Hey! So I decided to keep writing this, a lot of you must hate me right now, but whatever! Also I got a question from someone called kilppari and this is her question:
Shouldn't Kim have ninja mask or something to protect her identity?
Casey uses his hockey mask for that purpose so why not she?
Well kilppari, the reason why Kim doesn't have a ninja mask is because she doesn't really have an identity to keep secret. She's lived in the sewers almost her whole life with the turtles and she was never allowed on the surface until the first chapter. Even if her enemies saw her face they couldn't look her up on the internet or something because she never really existed. Also Kim has been asking Master Splinter a long time for a mask but Master Splinter is too lazy to do it! :P
SO1E03- Attack of the Mousers
"Jeez Mikey you made her faint!" I said walking over to him.
"What!? All I said was Hi." Mikey said still holding her.
"This might shock you Mikey, but not all humans are used to huge green mutant turtles." I said sarcastically.
"I wonder how she got down here." Don said. He walked up to her and checked her pulse.
"I think we should take her back up to the surface." Leo said. Mikey held onto the girl tighter.
"No way! What if those munching robot things come back for her? We can't just leave her defenseless." Mikey said.
"I think Mikey's right…for once...she could have some information about those mouser's. There has to be a reason why those things were chasing her." Don said trying to convince Leo. Leo thought about it.
"Fine." Leo said and just walked down the tunnel.
"Need any help with her Mikey?" Don asked.
"I got her." Mikey said tightening his grip a little more. It was a long walk back to the lair. We had to take the long way around because Mikey had trouble carrying the lady. Raph even took her from him so we would move faster. Mikey kept whining that he wanted to carry her.
We finally got back to the lair and Raph set the lady down on the couch, I went straight to bed. I barely got any sleep. I had no nightmares that night.
I was awoke by someone knocking on my door. Leo walked in.
"The lady is starting to wake up. I think you ought to come down and keep her calm if she starts to freak out." Leo said. I just nodded and he left my room. I put on a red tank top and a pair of black crop pants. I also quickly put my hair up in a high ponytail. I walked down the stairs to find the guys gathered around the couch, waiting for the girl to wake up. I walked over to them and sat down in the lazy boy by the couch the girl was on. After a few minutes she stirred in her sleep and her eyes fluttered open.
"Oh man." She mumbled.
"What a dream! Turtle fighting robots? Did I fall asleep watching TV again?" She wondered to herself still not realising where she was.
"That was the.." Then she looked up and saw the guys.
"Weirdest thing I ever seen!" She finished starting to freak out. Mikey gave her a big smile and winked at her. I rolled my eyes. She looked around dazed. Then she saw me sitting in the lazy boy.
"What's happening?" she asked me.
"Your in our home. We saved you from the mousers." I said nonchalantly. Then Mikey went up to her.
"Hi!" He said getting right in her face. She screamed and then Mikey let out a high pitched girly scream. Mikey backed up quickly.
"Whoa, please don't do that! Almost jumped out of my shell!" Mikey said.
"How do you think she feels?" I mumbled.
"It has three fingers!" She said grabbing the pillow and putting it over her head and kept mumbling I'm asleep, I'm asleep, I'm asleep!
"This isn't going very well." Don noted.
"Hey, we haven't talked to any other humans besides Kim! It's going to take a little time." Mikey said. The girl just kept sitting there and kept saying I'm asleep, I'm asleep! Mikey yawned.
"Man, she's making me sleepy." He said. Then Raph came over and tapped the girl on the shoulder.
"Hey you!" He said getting her attention. She looked out from the pillow for a second.
"What?" She asked, dazed.
"What do you know about those mouser robot things?" He asked trying to change the subject. She thought about it for a second.
"Well, first I thought they were for cleaning up the cities rat problem. But, then I got suspicious, when Dr. Stockman said...Oh no! I'm talking to it!" She said stopping in mid sentence.
