After driving for nearly fifteen hours, Riley was back in Mystic Falls though her return was not well-received. She had not even stepped into the house before her parents found her carrying her bags and proceeded to lecture her for at least three hours. Despite their doubts about her whereabouts, she maintained her story that she was with Katherine. She could not bring herself to admit to them that she had traveled to New Orleans and learned of an insane prophecy about her. As punishment for leaving town abruptly, ignoring their calls, and lying about where she had been, she was grounded and forced to stay in her house after school for two weeks. Her father would pick her up from school to ensure she did not sneak off to the boardinghouse or one of her friend's houses. At school the next day, she endured even more lectures from Elena and Caroline. Both of them panicked over Riley's sudden disappearance and reprimanded her for having Damon be her messenger instead of speaking to them first before leaving Mystic Falls.

Only Bonnie understood that Riley had left for witch business. In the middle of their chemistry lesson, she and Bonnie exchanged notes and Riley told her about her experiences in New Orleans. Bonnie disregarded the prophecy that connected Riley and Klaus, saying that witches tended to be very dramatic and overreact to their visions. She assured Riley that the future was never concrete, considering it a puzzle with many pieces to fit together. During lunch, they would sneak off to the town line and cast the barrier spell to keep out other witches. Bonnie struggled a bit to use so much power at one time. After a few days, Riley decided to cast the spell on her own, not wanting to put her at risk. Ever since her visit to New Orleans, her magic seemed to increase tenfold. She was unsure if it was just a natural progression as she learned to control her magic or it was her anger fueling her. The constant messages from Klaus, sometimes through Stefan, only made her anger worse because just seeing or hearing his name brought her thoughts back to the prophecy.

As if having to deal with old prophecies and insane witches was not stressful enough, Riley soon learned that there were ancient drawings in an underground cave near the Lockwood cellar, referring to the Original family and the first werewolves. Rebekah, Klaus, and Elijah's names were carved in viking script into the cave wall. When Mason brought Damon through the caverns, it was discovered that vampires were unable to enter this specific cave due to a spell. Elena took it upon herself to question Rebekah about the drawings and her past. Riley did not trust Rebekah, worrying that she would kill Elena if they were alone. Since she could not be with Elena, due to her punishment, she handed her a message to give to Rebekah. The message warned the blonde vampire that if she laid a single hand on Elena, then Riley would figure out her own way to kill an Original while she tortured Rebekah painfully. Through their talks, Elena learned that their mother was the Original witch, the one who turned them into vampires and placed the hybrid curse on Klaus. Rebekah's hatred towards Mikael stemmed from the fact that he killed their mother but the drawings revealed the truth that Klaus was the actual killer. With this new information, Elena believed that Rebekah would help them get rid of Klaus.

Riley was sitting in her room, writing her history essay. Unable to see her friends, even on weekends, she occupied herself with homework. Her parents had locked up her spellbooks in her father's study to keep her from practicing more spells. During her New Orleans trip, Elena had visited her house, hoping to speak with her but when she learned that Riley was gone, she had a talk with Riley's mother. They discussed what happened at the bonfire, including how Riley's eyes appeared darker when using magic. Riley disliked that people were talking about her behind her back and it took every bit of restraint within her not to confront Elena. Her parents, concerned that her magic was having a bad effect on her, hid her spellbooks, claiming it was for her own protection. Though she could easily find the books, she did not want to anger her parents more so she left them in her father's study. As she flipped through her history book, her phone vibrated. She answered the call, putting the phone on speaker.

"Hey Jay. If you want to try to break me out, I won't stop you. I'm getting sick of this room"

"Riley, we have a problem. It's about Alison. Caroline was busy getting everything ready for homecoming so I offered to bring the blood bags to the Forbes cell. Rebekah overheard us and she's heading over there. What if she tries to let Alison out?"

Alison was still trapped in the Forbes cell. After the bonfire, Caroline visited the cell, hoping to connect with her over her newborn vampire status. Her attempts at teaching Alison to drink from animals instead of people were a complete failure. Afraid that letting her out would cause a massive problem in town, they brought blood bags to the cell to sustain her and Bonnie cast a spell on the cell door. Her family remained under Damon's compulsion, believing that Alison was sick with a bad case of the flu.

