3rd person P.O.V
Itachi sat outside the delivery room, listening to the screams of pain from Ana. Sakura and Hinata had refused to let him in. They only allowed in the two that were going to learn from this, Brianna and Nyisha. Brianna passed out so she was replaced by Amanda the other day. Itachi had been sitting in that same spot for three days now. He was really worried. What if something was going wrong? Was Ana dying? Were the babies dying? What was going to happen? Itachi was freaking out and he refused to move until he saw his wife and babies healthy and safe.
Kira knelt right in front of her brother in law. "Don't worry, I'm sure every thing is fine." She said, failing to mask her own worry. He pulled her in to a hug, taking her by surprise. Itachi had never hugged anyone other than Sasuke and Ana, so Kira had no idea what to do other than hug him back. Ana let out another scream of pain. She just wanted this over with. She wanted her children in her arms. She wanted to hear Itachi coo at them with love. She wanted to walk around the base with her little bundles of joy in her arms and giggling at aunt Nyisha, aunt Kira and aunt Brianna. "Crysta… Ren… please, come in to the world already… Stop hurting mommy… It doesn't matter who comes first, just please, please come already." She begged in her head.
Crysta heard her mother and finally came in to the world with Ren not too far behind her. Ana felt relived when the umbilical chord was cut and her children were put in her arms. She looked down at them both. They were crying at the entry to the cruel world. "Shhh. Shhh. It's okay. Mommy's here." Ana whispered. Her heart fluttered at the instant calming that her voice brought her children. She smiled as they calmed down. She looked at Crysta. She had fallen asleep right in Ana's arms. She looked so cute. "She looks like her mommy." Sakura said. Ana smiled at her. She looked over at Ren and gasped. "Well, look at that, He looks just like his daddy." She said. Hinata smiled and gently stroked Ren's cheek. The baby boy twitched and let out a small cry of unfamiliarity. "Shh, it's okay. It's just Auntie Hinata. You're okay." Ana said soothingly, calming Ren immediately. Sakura stepped out in the hall and motioned for Itachi to come in. Hinata gently held Crysta. When Itachi stepped in to the room, she gently handed Crysta to him.
"Crysta, m-meet y-your d-daddy." She said as Itachi's arms protectively curled around the little baby girl. A gentle smile broke out across Itachi's face and tears welled up in his eyes. "Hello, my little princess." He whispered to the baby in his arms. She let out a little gurgle of joy. Itachi smiled and a tear rolled down his cheek. "You're so beautiful. Just like you mommy." He said to the baby girl and kissed her forehead. Ana smiled as she watched her husband and her daughter together. In that instant, Ana fell in love with Itachi all over again. He was so gentle, holding the little baby in his arms. Sakura almost fell in love with him. Almost. Sakura wondered if Sasuke would be the same when a baby was put in his arms.
Itachi came over to Ana and kissed her on the head. The baby boy in her arms gurgled like his sister. A grin burst across Itachi's face as he saw his son. "Ren, time to meet daddy." Ana cooed at the little boy. Sakura took Crysta from Itachi's arms. Itachi reluctantly handed her over. Ana immediately put the little boy in Itachi's arms and he started to cry all over again. "Hello there, little man. It's good to finally see you." He said and kissed the little boys head. Ren gurgled happily, causing Crysta to do the same. Ana grinned as their baby girl was put back in her arms. "Think they'll end up like their mother and aunts?" She asked. "Mother, yes, Aunts, I sure hope not." Itachi said and kissed his wife gently on the lips.
It took about a week for Ana to heal enough to walk on her feet again. Deidara and Itachi offered to take Sakura and Hinata back to Konoha, but the two women refused to leave until they knew Ana was fine and on her feet and back up to full speed again. The men gave up with a sigh. Kira, Hidan, Deidara, Miranda, and Sakura helped make an opening from Itachi and Ana's room in to Crysta and Ren's room. In other words, Sakura punched a door shaped whole in the wall and Miranda and Kira put in the door. After that, they all painted the room blue and red. Ana didn't believe that baby girls should be raised in a pink room. As soon as everything was finished and the walls were 100% dry and fume free, the baby cradles were put in and then the babies.
