I'm so sorry this wasn't posted yesterday as I had planned. I wasn't feeling well and got distracted before I actually posted it and nobody reminded me on twitter so yeah, I'm sorry.

It had been nearly a week since Hunter had stayed over at Stephanie's and things had taken a nice progression between them and they were talking about doing it more regularly when Hunter had time off.

After spending a lot of the week thinking about his relationship with Stephanie and having the day off as it was a pay-per-view weekend Hunter had made a decision and there was something he wanted to do today whilst he had the time.

Arriving at Stephanie's he walked to the front door and was just about to knock when the door flew open and Stephanie was stood in front of him, "you're psychic."

Jumping when she saw Hunter stood in front of her she put her hand to her chest, "Jesus Christ, what are you doing here?"

Before he had chance to reply Mikey was hugging him tightly, "Yays, Daddy's here."

Hugging his son he smiled at his girlfriend, "I was just coming over to see if I could take Mikey out for the day to give you a break and you can just relax and do nothing."

"Well as nice as that would be I have to get these papers to Dad and that is where we were just heading now."

Shrugging his shoulders he wanted to see Vince anyway, "a small detour to Vince's won't do us any harm will it Mikey?"

Mikey shook his head, "nopes. I wants ta go wiv Daddy."

Sighing softly she looked from her boyfriend to her son and back again, "okay, I guess I could do with some time to relax."

Clapping his hands excitedly Mikey jumped up and down, "yays. Comes on Daddy."

Laughing Hunter shook his head, "not so fast. First you've got to give your Mom a big hug and kiss and tell her you love her."

Running back to his Mom he threw his arms around her neck as she bent down to his level and he kissed her cheek, "loves you Mommy. We's be back later."

Chuckling she kissed her sons cheek, "be a good boy for your Daddy, he will tell me if you're not."

Nodding his head he let go of the hug and walked back to Hunter's side.

As soon as his girlfriend stood back up Hunter stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her waist and pressed a quick kiss to her lips, "I love you."

Hugging her boyfriend she sighed happily before they pulled apart, "I love you too. Be careful and tell my Dad I'm sorry that it's late."

Smiling softly he took Mikey's hand, "will do. Come on Mikey, we have lots to do today."

Leaning against the door she sighed softly as she watched Mikey skip to the car before Hunter got him settled and then climbed in himself and pulled off. Watching as they pulled off she walked back inside the house and shut the door, now to find something to do with herself for the day.

Twenty minutes later and he pulled up outside the McMahon's mansion, "ready to go and see your Grandpa for five minutes?"

Nodding his head Mikey bounced in his seat, "I hasn't seen Poppy in aaaaagggggggeeeeesss."

Laughing Hunter climbed out of the car before he grabbed the file and then helped Mikey out of the car, "come on then, let's go and see Poppy."

Running up the stairs to the front door Mikey started knocking impatiently, "Poppy! Comes on Poppy."

Laughing Hunter shook his head, "stop knocking the door Mikey, your Grandpa will answer in a minute."

Vince had heard the car pull up in the driveway and knew it would be Stephanie and Mikey because she said she'd be over early so he had made his way to the door ready to open it. Standing behind the door he smiled when he heard Mikey's voice but frowned when he heard Hunter's, why was he here and where was his daughter?

Pulling open the door he smiled when his Grandson immediately hugged him, "you're getting so big on me, soon you'll be as tall as me."

Mikey laughed as he hugged his Grandpa, "miss you Poppy."

Hunter smiled as he watched them, "Mikey says he hasn't seen you in ages."

Vince laughed and nodded his head, "oh yeah it's been forever, I last saw him on Wednesday. So what is it I can do for you Hunter?"

Holding up the file of papers he waved them, "Steph asked me to drop these off and she said she's sorry that they're late."

Taking the papers Vince shrugged his shoulders, "doesn't bother me that they're late really, I just needed them by Monday. So what do you have planned for today with my favourite Grandson?"

Shrugging his shoulders he actually had no clue, "I'm not sure yet but I did want to talk to you, well technically it was the both of you."

Curious Vince motioned Hunter inside, "well come in and we will have a seat in the lounge and we'll hear you out won't we Mikey?"

Nodding his head Mikey grabbed his Dad's hand, "comes on Daddy, I shows you where it is."

Chuckling Hunter let him lead him to the lounge even though he knew the way already.

Vince shut the door before he followed them into the lounge intrigued by what was going on.

Once they were all sat comfortably in the lounge Vince turned his attention to Hunter, "so what exactly is it that you wanted to talk to me, or us, about?"

Taking a deep breath he wasn't sure if Vince was going to kill him but he had to do this because he wanted to prove himself to her, "I want to propose to Stephanie, I want both of yours permission to propose to her."

Mikey was confused, "pwopose? What's dat?"

Turning his attention to Mikey he put it simply, "I want to ask her to marry me and be my wife."

"Mommy was your wife"

Nodding his head Hunter smiled at his son, "she was my wife but then we split up and we got divorced which meant she wasn't my wife any longer and I want her to be my wife again."

"Woulds you live wiv us?"

Chuckling he nodded his head, "or you guys would live with me. That would be things to be decided in the future though if your Mommy agreed and your Poppy agrees to me asking her."

Turning his attention to his Grandpa Mikey stared at him, "what ya fink Poppy?"

Vince smiled at his Grandson, "I think my daughter has been very happy since she got back together with Hunter and he has been a changed man recently and I would be honoured to have him as my son-in-law again."

Mikey smiled brightly, "yays, this'll be so cool."

Hunter laughed, "that's if your Mom agrees to marry me, there is no saying she will."

"She will, I wants her to."

Vince shook his head at his Grandson, "I don't think things work out quite like that Mikey."

"Your Grandpa is right Mikey. We had better get going though, we have some fun to be had and we should let your Grandpa get back to enjoying his weekend in peace."

Vince stood up as Hunter did and was quickly followed by Mikey, "so what are you two going to do?"

Hunter shrugged, "not sure yet. I was thinking of taking Mikey to the arcade with all of those games in because I thought it might be quite fun and then somewhere else but it is a secret where."

Chuckling the older man nodded his head, "well you two have fun and give my love to your Mom Mikey."

Nodding his head Mikey took his Dad's hand as they walked out of the house and back to the car.
