Okay, so this one was really, really, really hard to write, and it might have some huge mistakes,
but all in all, i managed to finally write it down! I don't know if anyone out there are still reading this, but if you are...
Then thank you, i love you!
Warning: If you are a very sensitive person, then i will advise you to not reading this chapter,
and if you aren't to sensitive, then just.. continue to read... Like nothing happened...
I don't own x-men...
"Oh look, I think she's waking…" A almost manly voice stated, as I opened my sleepy eyes…
I woke with a banging headache, like if someone had played basketball with my head, and a feeling of having a minor fever, making me all that weaker, and if that wasn't all, five bad looking guys who probably was three to four years older than me, was looking at me in a very unpleasant way.
I was lying on an old and smelly mattress, in a room that seemed pretty much abandoned with boarded up windows and burned furniture's, and a weird smell, almost smelling like a mix of pee and sweat.
How did I end in a place like that you may ask, and where was the blue elf?
Well, the last thing I remembered was being very cold, almost deadly cold, then I blacked of, and then out of a sudden, I was there. I quickly sat up, which I highly regretted soon after, as my stomach protested by throwing up on one of the guys' shoes. He didn't get mad however; he just smiled and took a hand under my slimy chin, and whispered in my ear…
"It's okay girly, I forgive you. I guess almost freezing to death do such things to people. Just be happy we were there to help you and your little mutie friend. Now you owe us princess, you owe us a lot…"
"Who are you guys, and what did you do to my friend?!"
I tried to stand, but got pinned back down. I tried to phase myself out of their grip, but they were to strong, and I was apparently too weak and scared to get it to work.
"Don't worry, he's sleeping, and there's no reason to wake him… Now, about our deal, we saved you,
so you have to pay us back. Do you understand?"
"I owe you guys nothing! Now let me go!" I started to panic, and sweat began to run down my forehead.
He moved even closer to my face, but as his eyes met mine, I successfully sneezed him right in the face.
It was a true bulls-eye I tell you, it just couldn't have been done better! Not only did he have slime all over his face, I even manage to sneeze him right in his right eye. He hurriedly backed away from me while yelling words like "gross, it's all slimy!" and "I can't see!" all while trying to wipe snot of his ugly face. Then, another guy kneeled down and looked me in the eyes.
"Don't make this harder than it already is princess, you'll only end up hurting yourself. Now, if you really want us to let you go, you'll only have to do one little simple thing. Now, let me take of your cold clothes, and then I'll tell you more…"
"No way you pervert, stay away from me!" I kicked out after him, and surely hit his leg, but with so little power that it really didn't do anything else than prove what a weakling I was. One of the other guys started to unbutton my jeans, and I yelled as loud as I could, pegging them to stop, but then one of them made me quiet by pulling his disgusting mouth into mine, making it impossible to say a word, or breath for that matter. (And his bad breath didn't really help either.)It was so awful, but thankfully the other guys had a hard time in getting my pants unbuttoned, and before anything really wicked happened, the one door in the room swung open, and in came my savor
(or to be exact, the one I hoped would save me).
"W- was is happening in here! Keety, are they hurting you? And why are you laying on the floor?"
The one who was busy kissing me stopped in shock, and hurriedly stood up, ready to face my sick and sweating, but still incredibly strong and brave best friend. The others did too, except one, who now was holding a pocket knife a little too close to my throat.
"Oh, so you guys wanna fight? Fine, let's see if any of you are brave enough to face a demon in battle!"
A minor battle surely begun, but as fast as it started, as fast it ended. One got kicked into the wall,
another hit his head on a table, and a third got strangled by a tail. None of them ended up dead or anything, only unconscious. But, as I thought it was over, I realized that only three of them were lying beaten on the floor, and as one of them still was holding me, one was still inside the room, but not really able to see… Kurt then slowly moved closer to me, while wearing a serious and dangerous look on his face
"One step closer and she's dead, do you hear me!"
"And if you as much as thinks that again, it will be you who'll end up dead! Let the knife down, and I won't hurt you… Too much.."