"What?" I asked. She looked at me.
"I'm talking to it! To them! Ok April, you are talking to a giant three fingered turtle. The only logical explanation is you're dreaming. Right? Right!?" She asked turning to me.
"Umm, sure." I said not knowing what else to say. She hugged the pillow.
"Yeah, Yeah...So everything...is ok." She said to herself slowly. Then she turned to the guys.
"Hello!" She said kind of dreamily. I could tell her mid was teeter tottering on the line of dreams and reality.
"Uhh, Hello...April...How are you doing?" Leo said carefully, so she wouldn't make her faint again.
"Oh, I'm fine! Everything is absolutely great!" She said still dreamy like and gave a small laugh. Then Master Splinter walked up to her. She let out a small shriek.
"Then perhaps you are ready to answer some questions?" Master splinter said.
"Your...You're a!" That was where she fell off the edge. She fainted. I started to crack up a little.
"You sure have a way with the ladies, Master Splinter." Don said.
"Now what are we going to do?"
"Let's nudge her." Leo said shaking her shoulder a bit. I was still cracking up. They treated April like she was a strange object to them.
"I'll snap her out of it!" Raph said. He was about to smack her, but then Master splinter stopped him.
"Raphael, No!" Master Splinter said. Mikey walked away losing interest in the girl. He put on some headphones to listen to some music.
"Somebody get me when she wakes up!" Mikey said and he started to listen to his music.
"What are we going to do when she wakes up again?" Don asks. We all thought for a moment.
"Maybe I should talk to her." I said. The guys all turned their heads to look at me.
"At least she won't freak out when she see's me and maybe I can get her to calm down a bit."
"Then it is settled. Kim will talk to her when she wakes up." Master Splinter said and walked off to his room. I turned to the guys.
"Maybe it's best if you guys aren't here when she wakes up. Not yet, anyway." I said. They all nodded. Raph went to his room to work out, Leo went to meditate somewhere, and Don went to his lab.
"We'll just be in our rooms if you need anything." Don said before leaving.
"Ok, Thanks." I said and he left. I sat in the lazy boy waiting for her to wake up. I thought about what I was going to say and how I was going to approach her.
Hey, robots attacked you and we saved you, and the guys are mutated turtles living in the sewers, no biggy. I laughed at the thought. It was probably an hour later when my eyes were getting heavy, when all of a sudden, she started to move. I snapped out of my haze. I hesitantly touched her shoulder and shook her.
"April? April." I said softly. Her eyes opened slowly. Then she sat up slowly and stretched.
"Huh? What happened and where am I?" She said about to freak out.
"You were attacked, don't worry you're safe." I said putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder. She looked around.
"Where am I?" She asked.
"This is our home. We brought you here so you could recover." I said. She looked like she thought about something.
"I had this weird dream. That these huge turtles saved me from these robots and…" She stopped in mid sentence.
"That wasn't real was it?" She asked. I approached her carefully.
"Yes" I said calmly.
"You can say the guys are...different. But don't worry, there not here to hurt you." I said reassuringly. She started to breath faster.
"Please don't freak out. You can trust them." I said. She looked like she was still running this through her brain.
"How did they get here?" She asked, trying to get her mind off it. I thought about this.
"That's probably a question for my Master to answer." I said. She looked confused.
"Your master?" She asked.
"Yes, he's kind of like a father to me. But he's also...different." I said and by her look I think she got what I meant.
"Oh." She said.
"Do you want to meet him? I mean, if you're ready." I asked. She thought for a moment.
"Just give me a minute." She said and I nodded. She closed her eyes and breathed for a minute.
''All right." She said ''I'm ready." I nodded and went to Master Splinter's room. I had just gotten to the door when the door swished opened and Master Splinter came out with a tray of tea. I followed closely behind him.
"Hello. I am Splinter." Master Splinter said. He poured a cup of tea.
"Tea?" He asked.
