concerned so long as she had his offspring inside her he no longer had a say. It was his fault after all, and he had been a dick when they first found out, so it was only fair she could be worse back to him.

The sex still hadn't got any better, in fact it was even worse now, this strange milk-like fluid leaked out slightly during the middle which suffice to say made him feel pretty ill, it was disgusting, he didn't even know humans could produce disgusting bodily fluid like that. Lydia didn't seem to care either when he brought it up, in fact she actually got pissed off at him for suggesting it wasn't good for him. Well it would be if she actually put effort into it too instead of pushing him off the moment she climaxed. Of course he didn't say that though, lest she start shouting and crying again.

On a happier note he was pretty sure he knew another way to reach the top of the mountain, one which didn't involve shouting,to get rid of the murderous winds that even his ring couldn't handle. It basically involved him scaling around the side and rock-climbing up what he could.

He knew it was dangerous, and how he could die, but he didn't care, at least he wouldn't have to look after Lydia any longer. Recently any time he spent away from her was the best thing he could ever ask for, he knew it was wrong and how he should be there for her, but he'd done enough, and needed some time apart from her. It's not like she appreciated him anyway.

Brelyna's Letter

Resh

I hope you know that as I write this letter you're keeping me from doing work necessary for my future career and later life, so if that all goes to oblivion I'm blaming you for it, although I must admit, Krizia's writing was atrocious, so I can see your dismay.

Anyway, call Krizia by her name please, I don't care if you don't like it but you never know when that Thalmor (who you are not to come over and kill, lest problems get worse) is going to start intercepting couriers.

She's not going anywhere near Skooma, and believe me, if I could keep her away from that ridiculous cat idiot I would, but unfortunately we have different classes so that's kind of hard. Besides, I have faith Kayci can conquer her own demons… a bit of faith that is… okay, none at all, that's why if he keeps offering her the stuff that stupid Khajiit has got to go!

Also, it's not my fault she's bored! I have to spend my time either in classes, sleeping or studying, it's her own fault for wanting to stay here with me, regardless of how thankful I am for the company.

Now, onto the sex and relationship stuff, for which Krizia's had a lot of inappropriate input. Don't worry, I didn't include a lot she wanted to put in so it's a lot less crude than originally. It's almost embarrassing when she goes on about all that stuff, makes me feel like I don't know anything like a virgin.

First of all just because she's pregnant doesn't mean you have to be a pushover, I know you should be a little more lenient with her but you can let her control you for the next six months like you've been letting her already.

Her hormones are only going to get worse for the next half year so you need to find a way to deal with it and stick up for yourself, because from the way you've described it she is taking advantage of you way too much. And being downright cruel, which you shouldn't stand for.

As for the sex, just tell her that either she has to do some work too and not push you away or you don't do anything at all for her, I know that's probably quite hard for you to imagine, but still you've got to try. Things won't get better until you make a sacrifice. If you want Krizia's input she said, and I quote 'Stick it in the ass' and 'Thrust as hard as you can as quickly as you can'... I'm not even sure how she expected that to be useful information, but apparently it's something you should bear in mind.

Seeing as I've imagined you having hardcore sex with a pregnant woman I think now is a good time to switch to a less disgusting topic, and a more serious one…

Something for you to bear in mind is that I don't like being kept in the dark. I don't know what it is you two are hiding but one of you is going to have to tell me sooner or later seeing as this isn't the first time you've said 'our kind' as if we're so much different than just man and mer.

I'm not Naive you know, I can start to figure this stuff out eventually, I'm sure Krizia's skin has gone completely back to normal for more of a reason than 'I got better'.

- Brelyna

P.S.- Leave that incriminating stuff you mentioned about Kayci in your next letter, it sounds… interesting.

Resh POV

It had been nearly a few hours now and it seemed like he had gotten no where with this mountain, every few feet he climbed a sudden gust of cold air blew by and either forced him downwards or nearly froze him solid.

