A/N: Well, folks, this is it. The final chapter of Generation 1 complete with a anime ending at the end of the chapter. After I take a break, I will now work on Generation 2. So here it is, the long awaited conclusion to Generation 1.
Chapter 29: Farewell and Marriage: Generation 1
Renee's POV
After we have defeated the Dark Knight once and for all, we got some R and R before Dyshana will take us to an important location, Could it have something to do with that large pillar that appeared in the center of Lucrellia? Oh, and there was an incident with Elaine getting drunk and Ellis eating some ice cream which I found her to be cute eating ice cream like that. Then, we arrived at the pillar.
Leo stared at the pillar before turning his head to face Dyshana by asking her "If we seal this pillar, will it stop the darkness from spreading and fix the distortions in space and time?"
Dyshana shook her head no and said "Sealing this pillar will not be enough. There are four other pillars like this in the world. To stop the darkness, all five must be sealed."
"Not only yourself, but your descendants as well, huh?" Leo asked despondently.
"You finally understand." Dyshana nodded with a calm and demeanor look.
"What do you mean, four more pillars? You say there are more, but how could we have missed them?" Winfield asked, eyebrows raised.
"There are five continents in this world. Lucrellia is all but one." Dyshana explained.
"One pillar from each continent, I guess." IF asked, arms crossed.
"I have never seen those other continents. Are you sure they exist?" Fyuria asked, skeptic about this.
"The continents are separated from each other, and none may cross the barrier to the other continents." Dyshana stated.
"Then how do we seal the other pillars if they cannot be reached? Or... you know a way." Junko asked, arms crossed.
"Yes... With my power. In other worlds, Leo. However..." Dyshana nodded.
"That cannot be. I must remain on this continent as the seal on this pillar." Leo protested.
"Then we're screwed, then..." Rei looked down, feeling depressed that they may not be able to save their world with no other way, not only that, they'll go made and become Summerill's slaves if the trinkets are not removed.
Dyshana smirked and said "There are women amongst you that care deeply for Leonhardt. Leonhardt, you must choose one of these women."
That caught Leo off guard. "You cannot expect me to make such an important decision right now..."
"If you do not, we cannot proceed. Perhaps you should select a companion that has accepted your destiny." Dyshana told him, Leo remained silent as Dyshana turned to the others and asked them "What will the rest of you do? You have traveled together for your own gain or out of curiosity, but you will play no part in the events to come. Except for Renee, Winfield and the otherworlders who bear Summerill's trinkets."
"We're glad to go with you, Dyshana. After all, Leo helped us and we should help his descendants as well." Renee smiled slightly.
"No!" Aria fumed. "I won't allow it! Leo is my slave! He can't stay as a pillar forever!"
"Aria, cool it, okay?" Gascogne reassured her. "What's done is done. We can't change destiny."
Winfield pointed his finger at himself with a grin and told Leo "Leave everything to me, Leo. I will see to it that your son becomes a man."
Ellis stepped forward and frowned at Winfield and told him "Do you really think he would leave something so important to someone as irresponsible as you?" Ellis closed her eyes and smiled by adding in "This time, I will be able to help Leo. Don't worry, Leo, I will take good care of your child."
"Not alone, you won't. Noire, Neptune, Vert, IF and the rest of us will help raise Leo's child." Yuri turned to Leo with a smile and told him "I owe everything to you, Leo. Bits of my memories have returned to me and I need to return the favor by helping your child take on Summerill and save the universe. I'll teach him what I know about sword fighting."
Leo smiled slightly and said "Thank you, Ellis and Yuri."
"And I'll teach your son about strategies and command skills I learned back in my world. We need to defeat Summerill to undo his damage and your child will be up to the task." Takashi grinned as he gave Leo a thumbs up."
Fyuria turned to Zerva with concern. "Zerva..."
Zerva closed his eyes and smiled and replied with "I know." He opened them with another smile and told Leo "Leonhardt, I am indebted to you. I shall make it up to you, one day."
"Thank you, Zerva." Leo nodded.
Vira-Lorr puts her hand on her chin in thought. "Hmm... I still see very little... Although I can see your son's face."
"Wow! Leo is gonna have a boy!" Neptune beamed. "Don't worry, Leo! I will guide your son to victory or my name is not Neptune!" Neptune proclaimed.
"You're not gonna spoil him, you know!" Noire snapped.
Vira-Lorr smirked and told Leo "Yes, and quite handsome too, like his father. This, I must see for myself."
Leo closed his eyes and smiled. "Thank you... all of you...
Winfield chuckled nervously and replied with "With an odd circle of friends, I've no doubt your child will turn out just fine."
"Yes. Let's save the teary eye bits for later. We need to plan a wedding." Kirito smiled slightly.
"What the hell is a wedding?" Tokai mumbled.
"It is time, Leonhardt." Dyshana proclaimed. Leo nodded while Renee and Ellis remained silent.
Fyuria walked up to Leo. "Leo..." Fyuria asked, a hint of happiness and sadness in her tone.
"I know..." Leo nodded as he kneed down and held Fyuria's hand. "Fyuria... will you marry me?"
Fyuria smiled softly and said "Of course I will."
Leo smiled softly as he stands up and locked lips with Fyuria, Luana has tears of joy along with Dita and Paiway for some reason. Prinny jumped for joy. Ed smiled softly as he wipes a tear from his eye. Elaine smiled at the future husband and wife while Etna just "Meh..."
Renee's POV
That following day, Leo and Fyuria were married in Rigulus. I was happy for them, yet, I feel sad for they are about to leave this world as the pillar of Lucreillia. A few months later, their baby son, a mixture of human and syrium was born. His name, Ladius... And then, Leo and Fyuria were gone... Luana and Elaine were missing when Leo and Fyuria became one with the pillar. After that, we left Lucrellia where our story is only beginning and we will recruit more allies in our fight against the Demon King and his Dark Generals. Also, we must find a way to remove his trinkets off our bodies before it is too late... Leo... Watch over us, okay?

The final scene shows Ellis all grown up and overlooking the pillar of Lucrellia with a soft smile as she closed her eyes, tears appeared and drifted into the wind.
