I know I'm a little late with this chapter, but I've struggled and struggled with where to go with this chapter, and it ended up like this. Also, the internet has been down for me the passed few days, so I couldn't upload anything. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter!

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT! IT MEANS ALOT!

Please remember to review at the end! :)

Caroline dropped her bag in the room; Bonnie designated hers, for the time being.

"Is there anything I can get you?" Bonnie asked, from the doorway.

Right after they had arrived at Bonnie's home, Katherine and Rebekah had left to talk some sense into Klaus, or beat it into him. Caroline had to smile at that.

She shook her head, and moved to sit down on the bed. "Why are being so nice to me?" She asked, looking at Bonnie, who smiled softly.

"A few months ago, I might not have been, but I know you, and I know you didn't mean to hurt this family." She answered, honestly.

Caroline nodded her head, and bowed it. "I should have seen the signs." She whispered, pushing her hair from her face.

Bonnie frowned. "What signs?" She asked, walking further into the room.

Caroline sighed. "The signs that pointed him out to be the Hybrid." She answered, nodded, and then shook her head. "I can't believe I fell for that." She replied, with a scoff.

Bonnie smiled, and chuckled. "Klaus has a tendency to make you believe that what he does is alright." She paused, and sat down next to Caroline. "That's what he does. He manipulates. That's what makes him good at his job." She added, smiling.

Caroline nodded, and groaned. "But still, I should have known he was more than just a leg man." She replied, wiping her eyes with her hands.

"You know, come to think of it, it's not fair is it?" Bonnie asked, turning her body to face Caroline.

"What's not?" Caroline asked, turning her head to look at her friend.

"The fact that he can be mad at you, but you can't be mad at him for lying to you for the past three months." Bonnie stated, with a fire in her green eyes.

Caroline smiled, and nodded. "You're right." She agreed, with a laugh. She giggled once more. "Oh, I should have told him that at the time." She replied, but then sobered up. "At the time, all I could think about was how much I hurt him, and how I hurt for lying to him." She added, solemnly.

Bonnie smiled faintly. "Look at it this way, Caroline, when he cools down, you will be able to say that you're mad at the fact that he lied to you too." She remarked, firmly.

Caroline nodded, and smiled. "I don't blame him though, after all, I'm partial to blame in all this." She replied, slumping slightly.

Bonnie smiled, and stood up. "When all is said and done, Caroline, everyone is partially to blame." She whispered, tenderly.

Caroline nodded, and stood up. "Would you mind if I walk down to the docks?" She asked, moving towards the door.

Bonnie shook her head. "Take all the time you need." She answered, as Caroline walked out of the room.

"I wish I could say the same for your heart." She added in the silence of the room.

Klaus downed another glass of bourbon, and frowned as he slammed the glass on the table.

He heard the door to the study open, and he frowned as he looked up to see two women standing in the doorway.

"Leave me alone." He growled, turning away from the bar, and headed towards his desk.

Rebekah and Katherine walked further into the room, and frowned as they crossed their arms over their chests.

"No." They replied, together.

Klaus shook his head, and sat down in his leather desk chair, and glared at them. He didn't say a word as they stopped in front of the desk.

"When do you think it will work?" Rebekah asked Katherine with a sly smirk.

Katherine smiled devilishly, and shrugged, as she looked down at the dainty watch on her wrist. "Five minutes."

Klaus frowned, and moved his eyes between both of them. "What have you done?" He ordered, glaring at his sister.

Rebekah smirked. "Knocking some sense into you." She answered, as his eyes began to droop.

Klaus shook his head, as he began to feel drowsy, and stood up. "What the hell?" He asked, staggering around the desk.

Katherine smiled. "Next time, don't drink the bourbon." She replied, as Klaus glared at her and then collapsed on the floor.

Rebekah glanced at Katherine and sighed. "I think you gave him too much." She replied, as they kneeled down to check to see if he was out.

Katherine smirked. "No, he just drank more than I thought he would." She replied, looking up to see Elijah enter the study.

He smirked, and motioned behind him. Kol entered with a devilish gleam in his eyes, as he approached his unconscious brother.