He was almost considering giving up, but then he remembered the alternative was that disgusting dragon language and forced himself to keep moving up. Plus he could only imagine what those damn Greybeards would start saying, they already thought he was a pushover because of Lydia, he couldn't let them have anymore ammo to use against him. He was the only example of a Tsaesci they knew of and he couldn't let their impression of his kind be tarnished by himself.

In hindsight trying to climb up to the Throat of the World probably wasn't the best of ideas, but it needed to be done to meet this 'Paarthurnax' person, whoever it was had a very strange sounding name. One that Resh didn't like the sound of, yet he couldn't exactly figure out why, probably due to the extreme chills blasting through his body, threatening to make his fingers, among other extremities fall off.

Yet he still kept climbing, it must've been a good four more hours until he actually reached the top as it seemed he was barely moving a centimetre every minute. He thought he had reached the top many a time before but it had always turned out to be little more than another ledge, but this time it was for real.

He arose to a huge outcrop on the rocky peak, he didn't have much time to admire it though before the bracing cold air hit him again, and made him collapse back onto the ground, blizzard snow striking him in the eyes and face, Tsaesci clearly were not built for these conditions, and even his ring couldn't help him completely.

Before Resh passed out he glanced out at the towering form above him and started murmuring, although his vision was severely impaired and he could barely see, it almost looked like a dragon.

Lydia POV

Resh had been gone for ages now it was awful, she wanted a back massage and there was no way she was letting any of these old Greybeard people touch her. She barely wanted Resh to touch her as it is, but that would just be crossing a line.

Despite her newfound aversion to touch her sex drive was higher than ever, much to her dismay, it just meant that touching her lover felt 'gross' in a way. But alas it was a necessary evil, she couldn't get off and not let Resh touch her at the same time. So she chose the lesser of two evils, letting Resh fuck her, which although very good, she still always felt nauseous because of her condition. There was no way she'd ever let him finish either, any longer than she needed would not be very preferable, and as long as she had this kid in her he wasn't 'releasing' anywhere near her, she could only imagine how ill that would make her feel with her whole 'turned off by everything' state.

Lydia was now really regretting her decision to actually go through with this child, it was terrible how the pregnancy was making her act, and she knew it was bad for Resh too, the worst part about it was how little she cared about how he felt due to hormones making her selfish.

Now she just had to think of something to do while Resh was away, she had been calling him for the last 20 minutes asking for more sugar based products and he hadn't come running in with them so like a good little snake person, so obviously it was something important.

Much to her good fortune that was just when a courier ran through the door, maybe she would have something to do while she waited.

"Letter here for Resh," the man called, holding up the parchment in his hands.

Lydia wondered why it wasn't also to her, had Resh been saying things behind her back? "I'll take that," she muttered, grasping the letter out of his hands and sending him on his way. This'll be interesting.

Lydia POV

The Nord glare down at the letter in front of her, she couldn't believe the other were talking about her behind her back. Was she really that bad? Lydia didn't think so, besides, Resh was the one who should be compromising for her. And who was Brelyna to try and tell him how to deal with her? It was none of that stupid Elf's business to try and tell Resh what to do, that was her job.

What infuriated her even more was that she only had one half of the conversation, if this was what her 'friend' had said she could only imagine what Resh had been telling her to get this kind of response. Needless to say it was most likely either lies or an exaggeration to garner this kind of reaction.

Speaking of Resh, where was he? it had been way too long for his absence to be nothing short of serious. Either he was doing something important or he had died, he'd better be dead because if he was still alive Lydia would kill him herself, she still hadn't had her backrub yet.

Kayci POV

She never thought she'd ever say it but there was actually something more boring than waiting around for Brelyna to get back after every College tutorial. It was listening to her go on about that damn expedition to Saarthal. She got it, they killed a few draugr, who cares? it's nothing they hadn't done before.

But for some reason this was so much more important, and the Dunmer could shut up about it. Sometimes the sheer volume of dull nonsense about the excavation made her want to send away woman again. It's not like she was even talking about the interesting parts either, Brelyna had just spent the last hour talking about burial jars.

If only she could do more than just walk, that way Kayci could just sprint out of the College to get a few moments of peace, because if she heard one more word about Nord carvings she would snap. And when a Tsaesci snapped, they snapped hard, she wasn't sure what she'd do.