Itachi looked over at Ana after Ren was asleep in his cradle. She was calming a fussy Crysta and singing Glory of Love to her by Peter Cetera. Crysta finally fell asleep and Ana gently laid the baby girl in her cradle. She sighed as Itachi wrapped his arms around her now small again body. "Either you have a magic touch or Ren is just calmer than Crysta." She said quietly. He smirked. "I think I'm willing to bet the second one." He said as they watched the baby girl sleep. "Great. Ren is going to grow up as collected and calm as you while Crysta is going to be just as insane as Aunt Kira." Ana said. "Hm, well, how about we go back to our room and I'll show you how crazy that calm and collected guys like me can be." Itachi said and kissed her neck. He felt her blush. She turned and kissed him firmly on the lips. His arms wrapped around her and he lifted her up by the hips. Her legs wrapped around his waist. He turned and walked in to their room and laid her on the bed.
From the next room, Crysta woke up and began to cry. The couple stopped what they were doing. Ana sighed and sat up. Itachi gently grabbed her shoulder. "Go to sleep, Ana. I'll take care of it." He said and kissed his wife good night. With a sigh, Ana slipped under the covers and waited for Itachi to calm his daughter down before he came back to cuddle with her. Ana was about to fall asleep waiting for her husband when Sakura came bursting in to the room.
"Ana! Hinata's going in to labor!" She said.
Ana's P.O.V.
I was instantly awake and out of bed. "That was a short waiting period." I said as I ran with Sakura to the delivery room. Brianna, Amanda and Nyisha were there with her. "Ana, I need you to hold her hand." Sakura said. "On it." I said. I dropped to my knees next to Hinata and grabbed her hand. "A-Ana…" Hinata gasped. "Don't worry, Hinata. I'm here." I said as she squeezed my hand. I helped Hinata breath easier. "Ana…" Hinata gasped again. "I-I d-don't kn-know i-if I-I c-can..." She gasped. "Don't worry Hinata, you'll get through this." I said. She squeezed my hand harder. There was a faint popping sound from my hand, but I didn't care. All I cared about was getting my hopefully soon to be sister in law through this.
"Hinata, push!" Sakura said. Hinata began to push the baby in to the world. I won't go in to detail of the child birth, just like I didn't with my experience. I will tell you this, though. Hinata's experience was much quicker than mine. Brining twins in to the world took me three days. Bringing one child in to the world took 28 hours for Hinata. When the little boy was brought in to the world. When Hinata was calm enough to hold her son, I put him in her arms. "H-he looks l-like N-Naruto." Hinata said. I nodded. The baby boy began to cry. No matter what Hinata tried, he wouldn't calm. Then and idea came to me.
I mean why not? It soothed his daddy when he was a baby. I hopped up from my spot and went to the small dresser in mine and Itachi's room. I searched for a bit, then I found it. I smiled when I picked up the little toy drum that Minato- Dad- had gotten for Naruto when he was a baby. Not one the baby would hit, just one that you twirled and two little beads on a string on both sides of the drum would hit the drum. Naruto loved it when he was a baby. I walked back in to the delivery room where Hinata was still trying to calm the little baby. "Try this." I said and twisted my wrist to make the beads hit the drum.
The baby stopped crying and fussing to look at the toy in my hand. I was shocked to see little lavender eyes in place of blue ones as the baby boy stared at the toy. Then he smiled at it. He soon fell asleep in Hinata's arms. "H-how d-did y-you kn-know that w-would work?" Hinata asked. I smiled. "Well, before Naruto was born, Dad got this for him. When he made a fuss while the village was being attacked, mom grabbed it and began to play with it and it calmed him right down, so I thought if it worked on his daddy, why wouldn't it work on him?" I said. I handed the toy to Hinata. "I had Kira grab it while she, Hidan, Kakuzu and Nyisha were there in Konoha." I said. "H-how d-did she kn-know wh-where t-to find it?" Hinata asked. "I told her. Mom kinda came to me in a dream and told me where it was, then I told Kira and she got it for me. I think it's time it went back to the family it was meant for." I said.
