Stephanie was relieved that Raw and Smackdown this week weren't too far from home because it meant she didn't have to get up at a ridiculous hour of the morning and it meant on Wednesday she wouldn't be arriving home really late into the night and getting very little sleep.
Shutting the final suitcase Stephanie turned around to see Mikey sat on the floor playing, "Mikey, we have to be leaving in ten minutes, why are you playing? I thought I told you to go and put your shoes on."
Frowning he threw his toy across the room before he got up and stomped out of the room.
Watching him throw his toy across the room she sighed, she could be ten times as stubborn as he could be and today he would regret tangling with her as she was already stressed enough knowing her Dad was going to be at the arena watching her work which meant she was also going to have to try and prevent him from cornering Hunter and letting slip to anyone what was going on. Picking the suitcase up she walked downstairs sighing when she saw Mikey sat on the couch looking really grumpy, "Mikey do you not want to go to the arena? I'm sure I can find somebody to watch you if you want to stay home rather than going to the arena with me and your Grandpa."
Mikey's eyes widened and he shook his head, "no Mommy, I wants to go to da 'rena please."
Setting the suitcase down she shook her head, "then you'd better do as I tell you to. We have to leave soon to pick Grandpa up and I really don't need you playing up but if you do then I will have to punish you by preventing you from going in the ring or worse depending on how bad you were."
Sliding off the couch Mikey immediately ran out of the room to go and get his shoes because he didn't want to not be allowed to go and play in the ring.
She knew threatening him with not being able to go in the ring would work and she was glad when it did as she didn't need the extra stress of trying to get him to behave also.
Just over ten minutes later and the limo had arrived and she was ready to leave but she couldn't find her son, "Mikey are you ready yet?"
Sighing when he came running out of the toy room she had no idea why he was carrying another toy, "Mikey I thought all of your toys were packed? What is so special about that one?"
"Poppy and Hunner can plays it wiv me."
Reluctantly she opened the suitcase and forced the new game to fit, "well there you go. Now can we leave?"
Nodding his head he clutched Bubbles and Monkey tighter and followed her out of the house.
Pulling up outside her parent's she grabbed hold of Mikey as he started to bounce on the seat, "sit nicely please, Grandpa will be out in a minute so just sit calmly please."
Vince had been watching out of the window for the limo and smiled when he saw it pull up outside. Picking up his coat he walked out of the house and went straight to the limo climbing inside and sitting beside Mikey, "thank you for allowing me to come with you today both of you, I really miss the arena so it will be nice to get back there and see everyone again."
"You won't be doing any work, you are under strict orders to not lift a finger otherwise I will send you back in the first mode of transport I can find even if it is a golf cart."
He laughed at her comment, "well consider me warned. I think Mikey has lots of big plans for me so I don't think I will have time to do any work anyway."
Mikey snuggled into his Grandpa, "Poppy we's go in da ring and we's play a game wiv Hunner."
Cuddling his Grandson he kissed the top of his head, "I like the sound of those plans but does Hunter know what you have planned for him?"
Shaking his head Mikey pouted, "no. Do you fink he'll say no?"
Stephanie sighed and glared at her Dad, if he told him no then she would quite literally kill him today.
Seeing the glare from his daughter Vince wasn't sure that he would give the correct answer but he knew what it was like to have a young child so he would try, "I think we'll have to ask him first and see if he has plans or if he is busy but I am sure if he has the time then he will happily spend a little time with you."
Mikey smiled brightly, "yays, I likes dat."
Ruffling his hair he chuckled, "I am sure you do."
The rest of the ride to the arena passed quite quickly with Mikey talking non stop about how excited he was to have his Poppy there at the arena with them.
When the limo pulled up outside of the arena Stephanie was relieved because it meant that Mikey would calm down a little. Stepping out of the limo she helped Mikey climb out, "stand there quietly for a minute please whilst Mommy gets the luggage."
Once all of the luggage was out of the limo she started to gather it all together when her Dad appeared beside her, "let me help you with some of that."
Raising her eyebrow she looked at him like he was crazy, "you do realise that you're not meant to be lifting a finger right? I'm not letting you help with the luggage, do I look stupid?"
"But I am sure Mikey will help me drag one suitcase into the arena. You can't really carry all of them can you?"
Stephanie was just about to open her mouth to reply when Mikey piped up, "I's help Poppy."
Aware that she wasn't going to win and not in the mood to fight all day long when she knew there was more important fights that would come up later in the day she reluctantly nodded her head, "okay fine, one suitcase between you and there is to be no lifting of it or you'll both be in time out."
Vince saluted his daughter, "yes Stephanie, whatever you say Stephanie."
Taking the handle of one of the suitcases he tilted it, "come on Mikey, let's show Mommy exactly how strong we are."
Rolling her eyes at her Father she watched as he walked off with Mikey dragging the suitcase behind them. Picking up all of the other luggage she followed them into the arena and towards her office.
Hunter sighed as his limo pulled into the arena parking lot, he had been up since four this morning and he was absolutely exhausted as he had been working non-stop for the past four days. Climbing out of the limo he grabbed his luggage from the driver and reluctantly made his way inside the arena.
As he walked into the arena he heard some of the guys talking just by the entrance and his attention was drawn to them when he heard Stephanie's name. Pausing to the side of them he pretended to look through his bags as if he was searching for something so he could hear exactly what they had to say. After a minute of standing there he had gathered all of the information he needed because he had heard them talking about Vince being back and them questioning whether Stephanie would be around ever again and he was pissed and right that second he was going to have it out with Vince.