"Where do you want him?" He asked, picking him up with Elijah on the other end.

The girls smiled, and pointed out the door. "Art room." They said together.

Kol nodded, and, with Elijah's help, carried an unconscious Klaus out the room towards the Art room.

As they settled Klaus down, Kol and Elijah helped tie him up. Kol chuckled at the sight before him. When he had heard of what had transpired, at first he wanted revenge on Caroline for lying to his family, but when Bonnie told him how much Caroline was hurt for it, he had cooled down. He wasn't sure why he did, maybe it had something to do with Bonnie telling him that Caroline was her friend, or maybe it was because Klaus loves her despite it all. All he knew was, Caroline was a part of the family, and that was enough for him.

He stepped back, and smiled at the work they had done. "When will he wake up?" He asked the two behind him.

Rebekah checked her watch, and shrugged. "He could be out for an hour or two, depends on how much sedative he downed." She replied, glanced at Katherine.

Katherine smirked. "He should be so lucky." She replied, coldly.

They all nodded.

Yeah, he should be.

Joey frowned as he leaned against the wall outside the door, and moved quietly and quickly out the door.

He didn't know everything that was going on, but from what he could tell; his mom was not visiting a sick friend.

His dad had thrown her out, and for what reason, he didn't know for sure, something about her being a Marshal. Joey shook his head, and headed down the walkway. One thing he knew with absolute certainty, his dad was miserable without his mom, and now he was going to get her back.

He had just found a new family, and gained a mom and a dad, he was not about to let pride or anger get in the way of his family having happiness.

Caroline approached the railing just a few feet away from the restaurant, and placed her forearms on top. She closed her eyes, and felt the wind blow her face, and sting her wet cheeks.

She knew it was silly to cry over the incident, but she loved him, and she hadn't even told him. She had tried, but he wouldn't listen to her. She shook her head, as she opened her eyes. She knew what she had to do.

She had to leave. She couldn't wait on whatever Katherine and Rebekah had planned. She had to leave, and…

She shook her head, and bowed it. She couldn't leave, as much as she needed to, she had to stay, not only for herself, but for Joey.

She couldn't leave Joey. She couldn't. He was her son, and she loved him too.

She heard footsteps behind her, and she sighed. "I'm fine, Bonnie." She replied, softly.

When she heard no reply, she slowly turned around, and her eyes widened.

"Wh…" She began, before a fist collided with her face.

She jerked her head up, and stopped the next blow with her hands, pushed at the forearm of her assailant.

She pushed her elbow up and collided it with the man's face, and brought her knee up to collide it on his manhood.

She started to run, towards the restaurant, when arms wrapped around her, and she began to fight, until a needle jabbed into her neck.

"MOM!"

She moved her eyes to the side of the building, and felt her body go limp as the drug began to run through her body. "Joey…" She whispered, weakly, falling into darkness.

Klaus rolled his head, and groaned as his eyes blinked open. He felt bindings around his wrists, and he began to growl when he jerked at the bindings.

"Aw, sleeping beauty is awake."

He jerked his head up, and glared at the body leaning against the closed door. "Untie me!" He shouted, moving back and forth in the chair.

Katherine smirked, and shook her head. "Not gonna happen." She replied, crossing her arms over her chest.

He growled, and tried to move his wrists against the arms on the chair. "What the hell did you give me?" He shouted, glaring at her.

Katherine smirked once more, and chuckled. "Just a little sedative, nothing too damaging, unfortunately." She added under her breathe.

He sighed, and rolled his eyes. "What do you want?" He asked, in a tense voice.

"Just some sense." She answered, shrugging her shoulders.

He narrowed his eyes. "What?"

She smiled, and pushed away from the door. "Some sense as to why you are throwing away the love a lifetime for one simple lie." She replied, approaching him.

He clenched his jaw. "Get the hell out of my house." He growled, his eyes darkening with rage.

She shook her head, and shifted on her feet. "No." She stated, firmly.

He turned his head, and looked at the far wall.

She shook her head. "You are really a piece of work, aren't you?" She asked, though it sounded like a statement.

He kept silent, but his jaw clenched in anger.

