AN: I own nothing.

Guess who's finally back! WooHoo!

Sorry for not updating sooner. I had a few medical problems, then a horrible, horrible case of writers block. Hopefully this makes up for it. A small reminder in the beginning of this chapter that this is an 'M' rated fic.

Enjoy!

Booth was having the time of his life. Bones was currently straddling him, riding him like a prized thoroughbred horse. They were even making the headboard hit the wall quite hard.

"Booth." she whispered in a breathless voice as she threw her head back.

"Oh, yeah, Bones." he said, watching her perfect breasts bouncing.

"Booth." Bones whispered again.

"Bones, baby. Oh, baby." he said, getting close to completion. He grabbed her hips and started thrusting up as she stroked down.

"Booth!" Bones yelled, as he felt her walls explode around him.

Just before he could finish, his eyes popped open. 'Damn. Just a dream, then.' he thought with a sigh. 'But what a dream it was.' Before he knew it, a huge smile bloomed across his face. He did so enjoy those dreams about Bones.

"Booth!" Bones yelled through the door, knocking.

"Yeah, Bab..Bones?" he answered, hoping she wouldn't notice his almost slip. Baby was his nickname for her he only called her in his mind.

Bones opened the door just enough to poke her head in. "Finally. I've been knocking for about five minutes, Booth." she said. "Do you feel alright? You look flushed and sweaty." she said, entering the room.

"No, Bones. I'm fine. Really." Booth said in a tight voice. He was finding it difficult to look at her. Bones had that librarian fantasy look again. She had her hair up in a messy bun, and was wearing "Glasses?"

Bones gave him an odd look. "Yes. You know I sometimes wear reading glasses, Booth. Are you sure you're alright?"

"Yes, Bones." he said, nodding his head. "Just a bit sleepy, still. Did you need something?"

"Wha..Oh! Yes. I wanted to know if you wanted to grab a late dinner? You were apparently asleep, and I wrote all through dinnertime."

"Sounds good. I'll meet you downstairs in a few minutes?"

"Sure, Booth." Bones said, walking out and pulling the door shut behind her.

Booth stared at the door for a moment, just to be sure she wasn't coming back in. When he knew she was downstairs, he walked into his private bathroom to wash his face. He couldn't go through dinner looking flushed like he was without Bones asking questions. Looking in the mirror, he saw he looked as if he had just had a good romp in bed. Well, technically he did, but real Bones didn't need to know that.

Walking downstairs, he stopped halfway down. There was Bones being completely not like herself. She was holding Baby up in front of her face, talking in baby talk. He could only smile at this.

"Whose a good puppy? You are. Yes, you are." Bones said, lowering Baby to cradle her. "Although I have no idea why you aren't sleeping like your brothers." she said, going back to her normal voice. "But, since you're awake, how would you like to spend some time with Mommy? Hmmm?" Bones said, petting her behind the ears.

Booth had a smile on his face as he resumed his walk downstairs. Bones had a very big heart, indeed. She just kept it locked away. All he had to do was get her to unlock it for him, and they'd be set.

"Alright, Bones!" he said, clapping his hands together. "Let's eat, huh?"

Bones looked at him with her beautiful eyes. Everytime, no matter what, since they met, when those eyes of hers would connect with his, he would lose his breath.

"Yes. I was thinking since it's late, how about we go for pizza? My treat, of course." Bones said.

"Sounds good. I'll go pull the truck around and meet you outside." Booth said, grabbing his keys from the bowl by the door.

"Yes. I just need to grab my shoes and purse." she said, putting Baby down in the dog pen with Bayla and Bama.

Half an hour later found them at a pizza joint, waiting for their food. After discussing it for a few minutes, they had decided on pizza instead of going back to the diner they ate at before.

"So?" Booth asked.

"So, what?" Bones asked, taking a drink of her water.

"How's the book coming?"

"Slowly. For some reason, this book isn't coming as easily as the others." Bones said, not looking at him.

Truth was, she knew why the book wasn't coming along as quick. That reason was sitting across from her, looking sexy as always. She had written quite a bit today, but didn't like the end result. Even with her notes, some helpful e-mails from Angela about the sexual encounters, this was proving to be very difficult this time. Especially because she didn't usually write with her real life Andy Lister in such close proximity.

"Sorry, Bones." Booth said, sipping his beer.

"Why are you sorry? It's not your fault I am apparently suffering from writer's block, Booth."

"No, Bones. I just meant I'm sorry for you." he said, getting another look of confusion from her. "For you having problems with this one." he added, seeing comprehension come across her face.

"Oh. Well, thank you, Booth." Bones said. Just then, her cell phone started ringing. Pulling it out of her purse, she saw the name flashing across her screen, and smiled. "Brennan." she said, answering.

Booth was trying not to listen, but was having trouble. He was wondering who could be calling her to cause such a big smile to appear on her face. Was it Hacker? Or, had she found someone else? Booth suddenly found it hard to breathe, but managed to stay calm.