"Um, yes please." She said. Master splinter poured some more tea into two more cups handing me and April a cup. She took a sip, at first, hastily, but then gladly took some more.
"This is good." She said quietly and gave a small smile.
"Thank you." Master splinter said and he took a sip out of his own.
"My sons are very interested in meeting you." Master splinter said.
"They helped save you." I filled her in.
"Oh, well thank you." She said.
"Do not thank me Miss…?" Master Splinter said.
"O'Neil. April O'Neill." April said.
"Miss O'Neil, I think it is my sons who you should thank." Master Splinter said.
"Would you like to meet them?" I asked. She looked hesitant but then said,
"Sure."
I got up and went to find the guys. I opened Raph door and he was punching the crud out of his punching bag.
"Yea?" He asked.
"She's up and she's ready to meet you." I said.
"Also, get Mikey up will you?" I asked. Then I went and got Leo and Donny. Soon we were all gathered around April.
"So, you ok now?" Mikey asked slowly.
"Yes, Thanks. I've decided that this is a very long dream I keep not waking up from, or this is the weirdest thing that ever happened to me." She said.
"Miss O'Neil. We have something most important to discuss." Master Splinter said.
"What?" She asked.
"We have never revealed ourselves to the upper world. You have placed us all in great danger." Master Splinter said.
"But Master Splinter, she was in trouble and we helped her." Leo said.
"Yea, aren't you always teaching us to try to do the right thing?" Raph asked, arms crossed.
"As you grow older, you will learn there are many ways to do the right thing," Master Splinter said sternly,
"But there is no going back. I'm afraid we find ourselves at your mercy." Master Splinter said looking towards April.
"We can trust her, Master. Right April?" I said asking her, trying to defend April.
"I would never tell anybody." She said to me.
"I mean, who would believe me?" She said with a small smile, trying to be funny.
"She's got a point." Don noted.
"Yea! Where unbelievable!" Mikey said flexing.
"Geez where's your off switch!?" Raph said to him annoyed.
"Right here!" I said and smacked Mikey upside his head.
"Ow!" Mikey said rubbing his head. Me and Ralph laughed at him.
"Seriously, I promise." April said. Master Splinter got up from his chair and walked swiftly over to April. He kneeled in front of her and stared deep into her eyes, for a moment.
"I believe you." Master Splinter said.
"Is this another lesson Master Splinter? How to sense the truth?" Leo said coming up behind Master Splinter.
"No, this is called trusting your gut." Master Splinter said being serious. But I couldn't help but chuckle. Leo always took things too seriously.
"So if I'm keeping your secret what exactly is it? Who are you people? Uh I mean turtles, uh whatever." She asked.
Master Splinter then told her the guy's story. How when they were just ordinary turtles until an ooze caused them to transform, into what they are now, and how Master Splinter took care of us and taught us ninjutsu.
"From a battered book, of renaissance artists I fished out of the storm drain, I chose names for each of them. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, and together they are…" Master Splinter was caught off.
"Turtles Forever!" The guys shouted, high fiving each other. I laughed at there corny joke.
"Or something like that, that we all yell at once." Mikey said being funny.
"First rule, Ignore Mikey. Your life will be much easier." Raph said sitting on the couch.
"So we have remanded in secret and that is our story." Master Splinter said finishing the story.
"But how did you know martial arts and how did Kim get here?" April asked. I felt a sharp pain shoot through my stomach as I remembered my dreams. The guys all looked at me, as if they sensed my pain.
"Those stories are for another time." Master Splinter said sternly, trying to get off the subject.
"Hey guys look at this!" Mikey called, he was staring at the TV and it had the news channel on. I was glad for the distraction and went over to stand by him.
"And the police are completely baffled by this daring bank robbery, boldly executed in broad daylight." The news droned on. Then it showed a picture of a huge hole in the middle of the bank's floor.
