Chapter 54: A Party In Agrabah

After the Gummi ship landed, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, Max, Mickey, Lea and Mickey descended on a sand-coated city street. The sky was a bright blue, there was a large, grand palace seen above the city buildings and the boiling, Arabian sun beat down upon them, but Sora welcomed it with a smile. This was a world he, Donald and Goofy knew well. A world where one of their closest allies lived.

Agrabah

"Oh boy!" Donald exclaimed happily. "Argrabah! I sure missed this place!"

Sora nodded and smiled in agreement. "Me too, Donald. I can't wait to see Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie and everyone else again!"

"Same here!" Goofy agreed. "But I'm just glad we won't have to deal with Jafar anymore!"

Immediately, Sora, Donald and West burst into a fit of laughter. "Tell me about it." Giggled West. "That guy was a little too power hungry! Amost like a dude version of Maleficent."

The rest of the group joined in the laughter, except for Riku, who remained silent and almost lost in his thoughts. But Sora immediately noticed.

"Riku? You okay?" The spiky-haired teen asked.

"Uh, you know, Sora. Maybe I should stay behind on the Gummi ship for this world." Riku suggested. "The last time I was here didn't go so well. I did trap Aladdin and Abu in the cave of wonders and kidnap Princess Jasmine for Maleficent."

"Riku, you don't need to worry about that." Smiled Sora, leaving Riku with a confused expression. "Last year, when me, Donald and Goofy were looking for you and the king, we explained what you were going through. Neither Aladdin or Jasmine seemed to hold a grudge."

West nodded her head in agreement as she placed a hand on Riku's shoulder. "I can confirm that. When I was spying on Maleficent's group, I talked to the princesses and I think they got the idea that you were being manipulated by her."

After hearing his friends talk, Riku couldn't help but smile. "Thanks a lot, guys. I guess I'm okay to come then."

"You got it!" Smiled Sora. "Come on, let's head to the palace and see how Aladdin's doing." With that, the group started wandering through Agrabah's city streets towards Agrabah's grand palace. As they got closer and closer to the royal gates, the more people they noticed were occupying the streets. The people were all carrying expensive gifts, dressed in formal clothes and were all heading towards the palace. They also noticed that there was a large amount of burly, muscular guards guarding the palace gates.

"I wonder what's going on." Lea said, raising an eyebrow.

"Not sure, but I guess we should go check it out." Mickey stated as the group walked towards the gates, approaching a burly, grumpy-looking palace guard with a black beard and missing a tooth. "That fella might know why Agrabah's so crowded."

Without wasting a single moment, Sora approached the guard who just looked annoyed at the spikyp-haired boy. "Uh, hey sir. What's with all the people in the city today?"

The guard rolled his eyes. "Our princess is to wed today." He spoke in an annoyed tone.

At the sound of the news, surprised, happy gasps spread through the group. Even Max and Lea, who'd never personally met with the princess and Agrabah's hero seemed happy at the news.

"Wow! Aladdin and Jasmine are really getting married today?!" Kairi asked excitedly. "That's incredible!"

"Gwarsh! What luck that we got here on their wedding day!" Added Goofy.

Sora smiled as his mind wandered to the first time he ever visited this world. Things sure had changed since then. "Aladdin's sure moved up in the world. I feel really happy for him."

"Seems like only yesterday he was just a street rat. Now he's gonna marry Princess Jasmine and become a real lucky prince!" Donald nodded in agreement.

The grumpy guard rolled his eyes and growled in annoyance. "Oh please he's not a prince at all. Just a no-account street rat!"

"No way Razoul! Aladdin's not just a street rat anymore! He's Agrabah's greatest hero!" A familiar happy and energetic voice echoed through the city. The team then looked up to the sky, finding something large, blue and magical flying towards them. As it flew closer and closer, Sora, Donald and Goofy immediately realized who it was.

"Genie! It's you!" Exclaimed Sora just as the magical genie of the lamp flew down to their level and scooped up Sora, Donald and Goofy into a tight hug.

"Sora! Donald! Goofy!" Genie exclaimed happily. "It's been way too long! Too long! Oh Al's gonna be so happy you're here!"

Sora squirmed in the genie's strong grip. "Genie...you're crushing us."

"Oops. Sorry." Genie said sheepishly as he set the trio back down. "So I see you finally found your king and your friends!"

