Harper's POV

Alright so, we're in a casino right? And this chick, Hye Su, just rushes in, and takes out pretty much everyone! I don't think they're dead, I think they're asleep. Smooth move! I have a of explaining to do when they wake up. They might freak out, considering someone like me, is in their social area. Would I go for a few rounds of gambling after everything calmed down? Maybe? NAH! I don't really gamble.

"We're here."

Oh right! The elevator had just let out DING, and the office seemed like someone really practices and lives the way of the samurai. I mean look at this place! The samurai armour, the swords, the…well, design in general! Other side designs was a cage for a couple of mice. Hmm…

That's what I didn't need to pay attention to, what I needed to look at was, the electronic equipment. A large monitor, and a computer at an office desk.

"Ya need that computer?" I asked.

"As a matter of fact, yes. If Ping was right, then Shi-Hu is free, and at Coral Grove, with her son." Shi Hu explained.

"I'm sorry, Coral Grove? Whatever it is, it's not some kind of resort, is it?" I said.

"You are smart." She complimented.

She went over to the computer desk, and started to try and access it, but, I don't think she was having any luck.

"Well, maybe I didn't think this far ahead…" She frowned.

"Hold on, give me one sec."

I had a data glove, just like Section. I think I could hack in. But first, I gotta know where I am in the world. Let's see, pair myself on the GPS, push the button, and BAM!

I'm in…Canada. Well, ain't that swell! I never thought I'd ever come and visit, but now I can! And, I'm in Toronto, don't forget, one of the main cities of this country.

Ok, enough of that, I have to continue hacking. Ok, this thing cut through the coding like a knife and butter! Hey wait, what year is it anyway?! As Hye Su is loading up the computer, I'm noticing the year, 2012. That was 13 years ago! Alright, I'm contacting Section!

"Section, ya there?"

I see a first person view of him, from my data glove. I see that he's found the pyramid-thing!

"Harper?"

"Yo, I think we may be in the past man!" I said.

"Yeah, I think I figured that part as well! Man!"

"I know! I mean, we were right there, about to end Menendez in 2025! But now, we're supposed to find him here?! How would we if we have this conspiracy to take care of?"

"I think we're going to have to worry about Menendez later. I'm getting this…feeling, about this whole thing."

"You think something's in there?"

"Probably."

"Ok, I'm gonna run a scan on the pyramid and the room. It appears to be filled with…well high school students."

"Ok Section, good luck. We might be on our own, if we can't reach any other army personal!"

"Ok Harper. Section out."

We disconnected. Man, the thought of being dragged to the past is…well, overwhelming! I mean, around now I would have been starting to meet Section.

"Alright, I think I got it! Give me and my friend some time!" Hye Su suddenly said.

"Fine." I responded.

Tina's POV

Um…I'm not sure if I really feel safe around Alex Mason. All I got is a gun that could seal people in crystal, but this guy…he has something that could really kill somebody! I'm glad it's not going to be me, or any of my friends! I can't die now, I just got with Lee!

"I know, it's a little intimidating."

He knows how I feel? I think it's a little obvious…

"Yeah, you're going to use that on the enemy right?" I ask.

"You're not my enemy Tina Kwee. I know you are my friend, just like Reznov." He responds.

"But, why, how?" I ask back.

"Because, I see in your eyes, that, you want to stop them as much as I do."

We stopped our current walking path.

"Well, can I ask more?" I said.

I pulled out my tape recorder, which the clones didn't take from me, so that's good.

"Well, alright. I think we all need to be caught up to speed here." Alex said.

I pressed record.

"So, how did you end up in Coral Grove?"

"This is a really long story actually, so, I'm going to sum it all up for you. And, this is some classified information that I'm saying here, but we need all the details. So, pay attention."

"Alright Mr. Mason, please explain."

"It all started in the 1980's…"

He went on explaining about, how he was a retired soldier of the US Army. Before, he had participated in something's like, the 1961 Pay of Pigs invasion, and the Vietnam War. He went on about a son he had, David Mason, and he lived with him in Alaska for some years, taking care of him after his mom died.

"My old handler, and friend, Jason Hudson arrived. Hmph, I called him Mr. Shades, Ice Cube. The guy was a real ice cube! "

He started to chuckle to himself for a couple seconds, then continued.

"He told me that one of my friends, Frank Woods, went MIA in an arms smuggling route in Angola. Our dog in the fight, was Jonas Savimbi. And, he had some real balls, he was a brave guy! He helped us locate Woods, held by a Nicaraguan, Raul Menendez. When me and Hudson got him, we escaped, with luck on our side, when Savimbi saved us."

"So, what happened? Did you get this Menendez?"

"No, he survived. I made a bullet skid his eye. That was my mistake. When me, Woods, and Hudson were getting support in Afghanistan, in a fight against the Russians, I met with an old enemy."

