LLLLLLLLET'S PLAY! Whoops! Wrong website. MY BAD! Anyways, now, It's time to explain what the hell took me so damn long to post this. Well, if you couldn't tell by my opening, my addiction to Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunter has been re-kindled. I have started to notice that I am dressing like some of the guys and talking like Gavin. Seriously, I trip at school and I say "Bullocks."
Seriously guys… Call a doctor… I have a problem…
Also, I have been needing a bit of time to relax after the stressful as fuck play I have been in and I have also been (going back to my Achievement Hunter addiction) Have been building a little "Let's Play Minecraft" For the guys from Achievement Hunter to play if they select it. And I don't expect it to be finished until end May to mid-June, so don't start encouraging them (if you can) until then… It will confuse them… (whispers to any one with connections to Achievement Hunter: PM me.)
Moving on…
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Naruto. If I did, a LOT of shit wouldn't happen.
Kira's P.O.V.
Shay and I followed closely behind Konan, with Nagato, Sasori and Hidan close behind us. Shay and I began to slow down as we felt Jiraiya's chakra signal. I transformed to look like my sister. With a brief sigh from my lips, I directed everyone to where we would watch Jiraiya die. Was I happy about this? Hell to the no. Did I have to? Unfortunately. As Ana said. We can save some people, but not all of them. I was there to say good bye to him for Ana. I watched as the battle began. Ducking as a paper Kunai came at me. I wanted to yell "WATCH IT!" At Konan, but I didn't want to blow my cover just yet. It was all about timing. The goddess of spirit was all about timing. Which is kinda ironic if you knew me. I began to feel anxious as the battle picked up. All I could do was watch and wait for the right moment.
Brianna's P.O.V.
We all stood and stared at them. Sasuke, Karin, Suigetsu, and Juugo all stared back at us. Talk about a stand off. We just stood there staring at them, waiting for them to make a move. In one long Justin Beiber making awkward silence. Maybe a few more Sai's entered the world at that moment as we waited. I looked at Miranda, Miranda looked at Tabetha, Tabetha looked at Tobi, Tobi looked at Deidara, Deidara to Juugo, Juugo to Suigetsu, Suigetsu to Karin, Karin to Sasuke, and Sasuke to me. Then we all switched directions. Me to Sasuke, Sasuke to Karin, Karin to Suigetsu, Suigetsu to Juugo, Juugo to Deidara, etc. You get the picture. The silence seemed to grow thicker in the air. I swore it was about to rain Justin Beiber's and Sai's all over the fucking battlefield. Something had to happen to break the silence or someone would snap.
SPLAT.
"What the hell?!" Karin yelled as she pulled a splattered tomato from her face. "What? The silence was getting so awkward that something had to break it!" I said and closed the lunch bag. "By the way, Miranda, don't tell Ana I threw the last tomato at Karin." I said. "I think she'd only care if you missed." She replied. "Okay, can we just move on with our missions?" Sasuke said. "That's just it Sasuke, you are our mission." Miranda said. "What?" Sasuke asked. "We have to make sure you don't pass, yeah." Deidara said with a smirk on his face. Sasuke sighed. "Do we really have to fight? Can't we just go through with out fighting?" Sasuke asked. "You can, they have to leave." I said and pointed to the other three. "HUH?!" Karin said. "Sasuke has to face Itachi alone. You three have to turn around and go to a place where my little friend there must take you." Miranda pointed to a tree where a small falcon sat. "Farukon!" Miranda called and the falcon came and sat on her shoulder. "Agreed?" She asked them. "Hell n-" Karin yelled, but Sasuke cut her off. "Yes." He said. "WHAAA?!" Karin yelled. "Shut up, Karin. These girls are not people you want to fight. As for the guys, I don't want to fight them either. If these two girls say that I must fight my brother alone, then I must fight my brother alone." Sasuke said. "Go." Karin growled and looked ready to cry. This made me happy. "Alright, Farukon. You know where to go." Miranda said. "On it Mimi." Farukon said and flew off, Juugo, Suigetsu and Karin reluctantly following as Miranda screamed "YOU ASS HOLE WE DITCHED THAT NAME FIVE YEARS AGO!" I laughed at my friend's out burst. It was amazing how she had gone from silent friend to over reacting friend in only a few short years. "Alright let me through." Sasuke said.