"Wasn't easy, but he did." Laughed Kairi. "I'm Kairi. And this is Mickey, Max, Lea, West and Riku." She said as she pointed to each one of her teammates, but noticed Riku looked really guilty and uncomfortable and was trying to avoid eye contact with Genie.

"Oh, I remember Riku; you used to work for Jafar, right?" Said Genie, with a glare flying in front of the nervous silver-haired teen. Riku gulped in fear, but the next thing he knew, Genie had pulled him into a tight hug as his glare was replaced with a cheery smile. "But that's all in the past! I'm just so happy Sora's got his buddy back and you're not evil anymore! You're okay in my book kid!"

"Uh, Genie...can't breathe." Riku squirmed.

"Ooops sorry again. Guess I don't know my own strength." Chuckled Genie as he set Riku down. "Well, what are you guys waiting for? Come on in! I still got a wedding to get ready!" Genie exclaimed happily as he led the group of nine right into the palace, leaving behind a grumpy and scowling Razoul.

Having never entered the palace, Sora and the team were amazed by how grand it was. Even without the wedding decorations everywhere it would still be impressive. Genie lead them down the elegant halls, passing by various servants rushing to finish getting the wedding ready. Finally, they stopped in front of a blue door at the end of the hall.

Genie opened it, revealing Princess Jasmine's bedroom; a large balcony and elegant, royal furniture. The princess herself was sitting in front of her dresser mirror, dressed in a beautiful silk wedding gown and getting her hair and makeup done by two servant girls. Standing beside her was a short, regally-dressed man with a white beard and pearched on the mirror was Iago.

"Hello oh lovely bride and father of the bride!" Exclaimed Genie with a grin as he led the group into the room.

"Ah, Genie!" Jasmine smiled as she rose from her seat. "Sora! Donald! Goofy! Kairi! It's so good to see you all again! And Riku and West are here too!"

West gave a small smile and wave. "Long time no see."

"I sure hope you're behaving, Iago." Goofy scolded the parrot.

"Of course I am! I've been a good little birdy since you guys left, promise!" Iago replied, flying over to Sora and landing on his shoulder. "Honest, I've only looked at the royal treasure once!"

Jasmine rolled her eyes. "Of course. Oh, I don't think any of you have met my father yet; this is the Sultan of Agrabah."

The Sultan chuckled happily. "It's so nice to meet you, I've heard so much about you all."

Immediately, the group of nine heroes bowed. "It's great to finally meet you, your majesty."

"Oh, please there's no need for formalities, we're all friends here, right Mickey?" The Sultan smiled.

"That's right!" Nodded Mickey. "It's great to see you again, your highness."

"Wow. You really got around." Remarked Riku.

At that moment, Sora spoke up. "Hey, where is Aladdin anyway? It's his wedding day do why isn't he around the palace?"

"He's probably back at his old hovel. He's been there all day with Abu and Carpet. I was just going to get him before you guys showed up." Explained Genie.

"You mind if we come?" Asked Sora.

Genie nodded. "Of course, I was planning on asking you guys that from the start!"

"You guys go ahead!" Jasmine smiled. "I wanted to talk with West and Kairi, if you don't mind."

"Sure. We don't mind." Said Kairi while West nodded in agreement.

Lea waved to the two girls as Genie and the rest of the boys started to leave. "Ok. See you guys later." Once the group had left, Kairi and West turned to Jasmine.

"So, what did you want to talk to us about?" Asked West curiously.

"Actually, I was going to ask the two of you to be my bridesmaids."

West and Kairi looked at each other in surprise, but then their faces burst into smiles as they looked back up at the princess. "We'd be honored." Stated Kairi.

It didn't take them long to find Aladdin's old hovel, getting there through the busy city streets was the hard part. Genie, Sora, Riku, Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Max and Lea climbed up the stone steps, finding exactly who they were looking for. Aladdin knelt on the floor, holding a small wooden box while Abu and Carpet watched him curiously.

He was dressed much differently than when they last saw him. He was wearring a long-sleeved grey shirt, a navy vest with gold lining, blue puffy pants, a brown belt and brown pointed boots.

Deciding to make their presence known, Sora stepped into the room, the others following him. "Aladdin! Long time no see!" Exclaimed Sora. The former street rat looked up, smiling at the group.