"A-Ana. I-I'm s-sorry." Hinata said. "Hm?" I asked. "I-I know y-you h-have y-your o-own ch-children t-to take c-care o-of, b-but I-I d-don't th-think I-I'm r-ready t-to t-take c-care o-of h-him." She said. "B-but, I-I d–don't want t-to g-get r-rid o-of h-him." Hinata looked at the little baby in her arms. I gently held her arm and kissed her on the cheek. "Don't worry, I'll take care of him, I promise. When the time is right, I will return him to you." I promised. She smiled at me and began to cry. I panicked a little bit. "Hinata! What's wrong?" I asked, standing a little bit. "I-its o-okay, Ana. I-I'm f-fine. I-it's j-just…" She started. "What?" I asked. "W-would th-this c-count a-as ab-abandonment?" She asked, looking at the baby boy in her arms.
I wrapped an arm around her. "No, think of it as long term babysitting. I watch your son while you and baby's daddy have a really long date night." I said. She looked up at me. "Back home, I kinda did that a lot for my half sister. She'd leave her boys under my watch for up to three weeks in the summer while she and her husband did whatever." I said. She smiled and giggled at my story. I smiled at her and pulled up a chair next to her. I noticed for the first time that it was only the three of us in the room, Me, Hinata and the baby. Hinata stared down at her unnamed son. "Wh-what sh-should I n-name him?" She asked. She looked up at me and I stared back.
"Wha- you want me to name him?" I asked. She shrugged. "M-maybe suggest s-some names." She said. I stared at the little boy in her arms. I tried to think of good names to call him. Even translating some animal names in to the Japanese language that might fit the little boy in the future. "Maybe Kuma, Hyo, Kasai or…" I thought hard. Then it hit me. "Why not name him after his daddy's hero? He looks just like him." I said. Hinata stared at me expectantly. "Minato." I said. Hinata stared down at her son. "Minato… a-after th-the F-fourth H-Hokage?" She asked. I nodded. She thought about it and smiled. "I-I like i-it. H-hello, Minato." She said to the baby. A smile burst across my face. "Welcome to the family, Minato." I said and stroked his cheek.
Another two weeks past and Sakura and Hinata found it was time for them to leave. Deidara and Miranda sat on a clay bird, waiting to fly the two young women home. Itachi held the twins while Ana held Minato. Hinata kissed her son good bye. "We'll m-meet a-again, Minato-kun. I-I love y-you." She stuttered. "Don't worry, Hinata, I'll protect him with my life." I promised her and hugged her. "Th-thank yo-you." She whispered to me. "Any time, Hina-chan." I whispered back. She hopped on the giant bird with Sakura. We waved to them as they flew away. Minato began to struggle in my arms. "Buuuuuuuuuu!" He cried. "Hey, your okay." I said and began to play with the drum, but the baby continued to struggle. Suddenly, the bird turned and came back. Hinata jumped off and ran back to me. "I-I c-can't do it! I-I h-have to t-take h-him with m-me!" She said. I smiled and put him in her arms and the drum in her hand. "Bye, bye, Baby Minato. Until we meet again." I said and kissed my nephew on the forehead. I took a fussy Crysta from Itachi so he could keep Ren from freaking out about his cousin's out burst.
We once again waved good bye to them. I sighed as I walked back in to the base with Itachi. I looked at the calendar on the wall and sighed. Things were getting to close. Even though I did not mention it, all married this month while Sakura and Hinata were here were Kira and Hidan, Shay and Sasori, and Miranda and Deidara. I stared at the calendar. There were only two days left in February. At the end of March, we'd be setting out for the battles between Sasuke and Deidara then Sasuke and Itachi at the very beginning of April. I sighed. This was going to kill me, I just knew it. I looked down at the baby girl in my arms. She looked back up at me. "You have your father's eyes." I said to her. She smiled at me and I heard the sound of a fart. "Hey, now! You don't poop yet!" I said. She giggled. "You wet your diaper, didn't you?" I asked. I sighed and walked over to the changing table in the kid's bed room. Itachi was watching Ren fall asleep.
