Hunter settled himself in the locker room and was going through his bag getting out his gear and his track pants along with his boots and was thinking of changing but checked his phone instead to see if Stephanie had texted him to say they had arrived and she had not, he was hoping she hadn't had second thoughts.

When there was a knock at the door he got up to answer it as everyone else was too busy playing video games. Pulling open the door he smiled seeing Trish stood there, "got bored of waiting for them?"

Laughing softly she shook her head, "I came to deliver a message. Your presence is being requested in Vince's office."

Groaning he ran his hand over his hair, "fantastic. I haven't even done anything wrong yet and already I'm being called in to see the boss, this is a good omen for my day."

Trish smirked not willing to tell him who it really was that wanted him, "well you don't want to keep him waiting."

Rolling his eyes he shook his head at her, "don't rub it in or I'll rub my fist into your face."

Laughing she shook her head, "well somebody is clearly very cranky today, try not to punch Vince."

"No promises there."

Walking off he went to find Vince's office to see what he had done wrong now.

Mikey was skipping alongside his Mom as they went to find his Grandpa's office, he was so excited to see his Dad when Trish got him.

Finding her Dad's office Stephanie quickly grabbed Mikey's arm before he could skip on ahead of her, "we're here." Turning to the door she knocked waiting for him to allow them in.

Busy with his work when he heard a knock at the door Vince quickly said, "come in."

Opening the door Stephanie ushered Mikey inside, "hi Dad."

Vince smiled at his daughter, "well if it isn't my favourite two people."

Mikey pouted, "Daddy's not here yet."

It was Vince's turn to pout, "so you're not happy to see me? Well that hurts."

Running over to his Grandpa he quickly threw his arms around him, "course I'm happy to sees you Poppy."

Chuckling Vince hugged his Grandson before he picked him up and sat him in his lap, "I am happy to hear that because you wouldn't want me to ban you from the ring for being mean would you?"

Mikey shook his head violently, "nopes. I be goods, I's happy to sees you."

Smiling he kissed the side of the little boy's head, "good."

Stephanie rolled her eyes at her Dad as she took a seat on the couch, "don't encourage him."

"I will do whatever I want thank you very much. I am the boss around here not you."

Groaning she rested her head back, "why do you always pull the 'boss' card, it's boring."

Laughing at his daughter's reaction he shrugged, "because I can and because it is fun for me to see your reaction."

Crossing her arms under her chest she ignored him as he turned his attention to Mikey.

A couple of minutes after Stephanie and Mikey had arrived there was a knock at the door, "hmm, who's that now?" Turning his attention to the door Vince said, "come in."

Hearing Vince allow him entry Hunter pushed the door open, "my presence was requested."

As Hunter pushed the door closed behind him Mikey slid of his Grandpa's lap and ran towards him, "Daddy!"

Smiling Hunter picked his son up as his reached him and swung him around in a circle, "Mikey! You got here safely then."

Nodding his head Mikey kept a tight grip on his Dad as he held him close, "yups. Cans we goes down to da ring p'ease?"

Shrugging his shoulders Hunter set Mikey back down on the floor, "I don't know. Your Mom isn't in charge any more so we have to get permission from your Grandpa."

Turning to his Grandpa Mikey gave him his puppy dog eyes, "cans I goes in da ring p'ease?"

Chuckling at the look he received Vince nodded his head, "of course, as long as nobody else is using it."

Sitting down on the couch beside his girlfriend Hunter leant across and kissed her softly, "hi."

Moving to lean against her boyfriend she smiled softly, "hi."

Picking Mikey up to sit him on his lap he wrapped his arm around his girlfriend's shoulders, "you okay?"

Resting her head on his shoulder she nodded her head, "yeah, just a little nervous."

"About?"

Shaking her head she looked over at her Dad who was watching them intently before she turned back to Hunter and rested her head back down, "not now."

Wanting to get Hunter alone Vince looked at his daughter, "I hate to do this to you Steph but do you have anything else you can wear please? You look a little too relaxed."

Hunter opened his mouth to rip Vince a new one for insulting his girlfriend but Stephanie squeezed his thigh gently and shook her head at him, "it's okay." Turning to her Dad she nodded her head, "I have a dress in the car, I was worried you wouldn't be happy with me in jeans so I can change into that. Mikey will you stay here with your Daddy and Grandpa whilst I change please?"

Nodding his head Mikey snuggled closer into his Dad, "yups. I's happy here wiv Daddy and Monkey and Bubbles."

Smiling she leant over and pressed a soft kiss to the top of his head, "be good and I will be back soon."

Getting up from her seat she went to leave but turned around and kissed Hunter quickly, "love you."

Smiling softly he wasn't sure what had come over her but he liked it, "I love you too."

Watching as she left he turned his attention to Mikey, "so are we going to take Bubbles and Monkey down to the ring later too?"

Nodding his head Mikey held them up, "they wants to watch me beats you in a match."

Pretending to be offended he widened his eyes, "hey! Who is to say that I won't beat you?"

"I says. I'mma beats you 'gain."

Vince smiled as he watched his Grandson with Hunter, "I'm with Mikey, I think he'll beat you too."

Shaking his head he should have known, "of course you would side with him, you never liked me anyway."

Vince laughed at that comment, "well that isn't entirely true, I just think he will beat you as he has the Helmsley genes and the McMahon genes so he is naturally going to be better than simply a Helmsley or a McMahon."

Hearing Vince said that made him feel good, it was a massive compliment to hear him acknowledge that Mikey was his child and he wasn't entirely sure that it would ever happen but now it has he couldn't be happier.