"Sora! Donald! Goofy!" Smiled Aladdin as he set the box down and jumped to his feet, pulling the three of them into a tight hug. "It's so great to see you guys." It was then that he noticed the others who'd come with them. "Hey Riku! I'm so glad Sora found you."

Riku chuckled lightly with a small smile, relieved that Sora was right and no one held a grudge against him. "Yeah me too." He them moved to introduce Mickey, Max and Lea to the groom-to-be while Lea petted Abu and Max shook one of Carpet's tassels.

"Well, you better hurry up or somebody's gonna be late for his own wedding!" Exclaimed Genie.

Aladdin gave a small smile. "Hold on, Genie. There's something I need." He said as he wandered back to the wooden box he was looking at before and picked it up. "This is for the wedding."

Slowly, Aladdin opened the box, revealing a small, curved golden dagger resting inside. On the hilt was a gold handprint symbol and the sheath was good and royal blue with the same handprint symbol on it.

"Woah! Cool dagger, looks sharp!" Lea exclaimed excitedly.

Donald nodded in agreement. "Yeah, where'd you get it?" The duck inquired.

"It belonged to my father." Replied Aladdin with a small sigh.

Genie cocked his head curiously. "Your father? You never said a word about your father. Oh, I've got to let the caterer know!" Exclaimed Genie as he transformed into a fancy caterer holding a pen and note pad. "Chicken or sea bass?"

Aladdin smiled up at Genie but shook his head. "He's not coming to the wedding. He died a long time ago." Immediately, Genie changed back to his normal form, feeling slightly guilty. Both Lea and Donald had similar expressions on their faces.

"Sorry." Said Genie.

Donald rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, sorry. That must have sounded real mean!"

"That's okay." Shrugged Aladdin as he placed the dagger into his sash. "I never knew him. Maybe if I did, I'd feel ready for this."

Sora placed a hand on Aladdin's shoulder. "Aww, come on, don't tell me you're getting cold feet." The young Keyblade master asked.

"No, if course not. I love Jasmine and I've dreamed of spending my life with her." Aladdin shook his head as Abu climbed onto his shoulder. "It's just, I've always been a street rat, stealin' what I need to survive, runnin' from the guards, livin' my life alone." At that, Abu released a small sad moan while Aladdin smiled at his life-long furry friend and petted him behind the ears. "I'm taking a big step today into a new world."

"So, what's the worry?" Asked Mickey.

"Well, I never had a father to show me how to raise a family." Said Aladdin. "What do I know about families? Guys, what if I'm no good at it? Ah, if my father were here-"

Genie shook his head and pulled Aladdin into a tight hug. "Al, little buddy, if your father were here, he'd be as proud of you as I am."

"Gawrsh, Aladdin, it doesn't take a lot to be a good dad. As long as you love and protect your kids, you're doing your job right!" Smiled Goofy.

Max nodded in agreement as he hugged Goofy. "Take it from the son of the goofiest dad in existence; that's all it takes."

"I just wish he could see this." Sighed Aladdin with a smile as he looked out his hovel's window to the palace. "I'm just... So happy."

There was a moment of silence among the group before Genie spoke up. "Well, come on Al you've got a wedding to get to!"

Riku nodded. "Yeah, you definitely don't want to be late for that!"

"Yeah you're right." Smiled Aladdin.

"Ok! Just leave it to me!" Genie exclaimed as he snapped his fingers, causing pink and blue smoke and light to surround the group. When the light and smoke faded Aladdin was dressed in white and gold Arabian wedding robes, turban and all, Abu meanwhile was now wearing a purple and white striped hat and vest.

The other humans were all wearing different colored versions of Aladdin's Prince Ali outfit. Sora's was blue with black lining, had a red feather and a yellow feather. Riku's was yellow with a navy lining, had a black feather and a white gem. And Lea's was red with black lining, had a red feather and a yellow gem.

Mickey was dressed in a red version of the Sultan's outfit with gold lining, a yellow feather and a blue gem. Donald was dressed in a blue and yellow version of Jafar's sorcerer outfit. Finally, Goofy and Max were dressed in royal guard uniforms. Goofy's was green, yellow and black while Max's was red, blue and black.

Now that everyone was dressed, Genie proofed himself a suit. "Alright, groom and honored guests! Let's get this party started!"

"You guys go on ahead." Said Aladdin. "Me and Sora will catch up on carpet."

