Mason's POV
I remember Reznov's steps. Ascend from darkness, however, I think Reznov has a different plan. I can see it.
"Mason, I think it is best we have to skip to step 4."
"You already took care of 2 and 3?"
"Yes my friend. I ascended from darkness, and these new allies have rained fire on the svoloch!"
"I here ya! Reznov, do me a favour, and wait for me next time! Ok?"
"Next time, don't be late!"
We patted each other's shoulder. I guess we can have a good laugh while we're at it.
"Ok, good talk Viktor! Actually, you were late to see that I smoked all three of those bastards!"
"So, Dragovich, Kravchencko and Steiner are dead? Good Mason! But, as happy as I can be, this is probably way bigger than them."
Viktor's probably right. I don't know what he has seen here, in this place, Coral Grove, but if he's back, then I can't doubt him.
"Maybe we can talk to them."
I then looked down the hallway, that's where other prisoners were. Out of all the time I was here, in Coral Grove, Cell Block C, I only got the chance to catch their last names, and their occupations. They were all teachers at the same school above ground, and were part of some sort of government research project.
Mrs. Lob, Drama teacher. She was always going on about missing some sort of play for the founder of the school she worked in.
Mr. Pummel. Gym teacher, football coach. He was having some sort of regret about not being there for his football team on the very first day.
One is in Cell block D. Vice Principal Victoria was mentioned by them. She was the only survivor to continue serving them. I can be honest, she may look kind of perty, but I knew there was something more than looks behind that face of hers.
The last prisoner was…I didn't catch her name. She had red hair and blue eyes.
"Mason, we must first secure some weapons, then we can free them."
Reznov's right. I was old, I can still fight like I did a long time ago.
"Right! Reznov, I think you'll have to follow me though."
He agreed with me. I've been here for a while, I know where the armoury is, plus Reznov has the keys. We started to make our way.
"Mason?"
"Yeah Viktor?"
"What year are we in?"
"It's 2012 Reznov. I know, it's shocking but-"
"The time in where I am matters not Mason, but what matters is, we must ensure our enemies are put down!"
"You're right Viktor! Now, let's go!"
Lee's POV
I can't believe it finally happened. Not only was this whole mess over, and with Nora being back, I think I've got a great future with Tina ahead of me.
"Well, this was fun." Richtofen said.
"Yes, the most fun Takeo's had in years!" Takeo said.
Yup, I think they were good to. My main concern right now is Reznov. He may be shocked to find where he is, I don't think he knows when. Unexpectedly, Tina comes up right behind me, with her hand on my shoulder. I think she has the same concerns for Reznov.
"I'm sure he's going to be ok!" Tina said.
"Thanks Tina!"
She gives me a nod, then rests her head on my shoulder.
"I can't believe that…that this finally happened. I get to be with you Lee. And this is way beyond what I could have imagined."
"Um, same here actually!" I said.
"Lee, did you picture kissing me, or the other way around?"
"Yeah, that was unexpected and-"
"Uh hello! Sorry to interrupt you love birds, but we all need to talk!"
Kimmie's now coming in and ruining our talk? Well, we're not out yet, I guess. We still need to talk about what we're going to do about that pyramid.
"Lee, we're not out yet ya know?"
Nora's right, we are NOT out of this.
"Uh, ese?"
And Cam was still on the monitor, still near that pyramid, briefing us about the pyramid.
"Go ahead Cam!" I said.
"Um, there's something mucho weird I keep hearing from the pyramid yo! And I think they're crying for help!"
"WE CANNOT OPEN THAT! Do you understand?!"
Finnwich still wanted to keep that race underground. I wouldn't want my race being wiped out, and if I'm so important, I don't want to die knowing this is my fault.
"Holger be knowing, is Biffy going to see if Mama and Papa are evil?"
Holger was showing some concern for his parents being here. I guess ever since the whole VP Victoria thing, we can't seem to trust anyone, but our closest allies, who we know won't backstab us.
"When are we like, getting out of here?"
Oh, and Jenny. She really wants to go! Plus, she just realised her aunt is here, so I guess we can…
"Geez padres and padrets, I told you! We'll go once we finish up here!"