"If anyone has any information the police urge you to call the crime stoppers hotline." The news lady said.
"So anybody want to take a wild guess what did this?" Mikey said. Then a picture showed up on the screen, weirdly shaped of tracks.
"Mousers." I said coldly.
"This must be what I heard Dr. Stockman talking about! He's got the mousers robbing banks!" April said standing in front of the TV.
"What do you know about this Stockman guy?" Raph said interested.
"He's a genius. He's also nuts! I use to work for him. When I got suspicious he turned them on me! Luckily I ran into you guys." April said.
"He destroyed our old lair." Leo said accusingly. I clenched my fists together.
He destroyed our home, everything that we knew! I thought.
I breathed in deeply, trying to calm down.
Man I'm getting as bad as Raph.
"Must have been one of his mousers 'test runs'" April said.
"But that was our home." Mikey said.
"Now he's graduated to banks!" Don said.
"Then what are we waiting for!" Raph said getting off the couch,
"I say we shut down mouser central...permanently." Raph said.
"Ahh! I just love those action movie lines! Do you write those yourself?" Mikey asked.
"Is there anyway to get inside?" I asked April.
"It won't be easy. Stocktronics is rigged with the latest up to the minute security tech." April said, trying to figure out what to do.
"Bring it on! Allow me to introduce you to our very own secret weapons. The Techno geeks themselves, Kim and Dooonnatteelllo! Take a bow guys!" Mikey said. I punched Mikey in the arm.
"Ow!" Mikey said rubbing his arm.
"Cut it out." Donatello said blushing a little.
"Can we go, please!?" Raph said literally shaking with energy. I laughed.
"Wow that's probably the first time I ever heard you actually say, please!" I said sarcastically.
April explained to us that the easiest way to get into Stocktronics is through the sewers. We took the vehicle that we 'borrowed' from the purple dragons, heading to Stocktronics. Almost three blocks until Stocktronics, we decided that it was probably best to take the sewer the rest of the way there. We hide the car in an alley and got into the nearest manhole. April lead the way through the twist and turns of the sewers. Suddenly, April put up her hand to tell us to stop. She pointed at something ahead. It was an alarm. Donatello took apart the alarm so he could get inside to work on the wires.
"Alarms in the sewers? Man is this guy paranoid or what?" Mikey said.
"Will you shut it?" Raph said annoyed.
"I'm just saying!" Mikey said with a shrug.
"Could April and I have some quiet? This is delicate work!" Donatello said a little annoyed.
"Ohhh April and I! This is delicate work! Give me a break." Mikey said mimicking Don.
"If we die, I'm blaming Mikey." I said rubbing my forehead.
"Ok we got it! Keep an eye out for anymore alarms guys." Donatello said. We continued down the tunnel, until finally we got to a door that lead up to the Stocktronics building. We got to the first floor of the building and Raph went over to a wall and pulled off the vent so we could crawl in the ventilation shaft, and not get caught by the guards.
"Ladies first." He said to April and I. We crawled into the vents and the guys followed quickly behind us. We crawled down the ventilation shaft when suddenly Mikey slammed into the side of the vent when he crawled around the corner making the whole place shack.
"Geeze Mikey could you be any louder!" I whispered.
"Bone head." Raph said.
We continued down the vent until we got to a dead end. I crawled up beside April. Then two guards passed the vent, but didn't notice we were there.
"Is this it?" I asked looking through the vent.
"There's a computer terminal in that lab. Get me in, and I can create blank spots in the security system. To get you through, to Stockman's main lab." She said pointing across the hall to a door that said 'Lab A'.
"Don't look now, we already got a blank spot right here." Raph said behind me indicating to Mikey.
"Hey!" Mikey said looking hurt. I pushed open the vent and jumped out, with Raph close behind me. I kept a look out for anymore guards when Raph helped April out of the vent. I went over to the lab door to open it but it was locked.
