After Trish had had a go at him about going out with 'another woman' on Friday night Hunter was started to wonder if maybe the reason that Stephanie hadn't replied to his texts was because she was regretting the date.

Walking the few steps to her office he knocked softly on her open door watching as Mikey immediately got up from his seat on the floor and ran over to him grabbing his hand and pulling on it, "Hunner, Hunner."

Chuckling at how excited he was to see him Hunter knelt down on the floor so he was at eye level with him, "can I help you Mikey?"

Mikey nodded is head, "cans we play wesslers?"

Smiling at Mikey he lifted his head to look at Stephanie who was now staring at him to see how she felt but he couldn't read the expression so turned his attention back to the little boy, "well I don't think they've finished putting the ring together yet so I don't think we can at the minute but maybe later if Trish is going to be looking after you the three of us can go to the ring. I don't think your Mommy will want you doing any climbing though."

Shaking his head Mikey looked at the floor sadly, "Mommy said no climbing. Pwomise we p'ay later?"

Nodding his head Hunter smiled at him, "as long as your Mom is okay with it I promise."

Turning to his Mom Mikey ran over to her, "say yes p'ease Mommy."

Bending down she pressed a soft kiss to the top of his head, "I told you yesterday that if they were okay with it you could but only if they're free and nobody is using the ring okay?"

Clapping his hands excitedly Mikey ran back to his toy monkeys holding them out to his Mom, "Bubbles and Monkey climb yes?"

Chuckling she nodded her head, "yes, Bubbles and Monkey can climb the ropes but you can't as they don't have bones to break and you do."

Sitting down heavily on the floor he started to tell his two monkeys exactly what he was going to make them do when they were in the ring.

With Mikey occupied with his toys Stephanie turned her attention to Hunter, "so what can I do for you?"

Looking between Mikey and Stephanie Hunter knew he couldn't be too obvious, "I just wondered if you had time for a chat?"

She knew what he wanted to talk about and she definitely didn't have time for that, "I'm sorry I can't. I have so much work to do right now that I don't have time for social chats."

Not sure where the hostility was coming from he reluctantly nodded his head, "okay I understand. Can you at least tell me if you got my texts please?"

"I got your texts but I haven't had much time to myself between running the company and Mikey so haven't had time to think about it."

Not sure why she would need time to think about it as he thought it was a simple yes or no answer as she had said that she had had a good time, "I see. I'll let you get back to your work then. Bye Steph and I might see you later Mikey."

Waving at Hunter Mikey then turned his attention back to his monkeys.

Watching him leave Stephanie was grateful that Hunter wasn't fighting her or pushing her for answers as she wasn't planning on giving any, it would all be cleared up in a few days.

Having left Hunter to go and talk to Stephanie Trish made her way back towards the women's locker room but as she turned the corner she fell head first over somebody's suitcase that was laying in the middle of the floor, "what the fuck?"

Jumping at the sound of somebody crashing to the floor Jericho ran out of the room he was in and gulped seeing Trish laying on the floor, "fuck. Trish I'm so sorry."

Standing up she brushed herself down, "you should be. Are you a moron leaving your suitcase laying in the middle of the floor around a blind corner?"

"Maybe? In my defence it wasn't laying down when I left it, it must have fallen over when I wasn't looking. Maybe if you paid more attention though you wouldn't have fallen over it."

Sighing she knew she was partially to blame, "yeah I know but I had something on my mind."

Jericho had a feeling he knew what it was, "or someone. What did Hunter do now?"

Looking around to make sure that nobody was around to overhear them she sighed, "he doesn't see that he has done anything wrong by going out with another woman and bragging about it whilst Stephanie is still around."

Rolling his eyes a little he didn't know what to say to her, "I'm not sure what you want me to say as he is his own man and I'm not getting involved in the whole Stephanie and Hunter story again. The one thing I do know about this new mystery woman though is that whoever she is he definitely has it bad for her."

"After one date?"

Jericho shrugged, "I don't really know for certain if it was a first date as he could just be messing with the boys but if it is just the one date then yes, he has it bad for her after one date. He has texted her at least twice this weekend and neither time she has answered him and he's pretty cut up about it."

The more she thought about it and the more she added everything together she was beginning to wonder if maybe Stephanie was the woman that Hunter had gone out on a date with. When she thought about the two of them being on a date together it would explain Hunter's peculiar reaction to her confronting him about being on a date with somebody else but nothing about Stephanie not telling her made any sense, especially after she had told her that Hunter had been on a date with another woman and she hadn't said a word.

As he stood there he could see Trish's brain whirring inside her head and wondered what she knew, "either you really do fancy him yourself or you know something I don't about this mystery woman."

She really didn't know anything and even if she did she wasn't going to share it with him because who knows if it would make its way around the locker room if she did. Taking a deep breath she shook her head, "I don't fancy him and I don't think I know anything about this mystery woman."

"You don't think?"

Laughing a little she sighed, "okay I don't know anything at all for certain about this apparently mysterious woman that Hunter went on a date with but there have been a few clues given out and I am going to try and work them out."

Thinking she was crazy he shook his head, "I think you need to see the trainer as you've clearly had a bang to the head that is affecting the way you think. I want no part of your investigations, I rather like my job thanks."

Patting him gently on the shoulder she smiled at him, "don't worry, I wasn't going to tell you or ask for your help anyway."

Walking away from him she now had a plan in mind and just had to execute it.
