« Tonight ? You mean prepare the boxes now?" "No. I meant move now. Take a few things and go sleep there. There's a fully equipped kitchen. We don't need much..." "And where do you intend to sleep? We would have to camp in our own place." "Oh, yeah... We could take your hiking sleeping bags. Get settled in the living-room. Watch the sun set..." Will is excited to the point of shouting. Sonny is ready to agree to anything if this can last. He goes dig in his cupboard and comes off with a few candles. They aren't the same size but they'll do.

They build up an adventurous, out-of-time atmosphere. For this evening, they're the only one left on the planet. They don't need anything beside themselves. And a lube bottle of course... Sonny has placed it on the kitchen counter but is in no hurry to use it. He helps Will with the strawberry juice he's discovered and put on Common Ground's menu, into a Champaign glass. Will drinks slowly and his lips turn red. Sonny stops him regularly to suck them. He hasn't touched his own glass yet. Will has taken his shirt off and kept his jeans. He looks like a semi-god and Sonny is ready for all kid of blasphemous activities. They don't even have chairs, so they've laid a blanket on the floor and slid their legs in the sleeping bags. Sonny undoes Will's sleeping bag zipper and slides off his own legs to tangle them with Will's. The skin if their chest coming in contact is refreshing and brings him peace... They don't have alcohol, Will is too young, yet Sonny's head is spinning and he's sure that if he got up, he couldn't walk straight. "I love you, Will. You know that, don't you?" "I do, of course, and Sonny...?" Sonny constrains himself into following the conversation instead of glaring at the tender parts of Will's neck "Mmmm?" "Can I call you my lovely darling? Or is it too much...?" Sonny grins "I love it! And you're my little kitten..." They are entwined, in their underwear, now and on the point of getting serious, when they hear the doorbell. "Fuck! Who can it be? You told someone we'd be here tonight?" "No. Maybe it's Fin?"

It's his brother. Tyler stands at the door, hand in hand with Payne, looking particularly embarrassed to find them bare-chested and see the little island of fabric on the floor behind them. "Shit, we should have called... It's a pity, we wanted to surprise you." "How did you know we were there?" "I saw you pass by the window. Fin told me earlier and we are excited. We're having a little welcoming party with some friends we made in the building. But we can cancel, I mean..." Sonny thinks fast. What would be better for Will? Create links can be a good idea. As a couple, it's even better... But he'll sure need a cold shower. He sends Will a look and realizes they've reached the point when they don't always need to talk to communicate. At least for this kind of decisions. They take up the other bottle, of quince juice, and are introduced to two other young nice couples. Sebastian and Mary are living on the last floor, while Pacey and Any are living across them. Across their home... Sonny still has trouble believing it. Things happened fast. He hopes it's not too fast or Will. He sees him socialize, go into another room without him. He must be better. Sebastian is an engineer who just got engaged. Mary is lovely and sweet but looks a little lost. She can listen, though, and Sonny starts telling her about his trips and his climbing. Will passes in front of him then comes back with a deck of cards. Sonny, who hates this kind of games, has a little smile and hears Payne call from the bedroom "Will, you found them?" Sonny would like to slip away early but after seeing Will so relaxed, he'll have to wait.

After an hour, he goes see where they're at. Will is seated on the edge of the bed, looking very serious. Payne and Sebastian are looking at him with apprehension. Will is very good at cards. He's terribly intelligent which makes him a harsh adversary. Sonny waits for him to play to give him a small kiss in the neck. Will vibrates. He looks at Sonny with a lot of love and they stay that way for a while, Sonny's hand on Will's shoulder, eye in eye, having forgotten the others, until they are reminded by a shrill. It's Sebastian, who looks ill-at-ease. Strange. He knows Payne and Tyler are a couple, right?

They walk down with enough food for breakfast, even though Sonny has explained they had planned to go to Common Ground the next morning. He has an afternoon shit anyway. But his mates don't take no for an answer, which make him grateful for living there. He knows Chad and Abby like Tyler. A good thing as they are all helping with the move. Even Sebastian will. He must have noticed sonny picking up his reaction. Mary has promised to provide the food and Any will get them half-priced curtains in the shop she works at.

They come back to the apartment, tired but happy. Sonny stops at the door, and disregarding his exhaustion, he places his arm behind Will and lifts him off the floor to enter. Will kisses him, gets laid down, takes his jeans off and spreads his legs. Sonny runs to the bottle, catches a condom and shows Will how happy he is exactly after this evening. And Will shows his appreciation. They don't know how sound proof the walls are, they didn't ask yet. So Sonny takes Will's mouth in his to muffle his moans. Their first time in their new place is wild and tender. They fall asleep in the biggest sleeping bag, Will's body pressed against a delighted Sonny. Things are looking up.
