Kira's P.O.V.

I woke up with a start. "What?" I said, sitting up. Apparently I had fallen over while I slept. Itachi was standing up with his hand on the back of the chair he had been sitting in. I must have woken up when he pushed it in. "Oh, I was about to wake you up. We've been here for a few hours, Kakuzu should have simmered down by now." He said. "Yeah, I'm sure Ana is missing you now."I said, putting the third book on the shelf between the fourth and second. "I was actually coming to look for you two." We heard. We both turned and looked to see Ana leaning against the book case with a book under her arm. I noticed her stomach was slightly bulging. "Is my niece or nephew kicking yet?" I asked. She stared at me. "One more week." She said.

"Oh… What you reading?" I asked and snatched the book. I stared at the cover. "A… Body operations book? EWWWW!" I said, giving the book back to my sister and hiding behind my soon-to-be-brother-in-law. "Why do you need that? I don't think there's anything about my problem in there." He said. "Well, I was actually looking through the diseases chapter, and I actually did find it." She said and set the book on the table and opened it to the page she marked with a gold chocolate bar wrapper. She pointed to blue bolded and italicized words.

"Erydiad y galon. Erydiad y galon is a disease that eats away at the heart slowly and very painfully. It is caused by bites from giant leach birds, only found on an abandoned island northwest from the land of waves, and over use of a Kekkei Genkai." Ana read out loud. I stared at her in confusion. Itachi was confused as much as I was. "Erydiad y Galon? That's not Romanian, German, or Swahili." I said. Ana shook her head.

"It's Welsh. It literally means Heart Erosion." She said. The blow hit Itachi so hard I felt it. His face held a shocked look as he stared at the page. I thought he was going to cry. He sat down and continued to stare. "Heart… Erosion?... My heart… is eroding away slowly?" He whispered, shocked. Ana rested her head on his and kissed his temple. "It's going to be okay, Itachi, I'll make the cure." She said. His hand flew out and touched four words written on the page.

There is no cure.

Incurable? That can't be possible. There has to be something! What? I ain't going to lose my brother in law before he became my brother in law! And what would happen to Ana and the baby if there wasn't a husband and father around? Sure, we'd all help, but it took Ana two years to get her shit together after they left, she was able to over come it because she knew he was coming back. But what was going to happen when she knew he wasn't coming back? I loved my sister, and I've seen what happens to her when she loses someone she loves. The year before the Akatsuki fell in to our lives, Ana was dating a very funny guy named Raymond. He ended up leaving early for college. She was crushed. She sat on her ankles in the corner of her room and didn't do anything at all. I hated seeing her like that. It hurt me to see her so… broken. She was like that for two years after they left, too. I almost didn't want to go to college and leave her behind.

"I'll find a cure. I promise I will find a cure or die trying." She said. "And I'll help!" I said. Both turned to me. "Don't look so surprised. We're a family. And family helps and protects each other. No matter what has to be done." I smiled at Itachi. "At least, that's what you taught me." I said. "Me?" Asked Itachi. I nodded. "Ana's not the only one who knows your story, we all do. Ana, Miranda, Shay and I are the only ones who really saw the lesson in it." I said. Itachi smirked. "And I think only Kira, Miranda and I are the ones who actually took that lesson to heart." Ana said. I smiled and nodded in agreement.

"On that cheerful note, let's go find things together!" I said and dragged them out of the library. I pulled them through three empty rooms before I started smacking my head on the wall. "Uuuuuuggggggghhhhhh this entire large space and nothing in it!" I said. "Wait, do you hear that?" Ana asked. "What?" I asked. "Shh." She said and we listened. We heard the sound of a piano drifting through the halls. It was a familiar song. A Celtic Thunder song. This is the Moment! My favorite. We crept up to a slightly open door and peaked in and watched as the person behind the piano began to play and the one playing began to sing.

"This is the moment. This is the day.
When I send all my doubts and demons on their way.
Every endeavor, I have made ever.
Is coming in to play. Is here and now today.
This is the moment. This is the time.
When the momentum and the moment are in rhyme.
Give me this moment, this precious chance.
I'll gather up my past, and make some sense at last.
This is the moment, when all I've done.
All of the dreaming, scheming and screaming become one.
This is the day, see it sparkle and shine!
When all I've lived for becomes mine.

For all these years, I've faced the world alone,
and now the time has come to prove to them
I made it on my own.
This is the moment. My final test.
Destiny beckoned, I never reckoned second best.
I won't look down, I must not fall.
This is the moment, the sweetest moment of them all!
This is the moment. Damn all the odds!
This day or never, I'll sit forever with the gods.
When I look back, I will always recall.
Moment for Moment,
This was the moment,
The greatest moment of them all!"

