Jamie ran down the narrow hallway, coming to the end of it, where a double door was. He pushed them open, painting as he looked at the small group of guardians around a table in the center of the room.

"Is it true?" He yelled walking towards them, "I-no I can't believe it-not until I see it for myself."

"Jamie please calm down-"

"Calm down! Have you seen the news? You have to fix this, its Pitch, he's making Jack do this!" Jamie's face was one of anger.

"Look kid, we're doing what we can, but with Jack on his side…there's not much we can do to mate-"

"Bunny speaks zhe truth." North chimed in.

"I don't care!" Jamie's voice rose again. "You got him into this situation, now you need to fix it, and you're going to let me help this time."

"Not happening mate, there's no way you're leaving the pole, your safe here." Bunnymund was starting to get annoyed, he was human, and what did he think he could accomplish by running into an un-winnable battle?

"Yeah? For how much longer, I may be human but at least let me try and get through to Jack, obviously he's being controlled somehow." The room was silent for a few minutes, the four guardians exchanged looks between one another.

Tooth let out a hopeless sigh, breaking the silence, "He's right, we dragged Jamie into this mess because we believed he'd be able to help us somehow, maybe this is the way, by getting Jack back to normal." She paused and looked towards Jamie. "We don't have anything left to loose, we might as well let him give it a shot."

Jamie gave her a small smile and a nod. "Thank you."

"We'd better get ready then, for fight of our life." North stood tall, his chest raised a bit, his hand clenched in a fist at his side.

"The world thrown into chaos, darkness and everlasting winter. All thanks to us, to you Jack." Pitch's voice echoed across the snowy hillside. Jack stood, looking down across a small town, at the bottom of the hill he was standing atop. It was the middle of the day, but thanks to his snow storm it was causing the sky to be gloomy and dark, any normal human wouldn't be able to see much, let along two feel in front of them from how thick the snow was coming down. The town looked abandoned, but it wasn't, it was full of life, human stuck in their little cabins. Jack held his staff in hand, quietly, as flurries whorled around him. His once blue bright eyes where gold and hallow of emotion, his snowy white hair was jet black, his skin much more pale.

"They're getting closer, my storms not stopping them." His voice was cold, shallow, as he spoke. A gust of harsh wind rustled Jack's hair as Pitch stepped out of a dark sand cloud, next to him and placed his hand on Jack's shoulder.

" Let them, they have nothing left, why they bother coming is beyond me." He chuckled, they were fools, he had done it, and he had won. He had Jack on his side and the world was feeding them both the fear of nightmares and a frozen tundra. Jack turned his head to look at Pitch. "They believe they can still win, that they can stop us."

"And do you believe they can as well?" Pitch turned his attention to Jack, looking into his beautiful new golden eyes. Jack grinned and looked away. "No." Pitch's smile turned into a wide toothy grin.

"Good, now shall we go meet them?" Jack nodded, as Pitch slid his hand down from Jack's shoulder to the small of his back and around his waist, pulling him in close and a cloud of black and white dream dust swept them away.

"North you have to land!" Tooth was hold on to the railing, in her other arm was bunnymund and next to her, hanging on just as tightly was Jamie.

"I am trying! I cannot see what is ground and what is sky!" North bellowed as the sleigh was dropping and turning in the air. There was no pattern to the wind, it was hitting them from all directions, flowing freely. Jamie was looking around, trying to help, and trying to see anything that looked like a patch of land to set down on. "Wait, there!" He threw his head towards the direction, some feet in front of them to the right. He squinted his eyes a bit, seeing something that looked like a person, then a flash of blue. His eyes widened, "Look out!"

The sleigh shook violently, as if something had smashed right into it. The vibration was so powerful, Jamie's hands slipped, his grip being torn away from the only thing keeping him planted in the slight. The man yelled as he was swept out of the sleigh, into the air, the red vehicle barreling towards the ground now without him.

"JAMIE!" Tooth screamed, her head whipping around to see him get taken from the sleigh. "Go go go!" Bunny shouted, as Tooth set him on the floor of the sleigh, under the set and let go of the railing herself, flying up into the air. Tooth had to move fast, she could barely see him anymore, let alone get a good grip on flying in this weather.

Jamie was twisting and turning, trying not to freak out, but when he couldn't see the ground, it was a bit hard to keep calm. As he was being tossed around in the air, he looked for the red sleigh, but saw nothing but white flurry. His face was burning from the cold and wind now, he took a sharp breath in, about to yell, as something slammed into him hard, and clung to him.

"I've got you." Tooth clung her small body around Jamie, trying to gain some control over their movement, with her small wings working as hard and fast as she was able to muster up. She managed to get them to slow in speed just as Jamie yelled, "Look out!" Tooth gasped maneuvering to the right nearly missing a tree and both of them crashing to the ground. Luckily there was a few feet of snow, so the impact wasn't as hard.

Tooth was ripped away from Jamie from the force of the impact sending her rolling a ways away. Jamie grunted as he hit the ground and finally came to a stop. He pulled himself and his face up out of the snow, looking around frantically for Tooth. He stood on wobbly legs, gathering himself a bit.

"I can't believe they let a human come with them. Why would you risk your life for them?" A chilling voice rang out around Jamie.

"Jack?" He called out, it was his voice but it sounded different. "Jack please-stop this, I came here for you-to help you. This isn't you!" There were soft crunches in the snow before Jack became visible to Jamie, standing in front of him. Jamie starred, he looked so different. He went to take a step forward but was stopped by Jack's staff coming swiftly up to meet Jamie's face.

"You're wrong...this is who I am now, this is what's always been inside of me. I'm Jack Frost. I was a fool to believe I could be looked at from the light of laughter and fun. No one likes the cold Jamie." Jack tilted his head at the man.

"Your wrong Jack, I believed in you, I always have. You have to remember, the first time I saw you, finally saw you, how that felt-to be believed in, the joy you gave me-the other kids!" Jamie clenched his fists by his side. Jack stared, small pieces of memories flashed across his eyes and he blinked a few times, his staff lowing a bit.

"It was quite dangerous, coming here Jamie." Pitch spat out, walking up behind Jack. He wrapped his arms around his new favorite toy, resting his head on Jack's shoulder, staring Jamie down. The man glared at the monster controlling Jack.

"Whatever you've done to Jack, I'll get him back." He barked at Pitch.

"Will you? I do believe my powers are much stronger than your willpower boy." He chuckled pushing his cheek up again Jack's, who was giving Jamie a dangerous smile. Pitch moved his hand to Jack's chest and then up, lightly taking hold of his neck.

"You've lost, you and the guardians, though I don't know how much longer you'll be able to call them that. Haven't they lost all of their powers yet?" Pitch mused. Jamie did his best to ignore the dream demon slithering like a snake around Jack.

"Jack please-remember-please." There was frustration and pleasing to his words. Jack pulled his staff back, placing it on the ground and stared at Jamie. "Jamie I…" He held his mouth open, as if to say more, Jamie taking a step forward, his eye showing a glimmer of hope.

"I do remember-but it doesn't change anything." Jack's face turned dark, his eyes narrowing a bit, a wicked grin on his lips as Pitch let out a blood curdling laugh. Pitch stood back and moved around Jack towards Jamie.

"Let me show you just how bad the nightmare is that you've just walked into." His gold eyes swam with lust for more fear, the fear Jamie was trying so desperately to hide.
