The prisoner
Chapter twentyone: Styx and stones can break my bones
Everyone was freaking out. The final battle was at hand and to make things worse their two best warriors had just vanished from the face of the camp.
Harry materialised in the Underworld, on the outskirts of the EZ Death line, erupting into his Rider form, he shoved through the line, past Cerberus and into the Underworld. Little did he know that Percy and Nico had just entered from Central Park after visiting May Castellan and getting Sally to give her blessing for the most clinically insane task of 'Achilles heal'.
"Ah, Harry what brings you to my abode?" Called Hades in a booming voice from atop his throne. Harry bowed to one of his fathers "Two of the balance are fucking with me. Lady Demeter. Persephone." He finished bowing to the Elder god and not paying any attention to other.
Harry smirked and incinerated the vines that Persephone was subtly manipulating with the intent to strangle him. "Persephone, stop killing my champions. What brings you here my child?" Questioned Hades curiously because Harry was one of the more independant demi-gods that didn't pray for his parents to intervene.
"Sammael and Azrael have stitched me up and given me back my Ghost Rider abilities." Stated Harry erupting into flames causing Hades to narrow his eyes.
"Unfortunately, I can't do a thing about them unless you're willing to die." He replied causing Harry to chuckle darkly.
"I'm not afraid to...I'm afraid of Katie." Came Harry's reply causing the two elder immortals to laugh. Demeter couldn't help but grin at the man before her.
"You are far more suitable than most men and an even better son of Hades than I would expect...We wish you good fortune young warrior...Don't forget to eat cereal." She ordered to which Harry saluted her, bowed to his father and fell into the shadows.
Just as Harry left, Nico and Percy entered an argument broke out and Nico was sent to his room and Percy into a jail cell. 'Just my luck, we are about to go to war and that little shit betrays me.' He thought savagely.
Riptide hadn't reappeared in his pocket yet but then a door appeared in the obsidian wall revealing Nico. Nico filled with fantac energy pulled Percy out of the jail cell and manipulating his skills of necromancy like Harry had taught him put the guards to sleep with minimum drain and hauled Percy towards the Styx.
Harry arrived back at Camp and began loading up his bike with bombs, traps and extra weaponry curtesy of the Hepheastus cabin who were working over time to forge extra munitions for the upcoming war.
"This is going to be fun." Crowed a vindictive Hermes camper who gulped when Harry heard him and slammed him up against the closest cabin which happened to be the Ares cabin.
"Say that again when you've got your guts spilling out of your belly...I dare you." Harry snarled before dropping the boy and finished his packing.
Meanwhile with the demigods packing supplies, Sirius and Remus were in the kitchen of the flat brewing potions, prank items and preparing extra medical kits. They could smell the winds of war having participated in one themselves. "We will do what we can do to assist them Moony don't worry. I'll drop by my contacts and pick up some more explosives." Said Sirius standing up after bottling the last of the blood replenisher.
Meanwhile Percy had climbed out of the River Styx looking like Harry had roasted him with the flames of hell. He now resembled something akin to a walking roast dinner. Soon enough a small strike force consisting of British Red Coats, World War Two Germans and Holy Roman knights surrounded Hades.
Percy uncapped Riptide, screamed and the Styx exploded. Percy felt the bullets miss him and the swords bounce off his skin or shatter. He swung his sword with speed and grace that only training and experience could provide. The red coats crumpled, the germans disintegrated and the horsemen fell to pieces as Percy jumped into Hades chariot deflecting a blast of energy similar to a lightsaber does a blaster.
Eldest god and Demigod fell off the chariot with Percy holding Hades firmly by the lapels "Now, lets talk."
