Utah Zone D's POV

Today I've been left in charge of scouting around the zone. The smugglers want to have a talk with whoever runs the Fireflies.

Some don't want to leave still fearing that the bandits won't ever back off.

Walking around Clem asks, "So how do we find them?" I answer, "They'll find us." Getting to a cage three dogs bark as a guy sits close by counting ration cards.

Guy says, "Sorry you two these dogs just got sold. Come back in three days I'll have a new group then."

I step closer to hand him five cards. I say "Need you to point me in the right direction. Fireflies to be specific. Heard they might be recruiting."

Guy looks me up and down to say "Guy by the pier got word he's looking for anyone who can get past the guards."

Nodding Clem follows behind me as we head off towards the pier. Walking past another chain fence we see a group fight. People always find the same ways to bet and win cards.

Two guys stop me one looking me up and down. Guy says, "Sorry pal we got a toll here. Hand over eight cards and you can go."

Turning to the walk to the pier three guys sitting around turn seeing me. They all stand up asking why I'm going this way.

I say, "Heard some smugglers were looking for muscle. And a guy in the camp pointed me this way."

A voice says "No smugglers here smuggler." Looking behind me a woman in her mid thirties walks to Clem and me.

Woman asks, "Why are doing here smuggler we don't want any of your goods?"

I say, "So either you're the lady in charge or you work for the one in charge. Either way my friends want to ask if you'd calm down hitting the guards."

Woman looks at me as if I looked disgusting to say "And why the fuck would I listen get lost?"

I shrug to say, "Oh sure walk away you don't have any idea what kind of trouble you brought to this zone though."

She stops and looks at me asking what I know. I answer, "I know the guards aren't capable of protecting the people here thanks to all your bomb attacks. And that those attacks has brought a very bad group here trying to away find in."

I turn to her saying "Your little lights shows have brought bandits to the zone. The guards I talk to told me already five teams were lost scavenging.

"And two of their armored trucks got stolen. Only one guard managed to escape with a slug in his shoulder saying nearly twenty bandits took out his team."

The woman says fuck several times as the guys start to look worried.

The woman says, "So have any of you smugglers run into them?" I say, "You know us we know when to look and when to watch. And when to walk away."

Two guys pull out guns as the woman says, "Sorry can't let you walk away."

The guy says, "You know our faces and we can't have you talking to guards. Who knows maybe you're just telling us stuff so we'd stop. And then have the guards know where to find us."

The woman says "And we can't take chances. Not when we're close."

I look as the third guy pull a pistol but I know better not to come unarmed. I sigh to say "Well looks like this is your choice ok."

Grabbing Clem I buck behind a concrete divider. A few shots from them ring off before I look at Clem.

Looking up three more follow to which I grab Clem and start running. As the guards fire break out several more Fireflies join the attack.

Running into a parking lot I look around. Clem asks, "Will they come after us again?"

I answer, "We're not about to stay and find out." Punching out a windows glass I boost Clem in. But I duck as several shots hit close by me. Using a dumpster for cover I reload the handgun from the dead Firefly.

Pulling my shotgun from my backpack I fire a round making the two shooting at me take cover. Looking at Clem as she sits next to the window I talk to her.

I say "Clem meet me at the third hideout take this for emergencies only." Clem nods from the window as I throw her the other dead Fireflies pistol. I reload my shotgun this is going to take sometime.

Springtrap's POV

Waking up with Goldy hugging me just as much as I'm hugging him. I can't help but smile.

Sitting up I softly leave the bed and the room. Looking at the clock I see it's around one in the evening.