"I got it, babe, don't worry." I said to him as I began to change Crysta's wet diaper. "Sheeeeesh, girl! Did you go surfing?" I asked. She giggled. "Just be glad she can't pee on your chest." Itachi said. I burst out laughing when I saw the giant wet spot on Itachi's chest. Crysta giggled with me. My husband rolled his eyes at me. "Go ahead and change and take a shower. I'll take care of these two." I said and kissed him. Crysta gurgled happily at us. I smiled at her. Itachi left the room to take a shower and I finished changing Crysta's diaper. "There, now you're all clean." I said, picking her up. She smiled at me and I began to rock her to sleep. I looked down at her after a bit. She stared up at me with careful eyes. I know she was just a baby, but her eyes told me she knew something. I sighed down at her.
"Well, Crysta. It looks like mommy has her own solo mission to go on. Be good for daddy and aunt Kira." I said to her. She looked ready to cry, so I started to sing "I'm With You" by Avril Lavigne. It was only a matter of time before my baby girl was sound asleep in my arms. I stared at the white streak in her hair and sighed. "Looks like we're all stuck with the lightning streak. If you can use lightning style jutsu when you grow up, I will laugh." I said and laid her down in her crib. Ren woke up then. "Huuuu… muuuu." He cooed from his crib. "Hey, Ren. You're okay." I said. He still was fussy. "You're hungry aren't you?" I asked as he was fussy. I looked around for the bottles, then remembered that Miranda and Deidara were out buying them. I sighed. "Looks like its nursing for you." I sighed. I walked back to mine and Itachi's room. I sat on my bed and pulled of my shirt and bra and began to nurse Ren.
Itachi chose that moment to walk out of the bathroom, a towel hanging loosely from his hips. I blushed and looked away, covering my nose as blood erupted from it, leaking out through my fingers. I felt Itachi smirk behind me as I wiped my blood covered hand on my sweats. Ren was falling asleep in my arms and my heart and mind was encouraging him to fall asleep. I heard Itachi chuckle behind me. He came and sat next to me, still only in a towel. My entire face heated up as his arm wrapped around my hip.
"Hm, looks good." He teased, my blush deepened. "Sh-shut up." I said. He laughed. "I just want some." He teased. "You're starting to sound like Hidan." I said. "You 'wanting some' started this, you know." I grumbled. He kissed my cheek and stroked Ren's cheek as he was finally asleep. I stood up and put Ren back in to his crib. As soon as I left my children asleep in their cribs and turned out the light for the night and stepped back in to the other room, Itachi pulled me in to his chest. I blushed when our bare skin touched. His skin was so soft and smooth.
"I love you." He murmured in my ear. "I love you." I said and wrapped my arms around him, holding up the towel. "Now go get dressed." I said and yanked off the towel and stepped back in to the children's room to watch my children sleep. I heard my husband sigh and move to get dressed. I wasn't embarrassed by his antics to get lucky, but I just had twins and was still healing from that and I really wasn't in the mood. I needed to focus on my top secret mission that not even Ayukazi With Kitty knows. (A/N: Son of a bitch Ana!) Hey, shut up, I'm plotting. (A/N: SA FIU DE CATEA!) Ahem, anyways. As soon as Itachi was finished dressing, I decided to go talk to Pein about my secret mission. (A/N: You tell him but not me. What. The. Fuck.) ANYWAYS. Pein refused to let me go.
"Damn it, Nagato!" I said. "Ana, you can't swear your way out of this one." He said. "Nagato, I have to do this! If I don't then-" I started, but the fucking carrot cut me off. "Then Tabby and Tobi will chase us in to a corner!" He said, renningan blazing. "Fucking damn it!" I yelled. "Nagato, if I don't go on this mission, Crysta and Ren will grow up with out a father, I know it!" I said. "No, Ana, they won't. You cured Itachi, he's safe." He said. "Not from his brother!" I yelled at him. "Damn it, Nagato, if I don't go-" I started. "If you don't go, Zetsu and Brianna won't have to deal with the fact that some one is missing from their wedding and we can prepared for the events coming. This conversation is over. Good night." Nagato said and opened the door. I glared at him and we just sat there like that for three minutes. I growled and stood. "Fuck you, Nagato." I said and left the office and storming in to my lab.
