After sending her Dad home following Raw Stephanie still had Smackdown to deal with and luckily for her it went well and there were no major dramas but when it ended she was wishing it would go on a little longer as she was really not looking forward to Friday knowing how busy she was going to be.

Luckily for Stephanie Mikey was really good all week and made things really easy on her. Arriving at the babysitter's early on Friday morning she helped Mikey out of the car, "so you promise you will be good for Jody today? You know Mommy has a lot on today and she really doesn't want to pick you up later and be told that you have been naughty."

Frowning Mikey looked up at his Mom, "I be's good, I always good."

Laughing softly she bent down and kissed the top of his head, "I know but Mommy's always have to tell their kids that they expect them to be good."

Knocking on the door she was relieved when Jody answered and was friendly and warm seemingly really relaxed around Mikey so it made her feel easier about leaving him with her, "you have my phone number and you know where I am if there are any problems."

Nodding her head Jody was certain that there wouldn't be any, "we'll be fine, just relax and don't worry because we'll be having a lot of fun."

That would be easier said than done but she had to leave, "I'll try. I've got to go now Mikey though, be good and I will see you tonight."

Mikey quickly hugged his Mom before he watched as she walked away leaving him to go inside with the strange lady.

Arriving at the office Stephanie sighed when she saw her Secretary sat at her desk, "I'm not late am I?"

"No you're not, I'm just a little early as I knew you had a really busy day."

Groaning Stephanie didn't need the reminder, "please refrain from reminding me about that. I have left Mikey with a babysitter called Jody for the day so if she calls and it is important please put the call through immediately."

Nodding her head Jennifer smiled softly, "of course. I will let you know when your first meeting arrives."

Walking into her office Stephanie dropped her bag onto the floor and collapsed into her seat getting her things out making sure she was ready for the first meeting.

Mid-morning and halfway through Stephanie's second meeting and Jennifer was just hanging up the phone when the elevator dinged and she saw Mikey walk off with a random woman that she had never seen before. Pushing her chair back she stood up and walked around her desk, "Mikey, what are you doing here?"

Mikey ran towards Jennifer wrapping his arms around her as best he could when he reached her, "yay."

Hugging the little boy she looked up at the random woman, "can I help you?"

Jody sighed softly, "I hate to do this but unfortunately I can't watch Mikey any longer. I have to go to the hospital as my sister was in a bad car accident and there is a chance she may die. Please tell Stephanie that I'm sorry and I won't charge her anything."

Nodding her head Jennifer had no idea how she was going to keep Mikey occupied all day but she was going to have to as Stephanie couldn't rearrange any of her meetings as they were all important and she had been putting them off long enough as it was, "I hope your sister isn't too badly hurt but I will let Miss McMahon know and I am sure she won't hold it against you."

Walking Mikey around to the other side of her desk she took a seat and lifted him into her lap, "you're going to have to be my little assistant today."

Mikey clapped his hands, "yay, I likes that."

Jennifer chuckled, "glad you like it, I need lots of help today as your Mom is really busy."

Stephanie was relieved when her meeting ended glad that her second meeting was done with but knowing she had a number still to go didn't fill her with great joy as she was kind of hungry and she knew full well that she wouldn't have time to eat until dinner later. Opening the door to her office to let her client out she was taken aback when she saw Mikey sat on Jennifer's lap. Saying goodbye to her client she walked over to the desk, "now correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you not supposed to be here today?"

Jennifer frowned not sure if she was about to get into some sort of trouble for letting him be there, "Jody came by and said that her sister had been in a major accident and her life was hanging in the balance so she had to get to the hospital."

Sighing Stephanie could scream right now, it was just her luck that on the one day she needed someone that an emergency would happen and she would be stuck. Rubbing her face with her hand she sighed, "what on Earth am I going to do with you today? I have so much to do and nobody to find to watch you."

Mikey shrugged, "I be goods."

Jennifer sighed softly, "I will watch him, I'm sure we will be fine."

Frowning she didn't like the idea of putting it all on her, "I can't ask that of you, Mikey is my responsibility and I have to take care of him."

"Seriously Stephanie it's okay. You don't have time to worry about Mikey so just let me do it for you because I don't mind."

Stephanie was about to argue with her when the person she was meeting with next arrived and it would look even more unprofessional if she was arguing with her Secretary than it did having her son in the building, "we will talk about this later."

Turning around she smiled politely at the gentleman she was meeting with, "good morning, please go straight in."

Hunter was sat at home on Friday morning bored out of his mind, he had spoken to Stephanie a couple of times but he missed seeing her. Remembering what she had told him about not having time for lunch he decided to do the boyfriendly thing and take her some lunch, he wasn't really worried if he got into trouble with her over it but he didn't like the idea of her not eating all day and he would find a way to bluff his way through it if anybody asked questions.

Getting up from his seat on the couch he picked up his wallet and keys before he headed out of the house to go and pick her up some lunch and drop it off at the office. Even if he couldn't see her to know that he had done something that potentially would be helpful to her was good enough for him.