"I got it." Raph said behind me. I got out of his way as he took out his Sai and started to pick the lock. Soon the door was open and we got inside. All the guys checked to see if anyone was in the lab, but it was all clear. April ran over to the computer console and started typing into the computer.
"Ok I'm in. I'm blanking the cameras along that corridor at ten second intervals, so you gotta keep moving!" April said turning back to the computer. We were already heading out the door when she finished. I heard Leo say,
"We'll be right back." And we sprinted down the hallway.
1...2...3...4...5... I counted in my head, timing each of the cameras.
We finally got to the end of the hallway were a big door opened up to let us in the main lab. The guys got out there weapons and I strung up my bow.
"This is too quiet." Leo said. I had the same feeling, the voice in my head was screaming at me to run, but I stood my ground.
"Guys my turtle sense is tingling!" Mikey said. Suddenly the door behind us swooshed shut and we were trapped in.
"Crap!" I said. Then someone's voice came over the intercom.
"Intruders!" The voice boomed. "Here to steal my secrets! You'll leave here with nothing! Not even your lives." I saw that there was a man in the observation room above us. I recognized him as Baxter Stockman, looking exactly as he did on TV.
"What on earth are you?" We heard him say puzzled. "I guess I'll have to dissect you to find out!" Then suddenly three, huge, robotic arms came down from the ceiling and started to shoot lasers at us! I'm not kidding, actual lasers. All three of the robotic arms shot exactly where we were standing. But we were to fast for them we all jumped in different directions to dodge the lasers. One of the huge arms followed me and continued to fire at me. I quickly dodged it again and dived behind a pillar, which gave me enough time to load my arrow. I somersaulted out from behind the pillar and shot at the arm. It hit right into the barrel of the gun, causing the gun to fizz with sparks and start to swing around crazily. Not sooner then I destroyed one another started to fire at me. I ran trying to avoid it, then it started to change it's course and follow Raph! Leo came out from behind a pillar.
"Raph watch out!" Leo used his swords and deflected a laser from hitting Raph. That caused the laser to shot back at the arm destroying it. Then I saw Don vault onto a robot arm and use the arm to destroy the other arms.
"Ya!" The guys said in triumph. Don then pulled out the wires on the arm he was on and jumped off. Seconds later it exploded. We all then started to run to the observation deck were Stockman was. Then another robotic arm came out of nowhere and started shooting at us. I was being controlled by Stockman himself. Raph was able to dodge the lasers and get close to the observation deck.
"Mikey slingshot!" Raph called out. Mikey ran straight for Raph dodging the lasers. Raph cupped his hands and Mikey jumped. At the last second Mikey jumped on Raphs hands and Raph swung him up to the observation deck. Mikey landed on the window and used his nun chuck to break the glass. We all followed suit and jumped up to the observation deck.
"Your rain of terror is over Stockman." Leo said pointing his sword at Stockman.
"Have you been practicing?" Mikey asked.
"Do you like it?" Leo asked giving Mikey a small smile.
"What are you?" Stockman asked in shock. Then April came in on the elevator.
"There with me!" April said. Stockman turned around, surprised.
"April you're alive!" He said sounding even more surprised.
""And kicking!" She said walking over to Stockman who started to crawl to a chair by the console.
"I've got enough evidence to put you away for years, Dr. Stockman!" April said. He started to move his hand towards the keyboard.
"Stop him!" I shouted but it was too late he already pressed a button on the keyboard.
"That's enough!" Raph said grabbing Stockman by the scruff of his shirt.
"Ha! To late! I recalled the mouser hoard from their latest mission. They'll be here any second. They'll tear you to pieces!" Stockman said.
Ok it's official. This guy is nuts. I thought.
"April!" Leo said hoping she had a idea how to stop the mosers.
"I'll have to shut the whole system down!" She said moving to the keyboard.
"I'll help." Donatello said taking his side by April.
