Will's nap has been beneficial and he's way less passive. He manages to undress Sonny first and thrust him on the bed. He's soon all over him, his lips fluttering on his face. Sonny feels a tidal wave going through him, carrying the tenderness that they share in that moment. Will's movements are slow, he pauses often, as if to take his breath back, but it's so he can look into Sonny's eyes and it's his own breath that's stopped. Will looks like he's gotten to the brink of his passion. His eyes are as dark as sky blue can get, his voice is rough and heavy with love. His lips are swollen, they melt on Sonny's skin, surrounding him with warmth, filling him with desire. "Will..." "Yes, my love?" "You know how much I love you?" Will doesn't reply but changes his approach and soon Sonny is begging him to go further, in a whisper, as they aren't alone in the house. They unite and Sonny really feels he has his man back, the one he was before he left, before Adam, even. Will seems free and happy and audacious.
They're still tired and drained, yet they get almost no sleep that night. Any motion in the bad get one of them back to the game. Sonny has lost count of his orgasms. Luckily, Marlena is only leaving around noon, so they manage to sleep in the late morning.
In the car, Marlena talks to Will with animation, then she includes Sonny in the conversation. After a while, it's Will who's silent and Sonny notices his sulky-looking face. He resists panicking and decides to just ask. He lays his back on the seat and murmurs "Kitten, what's wrong?" Will is looking at his own fingers as they brush Sonny's forearm, then he answers, ill-at-ease "What are they going to say?" "Who?" "Everyone. I left and you must have been so bad and they'll judge me and be mad at me, even T will think I'm a moron."
It's hard for Sonny to answer. He would like to reassure him but Will isn't a little kid. It's hard to predict the reaction each person will have. Chad has taken this to heart and might have problems forgiving Will, even though he did drag Abby to hell once... One thing is sure, though "T will support you. He was really worried about you. I'm certain he'll understand. I'll talk to Chad and I don't think Payne and Tyler have heard anything. Mary, that's another thing. She looks angry at the both of you, but mostly at him for having lied to her." "And your parents? I guess they'll tell you ro reconsider, that you shouldn't make a mistake..." Not at all, mom was worried for you actually. And dad is very tolerant. He knows we all make mistakes." "Yeahhh... Expect you and him..." Sonny grins "I have a half-brother, Will. And mom forgave him. I don't know if I would have been able to, if it had happened, but I didn't need to. What you felt that day, it happens, it's human. I believe that when they see me happy again, they'll let it go. Remember Chad and Mel's story."
He adds, in a soft voice, more for him than for Will "And, who knows, maybe just being back together with me will be enough for your happiness, no?" But Will hears and raises azure eyes to him. He kisses his cheek and answers "You're right, I'm a moron. I'm afraid what people will think but you're the most important one. I love you so much. It was so hard these last days, I couldn't even sleep." He adds with a small smile "I was thinking I should let you choose any of my new friends from now on, cause I am really bad at it." Sonny chuckles and holds Will in his arms. They must have fallen asleep, because now they're in Salem and Marlena parks next to their place.
Sonny calls Chad to know how things are going at the shop "It's under control. T and I, we're a good team and Abby has helped too. But if you could come to finish the day, I would appreciate it. Is Will with you?" "Yes, he's asleep. I wanted to talk to you about him, before you guys meet." "OK, come now, then."
Sonny leaves a note on the night table and caresses Will with his eyes.
At the coffee-house, he's swept away in the whirlwind of activities, yet he manages to talk to Chad privately "Of course, I won't make him feel bad. But if he had really left you, it would have been different. I've known Will longer, but I would have stayed by your side. I was mostly angry because it's so obvious you guys are best when you're together. If that guy comes sniffing around, I'll be on his case!"
T asks to leave early "Sonny, do you think I can go and see Will?" "Wait a minute, I'll check if he's up." Sonny send 'Are you all right my love?' Thirty seconds later, his cell's screen reads 'Yes. You have to work longer? I miss you.' Sonny gulps, then nods.
Sonny insist on closing on his own, so he's only back for dinner time. He's welcomes by a smell to die for. Will isn't that good at cooling, is he? He hears voices and finds T and Will laying the table, while Mary is busy in the kitchen. Sonny kisses Will and asks "You need help?" T pulls a chair and says "No, no, put your feet under the table, that's all." He whispers "It's to thank you for going there, taking him back and forgiving him." Sonny raises an eyebrow and asks quickly "And Mary...?" T blushes.
