A/N: Welcome to Generation 2 of Record of Agarest War: Xover Edition. Here in this second arc of this epic crossover. Leonhardt and Fyuria's son, Ladius is the main character with three more women who will be Ladius's wife, but only one will be that lucky girl. (I already know which pairing I will go with, but I won't tell! Heheh, ahem.) And Renee, Ladius and the gang will gain more allies in their quest to defeat Summerill and save the new land they're on and they will fight two of Summerill's five Dark Generals. So without further ado, let's start Generation 2.

Generation 1 recap

The War of Lucrellia is over, Gridamas and Rigulus has formed a peace treaty and prosperity returned to the land of Generation 1. But the Ragian family and Renee Roberts's story has just begun... Two of Summerill's Dark Generals will try to destroy them with allies from Agarest and other worlds, but the son of Leonhardt and Fyuria will save this second land with the help of Renee, Leo's allies and new allies from Agarest and other dimensions that will expeience the tragedy and maturity of war. Some of them will be childish and immature, but as they travel with Leo's son and three women chosen for Generation 2, they will grow into adults to help the Ragian family save the universe from the Demon King's evil, even if they are cursed with immortality by the Demon King's trinkets. New bonds will forge and new loves will be ignited. The story of Ladius Von Busser Ragian has begun!

Generation 2

Chapter 30: The Son of Leonhardt: To Quell a Rebellion

In another continent in the kingdom of Grugund, a man of 25 years in age, has spiky blond hair like Leonhardt and wore red armor was discussing about the family estate. This man is none other than Ladius, son of Leonhardt and Fyuria Ragian. A man of half human and half syrium blood.

"Am I really worthy of deserving the family estate...?" Ladius questioned as he folded his arms.

Zerva, who is now Ladius's uncle told him "You had no choice. Deserving or not, this is the way things have to be."

Ladius was concerned about this and replied with "One way or the other, I will become a Spirit Vessel. Is this not simply delaying the inevitable?"

Winfield walked up to Ladius and placed his hand on his shoulder with a small smile and told Ladius "If it will be of help, think of it as a temporary distraction."

"I concur." Meia nodded. "Your role as the Spirit Vessel will have to wait. Your foster father wanted you to inherit his state. I'm sure your real father, Leonhardt will want that as well."

Alice M looked down despondently. "I miss Uncle Leo and Aunt Fyuria already..." She sniffled.

Saeko patted Alice M on the shoulder and reassured her "Don't worry, we have Uncle Ladius now. He will act as a replacement for Leo."

Alice D smirked and told Ladius "When the time comes, transfer ownership to someone with proper linage."

"I agree with Lady Alice D." Jean agreed.

Ladius sighed and told Alice D. "I'm sorry, Dodgeson, but I cannot share your optimism."

"You are more stubborn than I. I wonder... who do you take after?" Winfield smiled nervously.

A high elf woman who wears the same clothes as Ellis, but slightly altered sighed. It's none other than Ellis who is all grown up. "Not you- that much is clear." Ellis smiled at Ladius and told him "Ladius, I do not wish to be as dismissive as certain other people, but perhaps you should... relax."

"I agree with Elly. We'll strike when the iron's hot or that's what I think they say." Neptune rubbed the back of her head nervously.

Ladius looked up at the ceiling and muttered "I just wanted to fulfill my destiny, like my father..."

Dyshana stood up from her seat and told the new Spirit Vessel "I feel the darkness that shrouds this land Be not hasty, the time for you to fulfill your destiny is nigh. Remember this: your destiny has but a single path. You must be the one to open that path."

Ladius was silent as he nods slowly, agreeing to what Dyshana said.

It was then, a man of unknown age, red hair, wearing black armor with a red cape and flames coming out of his shoulders came in, he has a cold look upon him. He talked to Ladius with "Ladius, we have been called to reassemble. We must leave."

This man is known as Vashtor, a mysterious man who Ladius found on a beach as a child. Strangely, Vashtor has no recollection of his past other than his skills with the sword, Renee and some otherworlders who lost almost their memories thought Vashtor is one of them, but he has no trinket of Summerill and is immortal as Dyshana stated. There is something mysterious about Vashtor that has Noire, IF, Houki and Tokai distrust him a little. But he became a part of Ragian's Army as Renee calls their army of heroes from Agarest and other worlds.

"Understood. This can wait until later." Ladius told everyone as he exited his room.

"Something up?" Cecilia asked in concern to Vashtor.

"Rebel forces are gathering in the Tannus Mountains. Our orders will most likely be to destroy them." Vashtor said with a calm demeanor.

"So quick to allow himself to become involved? Only moments ago he was debating his worthiness of this estate." Ellis said in concern.

"Can't say I blame him though, having to clean up after someone's mess..." Renee stated, her arms crossed.

"I sense trouble brewing..." Vira-Lorr warned.

"Is it another vision, Vira-Lorr?" Asuna asked, concerned about her friends and Ladius's well-being.

"Not a vision, but something similar. The Tannus Mountains are in House Maurice territory, yes?" Vira-Lorr corrected.

Yuri sighed and remarked with "It's so simple they would start a rebellion in House Maurice's turf and the taxes here are pissing me off. This is why I don't like greedy nobles. I may have bits of my memories back, but the nobles thing pissed me off because they oppressed the people..."

"That may be, but they are no fools. House Maurice has many enemies within and it has made them cunning. So how, then, could these rebels rise so easily?" Vira-Lorr added to the statement.

"This may lead to civil war, but at a bad time..." Jak frowned as he crossed his arms.

"The causetites be at 40 percent if this continues..." Clank theorized with a worried tone.

"Perhaps we should get our things ready to leave? I have a hunch that something bad will happen if we returned to Grungund." Vert advised.

Ellis nodded and said "That seems to be a wise course of action."