Seemingly knowing what Aladdin wanted to talk to Sora about, Genie winked. "You got it, Al! Alright, off to the palace we go!" With a snap of his fingers, the blue and pink smoke and light surrounded the group as they dissapeared and then reappeared back at the palace.

Now with just him, Aladdin and Carpet, Sora turned to look back up at one of his closest friends across the worlds. They first met at changing points in their lives, Sora during his first journey with the Keyblade, and Aladdin when he first discovered the cave of wonders and Genie's lamp. Now, Aladdin was about to take a big step into a whole new world, marrying Jasmine after all this time.

"So, Aladdin, what did you need to ask me?" Sora asked curiously.

Aladdin returned the smile as he looked down at Sora. "Sora, I want you to be my best man for the wedding. You're one of my best friends and I'm really glad you and your friends came on my wedding day."

Sora's eyes widened in surprise at his request. "Wow, but what about Genie?"

"I did ask him first because we weren't sure how to get ahold of you." Aladdin admitted. "But Genie insisted on being our wedding planner and warned to try and get you here for the wedding."

Sora smiled. "Well, I guess it was lucky that we got here. I'd be happy to be your best man." He replied.

~*KHIII*~

Sometime later, Aladdin and Sora had arrived at the palace pavilion via Carpet. A number or royal guests filled the room while Abu, Carpet Riku, Lea, Max, Goofy and Mickey stood in the front row. Donald and Iago had gone to the wedding gift drop-off to drool over the expensive-looking wedding gifts. They hadn't seen West or Kairi yet but Genie had told them that they had agreed to be Jasmine's bridesmaids.

Sora stood beside Aladdin at the altar who looked around nervously as Genie flew around the room mumbling about how the boutonnières clashed with the cumber buns and other minor details. Finally, Aladdin managed to calm Genie down so the ceremony could proceed.

Genie rushed over to the door at the end of the aisle and blew a golden horn, announcing the beginning of the wedding. He then dissapeared, only for two bridesmaids to begin walking down the aisle, causally sprinkling flowers out of their baskets; Kairi and West. They were both dressed in long purple and gold dresses and gold headpieces looking really excited as they walked down the asile. West sill had her pigtails in, Sora could only assume that Jasmine couldn't get her to take them out. And West still had her signature necklace around her neck.

Sora blushed at the sight of Kairi while Riku blushed at the sight of West. Both girls giggled softly as they took their places at the altar. So far this wedding was turning out to be a lot better than the on in the Land of the Dragons. The bridesmaids were then followed by four guards carrying an elegant throne with the Sultan on it. All the guests bowed as the Sultan waved to them. Even Aladdin bowed when the Sultan arrived at the altar but the Sultan simply chuckled and told him to relax.

Then, everyone's eyes turned to the far entrance of the altar where two peacocks stood and slowly parted their tail feathers, revealing Princess Jasmine in all her angelic, bridal glory. She met Aladdin's eyes as she walked towards him, both of them glowing with happiness.

The ceremony began smoothly with Aladdin and Jasmine walking up to the pavilion together hand in hand. But Genie was having a hard time containing his tears of joy.

"It's all so magical. I'm not gonna cry. I'm not..." Genie then broke down into tears and blew his nose on Carpet. But then realizing what he did, he released Carpet. "Oh, sorry."

"Oh yeah, real smooth." Max rolled his eyes, then looked back at Goofy only to find he was bawling too.

Goofy cried and wiped his nose on a handkerchief. "Oh it's just beautiful!"

"Why am I not surprised?" Laughed Max.

By that time, Aladdin and Jasmine had reached the top of the pavilion. Aladdin couldn't help but look at Jasmine and smile with happiness. "Well, we're here..." He said.

"Together forever. " Jasmine smiled up at him as the guests and wedding party looked up at them with a chorus of applause and "awws". Kairi smiled as she stood beside Sora.

"They look so happy together." Kairi smiled as she gently interlaced her free hand with his.

Sora nodded as he looked down at her and returned the smile. "Yeah, they do. I'm really happy for them, after all they've been through with Jafar they deserve a happy ending.

"I wonder if we'll ever get a happy ending." Sighed Kairi. "Sometimes I just wonder if it'll ever be over, if we'll ever defeat Xehanort."

"Dont worry, we will. I know it." Reassured Sora. "Then we'll have our real happy ending."