"-some are saying that the spiral carvings are as if to show the cyclical nature of life but in my personal opinion I think it's more likely to do with th-" Brelyna was cut off mid-speak by an extremely irritated sounding Kayci, which was strange as to the best of her knowledge Kayci loved hearing about her trip.

"What can I say or do that will end this conversation right now?" she blurted out impatiently, not caring at the slightly offended look the Elf displayed.

She stared in silence for a few moments before thinking of something and smirking as she realised how well the situation panned out for her, "How about you tell me what you and Resh have been so secretive about all this time I've known you?"

"Done!" Kayci shouted immediately, making Brelyna blink back in shock, not the reaction she was expecting to come from the woman, "Anything to make you stop talking about those fucking jars you're obsessed with."

Brelyna suppressed a glare of indignance, they were urns not jars! "Really? just like that you're willing to tell me this thing you've been keeping from me since we met?"

"Of course, I don't give a fuck if you know or not. Of course I'd be pissed off and probably kill you if you left me because of it, but it's not really a secret. Well… actually it is, but I guess I'm allowed to tell you, the only reason I didn't was because Lydia didn't know and Resh was all paranoid about her finding out. Plus I wanted to see how you'd react to me just miraculously healing," Kayci laughed, surprising the Elf even further than before, Kayci seemed like she honestly didn't care about this secret and that it was an irrelevant detail.

It almost made Brelyna wonder if she should have asked for something better if Kayci didn't mind giving up the details at all, it was probably boring to get this lack of secrecy. Unfortunately she had already asked, and it's not like it was something she could go back on her word on either so she might as well listen to what she had to say.

"I knew didn't just 'get better'," Brelyna muttered, annoyed she hadn't questioned her further back then, "And also, I'd never leave you over something so trivial as a little secret, I'm sure whatever it is I'll be completely fine with, especially as you don't seem bothered by having to tell me."

Kayci grinned, "I'm glad you think that. I hope you're telling the truth," it was then, without any warning, the Nord's skin changed and her body distorted it a more snake like appearance, "Because I think I look much sexier like this."

Judging from the Dark Elf's expression Brelyna did not agree, in fact, the muffled scream she let out would most likely imply the opposite. Kayci sighed, wondering if this was a similar reaction Resh got. In fact, his was probably worse, Resh was far larger in his Tsaesci size than human one, whereas Kayci was barely an inch taller than her disguise. Also Lydia was a Nord so was probably rather narrow minded, whereas she was sure Brelyna being a Dunmer would be a little less racist.

She didn't have much time to think about it before the blow to the head came. Kayci couldn't believe it, but Brelyna had just hit her, so hard that if she wasn't a Tsaesci it probably would've hurt quite a lot.

Kayci probably should have been angered by this, and how Brelyna had technically tried to assault her, but instead she started laughing, this wasn't exactly what she was hoping for so she probably should have thought it through.

Brelyna didn't seem pleased by the laughing so struck again, although this time it was with magic rather than fists, doing considerably more damage and stunning the Tsaesci who hadn't expected her to attack her again, "What are you and what have you done with Kayce?!" Brelyna shouted at her as she released more lightning, not even giving her an opportunity to reply.

Looking back on it, revealing it this way was a really bad idea, especially to someone who knew magic, it would appear that Brelyna didn't believe it was her, which although being a very valid assumption wasn't particularly good for the Tsaesci as she the pain in her muscles spike up again.

The shock magic wasn't even that powerful either, it was just the repeated use of it that made it really painful. Needless to say Kayci was glad the Halls they were currently in was going to be empty for the next few hours, she couldn't imagine what it'd be like if there were more mages doing this to her.

Kayci could definitely understand Brelyna's sudden reaction, if she thought someone had done something to her lover and masqueraded as them she too would be very pissed off. Unfortunately she had little time to dwell on it though as she eventually stopped struggling passed out.

I know I'm making Lydia really harsh and cruel in this, but before you complain, I'm not suggesting all pregnant women are like that, just Lydia, as I've already established hormones are very serious for her.
