"What did she say?" Zelena asked when Regina walked in.

"She's suspicious, but she seems to have bought the doctor story." Regina said, sitting down. "What about Lily? Did she do any magic tricks while I wasn't here? Where is she anyway?"

"Well, you see, uhmmm."

"Zelena! Talk."

"Okay." She said and took a deep breath. "Lily used magic and then disappeared and now Rumplestilstkin and the thief are out looking for her." She said in one breath.

"Wha-? Why didn't you call me?!" Regina demanded, getting up, ready to head after Lily.

"Because I knew you were going to react that way. I am not letting you leave this room if you don't calm down." Zelena said and as if to proof her point, she grabbed Regina's wrist.

"I can't calm down, she could be anywhere! Hell, she could be in Wonderland for all we know!"

"Hey! Don't you think that I'd freak out if I thought they won't find her? Rumple was your teacher, he taught you everything you know but not everything he knows. Give them fifteen minutes and if they are not back by then, then you can start poof-ing all over the town." Zelena said in a tone that meant it was not up for discussion.

"I can't just sit around and wait." Regina commented but sat back down anyway.

"Do you want me to get you something to eat?" Zelena asked, knowing that the most of the time Regina was nervous or upset she'd eat.

"Yes, please."

"Belle, watch her." Zelena said and left the room.

*flashback*

"Where did she go?" They heard Robin's panicked question.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean Lily, she was right here and then she disappeared, it seemed much like what Regina was doing, only white rounded Lily not purple."

"Rumple?" Zelena asked, not having to say one more word.

"I'm on my way." He said and disappeared in a round of red smoke.

"You make yourself useful, go check around the town for places she might have gone to." Zelena ordered and Robin obliged.

"Belle, what am I going to do? I don't have my magic, I don't know the town as well as everyone else does. I want to help but I don't know how."

"Hey, hey, you can help, we're going to wait for Regina to come back and then you can calm her down, make her believe that they'd find her."

"They will… They have to."

*End flashback*

"Here, the best things that I could find in those vending machines." Zelena said and put ten different candies in front of Regina. Regina looked like she was going to say something more, but she closed her mouth and took one chocolate bar.

"How did she disappear? I mean what happened?"

"We don't know, Robin said she disappeared in a same manner you do, except white smoke was rounding her, not purple. We didn't go into details, we just reacted." Belle said.

"So, no one but Robin knows exactly what happened?" Regina asked and both Belle and Zelena nodded in response.

"Well, that's just great." Regina said sarcastically.

"What's with that? I thought you two were going to get together again."

"I haven't seen him in three years, he didn't see me in three years, I've changed and I'm sure he did too. We can't just go back together, not yet, anyway, we'll catch up and we'll get to know each other again." Regina said and took another bite from her bar. Zelena went to take another chocolate bar that was unopened but Regina slapped her hand away.

"None for you, you're supposed to be mad at me, remember?"

"Ha-ha! Very funny… I'm not mad at you, not anymore."

"You're not?"

"No… and by the way, I paid that!" She said and successfully took the candy she was going after.

"I'm glad you came." Regina said, surprising them both with the softness in her voice.

"I'm glad I came, too."

The trio fell into a comfortable silence, around ten minutes later Rumple came in, carrying Lily with him, Robin following close behind.

"Lily!" Regina took her from Rumple and put her on her hip, her head on her shoulder. "What did I say about magic?"

"No?" Lily asked carefully as if she was checking it with her.

"Yeah, I said no, then why did you use it?"

"I'm sorry, mommy." She said quietly and then she noticed Zelena there. "Auntie Zelena!" She said excitedly and went to her.

"Thank you, for bringing her back." Regina said to Rumple.

"You're welcome."

"Where was she, anyway?" Regina asked.

"Umm, she, uh, she was at your family mausoleum, I found her next to Henry's coffin."

"Do you still think she is able to control her magic? She didn't even know about that place." Regina said, getting a little irritated.

"I think she is partially able to control it."

"Well, partially is not good enough for me, what happens if next time we can't find her? If she disappears while she's sleeping or if anyone else found out? 'The daughter of the evil queen has magic', I can already see angry mobs."

"We are not going to let that happen, okay? We'll keep her safe." Surprisingly it wasn't Rumple who said it, it was Robin.

"Can you promise me that she'll be safe? Can you promise that no one else will find out? Can you promise that she'll just somehow learn how to control the disappearing?" At the silence she got, she knew the answer. "Yeah, that's what I thought. We'll leave when Zelena does, once her 'leave of absence' is over, like we were going to in the first place." Regina said, turning her back at him, so that she could watch Zelena and Lily.

"Say 'hi' to mommy." Zelena said to Lily once she noticed Regina watching them. "Hi, mommy." Lily said and waved at Regina.

"Everything okay?" Belle asked and Regina nodded.

"Regina, I think we need to discuss this." Robin said and she turned around once again.

"Nothing you could say can change my mind."

"Then I won't say a thing." He said and pulled her in for a kiss, he tried to get everything in that one that he wanted to say, he wanted her to stay, he wanted her to give them another chance, he wanted her to know that he still loved her. Regina was shocked at first but then she relaxed and kissed him back.

"Oi! Child present here!" Zelena called from her chair, but she made sure Lily couldn't see anything. At that they broke apart and just stared at each other's eyes.

Regina wanted to stay, she wanted to so badly but she couldn't, she had to protect her child. "I can't." She said, her voice breaking a little. "I love you, I do… but my child comes first. I want… I want this to work, I want to stay, I want for her to have a father but I can't put her in anymore danger." She said and backed away a little.

"Can I still see her?"

"Of course you can. Just tell me when." Regina said and then watched him leave the room.

"I'm fine." She said when she saw Zelena approaching her and giving Lily to Rumple.

"Aren't you always?" She said but went and hugged her anyway. Regina used magic to transport them into her living room and there she started to cry.

"I'm fine." She repeated and start to sob.

"It's okay, everything is going to work out in the end." Zelena tried to comfort her. "I know exactly what you need… Wait, here." Zelena said and went into the kitchen. After several minutes, she entered again with a big bowl of popcorn. She handed the bowl to Regina and asked "Where's your movie collection?" Regina pointed at the wooden box under the TV. Zelena went through them and found one she particularly liked.

"Alice in Wonderland? Seriously?" Regina asked when she saw Zelena put the DVD into the player.

"Yes, Helena Bonham Carter is playing Cora, well, she's not Cora, but you get what I mean."

"Well, I guess that now we can say that Bellatrix Lestrange played our mother." Zelena chuckled at that and went to sit next to Regina on the couch.

"Shush, it's starting."

I haven't watched 'Alice in Wonderland' in such a long time and I think that Helena Bonham Carter played either The Red Queen or The Queen of Hearts, let just say it's Cora… Review or PM me and tell me what you think… -K