"This is going to piss you off Sasuke, but even with those three gone, you have to fight Deidara and me." Miranda said. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Sasuke growled. "I told you it would piss you off. At least I gave a fair warning." Miranda replied as Tobi, Taby and I moved to the side to watch the fight between Sasuke and Miranda and Deidara. "Prove your worth, Uchiha, un. If you can not get past us, you will never face your brother, yeah!" Deidara said and the battle launched in to action. I felt the suspense building with every jutsu. Every punch. Every movement that made it seem like the anime story line was going to follow through. After endless hours, the fateful moment finally came to pass.
3rd person P.O.V.
~With the Retrieval Team.~
Everyone watched the woods around them carefully, wondering when the three ninja would appear. Fukuromaru was still with them and asleep on Naruto's head. They weren't near the half way point. Fukuromaru said she would wake up automatically at that point. None of them knew the little owl was really wide awake and alert and waiting for her key to leave. She felt the half way point coming, and she already felt that a big impact was coming that would not only damage the plan, but the rest of the world. A loss that would nearly drop the world in to the masked hands of the worst enemy the world carried.
Fukuromaru sat rigid on Naruto's head, as silent as a cheetah before a strike. Her eyes were slightly opened to see the world moving around her. She saw the eager desperation in every one's movements. None of them wanted to fight more than they had to. They didn't want to fight people they didn't have to. Fukuromaru really wished she could read minds like Ana could at this moment and hear the thoughts of the boy she used to watch. "Naru… You've grown up. Minato and Kushina would be very proud. I know they are smiling on you right now. Ayu-chan is, too." She thought as she looked at the blond spikes beneath her talons. "Stay brave, kid. And stay out of trouble. I can't be watching you when your sister's not around any more." She thought and turned her attention to the people around her and the trees for her signal.
~With Kira~
Kira inhaled. Now was the time to move before Nagato finished the battle. With a blast of chakra and spirit goddess power, she launched her self in front of Jiraiya to block the spear coming at his back. She formed her chakra to a shield and deflected the rod.
Ting. Bong, bong. Clatter.
The rod fell to the ground. "Ana?" Nagato asked. "Kid?" Jiraiya asked. Kira began to become her sister. "Sorry, sensei. I can't save you from your fate." She said. "I didn't expect you to. You have your own path to continue. I've lived a good life kid. Step out of the way." He said. She shook her head. "Not yet." she said. "Nagato." she shook her head at him. He glared. "Don't try, Ana. I have respect for you. I don't want our partnership to end like this. "Partnership?!" The Frog in the back ground said.
"Yeah, I've been trying to change the Akatsuki's mind from the inside. You knew about my spies, Sensei. I just decided this was going too slow and stepped things up a bit. I'm still one hundred percent loyal to Konoha, you know I will be until the day I die. But, in the time I have been with the Akatsuki, I realized, they're not criminals, sensei. They are just out casted people looking for away to prove their good. They're like Naruto was when he was a kid after Ayu-chan died. They're like… me… back in the other dimension. They're just lost people being lead by the wrong person. And… It's really up to us, my spies and me, to free them and show the rest of the world what is the truth behind them. You just have to trust me on this, sensei." She said, trying not to cry.
"Step out of the way, kid. You know what you're doing. This is in your hands now. The secret you just told me will die with me. Understood?" He said. The frog behind him nodded. "Step out of the way, kid, don't get killed for me. Your path is still wide open and way ahead of you. I'm relying on you to look after Naruto from now on. I'm ready to die. Step out of the way." He said. Kira dropped the shield and stepped out of the way, allowing her tears to spill as the rods pierced the old man. "Good bye, Sensei." She said. "Good bye… kid… Be careful…" He said.
Kira felt Jiraiya's soul detach from his body. She waited for the frog to be completely gone before she let the illusion drop and she dropped by the body of the old man and helped his soul pass to the after life. "Rest in Peace, Jiraiya. Tsunade won't admit it, but she does love you." She said. Nagato stood by her and wiped tears from his eyes. "Did this really have to happen?" He asked. She nodded. "Jiraiya probably could have lived, but, as the demigoddess of spirit, I know better than anyone that if we had allowed him to live, then we would not be able to save another important person." Kira said. Nagato nodded, knowing Kira was right. The two people pushed the old man's body in to the water for an honorable burial. "Thank you, sensei." Konan murmured. We then turned back to the base to wait fro the arrival of the missing people.
~Back with Deidara and Miranda vs. Sasuke~
Brianna didn't want to watch, but she couldn't look away. Deidara and Miranda were worked in a corner that there was no possible way they could fight their way out of. They were trapped. It was that moment that it hit Brianna, Miranda, Deidara and Tabetha that there was no escaping the plot line here. Brianna wanted to pray. But who could she pray to? Her friend was about to die. She was the demigoddess of darkness. Kira was the goddess of spirit. Kira was the only one who could save them. Miranda couldn't breathe enough on the water to freeze it in time to save them. Brianna couldn't use a shadow to push Sasuke away. It hit them that this time, there was no way out.
