After a week where her mind was pre-occupied by her ex-husband when Monday rolled around Stephanie really wasn't pleased to see it.

Walking into the arena she plastered a smile on her face, this week couldn't be any harder than last week so she just had to remember that and it would soon all be over.

Hunter walked into the arena with his head held high and a determined look on his face, he was really hoping that Trish would be forthcoming with some answers before he went crazy thinking up the millions of possibilities for Stephanie's behaviour and Vince's when he thought about it a bit deeper.

Throwing his bag onto the bench when he entered the locker room he immediately changed into his workout gear just needing to blow off some steam in the ring for a bit before there was a queue.

Mikey squealed and went running towards Trish as soon as he saw her in front of him, "Tishy!"

Chuckling Trish hugged the little boy, "Mikey, man it's been forever since I last saw you."

Giggling he smiled up at her, "you silly. We play after?"

Nodding her head she smiled at him, "we sure will, if your Mom doesn't mind. I'm going to go and get a work out in the ring early and then I'll be all yours for the entire afternoon if your Mom needs to get any work done."

Stephanie smiled at Trish as she met up with them, "don't alter your routine on my behalf, I'll fit in around you."

Trish shook her head, "oh this is nothing to do with you. Everyone is a bit jumpy around here at the minute and is desperate to prove their worth so if I waited until later to get a work out in in the ring then I'll likely have to queue and I'm far too impatient for that."

"Well in that case don't let us keep you, we wouldn't want you to have to attempt to be patient."

Chuckling lowly Trish bent down and kissed Mikey on the top of the head, "be a good boy and I will see you a little bit later."

Stepping back Mikey grabbed his Mom's hand, "bye Tishy."

Trish gave them both a quick wave before she skipped down the corridor to get to the ring in the hopes of being one of the first people that got there. As she entered the arena she shook her head, she shouldn't have been surprised to see Hunter there working out. Reaching ringside she climbed onto the apron, "room for a small one?"

Stopping what he was doing Hunter turned to see Trish there, this couldn't have been more perfect if he had actually planned it, "sure, as long as you don't mind me asking a few questions."

Climbing into the ring she eyed him suspiciously, "what sort of questions?"

Shrugging his shoulders he played innocent, "oh you know, just a few questions about this and that."

Raising her eyebrow she looked at him, "this being Stephanie and that being Mikey?"

Laughing he leant back on the ropes, "am I that transparent?"

"Yes and no. I can just tell that this whole thing is playing on your mind a lot and you'd like things straightened out so you know where you stand."

Pressing his lips together in a tight line he sighed, "trust me, I don't think anybody will ever straighten this out for me. Enough about that though, let's get some practise in before someone else wants to join the party or kick us out."

Using the ropes to stretch a little Trish nodded her head, "sounds good to me."

Walking into her office Stephanie set up her laptop before she placed Mikey's suitcase of toys on the floor and opened it for him, "you be a good boy and play with your toys whilst Mommy gets some work done please."

Beginning to set his toys on the couch in a line Mikey put Bubbles and his new toy from Hunter right in the middle before surrounding them by the rest of the toys and then pulling out a toy from the suitcase to play with before he lay down on the ground and began to play with it.

Completely focussed on her work she jumped a mile when there was a heavy knock on the door. Pushing her chair away from the desk she looked at the door, "come in."

Ethan rushed through the door, "Miss McMahon, we have a massive problem and we really need your help."

Rubbing her hands on her face she really didn't like the sound of that at all, "okay, give me two minutes as I just need to find someone to watch Mikey for me."

Grabbing her phone she sent a quick text:

Trish it's urgent, I need someone to watch Mikey asap please.

Taking a brief break from working out Trish sat on the top turnbuckle, "so ask a question and I will see if I am able to answer it."

Deciding to just jump right in Hunter blurted out, "do you know who Mikey's Father is?"

Before Trish had chance to answer her phone beeped in the corner of the ring, "be a doll and get my phone for me will you please?"

Rolling his eyes Hunter walked over to her phone and picked it up before he handed it to her, "there you are your Royal Lazyness."

Flipping open her phone Trish groaned as she read the text and Lita called her name as she entered the arena, "fuck. Hunter, you don't fancy doing me another favour do you?"

Not convinced he really did want to do the favour he sighed, "okay fine but in return I expect you to answer questions."

Nodding her head she was torn between two things and she didn't like either option, "sure I will but only when we're alone. I need you to go to Steph's office and watch Mikey for her. I know she asked me to do it but Lita's here and we need to go over stuff for later so I really really don't have the time to do it right now so pretty please with a cherry on top."

This was an opportunity Hunter couldn't pass up so he nodded his head, "sure and if she kills me I want you to tell my parents it was all your fault."

Laughing Trish jumped down from the top rope, "thanks."

Hunter climbed out of the ring and quickly made his way to Stephanie's office.

Pacing back and forth in her office Stephanie was desperate for Trish to arrive so when there was a knock at the door she swung it open, "thank God for that, I thought you'd ne . . ." Stopping mid-sentence when she saw who was there she shook her head, "you're not Trish."

Shrugging his shoulders he smiled softly, "I should hope I'm not her. Trish is tied up in the ring and needs to go over something for the show tonight so asked that I come and watch Mikey for you. I promise we will just sit quietly here and play games, we won't move."

Looking over at Mikey she sighed softly when she saw him looking at her hopefully, "I guess you will do. I don't have time to wait for Trish or find somebody else so please just sit here and Mikey be a good boy for Hunter. If there are any problems then please just send somebody for me and I will come straight back."

Smiling as Mikey clapped his hands excitedly Hunter quickly glanced at him before turning back to Stephanie, "I promise we will be okay and if we're not I will get someone to look for you."

Reluctantly Stephanie grabbed her phone from her desk, "be good for Hunter Mikey."

Kissing him on the top of the head she rushed out of the room to sort out the problem before it developed into an even bigger one.

Walking into the room Hunter dropped to his knees beside Mikey, "so what would you like to do?"

Looking at him hopefully Mikey's eyes widened, "draw?"

Chuckling Hunter nodded his head, "sure. Do you have any pens?"

Frowning Mikey pouted and shook his head, "no, Mommy does."

Standing up Hunter went over to her desk, "where does your Mommy keep her pens please?"

"With her 'pooter."

Opening Stephanie's laptop bag Hunter slipped his hand into the front pocket searching for a pen when it connected with a folded piece of paper and a few pens. Pulling both things out together he put the pens on the desk and went to put the piece of paper back in the laptop bag when he caught his thumb in the fold and opened it slightly and his name caught his eyes. Gulping he looked over at Mikey nervously but when he saw that he was otherwise occupied he slipped the paper into his back pocket, he didn't know why he felt like he should read it but he did and there was no going back now.

Sighing softly Hunter placed the bag back on the floor before he took the pens and went and sat down with Mikey, "so what shall we draw?"

Mikey grabbed some paper from the suitcase and thrust it at Hunter, "monkeys!"