"She can't. There's a spell on that cell…if a vampire goes in there, they can't come back out"

"But she could compel someone else to let Alison out of there. I'm driving to the cell now"

"What? No, you can't. Jay, we talked about this. Rebekah is an Original and—don't go near that cell. I'll be right there"

Riley hung up her phone and hurried down the staircase, slipping on a pair of sneakers. Her mother left the living room, holding a stack of papers.

"Where do you think you're going, Riley? You're grounded"

"Mom, Jayden needs me. I have to go"

"No, you don't. You're grounded for"

"For lying, I know. You want to be honest? Then I will. Alison is a vampire. Rebekah turned her on the first day of school and she almost killed Jayden at the bonfire. We locked her up in the Forbes cell. Damon compelled her family to think that she's sick and that's why they've been telling everyone that she has the flu. Rebekah is going there now to probably free her for her own sick enjoyment"

"Why did you not tell us about Alison? We could have spoken to the council and"

"And what? They would be okay with it? Mom, you and I both know the council would kill her and as much as I hate her, I don't want her dead. Oh and since we're having this little honesty talk, I wasn't with Katherine. I was in New Orleans because I found a letter from grandma about me. It was addressed to you but I found it first. She knew about my magic and she wanted me to go there to figure out why witches are trying to kill me like they almost killed me in Chicago"

"Chicago?"

"That's why Klaus let me leave. I was almost sacrificed by a coven of crazy witches and I ended up killing most of them instead by accident. I've been putting up a barrier around this entire town to keep any other witches from coming after me and when I was in New Orleans, I learned that they think I'm going to turn into some evil witch because of the darkness inside of me and that I might have a demon baby with Klaus"

"Riley, you didn't need to lie. You could've told us this from the start"

"Really? Well I'm sorry that for once, I wanted you to not deal with supernatural craziness. You freaked out over Klaus almost draining me dry in France so I didn't think you would take this news well. We can have a long talk about it later. Right now, I'm going to save Jayden from Barbie Klaus before she makes a afternoon snack out of him"

Riley left the house and quickly drove over to the Forbes cell. Rebekah was standing outside, aware of the barrier spell surrounding it. She walked around the entrance, checking for any other ways to get into the cell. Jayden was hiding behind a tree. Riley poked his shoulder. He turned around, holding a stake gun. After learning the truth about supernatural creatures from Riley, he confronted his father who revealed a large collection of weapons against vampires, werewolves, and witches.

"R"

She covered his mouth. "Vampire hearing, remember? Be quiet. Stay here while I deal with Rebekah"

Riley walked over to the cell. Rebekah smirked, seeing her.

"This is a surprise. Aren't you supposed to be under house arrest?"

"I guess my mother made an exception for a bitchy blonde vampire who wants to release another vampire into the town. You really don't help that stereotype that blondes are dumb. Why would you turn Alison into a vampire?"

"She asked for it, Riley. She thought it sounded fun"

"I see that ninety years trapped in a box has made you lose all your brain cells. There is no way that you are letting Alison out of there"

"Are you going to stop me?"

"No. I will"

Jayden walked over to Riley's side. He fumbled with the stake gun. Rebekah laughed as a stake shot into the ground.

"I'm frightened" she said, sarcastically.

"Get out of here, Rebekah. My cousin might trust you but she has terrible judgment sometimes. I've tried being nice to you because you're Elijah's sister. If you push me too far, I'll make sure that Mikael drives a stake through you after he finishes with Klaus"

"You talk very big for a little girl. You and I both know this will end in one of two ways…either you kill her or the council will. I can't wait to see you two at homecoming tomorrow"

Rebekah vanished from the woods. Riley took the stake gun from Jayden.

"Stick with footballs and baseball bats. I don't think you're ready for this"

"I'll get the hang of it. I'll practice in my basement"

"Jay, you don't need to"

"Yes, I do. What if Klaus shows up again? I don't care that a stake can't kill him. I'll shoot him from head to toe if he comes near you"

"I appreciate that but you don't need to go all Van Helsing. Rebekah makes a good point. We can't keep Alison in here forever and if she won't go through with an animal diet, she's too dangerous"

"Homecoming is tomorrow and instead of thinking about the dance, we're wondering if we need to kill one of our classmates. Is it wrong that I think this is crazy?"

"We'll leave her for now. I'll talk to the others about it tomorrow while we go over the plan to"

Riley stopped herself, realizing that she almost told him about their plan with Mikael. Jayden looked at her, curiously. She went down into the cell and tossed the blood bags through a small opening. Alison banged against the door, screaming that she wanted to be released from the cell. When Riley returned to the woods, Jayden was waiting for her, arms crossed.