But just then, the ground started to rumble and shake the entire room. Then, the sound of trumpets blaring. Everyone spun around and gasped in shock and terror at what they saw; a dozen giant heartless in the form of Arabian elephants rushing towards the pavilion. They were coloured navy blue, purple and gold with the heartless crest on their foreheads. These particular Heartless were known as Arabian Tramplers.

"STAMPEDE!" Genie exclaimed as the guests scattered in fear and screamed in terror. The guests got out of the way just in time because the next moment the Arabian Tramplers burst through the pavilion. Aladdin and Jasmine just barely managed to dodge out of the way of an attack from one of those heartless.

In the meantime, the gift table was shaking, leaving Domald and Iago to try and catch the falling expensive wedding gifts.

"What is going on here!?" Iago exclaimed, catching a golden bowl.

Donald was running around with arms full of wedding gifts. "I dunno! Just save the shiny presents!"

Back at the Pavilion, the room had become nearly overflown with heartless. Along with the new Arabian Tramplers there were Bandits, Fat Bandits and Fortunetellers.

Without a second to waste, Aladdin and the team of heroes brandished their weapons and charged into battle. Abu was nearly trampled by an Arabian Tampler but was saved by Genie, unfortunartely carpet did get trampled. Then, Genie noticed that there were dangerous cracks forming in the roof of the pavilion so he flew up to the roof and tried his best to cover them with his body so as to prevent any falling debris and preserve the pavilion the best he could.

Sora and Aladdin sprinted towards one of the Arabian Tramplers, ready to fight. Aladdin gave Sora a boost, allowing Sora to unleash a powerful strike to the heartless's trunk while Aladdin attacked the legs. Goofy threw his shield at a group of Bandit heartless, knocking them clean off their feet, allowing Lea to finish them off with his burning chackrams. West then used her knife to attack one of the fat bandits, managing to steal a few rare items.

The wedding guests rushed out of the pavilion in a panic. But, they soon backed back into the pavilion when they saw was awaiting them; a large group of Arabian thieves carrying various sharp weapons. Immediately the thieves attacked the guests, stealing their jewlry, money and anything else they could get their hands on.

"W-what?! Where'd these guys come from?" Questioned Max.

"I don't know." Admitted West. "But it looks like we found who's controlling the heartless!"

On closer inspection, it looked like West was right. The thieves were working with the heartless; they weren't attacking them at all and were even helping the thieves steal from the guests. The situation got so bad that even Razoul and the palace guards rushed to help.

Max rushed towards a group of triplet thieves on his skateboard, effectively knocking them over and causing them to drop their stolen goods. Kairi used her Keyblade to cast blizzard magic on a Fat Bandit, destroying it instantly while Mickey followed her lead and used blizzard magic on the thieves.

In the meantime, Riku had just cut down a Fortuneteller heartless. But, he failed to realize one of the thieves was behind him with a sharp sword, getting ready to strike down the silver-haired teen. Riku spun around, but was unable to block in time. But then, his attacker was violently knocked down by a punch to the face from Princess Jasmine.

"That was for ruining my wedding." Growled Jasmine at the now unconscious thief.(1)

Riku just stared at her in amazement. "Wow. Thanks. Where'd you learn that?"

Jasmine smiled. "Oh, Aladdin's been taking me on a few of his adventures. Girl's gotta know how to defend herself."

Meanwhile, while the battle was going on, a tall figure in a dark blue robe had made his way to the gift room. The robe completely covered his face, leaving only room for his eyes while on his chest was a gold pin with a handprint on it.

Immediately, the figure started rummaging through the wedding gifts. "It must be here somewhere!" He mumbled to himself, tossing the gifts aside as though he was looking for a specific item.

Just then, a blast of fire magic sped towards him and knocked him clean off his feet. The hooded man released a groan as he looked behind him. There he saw Donald pointing his staff at him with an angry look on his face while Iago stood on his shoulder.

"You messed with the wrong wedding pal!" Donald quacked as he got ready to cast another spell.

"Yeah! Get ready to meet your match, Zorro!" Agreed Iago as he threw a gold plate at the masked thief who managed to dodge out of the way.

Slowly, he approached Donald and Iago with his hands in front of him. "Good birdies. Polly want a little..."

"Say cracker and we'll let you have it on principle!" Roared Iago angrily. "Get him, Donald!"

