The rest of the trip to Lebanon was uneventful. Lily returned to her spot next to Dean and kept some form of body contact until they reached their destination. Dean parked and let out a sigh.

"This is it."

"This?" Lily looked around. She saw a large, likely abandoned structure, and a door in the side of a hill. "What is this?"

"You'll see," he said as he got out of the car.

A grin was plastered to his face. Everyone was out of the cars, and Dean was ready to get inside.

"Leave the bags. We'll come back for them later."

Dean pulled a key from his pocket and headed for the door in the hill.

"You're taking me to a hobbit hole?" Lily asked sarcastically.

Sam laughed. "Not quite."

Dean unlocked the door and let
Lily walk in. The place was dark, and she couldn't really see anything inside. Then Dean flipped a few switches. The sight before her almost made her take a step back.

"Woah..." she whispered.

Dean smiled and took her hand. "Come on."

He led her down a staircase and into a large library. Deep wood shelves and tables made the place feel upper class.

"What is this?"

"This, sweetheart, is the Men of Letters bunker... and it belongs to me and Sam."

"What are Men of Letters?"

"Alright," Dean said, "let's sit down and I'll tell you everything. Then we'll take a tour... at least of the areas Sam and I have seen."

The four sat down at one of the library tables. Sam and Kevin sat on one side. Dean and Lily sat on the other.

"Remember, I called and said we got caught up in some crazy crap?"

"Yeah, I remember."

"Well, the crazy started when some guy came tumbling out of our motel closet... asking about our dad."

"John? Why?"

"Oh, hang on. The crazy keeps comin'."

"Yeah," Sam said, "we barely got anything out of him, when a woman came out of the closet, covered in blood."

"We realized real quick she was possessed," Dean said. "I managed to stab her with the knife... it just pissed her off."

"What kind of demon survives that knife?" Lily asked.

"A knight of Hell," Sam said. "One of the first demons Lucifer created. Extremely powerful."

"The guy that popped out of our closet used a blood spell to travel from the fifties to find dad."

"Why John?"

"Because the guy was Henry Winchester... our grandfather."

Lily's eyes went wide. "No way."

"Yeah," Sam said. "He belonged to a group called the Men of Letters. They built this place, collected information and artifacts... anything involving the supernatural world. A long line of Winchesters were a part of it. On the night of Henry's official initiation, the demon attacked, looking for the key to this place. Henry traveled to find dad so he could escape and get the key into safe hands... Dad was supposed to be a Man of Letters."

"Right," Dean said, "but Henry disappeared, and dad never knew anything about it."

"So," Lily said, "you two should have been a part of this group, too."

"That's right," Dean said. "Henry helped us stop the demon. He gave us the key, we got the coordinates, and here we are."

"And this place is protected against every evil thing you could imagine," Sam said.

"Which is why you're here," Dean said looking to Lily and Kevin. "Crowley got to both of you once. We've been lucky to avoid him this long, but as we get closer to actually slamming those gates shut, that luck's gonna run out. Lily, your cabin is pretty safe, but this place is safer."

"You want me and Kevin to stay here now," she said.

"Yeah, I do. It's a great command center. Kevin will have more material to do research than we ever imagined, and you'll all be safe."

"Well," Lily said, "if I'm gonna be living here, I'll need a tour."

Dean smiled and kissed her. "I love you, babe."

Lily and Kevin followed Sam and Dean as they showed off what they already discovered in the building: the library, a full kitchen, showers.

"And finally," Dean said as he grinned at Lily, "the sleeping quarters."

Sam rolled his eyes and put a hand on Kevin's shoulder. "Come on, Kevin. I'll show you your room."

"Follow me," Dean said taking Lily's hand.

They walked into one of the bedrooms, and Lily saw it had basic furniture. Old, but nice.

"The mattress is old," Dean said. "I ordered a new one. I should have it here tomorrow. We'll use sleeping bags tonight. Don't think I wanna sleep on a dead man's mattress."

"I doubt any dead men were on it."

"Still, it's been down here for decades, untouched. There's gotta be something nasty in there."

"Alright," Lily said with a sigh. "Sleeping bags."

"Uhhh... sleeping bag, just one for us."

"You have a double?"

"Nope," Dean said as he wrapped his arms around Lily's waist.

Lily gave him a big, bright smile. "You wanna cuddle?"

"Always."

"You know," she said, "pretty soon I'll be too big to squeeze into a one-man sleeping bag with you. Think you'll be okay with that?"

"You mean with your body changing because you're pregnant?"

"Yeah."

Dean stared down at her with lust-filled eyes. "You just wait until you're six, seven months pregnant... see how often you have to fight me off."

Dean softly kissed her lips, gently pulling her button lip between his. Lily let out a groan and kissed him hard. After a moment, she pulled away.

"Dean, I'm not making love in a sleeping bag on the floor."

"Bummer," he said with a cocky grin. His smile faded a little as he ran a hand through her hair. "Thank you for agreeing to stay here. It'll be one less thing I have to worry about."

"I know what you have on your plate, Dean. The last thing I wanna do is add to your stress... or mine. I definitely don't wanna fight."

Dean kissed her again, letting it linger for a while. He pulled back, releasing her from his arms, and took her hand.

"Come on," he said, "let's go find Sam and Kevin."

They checked Kevin's bedroom first, but they weren't there. They both agreed the two were probably back in the library. That's where they found them. Dean rolled his eyes.

"Come on, you two, can't you take a break for one night? Let's play some poker, drink some beer... Have a little fun?"

"No beer for me," Lily said with a smile, "but I could play poker."

"That's my girl," Dean said. "Sam? Kev?"

Sam shrugged his shoulders. "Sure. Why not?"

Dean looked to Kevin. Kevin looked as if he wanted to decline, but he agreed.

"Awesome," Dean said. "The cards are in my bag. Sam, grab Lily's keys so we can get everybody's bags from the cars."

A few minutes later they were sitting down to play. Sam smiled at Lily.

"I don't usually like beating women at stuff, but don't expect me to hold back."

"Woah!" Dean said. "Trash talk."

"Bring it, big boy," Lily laughed.

"Ummm, Sam," Dean started.

"No, no, Dean... it's okay," Lily said.

"I really think-"

"Dean... it's okay."

Dean smiled and shook his head. Sam was soon eating his words as Lily beat him in hand after hand.

"You're a card shark," Sam said. He didn't hide his surprise. His eyes shot to Dean when he heard his brother laugh. "And you knew."

"Hey, I tried to warn you."

"Dean's known my skills for years," Lily said, "ever since he challenged me to a game of strip poker."

"The one and only time," Dean said. "I literally lost my shirt... and my pants, and my-"

"We get it, Dean," Sam interrupted.

"On that note of too much information," Kevin said, "I'm going to bed."

"Come on, Kev," Dean protested. "It's still early."

"And I'd like to get up early to work. I need sleep. Goodnight everybody."

They all said goodnight, and Sam stretched in his chair.

"I hate to say it..." Sam started.

"Aw, man," Dean whined. "Not you, too?"

"Yeah. I'm tired, and I'd like to help Kevin a little while we're still here. 'Nite, you two."

"Goodnight, Sam," Lily called out as he walked toward the sleeping quarters.

Dean stared after his brother, and smiled. "Bitch," he said flatly.

Sam slowly turned around, shaking his head. He let out a scoff, then turned back toward the sleeping quarters. He called out over his shoulder, his tone matching Dean's.

"Jerk."