"What plan?"

"Jay"

"You didn't tell me about the supernatural world to keep me in the dark. What are you doing?"

"We're going to lure Klaus back to Mystic Falls"

"Why? Isn't it better that he's gone? I thought he ran away because Damon woke up his father"

"As long as Klaus is alive, no one is safe. He'll eventually come back for Elena so he can keep making hybrids. He could come back for Stefan to have a partner in crime or Rebekah because she's family"

"Or you?"

"Not me. Klaus has no reason to come back here for me"

He followed her back to her car. Riley tensed up when he mentioned that Klaus kept her with him for an entire summer. She lied that Klaus only wanted her around for her magic. Knowing that Jayden would not leave until he knew the truth, she explained the plan for homecoming. Stefan was going to call Klaus, explaining that Mikael was daggered. With Mikael out of the way, Klaus would return to Mystic Falls to see his father's dead body. Once he returned, Mikael would stab him with a special stake carved from the white oak tree. It was only the weapon able to permanently kill an Original vampire. Riley immediately refused when Jayden offered his help.

"Riley, a million things could go wrong with this plan. Tyler has some freaky loyalty to him, right? What if he tells Tyler to find out if one of you is plotting against him? You said yourself that Klaus is smart. He's not just going to believe that Mikael's gone for good"

"I don't want you involved"

"So I'm just supposed to sit back at homecoming and hope that Klaus doesn't tear out your throat at some point during the night? We're best friends. I'd do anything for you. Let me distract Tyler. It's an easy job. I can't be compelled because of my vervain bracelet and Klaus will just think that we're hanging out because we're both on the football team"

"You won't take no for an answer, will you?"

"You've known me all these years. Do I ever?"

She sighed. "Fine but when we're there, you don't talk to Klaus directly. You can nod your head and that's it. If I say you have to leave, then you leave, Jay. Meet me at the boardinghouse tomorrow at five. You don't need to bring any weapons. Leave the stake gun at home"

"Are you still grounded?"

"My mom made an exception for you. Remember, tomorrow, five o'clock"

Riley drove back to her house, seeing a middle-aged woman outside her door. She was cradling an injured hand. Cautiously, she walked onto the front porch.

"Are you okay?"

"I uh got in a bit of an accident on the road. Do you have a first-aid kit I could use, dear?"

"Sure. Come in"

Riley brought the woman into the kitchen. As she rummaged through a bottom cabinet, she asked about the injury. The woman had cut her hand while changing a tire. Riley reached for the first-aid kit. Out of the corner of her eye, she sensed the woman moving behind her. A knife plunged into her shoulder. Riley cried out in pain. The woman raised the knife again, her eyes turning slightly red. Riley's mother tackled the woman to the floor, knocking her out with a pan. She hurried over to Riley, who was holding her shoulder.

"Mom, I'm fi"

"You are not fine"

"I've got it. I don't need to go to the hospital"

Riley waved her hand over her shoulder. Within a few seconds, the wound healed. Part of her shirt was covered in blood. Her mother did not recognize the woman.

"She's not from around here. Why did she come into the house?"

"She said that she cut her hand changing a tire"

As her mother inspected the woman, Riley picked up the knife. A strange marking was carved into the handle. She had seen it before when flipping through of her spellbooks. It contained a list of covens around the world, along with their symbol. The marking matched the symbol for the Chicago coven.

"She seems normal to me"

"She was sent by witches. This is a symbol related to the coven in Chicago. When I went to New Orleans, one of the witches told me that the guy in charge was still alive. He's hiding somewhere. He figured out a way around the barrier…just send non-witches to do their dirty work. Guess he's smarter than I thought, huh?"

Her mother did not find the situation funny. She placed the woman in a guest bedroom upstairs and had Riley stay in the living room until her father returned to the house. He stopped complaining about one of the nurses when he saw the look on her mother's face and the blood on Riley's shirt. For an hour, Riley opened up to her parents about the witch business she kept secret from them. She doubted that the woman was sent to kill her. Alec wanted her alive to steal her magic so the attack was only meant to weaken her, allowing the woman to take her out of Mystic Falls. They headed up to the guest bedroom. The woman was laying on the bed, rubbing her head.

