Kayci POV

"Brelyna!" she shouted, running up to the bed where she was passed out. Unconscious wasn't the best way to put it really, a better word would be pale. Kayci may not have been the most intelligent of people, but even she knew how her own species venom worked.

It was a paralytic usually, causing deaths by damaging the brain and clotting the blood so it becomes a thick viscous mess. A concentrated version was produced in times of stress, and would kill even large enemies fairly quickly.

Brelyna seemed to have absorbed a small amount of it, just enough to kill, especially when administered through a neck artery, but it would take a fairly long amount of time. Already it had taken effect though, not just was she pale, but the neck punctures were scabbed over with sticky blood, as well as clearly visible blood vessels all over that area, sticking out like blood red tubes. Blood was likely moving very slowly in that area due to the thickness the venom gave it

Kayci would give the wound about four days without any help, and maybe double that if the Dunmer got some restoration help. The only person she knew who had any experience with her own kinds venom was Resh, and that wasn't through the most dignified cause. He bit himself as a child the first time he developed venom glands so was there when they cured him of it.

Tsaesci usually spent their time hunting and constantly warring with other species, and when fighting with poison never aimed to let someone live, so antivenom was fairly rare, even in their own land.

With any luck though Resh would be back soon though, he would definitely be back for Lydia regardless of his anger, Kayci knew him well enough to know how his mind worked, he may have a short fuse, but in the end he was a nice guy who would always do what was right.

And she was sure he'd be able to help, he may have been a child when he got poisoned, but he no doubt knew what to do, he was the smart one. For the meantime though she needed to get Collette and tell her what happened, the woman was a doctor of sorts so there should have been a good amount of doctor-patient confidentiality.

Their might be more assassins though, so Kayci would need to prepare, and be constantly alert, she'd finally be able to go back to her normal mood of getting ready to kill people. She would also have to make sure that Ancano didn't do anything, there was something 'off' about him, and not just because he was a Thalmor.

For the meantime she was going to wait with Brelyna slightly longer though, this wasn't so much for Brelyna, seeing as the woman was more or less unable to comprehend what was happening. It was more for her own sake, she knew Brelyna was a tough woman, and was likely to be fine, but still, she was scared for her. And just wanted to be with her for a while before leaving her alone. Hopefully someone else will come by so she wouldn't have to leave. For now she was happy in the same bed as her, nestled up against her lover to keep her warm, she would be in her true form to use her tail for better grip were it not for the fact people would immediately think she had bitten her…

Resh POV

Finally regaining his sense after the initial shock Tullius glared at him. "What makes you think I'm going to give you an entire hold, a major one at that, when you can offer me nothing in return?"

"Well, for one you don't really lose much, you can still house Imperial troops there during the war. And lets face it, the old management was hardly very good, you were barely getting much money off the place. If I'm in charge then you could trade with me once this is all over, and with all my plans, and also my… affiliations, trade would be great, especially if you get good relations early on with my kind," Resh explained, it was obvious Tullius would end up agreeing and letting him have it, because it was either that or Ulfric in exchange for a minor hold, and he knew the general wouldn't like that. Plus, Resh's offer was actually fairly good for the Empire anyway.

Now it was Ulfric's turn to get annoyed, as his previously smirking face had fallen, now Tullius was no longer angered. "And why should I agree to this?! you have no right to be in here making demands for your own kind when our treaty doesn't even concern you."

"You will agree because if you don't then I will make you regret those words. I'm trying to be fair here, really I am. I have no love for the Legion, and you should be pleased they now only have two minor Holds and their capital. Just an ally now in an independant major Hold, one they don't have power over." the Tsaesci argued, his size clearly giving him an edge of dominance over the others, despite the fact he had the least 'power' out of all of the leaders.

The Stormcloak leader settled down, still irate at how things hadn't gone as fluidly as he'd have liked. "I guess I did get the better side of this deal… but your new Hold isn't in any way owned by the Thalmor, by you and you only. I don't want that bitch to get any of my land, even if it is temporary!"

Despite the insult being hurled Elenwen's way, the person that irritated more than anyone, even Resh who started to feel territorial, was Tullius who was discontent again. "He's right, I do get a worse deal out of this! I could just leave, and carry on this war regardless of what you think!"

Instead of being allowed the chance to reprimand him; which Resh would have happily done, as he didn't go on a long journey on which he potentially missed Lydia, for nothing; Arngeir stood up. "Stop! Are you so blind to our danger that you can't see past your petty disagreements? Here you sit arguing about... nothing! While the fate of the land hangs in the balance!"