"You get angry over the fact that Caroline lied to you about what she did for a living." She began, pointing her finger at him, causing him to lower his eyes. "And yet you lied to her as well." She added, strongly.

Klaus jerked his head to glare at her. "I never lied to her!" He shouted, jerking in the chair.

Katherine scoffed, and shook her head. "Yes, you did!" She nearly shouted. "You didn't tell her you were the Hybrid." She stated, watching him narrow his eyes.

"I never pretended to be something I'm not." He tried to reason.

She opened her mouth, and let out a small laugh. "Neither did she." She returned, watching him scoff.

"Bullshit." He remarked, turning is head away from her.

Katherine narrowed her eyes, and glared at him. "Do you even know her real name?" She asked, watching him turn his head back to her.

His silence said it all.

"You never gave her chance to tell you, did you?" She asked, watching him swallow, and avoid her eyes. She smiled, and bent down to his level. "It's Forbes. Caroline Forbes." She replied, watching his eyes widen.

"William Forbes' daughter." He whispered, in a strangled voice.

She nodded. "That's right." She replied, straightening. "She was going to tell you, but you threw her out before she could explain." She added, folding her arms over her chest once more.

"She's a damn Marshal!" He shouted, jerking in the chair.

Katherine smirked. "I know." She replied, turning away from him.

"How long?" He asked in a demanding tone.

She paused, and turned to look at him. "For as long as I've known her." She answered, with a gleam in her eyes. "How do you think she became a Marshal?" She asked, watching Klaus glare at her.

"You know, for someone who thinks he knows everything about her, you don't know a damn thing." She added, walking towards the door. "Before you judge her or get angry at the fact that she lied to you, look at it from her point of view, you lied to her, and also, she spent the past three months caring for you and for this family." She replied, reaching for the doorknob. "She loves you, Klaus, and for the life of me I don't understand why." She added, opening the door, and leaving Klaus alone in the room.

Joey ran as fast as he possibly could. Tears streaked his face, as the scene replayed over and over in his mind, his mom fighting, but then succumbing to a needle in her neck, and being carried away by men in dark clothes. He had gone inside the restaurant to find Bonnie unconscious, but alive. He ran outside to find his mother being drugged and carried away, and now, he needed help.

His legs burned with each step he made, and he felt the tears burn his eyes, and stream down his face.

He looked behind him, and was relieved when he didn't see anyone behind him. He rounded the corner, and ran straight for the walkway.

"DAD!" He screamed, running up the walkway, watching the door open to reveal Rebekah and Kol in the doorway.

"Joey, what's wrong?" Rebekah asked, kneeling down to catch his arms.

"I have to get to dad." He remarked, pushing past her, and ran into the house.

Rebekah straightened and followed him with Kol hot on her heels.

Joey burst through the door to the art room, and found Klaus still strapped to the chair. "Dad, you have to help her." He screamed, reaching for Klaus' wrists.

Klaus looked at his son, and narrowed his eyes. "Help who?" He asked, watching Joey begin to shake with sobs.

Joey looked up into his dad's eyes, and cried. "Mom." He replied, simply, watching his dad's face become solemn. "She was taken by some bad men. They drugged her, and dragged her away." He turned to Kol, and cried. "They knocked Bonnie out." He added, watching Kol run out of the room, and out the door.

Rebekah walked calmly towards Joey, and knelt down. "Joey, what exactly did you see?" She asked, careful not to touch him.

"I overheard your conversation about how dad threw mom out because she was a Marshal, so I went to see if I could bring her back." He began, not looking at his dad, who was clenching his jaw and closing his eyes. "I went where Bonnie works, and found Bonnie lying on the floor, so I went outside, and saw mom fighting with some men, but they jabbed a needle into her neck, and took her away." He paused, to catch his breath, and turned to look at his dad. "Please, you have to get her back, dad." He cried, inhaling deeply with each sob. "You have to." He cried, tears pouring out of his eyes.

"Please."

At the last word, Klaus opened his eyes, and the look said it all.

He was getting Caroline back.

Please be kind!

I hope to get more chapters up this weekend, but I'm not making promises.