"What—how did I get—where am I?"

"You're in Mystic Falls" replied her father.

"Where is that? I live in Chicago. I don't remember driving here"

"You attacked my daughter"

She looked at Riley's father, surprised. "Excuse me? I would never harm anyone. I don't"

Riley flicked her wrist. The woman was knocked unconscious again. She told her parents that the woman was compelled through a spell. Her mother assumed that Alec compelled the woman to forget her orders in case she failed to obtain Riley. Walking over to the bed, Riley placed her hands on either side of the woman's head. She cast a spell to possibly figure out Alec's location. Searching the woman's mind, she saw her meeting Alec at a coffee shop and him compelling her to go to Mystic Falls to find Riley.

"She only met at a coffee shop. I don't know where he is"

"The important thing is that you're safe, Riley. I think it's best if you make her believe that she drove here by mistake. When she wakes up, I'll tell her that she got in a small accident and we brought her into our house"

After Riley implanted fake memories in her head and made a small dent in the woman's car, she woke the woman up and her mother explained the situation to her. Riley sat in the living room with her father. He squeezed her hand, comfortingly.

"You're safe"

"Am I? I thought that barrier would keep them out. I didn't even think about—next, it could be a vampire or a werewolf. Those witches in New Orleans wanted me to stay there and when I said no, they were probably mad. Maybe they'll spread the word about the possibility of a demon baby and everyone will just want me dead"

"Riley, there is not going to be a baby. You know how witches can be, especially with those visions. They don't see the entire picture, only small flashes of what could be. As long as you keep up that barrier, the more dangerous threat can't enter this town"

"Maybe there's another spell that could"

"The barrier is enough. I don't want you keeping things like to yourself anymore. You can come to us for anything, Riley. You're the most important thing in the world to me and your mother"

Riley leaned her head on his shoulder, looking at the knife in her hand. That night, she struggled to get even an hour of peaceful sleep. She could not stop thinking about her experiences with the witches in Chicago and New Orleans. Unable to sleep, she took multiple caffeine pills and snuck down to her father's study to find her spellbooks. She searched the books for any spells that could work as a stronger barrier to work against the possibility of people entering the town under the compulsion to attack her. For most of the next day, she looked through the books extensively, disguising them as fashion magazines. She could not find a single useful spell to help with this problem. Around four o'clock, she drove over to the boardinghouse, telling her parents that she was getting ready for the dance there with the girls. Damon was not pleased when she mentioned Jayden's part in the plan. He thought that Jayden would ruin the entire plan because he was, in his words, just a kid. Riley defended Jayden, assuring Damon that he would keep Tyler busy throughout the night. She, Damon, and Jayden were making wolfsbane grenades in the bathroom. While they made weapons in preparation for the dance, Riley drank vodka, hiding it in a water bottle. Jayden poured wolfsbane into a container.

"You sure you want a part in this, jock boy?" asked Damon.

"I'm not helpless"

"No. You're just not a vampire, a werewolf, or a witch, meaning that if you get hurt, you won't heal quickly"

"I can take care of myself, Damon. You need someone to make sure that Tyler doesn't know what you're really doing and report it to Klaus, right?"

"I'll tell you this now. If you're the reason that our plan fails, I'll snap your neck"

"Not if I stake you first"

"Enough with the macho showdown. Jay, come on. We'll get more wolfsbane and vervain from downstairs" she said, rolling her eyes.

Riley grabbed Jayden's arm, leading him down the hallway. As they turned towards the basement, she nearly bumped into Mikael. She recognized him from when she had that vision of Klaus in the gym on the night he turned Tyler into a hybrid. He was dressed in a crisp suit, reminding her of Elijah.

"I assume you're the little witch Damon mentioned"

"My name's Riley. Don't really have to guess who you are"

Leaning closer, he sniffed her neck. She stepped back, warily.

"I've met many little witches and none of them smelled quite as good as you"

"Yea well keep your fangs in because if you try to bite me, I'll rip them out myself and separate your head from your neck"

Mikael looked amused. She and Jayden headed down to the basement. Grabbing some vervain and wolfsbane, they returned to the bathroom. Elena was speaking with Stefan, worried that he would ruin their plan. Stefan pointed out that Elena was the one to worry about tonight, not him. He asked Riley for help with picking out the suit. Poking Jayden's chest, he promised to not get too handsy with her while they were alone. Jayden glared at him. Riley sat in Stefan's room, watching him try on multiple suits.

