Kyoya had to get away from Haruhi for awhile, and he had to make sure that Tamaki didn't have a breakdown.

Kyoya had been the one to suggest a date night, and make the reservations for it.

It had been a long time since Kyoya and Tamaki had went on a date.

Their arms were entwined as they stepped out of the limo to go inside the restaurant.

It was a nice change to eat out with just the two of them.

While in the establishment, Tamaki insisted that they hold hands.

He had even given Kyoya the puppy eyes that no one could resist.

Kyoya had relented.

"Are you sure that they won't try anything on our little girl?" Tamaki asked his boyfriend.

"Haruhi is old enough now to know better." Kyoya told his male lover.

Tamaki relaxed slightly, though he still didn't like it that Hikaru and Kaoru were staying the night.

"I don't want her to grow up." Tamaki pouted.

Kyoya sighed at that.

"Everyone grows up at some point." Kyoya had a feeling that he would have to say that many more times to Tamaki.

"I know." Tamaki seemed to pout more than he was before.

Kyoya really did not want to talk about Haruhi on their date, so he steered the conversation away from his daughter.

He quickly recalled that Tamaki was some sort of goofy romantic, and Kyoya enjoyed being around such a man.

The date passed much too quickly for both of the men, and they had to go home to check up on Haruhi, and he three friends that had stayed the night.

The sight that awaited them in Haruhi's room would ruin their night.