"Wack! Take this!" Raising his staff, Donald fired summoned a blast of blizzard magic and attacked the intruder. But, just like with the plate, he expertly dodged it. Then, he sprinted towards them and before Donald or Iago had a chance to react, he grabbed them by the scruffs of their necks.

The intruder chuckled in amusement at the two birds he had in his grasp. "You both have a lot of spirit." Finding an empty gold chest with a lock, the intruder tossed the two inside and locked it, trapping them inside. "And a lot of mouth." With Donald and Iago out of the way, he immediately returned to rummaging through the treasures.

Back at the wedding pavilion, West, Kairi and surprisingly Razoul were facing off the apparent leader of the group; a grey-skinned muscular man dressed in a black and purple vest, large blue pants with a red sash, and black pointed Arabian shoes. He fought using a set of golden claws.

"Give it up, ladies." He smirked, looking at Razoul as he said that which made the Captain of the guards fume with anger.

"You will pay dearly for that insult!" The Captain growled. Razoul rushed in to attack, but the grey-skinned man dodged then knocked his sword clean out of his hand. He then effortlessly blocked an attack from Kairi's Keyblade, knocking her backwards. He even had the time to knock West back, who had been going for an attack from behind.

West was clearly running out of energy as she took a moment to down a potion. "Who are these guys anyway?! They just won't quit!"

"It's like their energy's limitless, just like the heartless." Agreed Kairi.

Razoul shook his head. "They are worse than those heartless creatures! These are the Forty Thieves!"

After hearing Razoul identify their wedding crashers, Genie, who was still trying to preserve the wedding pavilion, started counting the thieves who were working with the heartless. "Really? I get thirty-nine..." He said with a raised eyebrow.

After hearing Genie say that, Sora and Aladdin started looking around the room, searching for any sign of a stray thief. Before long, Aladdin spotted the man in the blue robe who had attacked Donald and Iago. He was still digging through the wedding gifts as though he was looking for something specific.

"Forty." Growled Aladdin as he made his way to the gift room with Sora following closely behind. Aladdin didn't even protest his friend's aid.

Without even noticing Aladdin and Sora beginning to approach him, the hooded man kept rummaging through the wedding gifts. "Where is it?" He grumbled as he pushed two golden jars out of the way, then his eyes widened as he finally found what what he was searching for. "Ah, at last!" Grinning under his mask in victory, he picked up a long, golden staff with a glittering green.

But, just then he was knocked to the ground from behind. He looked above him, finding Aladdin and Sora standing there. Aladdin held the staff in his hand, he must have grabbed it when he knocked him down.

"Can I see your invitation?" The groom smirked.

"Last time I checked, barging in and crashing someone's wedding was pretty rude." Added Sora.

The hooded man simply glared at the two of them. "Stay out of my way boys and you won't get hurt!" With that, he jumped up to his feet, and rushed to attack Sora and Aladdin. The two boys jumped out of the way as Sora drew his Keyblade and counterattacked with a strong, powerful blow. That gave Aladdin the opportunity he needed to draw his old curved scabbard from his sash and attacked, still tightly holding onto the staff the thief was after.

But this time, the hooded man was ready. Before either Sora or Aladdin could attack him again, he threw a small knife in Sora's direction, pinning the young Keyblade master to the wall by his sleeve. Then, he tackled Aladdin to to the ground and attempted to wrestle the staff out of his hands.

"Fool, you don't stand a chance against the King of Thieves!" He growled, trying with all his might to pry the staff from Aladdin's hands.

Aladdin glared up at him. "When I get up, I'll bow to you!" With that, he kicked the King of thieves off him and sent him flying straight into the chest Donald and Iago were trapped in, freeing them. The King of Thieves snarled in anger as he tried to take the staff from Aladdin again but was stopped by a blast of fire magic from Sora's Keyblade. He had somehow managed to free himself from the wall.

The group was just about to attack the King of Thieves again when one of the elephant heartless burst through the room and stomped past them, leaving behind an enormous cloud of smoke and dust. Aladdin, Sora, Donald and Iago coughed and coughed until the smoke was cleared, allowing them to see again.

"Everyone okay?" Asked Donald.

"Yeah." Nodded Aladdin, but then his face fell when he realized their intruder had vanished. "Where's the King of Thieves?" Little did anyone know that the King of Thieves had already made his escape thanks to the help of the Arabian Trampler.

