Almost two years writing this thing and I am barely on the 8th chapter wow...hahahaha Im sorry for taking such a long time I've been really busy actually I forgot I had this. Recently, I remembered my password and noticed that I had this story and decided to continue it even though its been quite a while. I already started on chapter 9 and chapter 10 I'll try to post them as soon as I can I promise. Hope you guys enjoy this chapter which doesn't reveal much but its something!

"Don't lie to me," Scorpius hissed. "I know you took it!"

"I don't know what you're talking about Scorpius," I lied. He had realized that our father's diary was no longer in his room and obviously made the theory that I took it which I did but I wasn't going to admit it.

"You took dad's diary!" he said seriously.

"You lost dad's diary?!" I tried to act like if I had no idea what he was talking about but he still didn't seem to buy it. I must admit that I am a good liar which I am not very proud of but it comes in handy once in a while. "How could you!?"

"I-I…" he stumbled with his words. "I know you took it."

He didn't look really convinced though. "I didn't take anything Scorpius," I trying to sound convincing.

"I know you have it and I will get it back," he told me before leaving.

"What was that about?" said Dominique as she passed next to an angry Scorpius.

"He warned me about the upcoming Quidditch match," I lied once again. "He said we had no chance and I simply teased him about always beating him at flying."

"I remember when I told James that he was way better at Quidditch than him," Dominique laughed. "I expected him to laugh but he simply told me not to joke about his Quidditch abilities."

"Boys," I sighed. "So, ready for your date with Jacob?"

"Maybe," she blushed. "I don't know it feels so weird. I mean it's not like he's my first date ever but I just feel like…nervous?"

"It may be because you really want to work this one out and not just eat the brains out of him," I laughed.

"I hate it when you're right sometimes," she complained. We continued talking as we walked towards our next class which was Herbology. We entered the room and took a seat at the back.

"Alright class," Professor Longbottom said as he entered the room. "Today we'll be working in pairs."

I turned to look at Dominique who was seated next to me. I was about to tell her to work with me when I noticed Jacob had already moved his desk next to her. "Traitor," I mouthed.

"Sorry," she giggled.

I turned to my right towards Denise but Fred was already next to her. "Hey!" I told him. "Denise is my partner."

"Got here first," Fred winked at me.

"Work with James," I grumbled.

"I can't," he answered. "Neville won't let us work together remember what happened last time we worked together?"

"Right," I murmured as I remembered the accident. I am not exactly sure what happened but they almost burned the whole classroom if it wasn't for Neville who returned just in time to shut down the fire.

Everybody else already had a partner so James was the only option left which was quite surprising because about ¾ of the girls in school wanted to sleep with him or at least catch his attention. I must admit that James is an attractive guy but being the jerk he is.

"Hey," I said as I walked towards James. "Seems like it's you and me."

"I am beginning to think you are starting to like being close to me," he teased.

"Shut up and let's get to work," I glared at him. "I am just working with you because Fred wanted to annoy the hell out of Denise."

"And you're such a good friend that you allowed it." He said.

I was about to say something but then I closed my mouth trying to think of a good comeback which ended with me staying quiet and James laughing. After that Professor Longbottom started to explain the project we had to do and for my fortune that project was not one we would finish in a day or a week. I would probably never finish it do to the fact that I have the idiot of James Potter as my partner.

"This is boring," James whined after 10 minutes of working.

"Hearing you whine isn't going to make it better," I told him. "How about you tell me about what happened yesterday?"

"Well, this girl tried to corner me and eat the hell out of me but luckily I was able to escape her." He joked.

"You know what I mean," I said seriously.

"To tell you the truth I have no idea," he responded. "I had the strangest dream though."

"About what?"

"Got to go," he said as Professor Longbottom told us we were dismissed. He quickly stood and left the classroom leaving with nothing but doubt.

"How's the couple of the year doing?" Denise said as we walked out the classroom together.

"It seems that spending so much time with Fred has affected your brain," I joked. "I hope those rumors end soon or I am going to throw myself off the astronomy tower."

"I'll push you if it helps," Dominique said before the three of us started laughing like the lovely best friends we were.

Weeks passed and school seemed to hate us because we were packed with tons of homework. Fortunately for me the Quidditch game was getting closer though it also made life a bit harder because Jason was strictly hard on us. Each training started feeling heavier which started giving me doubts if Jason was really aiming for us to win the game or aiming to beat the hell out of our body before the game.

Jacob and Dominique finally started dating which was awesome though that meant we didn't spent as much time together so that left me with Denise who was constantly annoyed by Fred who was still trying to make her fall for him which at the moment wasn't working. I also started spending more time with James which obviously made the rumor of us dating continue. We were almost done with our Herbology project which was great because most of the others weren't near done but it seemed James and I were a great team. He worked fast and understood the way I wanted things done with ease. We still hadn't talked about the painting but it was basically because we had no idea what they were or if it meant anything at all. The only thing I knew was that James was obsessed with learning anything he could from them. I've caught sneaking out a couple of times already during the night looking for his mysterious paintings which I've given up on looking.

My dad's diary is something I have been spending a lot of time on. I've discovered things I would have never imagined my dad was capable of. Scorpius still annoys me but not as much do to the fact that I learned his secret, he's in love with Rose Weasley.