"You're doomed! Listen!" Stockman said. Then a door to the lab opened and hundreds of mousers came in stomping their way noisily to the observation deck.
"April now's the time!" Leo said looking at all the mousers trying to get up the ladder.
"The system isn't responding!" April said still typing frantically at the keyboard. Then Don started to take over. The mousers started to make there way up the ladder. I stood by the door and started to shoot at the mousers, making them fall on top of each other.
"Is there a plan B?" I asked.
"You should have never matched wits with me!" A voice said. I turned around and Stockman was in the elevator and the doors closed behind him.
"He's getting away!" Mikey said running towards the doors but it was too late. Baxter Stockman had escaped.
"Let him go, we got bigger problems!" I said and I shoot at a mouser that was getting to close for comfort. The mousers were too much and started to get in through the windows. I shot a mouser from the ladder, but didn't notice one come through the window. It jumped at my and I barely dodged it. The mousers cornered us by the controls.
"Well, at least we'll go out fighting." Raph said.
"Actually, I don't want to go out at all!" Mikey said kicking a mouser away.
"It's not working!" April said typing furiously at the keyboard.
"Keep trying!" Don said.
"This is it, it's been fun guys!" Raph said
"Even me Raph!" Mikey asked.
"Even you Mikey, specially you." Raph said giving Mikey a little grin. Raph looked at me for a second and I gave him a small smile. I ready myself for anything, ready to fight for my life. I was about to charge at the huge herd of mousers when suddenly, they stopped. The guys looked as confused as I was. Leo took his sword and tapped a mouser a few times, seeing if it would move, but it was still as a statue.
"Ya! Alright!" The guys said hooting and hollering. But I was still confused the lights were blinking and it looked like they were still on.
"Good job April! I've never seen anything like that!" Don said.
"April, what exactly did you do?" I asked concerned.
"Uh, well, I wasn't able to shut them down, so the only way I could stop them was by initiating an overload sequence!" April said. Suddenly the mousers started to blink red lights and beep furiously.
"Ok not good!" I said.
"Let's get out of here!" Mikey said running for the window. I ran for the window close behind him and we jumped out. I hit the floor and almost twisted my ankle but kept running. We waited for April and Donny to get down and we ran for the door that lead out to the sewer. I looked behind me and the whole observation deck exploded causing the whole place to catch on fire. We all jumped through the door and Don quickly pushed the button to close the door.
"Man I never ran that fast in my life!" I said trying to catch my breath. My hair was all messy and I had some cuts here or there but other then that, I was fine.
"Everyone here? Nobody hurt?" Leo asked looking checking to see if everyone made it.
"Where fine Leo." Raph said rolling his eyes.
"We better get going, I don't know how long these tunnels are going to last with the burning building on top of them." Don said. So we all made are way down the tunnel.
We finally got home and we all sat around the couch listening to the news.
"And the authorities are completely perplexed by the destruction of the Stocktronics building and the sudden disappearance of Doctor Stockman." The news lady said.
"What will you do now, Miss O'Neil? You are most definitely out of a job." Master Splinter pointed out.
"I'm not exactly sure." April said thoughtfully.
"We'll help you get back on your feet." Don said to April. I smiled at Don. I could definitely see those two together. Both of them love science and April is awesome in missions. What more could a mutated ninja turtle want?
"You guys, you've all been, well great! And by guys, I guess I mean four big talking turtles, a teenage girl, and a giant talking rat." April said.
"Here's to the new team!" Leo said holding up his tea. We all clinked our glasses together and whooped and hollered. I laughed, we all looked so corny. We all finished our tea and headed off to bed. I closed the door behind me and sigh. I was so exhausted and I couldn't stop thinking about Baxter Stockman. Where did he go? Why was he trying to gather that much money? Will we ever run into him again? All these questions made my head hurt. So I just changed into my PJ's and went to bed. All that stuff can wait till morning.