Lynch…you don't stop do you?
"Richtofen, you still listenin'?"
Oh right, Dempsey. He's trying to put his head against the pyramid, to see what was being said.
"Don't worry Dempsey, just keep listening, and I will take care of the rest!" Richtofen said.
What does he mean by that?
"Takeo does not have time to stand around, it is time for action!"
Takeo Masaki seemed to be full of pep, when he was walking towards the elevator.
"Evil will be revealed, come Goldstein, let us find the truth!"
Biffy seemed to smile, with Takeo caring so much for Biffy's needs.
"Alright, let's do it!"
Biffy joined Takeo in the elevator.
"Holger too!"
Holger also wanted to help Biffy. Captain Love Vibes does it again! There they go, up the elevator. All that's left is, Finnwich, Tina, myself, Kimmie, Nora, Lynch, Jenny, and mom. Mom's being awful quiet, I wonder why?
"Seriously, I think we need to put the company into our hands now. We gotta-"
The place started to rumble slightly, but stopped after a few second. This upset Kimmie. She doesn't like getting cut off.
"It is happening!" Richtofen said.
"What's happening?!" Jenny asked.
"YEAH! I want to know Grandpa!"
Wait, Nora and Finnwich are related? What else is happening?
"Hey, what the hell was that?!" Dempsey said.
"I may be of assistance!" Finnwich said.
"Ok then, let us talk." Richtofen said.
Richtofen started to explain.
"Because that she is here," He pointed to Nora. "Time and space must find…something to keep the world in balance, so that it doesn't collapse. Time is fixing itself, it may bring something from the future or past, to balance everything, but that's going to be temporary. I'm not so sure how much time we have."
"So therefore, we must make sure that we find the disturbance, and I trust that Richtofen, will take care of the rest!"
"Yes, I will! I WILL! YA HA HA HA HA!"
Ok, he's slightly crazy, I know. More than my brother, probably.
"Ok?" Everyone said.
Meanwhile…
Mason and Reznov were right outside the armory room. They were seeing a display of crystallized robots. And there was some audio tech on a front desk.
"MASON, look!"
Reznov was observing this one crystallized figure, that looked different from the rest.
"I saw this man be in-cased in crystal Mason! He fought well, but he was foiled by the devil woman!" He explained.
"Should we thaw him Reznov?" Mason asked.
"I do not know, I will unfreeze part of him, then-"
Stronger tremors were being felt around the area. And it started to become more active, and didn't stop. Mason and Reznov got down on their stomachs.

David "Section" Mason
So, I was finally going to bring down that son of a bitch! Raul Menendez, he killed my father, and he's about to fuck up my country. I don't think so! He's right there, and my partner, Harper, is down, and injured.
When I saw him, I saw a KAP40 pistol on a dead mercenary. I slid forward, grabbed the gun, shot mercenaries who were going to stop me. I dropped the gun, and rammed a knife into Menendez's leg, then shoulder. He squealed with pain. There was a TAC-45 pistol, I picked it up, and pointed it at his head.
"Martyr me, for Cordis Die."
I was looking straight at him, gun at his head. The bastard was finally going to get what he deserved.
"Come on Section, shoot the fucker!" Harper screamed.
I wanted to capture him, but I don't think I had time to decide. I felt some kind of earthquake, and I felt like something was gnawing at me, and I was being forced into some kind of vacuum. I just blacked out, and I didn't know what was going to happen.

Every that was asked of us we have done. Every night we lay in a fox hole, praying the enemy doesn't slit our throats. Every day we spent crawling through the mud and the dirt while bullets whistled all around. This is the enemy's last stand. When we take Shuri Castle, we go home. All of us.
Or maybe it's what it seemed to be. Polonsky didn't make it when Japanese were trying to surrender, he's gone, but won't be forgotten for what he had done! So, there I am, with Private Miller, giving him Polonsky's dog tags, with my Thompson SMG in hand. I suddenly start feeling this unexpected pain. I had no idea what it could have been, just pain, followed by darkness. I close my eyes, the last thing I see is Miller and the rest of the marines, trying to help me, but it was no use. I felt like I was slipping away, into the mud, never to come back, where I may go, I don't know.
