You Shouldn't Have Left.
Chapter 9.
Okay I'm not sure if you noticed but I messed up; so to explain, Grace is married to Gale and has two children, Jerry and Lilly; she came and visited Kim since she was in the hospital then went back the France, Jerry was in town for a tour and also visited Kim. Okay now that that's cleared up; onto the story! :)
*TRIGGER WARNING! READ WITH CAUTION*
"Jack Brewer and his wife Kim" the nurse called out
"I'm Kim, we're not married" I said as I walked up to the nurse
"Whose child is it?"
"It's mine, Jacks a friend" I said
"Only family members please" the nurse said as she looked at Jack, Jack looked at me waiting for me to speak up but I just followed the nurse
"Your daughter is fine, we would just suggest that she stays with us for the night, you can come pick her up tomorrow; she is sleeping at the moment" she brought me into the room where they were keeping her,
I walked up next to Sadie's bed and looked down at her, she had feeding tubes below her nose and an IV in her arm, I gently moved her curls out of her face
"Hey baby" I said as I started crying, I sat down next to her and put my hand over hers
"Nurse" I said as I looked up at her, she was young; maybe 24, she had bright red hair and a nose stud, and she wore blue scrubs and a big smile on her face, this nurse was different than the one that brought me into the room
"Can you bring in a Jack Brewer; he's the father of her" I said, she nodded and walked out, I felt bad about leaving him out there and I knew if I left him out he would hurt himself and I didn't want that
"Sadie" Jack said as he walked in with the nurse behind him
"I'm so sorry sweetie, I promise it will never happen again" Jack said as he sat on the opposite side of me and kissed her on the forehead
Jack had his sleeves pulled up and I saw a brand new cut that wasn't wrapped up; it had beads of blood on it; it was bleeding pretty heavily and it was dripping down his arm, I looked over at the door and noticed the nurse had left
I stood up and opened a cabinet next to the chair; it had some band-aids and wraps; I grabbed a wrap and a alcohol swab, I walked over to Jack and patted his shoulder; he turned around and looked at me; I grabbed his arm and used the alcohol swab to clean the cut, I covered the cut with some wrap and used some hospital tape to keep it from unraveling
"Let's go" I said
I kissed Sadie's forehead and brought Jack out of the room,
Once we were outside of the room I grabbed Jacks wrist and turned him toward me
"What the heck Jack?!" I yelled in a hush tone
"This needs to stop" I said as I tried to walk past him; but he grabbed my wrist and turned me around I could feel his breath beating down on me
"You don't understand, you can't just stop; it's not that simple" he whispered into my ear, I could hear the strain in his voice as he fought back tears
"Jack stop" I said as I tried to pull away but his grip on my wrist was too tight
"No Kim listen, you can't stop. Maybe you both will be better off if I just left" Jack said as he let go of my wrist and walked away
"Jack!" I yelled, my voice cracked and tears formed up in my eyes
"No, now you know how it feels" Jack said as he walked down the hall
"Jack please!" I screamed at him but he just walked away
"Jack I'm begging you! Jack please!" I screamed, here I was again; begging for Jack; like I said I would never do again
"Jack…" I screamed one last time, I turned around and started to walk into Sadie's room, when I hear footsteps running towards me and a hand grab my wrist and turn me into a hug
"I've let you go to many times Kim… but not this time…I'm sorry, I'll try to stop… I wont leave again" Jack said, I placed my head onto his chest and listened to his heart beat.
~the next day~
"Mommy! Wake up, Daddy's making Cupcakes and bacon for breakfast!" Sadie says as she jumps up and down on my side, I sit up and smell bacon just like Sadie said
"Yum! alright lets go before the tickle monster gets you!" I scream as I jump out of bed and chase her down the hall into the kitchen,
"Mommy we're matching!" Sadie says as she smiles bright, I look down to see what I'm wearing, a "Bring me the horizon" shirt and plaid pajama pants, I glance up at Sadie and notice she's wearing the same thing
"Did Daddy dress you last night?" I ask with a smirk as I look up at Jack who is blasting Skrillex while indeed making Cupcakes and Bacon
(Authors note: I decided to have some fun and make Kim and Jack have the same music taste as I do ^-^)
I sit down on the island next to Sadie who is rocking out the "Bangerang" I dance along with her, once the song ends I walk up to the speakers and see that Jack stole my iPhone for the music
"So, you stole my Iphone?" I say with a smile
"Well jokes on you" I say as I give him a sly grin and change the song, I look at Sadie who has stopped dancing and starred at me with a huge smile on her face once she realizes what song it is
I see stare at Jack who is giving me a "Are you serious" look
"Yep" I say with a giggle
I grab Sadie's hands and dance with her to 'She's not afraid' by One Direction
"You are a disgrace to bring me the horizon fans everywhere" Jack says; he hides a grin and continues making Cupcakes
"Hey! You can like them both!" I say as I defend my bands
"Yeah Daddy! I already met them both! They were amazing"
"You met Oli!" Jack yells
"We ran into him at the store, he was super nice and took a bunch of photos with us" I say
"What!?" Jack shouts; he turns off the oven and stove and places two cupcakes on the island with 3 platefuls of Bacon, I stop dancing and sit down; I motion Sadie to follow and she sits down next to me
"A couple months ago Sadie and I won VIP tickets to spend the next week with one direction, Sadie's favorite was Louis" I say as Sadie smiles with a mouth full of Bacon and cupcakes
With me being an overprotective mom I make sure Jack made them Dairy free and he nods
"You already called the school right? And told them about Sadie" I ask
"Yeah, taken care of" he replies
"Mom" Sadie asks; she turns her head towards me
"Can we go see the new one direction movie" she says with puppy dog eyes and a huge smile
I look up at Jack and he smiles
"Go change" I say with a grin
She screams and jumps of the chair and runs down the hall, I walk around the island and grab Jacks arm; I fold up his sleeve and see nothing new, some old scars; the newest ones from yesterday
"I love you" Jack says as I walk away
"I'm not their yet Jack, I still don't trust you and I'm not sure how much longer that will take" I say as I slowly walk away
I close the door to my room and lift the BMTH shirt over my head and put on a one direction shirt, I switch out of my plaid pants and put on dark blue skinny jeans, I slip on some black vans slip-ons and walk out, I look at Sadie and giggle; she's wearing her Black vans, dark blue skinny jeans, and her Louis sweater since it was 43 degrees outside
"Seriously" I say with a smile and I pick her up, we pretty much had the same wardrobe since we both had the same fashion sense
I walked into the kitchen and sat Sadie on the island and grabbed my phone and tweeted
"#OneDirectionThisIsUs movie with Jack_Brewer and Sadie :)"
Jack walked into the kitchen wearing blue Toms, black skinny jeans, and a blue shirt
"Toms…Really?" I say as I stare at him with a disgusted look
"Vans really?" he replies back, he stares back at me then we both burst into laughter
"Let's go" Jack says; he picks up Sadie with one arm and puts his other around my waist, we walk out the door, I lean my head onto his chest and smile.

Okay I will NOT be able to post for the next two weeks :'( I WILL be writing though, I will be away from my computer which has all my info, please keep my Mother in your thoughts/prayers she will be going into Open Heart Surgery Friday, I will be at a friend's house (for the two weeks she's healing) but I will be doing my writing on my iPhone (I know commitment!) and sending the info to my email then copy and pasting it into my documents. :) I'm gonna miss y'all a ton.