"Why am I up here?"

"Because I have to give you a message from Klaus and I thought it was better in private. He's hoping that you'll save him a dance tonight"

"He can hope all he wants. It's not going to happen"

"I think you owe him a bit. I mean, you've been ignoring his calls for the past two weeks"

"I'm not talking to you anymore until you're no longer his little lapdog"

Once they finished making the weapons, they got dressed for the dance. Riley was wearing a black lace mini dress with a low neckline and a cut-out in the back. She left her hair in loose waves and put on a pair of black heels with ribbons that tied around her ankles. Leaving the room, she saw Damon in Rebekah's bedroom, her body covered with a tarp. Elena had daggered her in the back as a precaution that Rebekah could change her mind in the middle of their plan and side with Klaus.

"We'll put her in the basement"

"Don't let Mikael see her"

"Don't worry about Papa Original. I came up with another plan in case he tries to betray us. Elena's not going to the dance. Katherine's going in her place"

"You think he'll hurt Elena?"

"I don't know what to think, Riley. We don't know what he'll do to get to Klaus. She'll stay here until we get back…hopefully after Klaus is dead. You remember your part in all this?"

"Keep Klaus distracted until we're ready to bring him here"

"Won't be hard in that dress"

Riley walked downstairs. Katherine was on the phone while Jayden stood beside her. Caroline had called, telling them that the dance was being moved to Tyler's house after the gym mysteriously flooded. Jayden pointed out that Matt would be arriving soon to pick up Rebekah for the dance, being her date.

"He'll just go with me"

"Won't that be awkward? You two used to date"

"It'll be fine, Jayden. It's like how you and Riley always go together as friends"

Katherine gave her a subtle wink. Jayden was not aware that she and Elena had switched places. When Matt arrived at the boardinghouse, they all drove over to the Lockwood mansion. Riley was surprised to see it packed with people, most of them not from their school, and a band playing outside.

"How did Tyler plan this so quickly?" said Jayden, confused.

"I'm guessing this is Klaus's party to celebrate his dad dying. He's not going to be mourning anytime soon. Go find Tyler. Don't ask him any weird questions. Just act normal"

"I'll text you if anything goes wrong"

Riley blended into the party, getting a drink from the keg and meeting up with Bonnie and Caroline. She checked for any sign of Klaus. He wanted Mikael's body to be brought to the party. Now that the party was no longer at the school, she needed to keep him distracted while Damon entered the house. Jayden texted her, warning her that there were other hybrids at the party. Riley left the keg for a fifth time, feeling slightly wasted.

"What are you doing, mini Gilbert?"

Katherine walked over to her. "You're drunk"

"I am not drunk"

"Tell auntie Katherine what's wrong"

"Witchy problems"

Their conversation was interrupted by Klaus. His eyes flickered to her. Before he could say one word, she walked back into the house. She continued to drink, watching him and Katherine. He seemed to be threatening her. As Riley snatched a beer bottle from a table, he appeared in front of her.

"Not even a hello?"

"I have nothing to say to you. I'm trying to enjoy myself. Go bother someone else"

"You look beautiful this evening"

"Is that the best you've got?"

He grabbed her hand, kissing it delicately. "Enchanting, mesmerizing…there's no word invented that could do you justice"

A small smile tugged at her lips. She moved her hand from his grasp. Damon passed through the crowd. Worried that Klaus could see him at any moment, she pulled him over to the beer pong table, asking him to play a game.

"You want to play beer pong?"

"Are you chicken? I'll warn you now that I'm amazing at this game"

"We'll see about that"

Two guys in their twenties stood close by, watching them. "I think you have stalkers" she whispered.

"Those are some of my hybrids. They won't hurt you"

She scoffed. "You're worried about them hurting me? They don't look that tough"

Riley kept him distracted with the game. She had just thrown a ball into her fifth cup. He accused her of cheating with magic.

"You think I'm cheating? Are you joking?"

"You clearly used it to make that shot"

"Just because you have the motor skills of an old man"

In an instant, he moved to her side of the table. He sat her on the table, his hand resting on her hip. Their faces were very close, their noses nearly touching. Her head was swirling from all of the alcohol. She could barely think straight. Her heart raced as he brushed her hair away from her neck. His arm slipped around her waist. As he leaned close to her neck, the memory of his fangs ripping into her flashed through her head, scaring her. She pushed him away, covering her neck with her hand.

