It had been a few hours since Hunter had left her office and Stephanie had managed to get a lot of work done but she had promised Mikey he could go in the ring and she wanted to talk to Trish so she was hopeful of killing two birds with one stone. Pushing her chair back from her desk she smiled at Mikey, "so what would you say about going down to the ring for a bit?"

Nodding his head eagerly Mikey wanted to, "yay. Cans we go now?"

Laughing she stood up, "well that was the idea. If the ring is being used though you might not be able to go in just yet though okay?"

Nodding his head he looked hopeful, "but if's da ring is busy we can sees Hunner."

Taking his hand she just led him out of her office not daring to answer that.

Hunter was ringside with Jericho, Trish and Lita because he and Jericho had volunteered to help the girls go through a few moves for their match later in the evening so were currently ringside helping with that.

As Stephanie led Mikey out onto the stage she noticed Hunter ringside and couldn't help but smile a little seeing her boyfriend there. Before she had chance to say a word to Mikey he had slipped his hand out of hers and ran down the ramp screaming with excitement seeing his favourite people there, "yay!"

Hearing Mikey scream Hunter turned around and laughed seeing Mikey flying towards them and knelt down just in time to catch him as he flew into his arms, "hi there."

Mikey held onto him tightly and squealed as Hunter picked him up and placed him sat on the apron. Pulling away from the hug he smiled at Hunter as he held his two monkeys really close to him, "fank 'oo Hunner. Cans I gets in da ring p'ease?"

Hunter looked over Mikey's shoulder at the girls who both nodded his head so he turned his attention back to the little boy, "you sure can."

Carefully helping Mikey he watched him climb through the ropes watching as he ran straight for Trish before he took a step back and laughed at him as Stephanie joined him and Jericho at ringside.

As soon as Mikey let go of Trish Jericho said to him, "so don't you like Lita and myself?"

Mikey looked at Jericho and frowned, "I do likes you Jerky, I likes Hunner and Tishy more."

Hunter couldn't help but laugh at that, "hear that Jerky, he likes me and Trish better."

Jericho glared at Hunter, "shut up."

Stephanie made sure she was between the two of them, "now now you two, no fighting in front of the children. Trish and Lita are you sure it's okay for Mikey to be in the ring for a little?"

Trish nodded, "absolutely, Lita wanted Jericho and Hunter to help her with a move so we were going to take a quick break and then they were going to help her so there's no problem for Mikey to be in the ring for ten minutes."

Seeing this as her opportunity she nodded her head, "well thank you. Is there a possibility that I could have a moment to talk to Trish and you three could just watch Mikey please?"

Trish was nervous hearing Stephanie say that she wanted to talk to her, that couldn't be good so when Jericho and Hunter slid in the ring she knew they were okay with it so she climbed out. Jumping down onto the floor she walked over to Stephanie, "what did I do?"

Stephanie looked at the ring nervously making sure Mikey was in safe hands and they were watching him closely before she turned her attention back to Trish, "it's nothing bad, I just need a word in private with you so we'll go out onto the floor away from here and everyone okay?"

Raising her eyebrow she didn't know what was so private that they needed to talk about but she nodded her head slowly, "sure."

Stephanie led Trish out onto the floor away from the ring so she knew they would have privacy but so she could still see the ring before she turned to look at Trish, "I just want to reiterate that you have done nothing wrong, this is all about me."

Trish pushed her hands into her pockets, "umm okay. I know you're leaving because your Dad is coming back so if you are trying to tell me about it then don't worry, I already know."

Shaking her head Stephanie smiled softly, "actually it is all about my love life."

"You have a love life?"

Laughing she nodded, "yes I do, don't be so rude."

Trish laughed, "well I had to ask, last time I asked you didn't have one."

Chewing on her lip she nodded, "I know, I lied. The thing is I was so afraid back then that I couldn't be honest with you, I was barely able to be honest with myself so I am sorry that I have lied to you for so long."

Confused Trish really didn't get what Stephanie was going on about, "can I please have this in English?"

Taking a deep breath she blurted it out, "I'm dating Hunter."

Trish squealed with excitement which caused Jericho, Lita and Hunter in the ring to look over towards them to make sure they weren't fighting and once they were satisfied that they weren't they turned their attentions back to Mikey.

Blushing at the way Stephanie was looking at her Trish looked down at the floor nervously, "I'm sorry about that. So were you the woman he went on a date with?"

Nodding her head Stephanie smiled, "yeah, it was me. I swore him to secrecy because I didn't know how it was going to go and I just wanted to take things slowly between us and we've taken the step of telling Mikey that we're together and Hunter knows the truth about Mikey so you know, we'll just see how things go."

Hunter's behaviour made sense now and his desperation to know that she wouldn't tell Stephanie that he had known about Mikey for a while because Stephanie had told him. Trish was pleased for Stephanie though, she was really pleased to hear that the two of them had got their act together and they were working things out, "so does that mean you'll be back and forth to the arenas spending some time with Hunter?"

Shaking her head she had no plans to tell anyone else about them, "actually not really. We have no plans for me to be here at the arenas more than when the show is in the area because we want to keep work and our relationship entirely separate."

Trish could understand that but it made her a little sad to know that she wouldn't see Mikey and Stephanie more regularly, "okay, I guess that is fair enough but it doesn't mean I have to like it."

Stephanie laughed, "you know my door is always open to you and you're welcome to come by whenever you're in the area."

Shrugging her shoulders it still sucked, "yeah but I'd feel like I was intruding on family time for the three of you."

"Oh please, you could watch Mikey and Hunter and I could go on a date. You really don't need to worry, Mikey adores you and would be sad if he didn't see much of you so you've got to come by when you can."

Trish surrendered, "well in that case I can't say anything but 'okay' can I?"

Shaking her head Stephanie smiled, "nope you can't. So what do you think about what I told you?"

"I think it's great news, you know I have been bugging you to give Hunter another chance so to hear that you have and to know that you're happy makes the death glares I got worthwhile."

Stephanie laughed and looped her arm through Trish's, "well now you know the truth let's get back to the ring to make sure the boys don't gang up on Lita."

Trish smirked, "I'd be more worried about them ganging up on Hunter or Jericho if I were you."

The girls laughed as they walked back to the ring together to check up on the boys and Lita.