He paused for a moment. He didn't seem too happy with what he was going to say.

"His name was Kravchenko. The bastard back in the 60's, carved a hole in my head, all too kill my own president!"

"Are you preffering to Kennedy?"

"Yes, I'm glad you know parts of history Tina. However, the man you know, Reznov, did his own works in my head. He programmed me to kill him, and two others."

"Two others?"

"Dragovich, Steiner. I killed them, they were VERY close to taking over the United States in the 60's. But, where I'm getting at is, when I saw Kravchenko, the programming came back, so, I had to try my best to resist the urge to kill him. He had intel, so it was worth to listen."

"What happened after?"

"When he gave us what we wanted, we were dumped in the desert. We got out, and I thought Reznov got us out, but, it wasn't him, it was my mind and the numbers playing me."

"Is that all you would like to tell me?"

"No. It's still going. When we got out of the desert, we got word he was in Panama. The U.S signed a deal with the dictator of that time, Manuel Noriega. He tried to help us secure Menendez. We failed, when Noriega let him go, and cut the deal. When it was over, Noriega's men walk off with Menendez's body."

"Let me guess, he didn't stay dead?"

"That's right. Three years later, the CIA wanted to capture Noriega for what he did. As soldiers, me and Woods followed orders, but Hudson said he wasn't the mission. I found myself in a tangled situation. I was knocked out, and brought out to be executed by my friend, Woods. He thought I was Menendez, but he was a lousy shot, so I didn't die, of course."

"Well…"

"As for my…other friend Hudson.

He took in a DEEP breath, but he was going to tough it out.

"He didn't make it. It was a shame, he had two kids, and a lovely wife. Her name was the same name as your friend's."

"Who?"

"Jenny."

"Um…should I still be recording this?"

"Yes, it's fine. Now, what happened was, after I was taken away, I found myself, trying to get something else to do. I travelled into Canada, and did some digging on MWF, with old CIA documents of that company, that I found in Hudson's documents previously. It was no priority of him before, and I knew he was going to check them out sometime, but, I knew he couldn't anymore, so I did it for him."

"And that's how you ended up here?"

"Yes. According to the documents, there was an old submarine base, leading to a classified location. So, I sneak on, get there. I was too cocky. I met the man you know as, His Eminence. I put a gun at his face, but, I couldn't take him, or his security forces. After that, BOOM. I was waiting in a cell for thirty years. That's all you need to know, that's all that happened."

"Alright…thank you for your time Mr. Mason…Tina Kwee out."

I turned off the video recorder. That is a lot of heavy stuff I had to take in.

"Now, Nora?" I asked.

"Yeah, let's go find your friend." He said smiling.

Meanwhile...

Sue, Li, Jenny, Takeo, Roebuck, and Reznov, were waiting around, trying to discuss how Lee and Li were going to bond. So many ideas came. Jenny thought they should have a bro-to-bro talk. Takeo thought that Li should teach Lee his fighting skills, which Reznov and Roebuck seemed to agree upon the idea. Sue seemed to agree with both ideas.

"Li, I think you need to show Lee your tricks?" Sue said.

"Mom...Do I really need to?" Li asked.

"Well, I would like to see that bond going on, I-"

Sue was cut off, with the computer equipment at the desk, beeping.

"Incoming Transmission from The Hydra." A mechanical voice repeated.

Sue went over, and picked up the call. The voice could be heard by everyone in the room, and this person was female, and speaking Korean.

"(Shi-Hu!)"

"(Hye Su? Is that you?)"

"(Yes, it is me! Where have you been?)" Sue responded in the same language.

"(I've been everywhere, old friend. Hold on, let me introduce you to my-)"

"(Don't bother, I already know Li and Lee. But, let me say hi to them anyway.)"

"Uh, are you leaving me out of this?"

That was the voice of Harper, who interrupted the little friendly talk.

"No, Harper. Oh, yes. We have someone from the future, and the army, who has come to us." Hye Su said.

"Mike Harper, Navy Seal." Harper introduced.

"Mom, who's Hye Su?" Lee asked.

"An old friend Lee, could you not interrupt your mother while I talk?" Sue said, looking up.

"Bro, I didn't expect someone else from the army to be collaborating with us." Li said.

"Is that guy supposedly lying?" Jenny asked.

"Well, I don't know." Li said.

"Look, I wanna get past the whole thing from the past. I get it! Everything's been in a jam for years! OK!" Jenny said.

"Alright girl, you need to restrain yourself. I've been through a lot as well. In fact, more than you could understand." Roebuck said.

"Sorry..." Jenny said.

"No need for apologies. A heart break can be as heavy a war." Reznov said.

"Yes, Takeo agrees." Takeo said.

Sue finished talking to Hye Su, then came off the computer to explain.

"We need to go back home." Sue said.