Once the leader of the Forty Thieves was gone, the others had swiftly made their escape thanks to the hop of the heartless, making it impossible to track them down again.

The attack left the pavilion in shambles and many of the guests had run off in fear, leaving the Sultan, Razoul and the guards to try and calm them down.

One by one, the rest began to pile into the gift room; Genie, Abu, Carpet, Jasmine, Riku, Goofy, Max, Mickey, Kairi, West and Lea.

"Just so we're clear! The destruction of the Pavillion was not my fault!" Exclaimed Lea. "I may have used a little too much force on some of those thieves, but still!"

Genie simply laughed and put an arm around Lea's shoulder. "Not to worry, my pyromaniac friend! Just leave the rebuilding to yours truly."

"You sure you can handle all that?" Asked Kairi. "Sounds like a lot of work."

"Hey! Don't forget you're talking to a semi-phonamanal nearly-cosmic free genie!" Genie stated proudly.

Jasmine stood at Aladdin's side and looked around the room at the damage that surrounded the gift room. "What were they after, the gifts?"

Aladdin shook his head. "Not all the gifts." He said as he held out the gold staff to show the group. "This is what the King of Thieves wanted."

"The King of Thieves?" Questioned Donald. "Where'd that name come from?"

Iago shook his head and landed on the staff. "And with all the other great stuff, why go for this thing?"

At that moment, the staff began to emanate a powerful, blinding bright light. "Your questions are mine to answer!" A smooth, melodic voice rang through the room as the staff began to levitate and project the image of a woman in white and gold robes above the staff. "The King of Theives claims his title as the leader of the Forty Thieves; he sought my sight to find the Ultimate Treasure."

Immediately, Donald and Iago's eyes lit up. "Did someone say treasure?" The parrot beamed.

In the meantime, Genie had put on a pair of sunglasses and was staring intently at the floating figure.

"Genie?" Aladdin asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh... Looks like an Oracle." Genie said.

The woman gave a slow nod. "I see all that has been, and all that will be."

"Uhhh... she's a what?" Questioned Max.

"An Oracle; they can see the future." Replied Mickey. "I read about them in the Castle Library."

By then, Iago and Donald were standing before the Oracle with greedy looks in their eyes. "Okay, you know all, so tell all." Iago demanded, rubbing his hands together.

"Yeah, where is the treasure? You know, the ultimate one?" Demanded Donald, almost drooling.

The Oracle shook her head. "I am bound by the rule of one. One question, one answer."

"We only want one answer! Where is the Ultimate Treasure?!" Wined Donald.

"You both have already asked your questions." The Oracle stated.

"You mean before?" Asked Donald. "Oh, that wasn't a question! That was uh... thinking out loud." At that moment, Genie pulled the two birds away.

"Very loud." Genie groaned.

Jasmine appeared to be very enthusiastic and curious. "Aladdin, we could learn anything. About our lives, our future."

"You have but to ask." Nodded the Oracle.

Aladdin shook his head and turned to Jasmine. "I know what my future is, my future is you. But my past... it's a blank." He said as he took his father's dagger out from his sash and looked down at it. "My mother died when I was just a kid, and I never even knew my father. I have no idea where I come from."

"Your question is your choice. But remember the rule of one. Choose carefully." Stated the Oracle.

Donald rolled his eyes "Oh sure, she warns him about the one question thing." He grumbled.

Aladdin shook his head. "I don't think you can help me. My past isn't just one question, it's a million questions."

"Ah, but mere questions about your past can be answered by your father..." The Oracle said.

That immediately grabbed Aladdin's attention. "My father?" He questioned as the others all released shocked gasps of their own. As proof, The Oracle moves her hands, allowing an image to appear. It was the image of an older man, with a strong resemblance to Aladdin, he had the same eyes and nose, a few grey hairs and a beard. "My father is alive...?"

Oh wow Aladdin! Looks like this is going to be your next quest! Thanks so much for reading and putting up with the long waits between chapters! It really means a lot that you guys stick with me! Thanks again for reading and stay tuned! And just out of curiosity, I dunno if I'll put this in the story or not but what do you think Sora and his team would ask the oracle? And which members of the party would you like to see help Aladdin search for his father?

(1): I just had to throw that scene in! This was such a badass moment for Jasmine!