He held to the last second of the finishing note that was at least half a minute long. The three of us, now in the room, applauded. Hidan turned and stared at us in shock. "You dance, you sing, and you can play piano! It's like Jashin himself put us together in heaven!" I said and skipped up to the large concert piano and slid in next to my love. "I never knew you could play, Hidan." Ana said as she walked up to the piano with Itachi. Hidan shrugged. "My parents wanted me to be trained in something other than fighting incase my dad came home drunk and I ended up with out legs like my sister. So, I decided I would play piano." He said. Ana and I stared.

"You have a sister?" We asked in unison. "Yeah" He said. (A/N: No. he doesn't I needed and excuse and this is what I came up with.) "Or I used to." He said. "What happened?" I asked, resting my head on his shoulder. "House fire. Dad's gone, Mom's gone, Katoka's gone." He said. I kissed his cheek. Katoka must have been his sister. I'd remember that for when our child came along. If I was pregnant like I suspected… nah, my period was last week so I think I'm fine.

I nuzzled my face in his neck and kissed his chin. "And you still play for your sister? That's so sweet." I said, tears pricking at my eyes from the sweetness. Oh, Jashin, what's happening to me? Wait… I'm always like this a week after my monthly "friend" happens. I get very emotional. Eh, oh well. It'll pass, always does.

Hidan wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my forehead. I noticed he had tears filling his eyes, I wondered if he was feeling what Naruto felt when he thought about Ayu. Hey, I just realized that If Ana was Ayu's reincarnation and Ana's my sister and Ayu's Naruto's sister, then I guess that makes me and Naruto kinda like brother and sister. Well, I guess I'm his step sister in a sense. Ha, logic. "Hey, I want to try something, move you two! On the dance floor!" Ana said and shoved Hidan and I off the bench. "What are you doing?" I asked. She just grinned and her fingers danced across the piano keys. We all recognized the rhythm of Faithfully by Journey. Itachi sang instead of Ana. Hidan wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and we danced together as my sister and brother in law to be made music.

"Highway run, into the midnight sun.
Wheels go round and round, you're on my mind.
Restless hearts sleep alone tonight. Sending all my love
along the wire. They say the road ain't no place to
start a family. Right down the line it's been you and me.
And loving a music man ain't always what it's supposed to be.
Oh, girl, you stand by me. I'm forever yours.
Faithfully.

Circus life. Under the big top world.
We all need clowns to make us smile.
Through space and time. Always another show.
Wondering where I am, lost with out you. And
being apart ain't easy on this love affair.
Two strangers learn to love again. I get the joy
of rediscovering you. Oh, girl, you stand by me.
I'm forever yours.
Faithfully.

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
Faithfully.
I'm still yours.
I'm forever yours.
Ever yours.
Faithfully."

Hidan had begun lip syncing with Itachi around the second verse. I smiled at him as he rested his head against mine. His eyes were half closed and he had a playful smirk on his face. He pressed his lips against mine and held me tightly in a warm and protective, yet loving and gentle kiss. At that moment, I knew that as long as Hidan's arms were around me, as long as he was above ground, I would always be safe. I knew that I needed and wanted him to feel the same for me. I had training to do. And a lot of it. But for now, I wanted to be trapped in his arms.

Ana's P.O.V.

I sighed softly as Itachi and I watched Hidan and Kira kiss. It was so sweet that my teeth were hurting a little bit. Itachi kissed my head. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked over my shoulder and found Konan looking a little nervous. "Ana, I need your help with something." She said. "Did Tabetha flood the basement with her "magic trick" again? I told her that water tricks stay outside!" I said. "No, Tabetha didn't do anything this time." She said and motioned me to follow her out. "I'll be right back. Watch them and make sure the keep it clean." I said to Itachi. "We heard that, Ana!" Kira said, breaking away from Hidan. I ignored her and kissed Itachi's head.

Konan led me all the way back to my lab. I wondered if Tobi had broken in and destroyed something. If it was important I would so shove a scythe up his ass, put three burning arrows in him, cleave him down the middle with a broad sword, drop an anvil on him, and throw him in to my lava temple. Bwahahahahahahahahahahahah! Oh, wait, Pein wouldn't let me build that. Damn, fine, I'd throw him in the pool with the anvil on him until he drowned. Bwahahah. "Okay, what was broken, who broke it and how should I kill them?" I asked her. "What?" she asked. "You led me all the way back to my lab and you were nervous the whole way. So I assumed someone broke some thing in my lab." I said. She shook her head.

"Ana, I think I'm pregnant." She said.

And next thing I knew everything was black.

CLIFFY! Yup! I'm gonna be leaving you hanging for another month or two before you find out if Konan is pregnant or not! Ain't I a stinker? Nah, I'm just psyching y'all out. Keep reading on guys.

