Walking into catering Stephanie and Trish both immediately went to the table with the coffee and got themselves a nice big cup of coffee before they sat down at a table in the corner of the room away from everything else.

Stirring her coffee Stephanie poured a sugar in needing a sugar hit to deal with the day, "so how are things with you Trish?"

Taking a sip of her coffee Trish shrugged, "everything's fine here, I have no complaints about anything. Enough about me though, what's going on with you? I have a feeling that I am missing out on some gossip."

Laughing she shook her head, "no gossip here, I have no time for any gossip so you're looking at the wrong person if you are desperate for gossip."

Raising her eyebrow Trish didn't believe her, "yeah, you see I have a small problem with that statement."

Rolling her eyes she should have known that she would, "of course you do. So tell me why exactly do you have a problem with that statement? You don't believe how dull my life is?"

Trish laughed, "to be quite frank no, I don't believe. I only have one thing to hang on to that makes me believe that you're lying to me but it is a massive thing."

"Oh come on Trish, just spit it out so I can work out exactly how crazy you are."

Throwing an empty sugar packet at Stephanie she laughed, "that is just cruel. My belief all hinges on the fact that you have a sparkle in your eye that wasn't there when you first returned."

Confused Stephanie looked at her strangely, "you are a complete nut case, I love you but you're crazy."

"Hey! That's not fair, it's true. Your eyes sparkle now, you seem happy and I want to know what has caused it because I thought after you found out that Hunter was dating then you would be pissed and he would be lucky to still have a job after he lied to you and fucked you around."

Sighing Stephanie realised that she couldn't and shouldn't keep this from Trish any longer as she had been so supportive of her since she returned, "okay fine, the truth is I am happier now, a lot happier."

Pulling herself closer to the table and closer to Stephanie Trish was incredibly excited to hear about her gossip. She knew that the reason wouldn't be Hunter so she would be happy to hear if she'd moved on from him seeing as he had done the same, "oh you are are you? So tell me, what or who has got you a lot happier?"

Biting down on her lip Stephanie played with the cup in her hand, "um, I've kind of been seeing someone."

Trish squealed and clapped her hands with excitement but stopped when Stephanie glared at her, "sorry, I'm just happy."

Laughing softly Stephanie shook her head, "I don't want everyone knowing about this, we're trying to keep this quiet and under the radar because we don't want people knowing about us."

Looking around to make sure that nobody was watching them or around to hear what was going on she was before she pushed her, "so who is he? The way you were talking then you made it sound like he was involved in the wrestling business."

Staring at the table she was nervous about telling her all of this, "he is."

Trish's eyes widened and she was shocked, "oh my God, who is he? You have to tell me who he is or I will ask around until I figure it out."

Laughing Stephanie lifted her head, "you wouldn't do that."

"Try me. Don't underestimate how far I will go to get myself some gossip and how far I will go to make sure that both you and Mikey are treated properly."

Sighing she knew she had to give in and tell her the truth, "do you promise not to tell anybody about who it is? If I were to tell you the name then you would have to promise on everything you hold dear including your career that you wouldn't tell a soul."

The secrecy that Stephanie wanted to employ in this situation made Trish a little nervous, "I swear on everything I hold dear that I won't tell anyone unless it's a bad thing then my promise means shit if I am worried about you and or Mikey."

Appreciative of Trish's honesty Stephanie nodded her head, "it's . . ." Lowering her voice to a whisper she wasn't about to let anybody hear, "Hunter."

Trish squealed and clapped her hands, "oh my God really? Are you serious that you're with him?"

Stephanie glared at her, "shhhh, shut your big mouth up please. The last thing we want is the entire locker room knowing about what is going on."

Zipping her lips Trish lowered her voice, "sorry, I'm just super excited about the two of you being together. How long have the two of you been back together?"

"A couple of weeks, things have been going really well."

Drinking some of her coffee Trish was so happy for her as she could see the happiness in her face as she talked about it, "I'm so glad the two of you got your act together and things got sorted between you. Does he know about Mikey?"

Shaking her head Stephanie sighed, "not yet. I know I probably should have told him and shit but I wanted to make sure things between us would work and to make sure for certain that he had changed and he has definitely changed and things are definitely working between us so I am considering telling him about Mikey soon."

"How do you think he'll take it?" She knew that Hunter knew that Mikey was his son so she knew that he would react pretty well as it wouldn't be a shock to him but she wanted to know what Stephanie thought.

Shrugging her shoulders Stephanie silently drank half of her cup of coffee, "I don't know. He's been really good about Mikey since we've been dating, he hasn't been around Mikey apart from at the shows because I wanted to keep the two things separate for Mikey's sake but earlier when he came bursting into the office randomly he picked Mikey up and even gave him a kiss so I'm hopeful that he would take it well but I am really not sure."

Trish was pleased to hear that Hunter was treating Mikey well still and he was being sort of loving towards him, "well if he really loves you and he has been good about Mikey so far then when you tell him the truth about Mikey he will hopefully take it well. Please bear in mind that it will probably come as a shock to him to hear that Mikey is his son so he may like get quiet and shit and may back away but please don't think the worst of him."

Sighing softly Stephanie nodded her head, ,"I know it won't go down well, I'm not stupid enough to believe that everything in the garden will be rosy when he finds out the truth but I don't want to lose him."

Reaching across the table Trish put her hands over Stephanie's, "you won't. If he loves you then he will be ecstatic to find out that he has a son."

"How can you be so confident?"

Shrugging her shoulders Trish wasn't about to tell her the truth, "because he has changed, he's not the hot headed asshole that he was before."

Downing the rest of her coffee Stephanie sighed, "well I'm glad one of us is confident that he won't up and leave me as soon as he finds out that I lied to him. I should get going back to work now though but thank you for the chat Trish, it is much appreciated."

Smiling Trish pushed her chair back and finished off her own coffee, "you are most welcome. Take care of yourself and if you need any help with Mikey you know where I am."

"I do, thanks Trish."

Grabbing her coffee cup Stephanie threw it in the trash as she walked past it on her way back to her office.