"FUCKING DAMN IT!" I yelled and kicked the couch, sending it shooting towards the far wall. I plopped down on the floor and did the breathing exercises I was taught in high school drama. I stared up at the ceiling. Maybe Nagato was right. Maybe it is best if I stay here with my family.
… My family…
My family was in danger of falling apart. And I was being expected to let it happen. But I couldn't let this happen. If Sasuke succeeds in killing Itachi, then let's face it. We're all fucked. I won't be able to recover from the shock of losing him. My kids would have to grow up faster than normal. I really in all honesty didn't want that to happen. I could already see the war going down. Everyone dying… Hidan being burned to death. Kira being stabbed by a tree branch in an attempt to save Neji. Naruto dying. Amanda and Kisame. Nyisha and Kakuzu. Shay and Sasori. Brianna and Zetsu. Miranda and Deidara. All dying to stop something that can't be prevented. Even Nagato and Konan…
No.
"I don't give a fuck." I said and stood up. "I don't give a fuck what you say, Nagato! I'm doing this. With or with out your support. I am not losing my family. I know you all can handle this with out me! Fuck what you think, Nagato. I'm doing this. Even if I have to do it alone." I said. I grabbed a small pull string bag out and silently crept back to my bedroom. Itachi was sound asleep on the bed. I pushed in three shirts and three pairs of shorts. I slipped some apples and bread in to the bag next. I once again crept back to my bedroom. Itachi and the kids were still sound asleep. I silently picked up a pencil and a piece of paper and wrote a note. After I finished the note, I glanced at Itachi. "I love you." I mouthed. I slipped in to the next room where my children slept peacefully, unaware that their mother was about to disappear in to the night. I kissed them both on the foreheads. "I love you both. Be good for daddy and auntie." I said and slipped out on to the balcony. I shut the glass doors quietly behind me. I looked back at my husband sleeping peacefully in bed, still waiting for his wife to cuddle up to him as he slept. I sighed and took a step back. "I'm sorry. I love you. Goodbye." I said and leapt over the rail of the balcony and dashed off in to the forest, hoping to find my target before they found theirs.

Meanwhile with Sasuke
Sasuke stirred in his sleep as he felt an active chakra pattern move closer. "Karin, if you come in here again I will leave you in a ditch fifty miles in the other fucking direction." He said. "BUT I LOVE YOU SASUKE-KUN!" the red-head Uzumaki cried. "GET OUT!" Sasuke yelled. "SHUT UP FUCKING DAMN IT!" Suigetsu yelled from his tent. Karin ran out of the tent, crying.
"Why the hell did I decide to bring her along? Because she's a medic ninja, but not nearly as good as Sakura. Why did you bring her? Shut up and fuck off inner me. Uhg, how can Juugo sleep through this?" Sasuke thought with his inner soul. "SASUKE-KUN!" Karin yelled, running in to his head. "Go away, damn it!" Sasuke said. "SHUT UP YOU TWO FUCKERS!" Suigetsu yelled. Karin shrunk back when Sasuke yelled at her. "I-I found this bird with a message for you." Karin said, holding out the owl to him. The owl flew onto Sasuke's knee. "Leave, Karin." He said. The red head left the raven haired boy's tent and went back to her own.
"What is your message?" He asked, only finding a paper on the owl's leg with his name on it. "Will you stop checking my body out, whoo?" The owl said. "Oh, you speak." Sasuke said. "My name is Fukuromaru. I am the messenger bird of Ana Ayu Uchiha. Or Ana as you know her, whoo." He said. "Ana Ayu Uchiha? Ana is no Uchiha." Sasuke said. "Well, that's a little bit of why I'm here, whoo. I have brought you news that Ana has married your brother, Itachi Uchiha, whoo." Fukuromaru said. "Is that all?" Sasuke asked. "No, I also was told to tell you…"
Meanwhile in Konoha. (A/N: Don't you hate me?)