"Ana?" Konan's voice broke through the darkness. "What?" I said, sitting up and rubbing my eyes. "I told you that I thought I was pregnant and you past out." She explained. "Oh, when did you come to this conclusion?" I asked. "Well, I kinda missed my period… two months in a row…" she said. "I meant telling me about it, but that works, too." I said. "Oh, well, I thought I'd come to you because you know all the signs…" She said. I sighed. "Ayu, help. Well, remember how I told you that when a baby reaches a certain stage, you could sense its chakra? Um, yes? You can't do that with Konan, yet. Oh… But, you can do an echolocation type jutsu to find out. Tell me what I'm doing." I thought wit Ayu. Konan watched me intently. "Have you been throwing up every morning? Can't eat or smell fish with out getting sick?" I asked. She nodded. "Cravings of any sort?" I asked. She scratched the back of her head. "Just, anything that has to do with potatoes and steak sauce." She said. I stared at her.

"Okay, on to the next half of this test." I said. I grabbed Konan's hands and focused on our chakra patterns. I fused my chakra with hers and Ayu went to discover what we wondered. "Ana…" She said and I nodded. I sighed. "Do you want to tell him or should I?" I asked Konan, keeping my eyes closed until Ayu was all the way back in me. I felt her shift uncomfortably. "H-how long along am I?" She asked. "Two months exactly." I said, opening my eyes and seeing her stressed face. Our eyes held for a moment, then she buried her face in my lap and started to cry. "What am I gonna do?" She cried. This shocked me. I would have expected her to be nervous, mad, even. But crying? I never thought I would ever see Konan cry.

I hesitantly put my hand on her head. I pulled her up on to the couch with me. She buried her face in my shoulder. "Konan, why are you crying?" I asked. "I know he'll leave me!" She cried. "Not if he truly loves you." I said. "Will you come with me?" She asked. I nodded. "I'll be with you every step of the way, I promise." I said. We stood up and marched to Pein's office. She made me stay behind her the whole way. We stepped in. Pein looked like he had just had another argument with the so-called "leader" of the Akatsuki. "Nagato? I-I need to talk to you." Konan said. "Nagato? Oh, that can't be good." Said the masked man that I didn't know what to call anymore. Konan looked at me. "Ooh, can I?" I asked. She nodded. I grabbed the masked man by his neck and threw him out of the office. Literally. "You ain't welcome on this conversation!" I shut the door and happily sat by Konan. "I always wanted to do that." I said.

Pein moved around his desk and kneeled in front of Konan. Konan had her head down and playing with her thumbs. He wrapped his hands gently around hers. "Konan, what happened? What's wrong?" He asked. She bit her lip and looked at me. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and nodded. She nodded and took a deep breath. "Promise you won't leave me." She said. He kissed her hands. "Not even if I was dying." He said. She glanced at me again and I sent her a reassuring smile. "Please, god, Jashin, Kami, any deity that will answer, don't let him leave her. Let him be as happy as Itachi was when I told him about my pregnancy." I prayed. "Nagato, I'm pregnant." Konan said. Pein toppled over, unconscious. I caught him and pointed to a cup of water on his desk. "Quick! Hand me that water!" I said. Konan grabbed the cup and handed it to me and I took a gulp of it. "Ah." I said, handing the cup back to her and slapping Pein. He jumped awake.

"Konan, I had the strangest dream. You were pregnant." He said. "What a coincidence, that's happening in real life, too!" I said. He nearly passed out again. "So… I'm a daddy?" He asked, looking at Konan. She nodded. He scooped her in to a huge hug. "I'm gonna be a daddy!" He said with a happy laugh. "You were worried for nothing!" I told Konan as Pein kissed her all over her face. I rolled my eyes. "Gosh, Pein, cheer up, it's a baby for shit's sake." I said sarcastically. They laughed and I left the office.

Later that night, as we were all eating dinner together, Konan and Pein walked in late, on purpose and I reached for the umbrella by my ankle. "Everyone, we have something we want to tell all of you." Konan said. Itachi swallowed his food, in case of choking. I prepared myself as Kira began to sip on her soda. "I'm pregnant." She said. Everyone froze. "What does that mean?" Tabetha asked, turning to me. I stared at her. "It means I'm having a baby." Konan said. Cue me opening umbrella as Kira spit out soda, Kakuzu spit out scorching hot tea, Kisame fainted, Amanda spit out coffee, Tobi passed out, Brianna threw up, Zetsu chocked on his stake, and everyone else either coughed out potatoes or passed out. I sighed. Cleaning up this would be hell.

And that wraps up this chapter of EA2SWS. See y'all next time! Reviews mean babies! XD