Deidara turned to Miranda and she looked back at him. They could tell by the looks in each other's eyes that they both knew. "Tafadhali. Je kufanya hivyo. Mimi haja ya wewe." Translation: Please. Don't do it. I need you. Miranda said in Swahili. "Kukaa na mimi." Stay by me. Deidara said. Miranda nodded to him. "Hold on to me, I won't let you go, I promise, un." He said to her in English. She nodded and wrapped her arms around him. Sasuke watched them as they did so. He realized that at that moment that they had accepted their fate. Sasuke prepared to set off the left over, still active, explosive clay. "You fight well, both of you. I'll give you that." Sasuke said and everything began to move in slow motion.
~With the retrieval team~
Fukuromaru felt it. The half way point. The team was stopping for a brief moment to rest. "I'd suggest staying here for the night. If you were all to arrive too early, Ana would use me for target practice." She said. "But what if we miss Sasuke?" Sakura asked. Fukuromaru hopped over to the rosette. "Ana won't allow it. Even if she and her spies have to sit on him for three years, she won't let him slip through your fingers again." Said the small owl. "How are we sure?" Sakura asked. "Has Ana ever given you a reason to not trust her?" Fukuromaru asked. Sakura shook her head. "There you go. Ana is like Ayu-chan. She would never break her word unless it was to bring benefit to those she promised." Fukuromaru said and hopped back to Naruto. "Thanks for the help, Fuku. I've really missed you. I miss Niichan, too. Is Ana really that much like her?" He asked. "Like you wouldn't believe." The owl said.
Fukuromaru fluttered over to Kakashi. "By the way, Kakashi-san." She said and pushed her beak in to some ruffled feathers under her wing and pulled a small scroll from under her wing. "This was from Ayu-chan before she died. Meant for your eyes only. I was unable to get it to you before Ayu-chan died and I was de-summoned." She said and dropped the scroll in his hand. "I'm afraid that this is where I leave you. Don't forget your objective. Good luck to you all." She said and fluttered away in to the sky. "Bye, Fuku!" Naruto yelled after his sister's owl. "Watch yourself, kid. I'd hate for anything to happen to you." The owl thought and flew on.
"What does it say, sensei?" Naruto asked as Kakashi read the note. He placed it in his pocket. "Nothing, Naruto. Just unsaid words between Ayu-chan and I." He said, rubbing the head of his student. "She did, however, tell me to tell you to never give up on your dream. She'd be too disappointed in you if you didn't become Hokage when she knows you could be better than all of the Hokage." He said. Naruto grinned, determination renewed. The team set up camp for the night, unaware of the battle going on.
~with Brianna and co.~
"NO!" Brianna shrieked as a large explosion erupted. Brianna ran forward to save her friends, but Tabetha and Tobi grabbed her and held her back. Brianna felt a tear in her chest as she felt the power of another demigoddess being torn from existence. She let out a shriek of pain. She clutched her chest and fell to the ground. She panted and stayed on the ground. "You… killed them…" She cried, staring at the large crater in the ground. "As was fate. May I continue, now?" Sasuke asked coldly. "Yes. Continue on with us. We will lead you as far as we can." Tabetha said. Brianna pushed herself off of the ground and followed behind the three on a pillow of shadows.
~With Ana~
A hiss of pain escaped the lips of the lead demigoddess. Her sapphire eyes stayed shut. Two tears escaped her eyes and fell down her cheeks. She licked them away when they came close to her mouth. Blood trickled down her arm. Her eyes opened. They flashed blackish green and then gray before settling back to sapphire. "How… Could this have happened?" She asked. She released a sigh and sat down out side of the arena Sasuke and Itachi would have their epic showdown the next day.
HOLY SHIT A SHORT CHAPTER COMPLETE WITH CLIFF HANGAR! Anyways, I know you're all freaking out about the deaths of Miranda and Deidara. I know, it is sad. It really was hard for me to write. But they will live in our hearts. *Trying not to cry* so um… yeah, review and all that Jazz. Stick around for the previews. Bye now… *runs out of the room crying.*
Next time in EA2: Screwin' With Shippuden:

"I hope you are prepared to die."
"I hope you dug the grave."
"Now! Go!"
"Sorry, I'm going to have to hold on to him for just a little longer, see ya in a few months!"