Everyone was shocked for a moment at his outburst, it sounded like something someone else entirely would be saying in this situation, but they didn't question him. "Don't you understand the danger? Don't you understand what the return of the dragons means? Alduin has returned! The World-Eater! Even now, he devours the souls of your fallen comrades! He grows more powerful with every soldier slain in your pointless war! Can you not put aside your hatred for even one moment in the face of this mortal danger?"

Thankfully Elenwen spoke up, making sure he didn't carry on ranting. "While I'm sure we'd all love to hear you speeches I believe there's a deal to conclude."

Ulfric would have interrupted her, due to his, too Resh, unnecessary hatred of her. But the Tsaesci in question scowled at him when he was about to open his mouth, and when a 13 foot long golden snake is sending you a message like that it's best to follow orders.

Tullius had seemed to have calmed down in the midst of all this too, sighing in submission about the whole situation. "Fine, this is about as good a deal as I'm going to get. This had better turn out well snake if I've lost a main city for no good reason I'll find a way to make you regret it. I'll alert the Jarl there of the changes right now, and in a few weeks, so they have time to prepare for their leave, they'll be gone and Markarth will be yours."

The general definitely wasn't pleased with the turnout of treaty, he left without another word, quickly followed by Rikke who was equally as upset as he, with any luck the fact Resh would likely fight against the Stormcloaks too would cheer him up in the future.

He guessed Ulfric would have remained a lot longer, probably to talk with his old elders, the Greybeards, but was quickly deterred by the look Elenwen gave him. Clearly there was some bad blood between them as the two couldn't be in the same room without Ulfric getting paranoid.

"I guess I should be heading to the College then, after all this with Lydia is sorted out I'll probably move in to my new place in Markarth, and probably take Kayci with me. Then after getting my bearings again I'll deal with the war, the Dragons, and maybe anything else you and the Thalmor want if I feel like it. Does that sound good to you?" Resh asked, deciding he would go for the Emissaries consent regarding all he did, he would hate for something to accidently be against their agreement without him realising.

"No!" Elenwen blurted, trying to keep him from the College while the assassin did their work. "I mean yes, it sounds good, but you shouldn't leave just yet."

"Why not?"

Elenwen smirked, giving him a knowing look. "I think you know why…"

Catching her meaning Resh grinned in reply at her. "I'll change to an Altmer, you'll probably like that best, unless you have some other tendency I don't know about."

"No, don't change back. I want to try and have you how you are in your true form. This is all about you, and you deserve some payment for your work," she whispered lustfully, quickly stopping him just before he shifted forms. In truth she wanted him regardless of whether or not he helped, it had been a while since she'd been with a man.

Resh stared at her incredulously, as he member started to extend from his scales. "Are you sure? seriously you don't think this will be too much?" he asked with concern, remarking on the part of him growing to something far larger than she had expected, she had to strain to stop her eyes bulging at what she was agreeing to.

"Yes, I'm sure," she carried on forcefully, taking a step forward, and grasping him tightly, taking him in a strong, for an Altmer, embrace.

Once her face was buried in his hair and on his shoulder in a position where he couldn't read her expression, Thalmor's eyes went right back to panic, not just due to the fact she agreed to have what will likely be pretty painful sex, but that she hadn't got a report from the Agent back when she really should have, and Elenwen knew she couldn't keep him here for another few days with sex alon. It should only take another day to get that letter back… right?

Elenwen POV

"Are you sure that didn't hurt?" Resh asked worriedly as the Altmer lay on his chest legs wrapped in his tail, as a sign of affection. He must have been about 3 times the average length of one of the Tamrielic races penis's, and she had insisted that he carried on, despite how large the size difference was.

Elenwen had to hold back a moan of agony. "Yeah, yeah it was fine," she lied, not wanting to put him at any ill ease in case it damaged diplomacy, all of this was for him and him only, not for her pleasure at all.

Resh frowned. "I'm not sure how much I believe you… you kept telling me to keep going, but you didn't sound like you enjoyed it… I tried to be gentle in case it did."

"You shouldn't have done," the Thalmor told him, slightly irritated that he hadn't had as good an experience as he should have. "Stay another day, and you can go a lot harder, it'll be g-"

"No, just stop," the Tsaesci interrupted in exasperation. "I have to leave today, you know that. My own flesh and blood could be coming soon, so I seriously need to hurry. I first need to talk to the leader of the Greybeards though, about what I learnt when I took them out."