"Hi, Parker!" she said with a laugh. Parker Booth was the best way to cheer her up sometimes.

Booth smiled. It was no secret that his son was absolutely enamored with Bones. He always had been. Parker had made no secret of it, telling everyone who would listen that he knew Temperance Brennan, the anthropologist and author. He had even had a keychain on his back pack with a picture of himself and Bones. And, it was no secret that Bones was just as enamored with him, which made Booth love her all the more.

Looking back, Booth felt even worse about pushing Bones aside for Hannah. With regards to Parker, every woman he had dated, aside from Rebecca, had wanted Booth to themselves, without Parker. Tessa, Hannah, and several others thought his time with Parker was negotiable, which it wasn't. Hannah neved wanted to have Parker for the weekend. When Parker would come over, she would make herself scarce until it was time for him to go back to his mom's house.

Bones. Bones was different. She doted on Parker. She volunteered to babysit Parker when neither himself nor Rebecca were available. She had been to all of his birthday parties since Parker turned five. Bones had started a portfolio for Parker's higher education. She was even named in both their wills to care for Parker if something happened to either himself or Rebecca. Booth even knew about Rebecca and Bones' secret Saturday play dates with Parker. When Hannah lived with him, there were a couple weekends when Rebecca told him Parker had other plans to stay with a 'friend', and there was no doubt who his 'friend' was. It was Bones.

"Yes, Parker. I promise to let you play with them when I return home." Bones said, her laughter bringing Booth out of his thoughts.

"You are coming home soon, right?" Parker asked.

She got a serious look on her face. "Parker Booth, I want you to listen to me, alright? Are you listening?" She paused. "Good. Now, I will return home in just over a week. How about, when I'm home, I'll have you, your mom, Angela, Hodgins and Wendell over for dinner. Just to prove that things are okay? Would you like that?" she asked.

"And dad?" Parker asked. "And Max?"

"Yes, your dad, too, if he wants." she said, looking over at Booth. "Maybe. I'll call and ask him, but I think Max is on vacation, sweetie. Parker? Could you hold on for a moment? Okay."

Bones handed Booth the phone, seeing his desire to talk to his son.

"Hey, buddy!" Booth exclaimed.

Bones wrote on a napkin that she was going to the restroom. Booth nodded at her.

"Dad? Are you on vacation with Bones?" Parker asked.

"Yeah, pal, I am." Booth replied.

"Does this mean you two are dating now?" Parker asked, making Booth smile at the excitement in his son's voice.

"No, Parks. We're just here as friends."

"Oh." Parker said in a disappointed voice.

"But, Parks? Just between you and me? I'm working on it. Really. I'm not giving up easily this time." Booth said.

"Really?" Parker asked, the excitement back in his voice.

"Really, pal." Booth said.

"That'd be so cool, dad! You and Bones? Then, you, me and Bones could go places together, like we used to. We could take Bones to the skating rink, and the movies, and the water park, and go bowling, and she could start coming with us to hockey games, and we could buy her a jersey, and she could come to my little league games, and I could go over to her house to play with the dogs, and we could go swimming in her pool, and we could go mini-golfing, and.." Parker said, making Booth laugh.

"Take a breath, Parks." he laughed. "We could do all that, I agree." Seeing both Bones and the waitress walking toward the table, Booth knew it was time to stop talking. "Alright, Parks. I gotta go, but I'll call and talk to you real soon. As will Bones."

"Alright. Night, dad. Love you. And tell Bones I love her, too."

"Night, Parker. Love you, too, pal." Booth said, and hung up.

"Alright, folks. Here we are. One large cheese and one large vegetarian. Anything else?" the waitress, named Tina, asked, smiling sweetly at Booth.

"No, thanks, Tina." Bones said, glaring at her, making Booth smile.

"Alright. Just lemme know." Tina said, and walked swiftly away.

Booth and Bones passed dinner with pleasant conversation. Both noticed that since being here in Boston, all their conversations had been pleasant. It was like they were strangers, instead of the best friends and partners they were. Of course, both also knew this stage wouldn't last long. At the start of their renewed partnership, they were only like this for a few weeks, before becoming more comfortable with each other.

Once dinner was done, and they were back at the condo, Booth insisted on making dessert since Bones had paid for dinner. He made root beer floats, which they ate while watching another movie. This time, Bones had let Booth pick, and he chose to introduce Bones to The Godfather.

"Bones, trust me. This is a classic. You have to watch it." Booth exclaimed.

"I don't understand. Whose godfather is he?"

"No, Bones. Just..just watch the movie. Trust me, you'll like it. And, if not, I will sit through one of your boring documentaries without complaining." Booth said, sitting beside Bones on the sofa.

"Alright." Bones said, getting comfortable, and digging into her root beer float.

Booth just smiled at her.
