April 28th, 2009- First Time

It has been a while since I last updated. Anyways, this is dedicated to nonna99 for messaging me. Sometimes I need a little nudge :P. I hope people still read CSI Miami fics! Enjoy.

She stared at him from the bar stool, a smile playing upon her lips as she watched him. He, on the other hand, was concentrated on the shrimps and sauce in front of him, stirring them both into perfection. He hummed slightly as he added cheese and herbs into the sauce and stirred once again. Calleigh smiled from her place and rested her elbows on the counter and proceeded into resting her head on her hands.

Eric had been serious today when he said that he was the one that was going ti cook. Which was the reason why, when they arrived at his condo, he ordered her to sit down as he handed her a glass of wine.

"Here," Eric said as he walked to her, a spoonful of sauce on one hand, the other under it, so as to not drop the substance on the floor. Calleigh sat straight straight, her smile never leaving her face. Eric offered Calleigh the spoon and she tasted the sauce.

"God that's good!" said, somewhat surprised.

At this, Eric laughed and leaned in close.

"I told you I was a good cook."

He smiled at her and gave her a quick peck on the lips and took his position once again.

"My mom, she actually taught me how to cook. She always said that the girls will love a guy that cooks and so every Sunday I had to..."

Calleigh just stared at Eric in awe as he continued talking. If there was something that Calleigh was sure about in that precise moment it was that she has never loved a man as much as she loved Eric. And as Eric continued talking about his cooking, the realization that Eric was the real deal made her stomach flutter and her smile grew wider as she called his name.

He turned to her, a smile of his own and she spoke the three words that had been on her mind for the last few weeks.

"I love you."

In less than three seconds Eric turned off the stove and made his way to Calleigh's side, brushed a few strands of hair away from her face and kissed her. His lips brushed against hers with a passion never felt before. Calleigh nibbled on his lower lip, her arms wrapping around his neck as she deepened the kiss.

"I love you too Calleigh."

Eric whispered against her lips kissing her again. Calleigh was getting restless so she grabbed Eric by the collar and pulled him even closer. After a confession like that Calleigh needed more kisses, more contact, more Eric. So her tongue softly caressed his lower lip, begging for entrance which was given immediately.

They were both too caught up in the moment. Their lips meshing together, hands caressing each other, bodies leaning closer. It was intoxicating, both addicted to each other and neither wanted rehab; not now, not ever.

Calleigh lowered her arms from collar to his abdomen, unbuttoning his shirt from the bottom up. Eric stalled her hands and broke the kiss. He smiled at her and brought her hands to her lips, kissing her knuckles while staring directly at her eyes.

Words weren't needed. Just looking into each others eyes they knew that they were ready to take the next step into their relationship.

Dinner now officially forgotten, they kissed once again and slowly made their wag to the master bedroom, their clothes somewhere in the hall. And as fate would have it, Eric and Calleigh consumed their love that night and they couldn't and got anything more perfect.