"Riley"

"You're going to bite me again"

"I would not bite you"

"Stay away from me"

Riley disappeared into the large crowd. Stumbling outside, she sat on the porch, her head between her knees. She heard someone walk over to her. Glancing up, she saw Mikael with one of the hybrids.

"Hello little witch. Had too much to drink?"

"What are you doing? You're supposed to be…killing Klaus"

"Oh, I shall. That involves you"

"Wh"

The guy grabbed her roughly, covering her mouth. She was brought to the front of the house. Mikael stood at the doorway while the guy kept her hidden behind a column. Struggling against his grip, she listened to Mikael and Klaus. Mikael stabbed Katherine, thinking that she was Elena to ensure that Klaus could not make more hybrids. The guy stepped out to the doorway, holding Riley. She was pushed over to Mikael. Klaus's eyes widened.

"Let her go"

"Your little obsession? No, I don't think so. You seem quite taken with her. I can see why…she smells delicious. If you come outside, you could have a taste"

"She has nothing to do with this. Let her go now"

"Are you going to stop me, Niklaus?"

Riley screamed when Mikael's fangs sank into her neck. He pinned her to him, making it difficult to even breathe. She heard Klaus shout her name. As she moved her hand, Mikael snapped it back violently, breaking the bones. Her vision was very blurry. She could see him step past the doorway until Damon attacked him with the white oak stake. Mikael threw her to the ground. Riley laid on the grass, barely able to move. She heard more shouting and smelled something burning. Someone lifted her up carefully. She felt her head rest against their chest. Their wrist, with blood dripping from a shallow wound, was placed in front of her.

"You need to drink, love"

She recognized Klaus's voice. He encouraged her to drink his blood. His wrist pressed against her lips. Reluctantly, she drank the blood and her wrist slowly felt better.

"You're all right. Just keep drinking. Good girl"

When he moved his wrist, she could taste the blood lingering on her lips. Holding her, he returned to her house.

"You need to invite me in. Your parents aren't home and I can't leave you out in the cold"

"Come in" she said, weakly.

Seconds later, she was laying on her bed and drifted off to sleep…

~Klaus~

Klaus was inside Riley's bedroom. After her ordeal tonight, it did not take long for her to fall asleep. He wiped the blood from her neck, his fingers brushing against the barely visible bite marks. Watching Mikael drain her was a terrible sight. He never wanted her to be caught in the middle of their feud. At that moment, he had been willing to face Mikael if he meant he could save her.

Looking around her room, he noticed a coat draped across the chair at her desk. He knew it belonged to Elijah. Anger rose in the pit of his stomach. Even daggered in a box, he had a hold on her heart. He moved the papers on her messy desk and smiled at her many drawings. As a young girl, they shared a common interest in art. Picking up her drawing of a forest, he found a diary. He flipped through it, noting that it was empty since her ninth birthday. The next entry had been written last night.

Dear Diary,

I haven't written in here for a long time but with everything going on, it seems like a good day to write. I finally told Mom and Dad what happened in Chicago and why I was in New Orleans. I knew they would freak out when they heard that a bunch of crazy witches want me dead. They keep telling me not to worry, even after some woman was compelled to stab me and drag me back to Chicago. If that wasn't bad enough, I feel like I'm going crazy. I keep losing track of time. It's like I'm blacking out at random moments. One minute, I'll be sitting in chemistry, pretending to care about the boring lesson and the next, I'll be eating lunch with Caroline, Elena, and Bonnie. I try to remember what's happened between those moments but nothing works. Who am I supposed to talk to about this? My parents are already panicking over my witch problems and everyone else is busy trying to find a way to get rid of Klaus. I just feel so alone.

Klaus closed the diary, placing it on the desk. Riley was shivering in her short dress. He placed the blanket over her and kissed her forehead.

"You're not alone. I will not leave your side. What happened tonight will never happen again. If someone dares to harm you, I'll rip their heart from their chest"

Klaus stayed in her room for the rest of the night, watching as she tossed and turned in her sleep…

A/N: Thanks for reading. After this incident at homecoming, Riley will start seeing a different side to Klaus. There are going to be more private moments between them, especially now that he's aware of the witches plotting against her. Their time spent together will raise questions from her friends and there may be another clash between Riley and Elena.