"Fine, I should probably get going now anyway. I would've happily stayed for you though, but as that's out of the question I should leave you to your work," Elenwen sighed in defeat, she had actually made a cohort of Justiciars come with her to the temple as an escort, and subsequently had them wait within High Hrothgar to escort her back to the Embassy when she stayed the night. They probably weren't overly pleased that their journey length was extended, so another day was likely pushing it.

In a way the Emissary was pleased that she was leaving. She wasn't going to get another chance at further improving relations with him any time soon, but at least she would get an opportunity to rest after last night. That and see a healer, she likely had a few ruptures and tears in vulnerable areas, it was all worth it though, sacrifices needed to be made for success…

Resh POV

Resh didn't really know what to think to all this that was happening. Not what Paarthurnax had told him, that was fairly straight forward, go and find out about the Elder Scrolls, which to Resh was obvious, the College, they likely had the knowledge about this kind of thing. But his situation with Elenwen.

She refused to admit he had hurt her by accident last night, but it was obvious. Even when going easy on her she was definitely in pain, they just weren't compatible because of size, so much so that Resh was sure he felt himself causing a puncture and striking blood at one point. He didn't really get a chance to check though, as Elenwen had cried out, insisted it was a climax, and that she wanted to 'clean it off', doing so before he had a chance to see.

Regardless of what she said he knew something was up, and he had to do something about it. A way of making it up to her, she shouldn't have humoured him like that, and it made him feel terrible he had hurt her, so he would definitely have to do something to make amends and apologise that he hadn't seen through it immediately and stopped

For now though he really did need to get back to the College, it wouldn't be long before Lydia's human gestation period would be finished, and through all their arguing, he still wanted to be there for that, she was important to him, whether they got along all the time or not. And, he tried to push it away in his head, but he knew deep down that Lydia wasn't acting this way on purpose, that it was all hormones that would go away in a couple of weeks. Which made him feel increasingly guilty about last night with Elenwen.

If he had luck on his side the journey would be only three to four days if he sprinted not stop in his true form, ignoring if people saw him or not. Tsaesci were designed to cover a lot of distance very quickly, so what would take weeks for a normal group to travel if on foot, would take him considerably shorter.

Resh POV (Four Days Later)

Deciding it was probably best to change to his Nordic from now in Winterhold so no one was alarmed Resh started donning his armour. When he got the opportunity Resh vowed to make some Tsaesci armour for his true form, he was no blacksmith, but he was sure he could get Elenwen to give him an operative to craft something for him.

Knowing she was probably in Brelyna's room Resh went to look for Kayci, he wanted to see how she was handling her injuries, and just in general how she was doing. Of the three women she was definitely the one that irritated him the least, so would probably be the best option to go to first for a stress free stay at the College.

"Resh!" he heard shouted at him the moment he entered the room, making him almost jump back in shock at the tone of her voice, Kayci was clearly distressed as it usually didn't differ from either ridiculously upbeat and giggly, or pissed off.

He sighed, releasing the wish of no stress was a far fetched dream. "Can it wait? I just got here and it's been four days of nonsto-."

"No, I need you right away," she insisted, dragging the reluctant man by the arm into the room Brelyna was lying. She looked a lot worse than she did before, Collette was able to stop the venom from doing any more damage, but that was it, the Dunmer was still horrifically pale, and her neck veins had only gotten worse as the blood had clotted more. Only Resh could be able to help with his knowledge on this matter.

He looked at the dying woman, and smirked slightly. "Did you finally bite her? good on you, although I would think you'd be able to kill rather than just this, what did you do? lick her neck to death?"

Kayci stared daggers him. "No, this was because of an assassin using Tsaesci venom and attacking her. I need your help to cure her, only you know how. We were able to stop further poisoning, but the damage is already done, and it could shut down her brain, or blood flow!"

Every second he watched the pale Dunmer the room grew tenser and tenser. Kayci didn't know what to think, she knew Resh wasn't overly fond of Brelyna anymore, but she didn't think he'd let her die. Although he did believe she had done some heinous things. Then again he could have just been trying to devise the best way to cure her.

A few moments later Resh finally spoke. "No. Let her die, you're too good for her Kayce, with all she tried to make you do, she doesn't deserve you and is an evil woman." the smaller Tsaesci's face fell at that, before threatening to slip into anger…
