For those that think some of the chapters are slow I promise they're all leading somewhere, there is a purpose to them so please stick with it and continue to leave feedback :)

Arriving at the arena Hunter made his way to the locker room throwing his bags down before he took a seat and relaxed whilst some of the other boys discussed what they had done since the Smackdown taping.

Everyone was talking amongst themselves but from time to time they would glance over at Hunter wondering why he was so quiet and seemed so spaced out with a small smile on his face because that was not his usual behaviour, he wasn't big on being loud but normally he never just sat there either and he definitely didn't smile.

Nudging was going on between a few of the guys as they tried to decide who was going to take their life in their hands and ask Hunter why he was so happy. In the end they decided on playing rock, paper, scissors to determine who the lucky wrestler would be.

Trish saw on the fixture list for the evening that she had a mixed tag match so to get herself in the mood for the match she thought that she'd meet up with her tag team partner so she made her way to the men's locker room.

At the end of their game of rock, paper, scissors John Cena ended up losing and having to ask Hunter what was going on, "Hunter."

Hunter was so far off in his own little world that he didn't hear a word that was said to him.

Not receiving a response Cena gently nudged Hunter from afar with his foot, "hey man."

Clearing his head Hunter looked at Cena, "can I help you?"

Cena stepped further away from Hunter, "if you don't mind me asking why are you so happy?"

Shrugging his shoulders Hunter wanted to play things cool as there was no way he could actually tell anyone he was on a date with Stephanie, "oh you know, things are going well for once in my life."

Randy couldn't help himself from butting in, "going well? Did you find a woman that would actually put up with you?"

Unable to bite his tongue Hunter smirked, "actually yes."

The small conversations that were going on in the rest of the locker room all stopped and everyone turned to face Hunter.

Feeling all of the eyes of the people in the room on him he decided to just tell them something, "I was on a date last night."

"You were on a date? How did that happen?"

Everyone else laughed and Hunter just glared at them, "I was being serious, I actually did have a date last night."

"With a woman?"

Hunter rolled his eyes, "seriously?! I wasn't going to go out with a man."

"True, no man would touch you."

Getting up Hunter moved to another seat before he punched someone, "it wasn't with a man, it was with a woman and it was amazing and I can't wait to do it again."

Cena smirked at him, "did you have to pay for the privilege?"

"Not at all, she asked me out and this week it is my turn to ask her out."

Trish made her way to the men's locker room and as she reached just outside the room she stopped when she heard the commotion inside and eavesdropped on the conversation. Standing just outside the door she was shocked when she heard Hunter talk about being on a date, Stephanie was going to be absolutely pissed when she found out that the guy she was so in love with, even if she was in denial about it, was dating another woman.

Turning around she nearly collided with Chris Jericho as she went to walk away, "looking for someone?"

Shaking her head she was more than willing to keep what she had just heard a secret, "yes, no, I don't know."

"If I can be of any help then feel free to ask."

Laughing she shook her head, "trust me you can't help me make this decision but you can help me discuss the match tonight and how we're going to kick butt."

Nodding his head he was okay with that, "give me two minutes to pick up my knee pads and then I'm all yours."

Walking into the locker room he went over to his bag rifling through it for his knee pads stopping only when he got a nudge to the shoulder, "what?"

"Hunter went on a date last night. Can you believe a woman actually went out with him?"

Trish's reaction was now starting to make a little sense to him, "I would like to say yes but the truth is I really can't. I think I'd better start looking above me when I go outside because I think hell has frozen over and the sky may start falling down."

Taking the knee pads he quickly left the locker room falling into step beside Trish, "so we need to talk."

Rolling her eyes she started walking a little faster, "I don't like talking today, I've got far more depressing things on my mind."

"I heard something really interesting from the boys in the locker room whilst I was looking for my knee pads. I heard that Hunter went on a date last night and I'm thinking after your reaction when I bumped into you that you like him."

Stopping dead she turned to look at him like he had lost every single brain cell he had ever had, "did you get too many hits to the head recently or something? I do not like him like that, I really really do not like him like that, never have and never will. What the hell is it with people around here thinking I have a thing for Hunter? Do you not think I have any taste?"

Raising his eyebrow it didn't make any sense any more, "then why the hell do you really seem bothered by Hunter going on a date if you don't like him like that?"

Shrugging her shoulders there was no way she was going to be open and honest with him about Stephanie and how she felt about Hunter, "I guess I just find it a bit insensitive that he's all talking about dating some new woman whilst his ex-wife who he has been attempting to play nice with is still around."

Despite not being entirely convinced by her explanation it did sound believable so he would let it pass, "when you put it like that I have to think that you must be telling the truth because that really is insensitive but that is definitely Hunter through and through."

Trish nodded her head, "yeah I know. Enough about him though, let's talk about tonight."

Walking down the corridor the two of them turned their attention to their match tonight and how they were going to get through it and come out with the win.