Fuzzy moved closer, and so did the pocket knife, and as it did, I started to feel a little nausea again.
This might be my last breath, but then again, how many times hadn't I said that already, (and if I died that day, I wouldn't be alive right now to tell this story, right…) I could fell the sharp cold knife touch my skin, but even though I was scared to death already, I still managed to stay calm, and not even a whimper came out of me. First when I got my eyes on the one standing right behind Kurt with a sword in his hand, my eyes truly enlarged, as I just knew he didn't held it because he wanted to swallow it, as they used to do back in the circus, no, he wanted to kill elf, my elf! I wanted to scream and warn him, but if I did, it might end up being me who got her head cut of…
I gathered my thoughts as well as I could, as there still might be one last chance to save both of us.
I let out a deep breath, and as he was just about to swing the sword, I phased trough the psycho who was holding me, and only just got Kurt pushed away, as it instead of cutting his head right of, went through his left shoulder instead. The sword got pulled out as fast as it came in, and the man holding it now stood with blood on his hands. He then left the room in a hurry with the other guys right behind him. They had awakened some small minutes ago and had watched the bloody scene take place. Kurt let out a painfully cry as the wound started to bleed a lot, (and I who really hates blood…) he felt to the floor, and I had no idea what to do. I tried to stop the bleeding by applying pressure on it, using my sleeve. It was almost a deadly deep wound, for someone who didn't have access to any first aid at all. He kept complaining and yelling and crying, which made me more and more unsure what to do.
"Lay still and keep calm, we will find out of something. You'll be fine, I promise, everything is gonna be just fine… Just stay calm." I tried to sound as calm as possible, though I'm not sure that really succeeded,
and somehow, I think I said it more to myself than to him.
My sleeve was starting to turn red, but I didn't dare to remove my hand.
"Please, don't die, I need you! Stay awake for me please; I just can't go on without you… You are the only thing I have left… Heh, remember the first day we met? We didn't really understand each other, but I just knew I had to get to know you. I visited you every day in almost a month, before I finally helped you escape that awful prison they had got you into. Do you remember what happened next? We were all alone in the little city of Italia, running away from our pursuers, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, before Jamie came and saved us both. He gave his own life to save us… I remember how scared we were, when we went over the border to France, but even though we were scared, we still fooled around, shoving each other how amazing we were, not like freaks, just like to kids with these incredible powers…
We spend two years in France, fighting to get to America to find my long forgotten family members,
and maybe finally get to live in peace. We got captured, but managed to escape, we almost drowned,
but survived, we almost froze to death, but survived that too… Do you remember Olivia Kurt?
The one taking us in like we were her own kids? I can't help but feel guilty now for not at least leaving a note for her, telling her where we were heading…"
I started to cry, thinking once again that this might be the end of our journey, or at least his journey…
"You're strong elf, we'll find help for you! We have come this far, and it can't end like this! Not now…"
I let my head down on his good shoulder in defeat, realizing that not all endings ended with: "Happily ever after", and this one might just be one of those…
"D-don't cry Keety, I d-don't like s-seeing you cry… I l-like seeing you smile, it has always m-made me very h-h-happy…"
"I like seeing you smile too elf, and have been loving it ever since I first met you…"
I moved closer to him, finally accepting that this might be our last time together.
I kissed him. Not on the cheek, not on his forehead, but on his mouth. It was only one quick kiss,
and I felt terrible for kissing my (Not by blood) brother. We had made a pact, brother and sister forever,
but there were this strange feeling that had followed me the last couple of days, that I just couldn't escape from. It felt strange, and my stomach had been filled up with butterflies, but now, I was filled up with sorrow instead. I still kept my sleeve on the wound, and it was all red and wet by now. But then I realized, that it seemed like it finally had stopped bleeding. I couldn't believe it actually had worked, and suddenly felt that little bit of hope rising, though he still had lost a lot of blood...
It was then the door opened, and a red and curly haired little girl with a ton of freckles interred the room…
So, a cliffhanger! Will he survive? Leave a review, and i'll tell you in the next chapter!
