Hey guys! This one is very very short, just so you know. I'm not been having to much time lately, and if i made these longer, it could take up to a month before updating. Sorry about that, guess real life takes a lot of time to deal with... For you who want the two of them to get together,
don't worry, they may have a brother/sister liked relationship right now, but remember, they are still just kids, they don't really know what love is yet, but they may find out sometime in the future..

New York, the big bright never sleeping city of possibilities, if you aren't two teenage mutant kids who are running away from some weirdo who wanna do experiments with you, and if you in the meantime don't have a pass, and just arrived by a lifesaving ship thingy, with people who in the beginning wanted to ignore you and let you drown, then a city this big and scary didn't have anything good to offer.
We had been on the little ship for about a week before we finally made it to land.
We said goodbye and leaved as fast as possible, hoping no one would stop us and ask us about id.
We walked around the streets for hours, not having the slides idea were to go now.
There were a lot of people, so we stayed as close to each other as possible.
After hours of walking around, and almost getting hit by a taxi twice, we finally stopped and sat down on a park bench.
We were both very hungry, but unfortunately, we didn't have any money, and stealing while the streets was filled with people was no option.
The only things with a little value we had was our necklaces, but none of us wanted to sell it.
We were hungry and frozen, and we didn't even have a place to stay for the night.
Not even a blanket to keep us warm, just nothing. We were in a very bad situation, we both knew that,
but didn't really say it aloud. The city was covered in snow, and we still didn't have any appropriate clothing.
We sat there without a word for a long time, before I finally broke the silence with a question.
"What do we do now?" I looked at him skeptical, while he just continued looking down.
"I don't know, I guess I'm losing all hope of ever finding your family, and if we do, we still won't be safe.
They won't stop searching for us, not until they get what they're looking for… I'm so hungry and tired Keety, why don't we just give up and let then capture us again?
Then we would at least survive." He asked as if he wanted me to give him permission to let then capture us,
and at that awful point, I knew he was just about to give it all up.
I went closer to him and gave him a hug, both to be able to share body heat with him, but also for comfort.
"Don't be stupid elf, you know there won't come anything good out of it. They only want us to be able to experiment with us.
Do you really want some stranger to cut your stomach open for science?"
"No, of cause not, but… I'm just too tired Keety… To, tired…" He slowly closed his eyes, as he let his head on my shoulder.
"No please, don't fall asleep, it's dangerous falling asleep in this cold, you may never wake up again..."
I desperately tried to wake him by words, as my body was getting too tired to move, and slowly, my eyes too shut close, and before I knew it,
I couldn't feel my body. I knew I had to stay awake to survive, but I was just too tired… too tired to stay awake anymore…