"A baby?" Neji asked as he stared at the little cooing boy in his cousin's arms. "W-well, h-he w-was a-abandoned on the s-side of the r-road, a-and I-I couldn't j-just l-leave a p-poor d-defenseless b-baby o-on th-the road." Hinata said. "Did you try to find the parents?" Neji asked. Hinata nodded. "The people of the small town we passed through said his parents died and he didn't have any family left." Sakura explained. "S-so I-I decided t-to t-take c-care o-of him." Hinata said. "And why does he have your eyes and blond hair?" Neji asked, not believing the girls' story of the blond haired, lavender eyed baby boy. Hinata shrugged. "M-maybe h-his f-father w-was blonde a-and h-his mother h-had l-lavender eyes." She said. "And pupils?" The brunette boy asked. Hinata shrugged again. "H-Hyuga's c-can't b-be the o-only one w-with th-those k-kinds o-of eyes, Neji-san." She said.
"Well I think he's cute! Your so nice to just take and protect a baby you never even seen before, Hinata-chan! I'm sure where ever his parents are, they're happy. You're so sweet!" Naruto said, tickling the baby's tummy, making him giggle. "What's his name?" the blond boy asked. "W-well. N-no one i-in the t-town kn-knew h-his n-name, s-so I d-decided t-to call h-him, Minato." She said. "Minato. It fits. Hey there, baby Minato. You're so cute! You're probably going to grow up to be a great ninja, huh? I bet you'll be Hokage one day!" Naruto said. Hinata blushed at how much Naruto was gushing over her son. Neji, however, was not impressed, and neither was Hinata's father.
"Hinata, I am not going to allow you to take care of that baby." He said. Hinata looked up at her father. "F-Father! I-I will no-not g-give h-him up! H-How w-will he s-survive? N-no one i-in the v-village w-will a-adopt a r-random b-baby!" Hinata said. "That is not our problem." He said. Hinata bit her lip and fought back tears. She couldn't believe it. She and Minato hadn't been home for more than seven minutes and they were already being forced apart! Maybe she should have left the little boy in Ana's possession, at least he'd be safe there.
"Hey, Old Man Hyuga, hold up! That's not fair! This poor little guy is absolutely defenseless! You can't just throw out a little baby that never did anything to you!" Naruto said, turning to Hinata's father. "It's not fair for that little guy. What if he had been found by a freak or a pedophile and Hinata had just left him there? Wouldn't you want the kid to grow up like a proper shinobi?" Naruto asked, glaring down the Hyuga. Hiashi sighed. He didn't want to admit that Naruto had a point and the world could use a little more traditional and well mannered shinobi un like some. Cough, cough, Naruto and Kiba, cough, cough.
"Alright, fine. Hinata, you may keep the baby." He said. "Yay!" Naruto cheered. Hinata felt relived. "But you will have to raise him on your own. You won't receive any help from this house hold." Hiashi said and left his daughter with her two friends. Neji left with him. "Father knows." Hinata thought to herself. "Don't worry, Hinata-chan! I'll help you take care of baby Minato!" Naruto said. "Th-thank y-you, N-Naruto-kun." Hinata stuttered out. Sakura smiled. "Me, too. Just give a call if you need me." Sakura said. "Cha! This couldn't be anymore perfect! Naruto is helping take care of his own son with out even realizing it! Perfect way for him to fall in love with Hinata-chan!" Inner Sakura cheered. Hinata smiled as she, too, thought that this was a perfect opportunity. But not for her. She thought it was perfect for Minato to grow up with his father around. This was indeed perfect.
And that's when news was delivered that Sasuke had been seen.
OH, AIN'T I JUST A FUCKING STINKER?! So, what do you guys think of Fukuromaru? She's a pretty cool owl ain't she? What? You thought Fukuromaru was a boy? Ha! I JUST PULLED A DEIDARA ON YOU!

"If everything you've told me so far is true, why doubt you now?"
"Even though we don't like each other, we're equals from now on, okay?"
"HOLY SHIT IT'S A TALKING OWL!"
"Hey, guys, I'm back!"
"What the fuck were you thinking? You missed my wedding!"
"You deliberately went on this mission behind my back after I told you not to do it! Give me one damn good reason why I should not punish you."
