SO1E05- Nano
Hi! I'm back! And you all probably hate me, but there this thing called Netflix that I have been on a lot lately sooo ya, I try to write when I can. Also just got done with school stuff, musicals, all-state blah, blah, blah you know, reality stuff, so hopefully I'll write more. Also reviews would be greatly appreciated! They boost up my motivation to write! That's it! Enjoy!
It's been three weeks since we moved into the lair, and my room already looks like a tornado has been through it. I slept in because me and Mikey had a video game marathon that lasted till 3 in the morning. Mikey won of course. It was yet another dreamless night and I was glad for it. I wasn't in the mood to get up so I just laid on my bed staring at the wall. But it wasn't long until someone came knocking on my door.
"Yes?" I said slightly annoyed.
"Kim, it's one in da afternoon! Are you ever going to get up?" said Raphael as he came in.
"Raph, you better have a good reason of waking me up." I said.
"Were gonna go over to April's later to help her with her new antique shop."
"All right I'll be there in a minute." I said. Raphael headed out of my room and closed the door. I got up, still groggy with the lack of sleep and changed into some clothes. I put on a purple t-shirt with dark blue jeans, and I quickly braided my hair, going with something new. I grabbed my bow that hanged on the wall and quickly left my room. I went down the set of stairs and went toward the kitchen. Mickey was combing through the cupboards, probably looking for snacks.
"Hey Mikey." I said. Mikey looked up.
"Hey Kim. Man, you look exhausted." He said.
"Ya, that video game marathon didn't help." I said opening a cupboard grabbing a pop tart.
"Well, I'm grabbing some snacks, because April probably won't have enough. The guys are in the garage waiting. We better get going." He said quickly grabbing a bag of chips. "Here take these and let's go!" Mikey said handing me a huge pile of snacks. We got into the elevator and went up to the garage. I threw the huge pile into the back of the truck.
"Geez, Mikey got enough food?" Raph said sarcastically.
"Mikey, were only going to be there for a few hours." Leo said.
"I know, but you can never have too much food." Mikey said opening a bag of chips. As soon as I got into the truck we headed out of the garage. I ate my pop tart in one bite and was still hungry. I looked out the window and saw a motorcycle turn onto the street.
"Hey it's Casey." I said pointing out the window.
"Ya Casey is comin' to help." Raph said. Fifteen minutes later we pulled into the alley behind April's shop. We all got out and headed toward the back door. I was the first to get to the door so I rang the doorbell. It wasn't to long until April opened the door.
"Hey April!" Mikey said behind me, "Green brothers moving incorporated reporting for duty!"
"Hey guys." April said with a smile. "Thanks for coming, I need all the help I can get. Mikey you could start by moving those big boxes." She said pointing at a big pile of boxes. I stepped into the shop and stood by April.
"Just let me put on my hernia truss!" Mikey said walking by April.
"Right over there wise guy." April said. Then Donny came in with a huge bag of tools.
"Plus, I got a heater that won't heat!" She said.
"Hence these!" Don said showing her the new parts he got for the heater.
"You two, that whole wall of antiques needs moving, carefully." She said to Raph and Leo. She was giving orders as if she was a drill sergeant.
"Hey I'm a ninja! Not a-"
"Your wish," Leo said cutting off Raph "Is our command." Leo then started pushing Raph through the doorway. "Kim, you can help me clean some antiques." Then Casey came in. April turned around and looked shocked at him.
"You're not a turtle." April said sort of dreamily.
"Uhh, definitely not." Casey said, sounding just as dazed. They stood there for a moment looking at each other. I stood by April awkwardly and coughed, making them snap out of there daze.
"Hope you don't mind, we brought along a friend." I said.
"Uhh yo, I'm Casey, Casey Jones." He said sort of waving dumbly at her. "Hey, uh nice junk." He said going into the antique shop.
"It was my dads. I mean the shop! I'm reopening it." April said stumbling over her words. "For now, until I figure out what to do with myself. My last job ended kind of...weirdly" April continued.
"Ohh, I get it. While you're waiting for a real job to come along, you're just just hiding out in your pops junk shop. It's cool." Casey said. I rolled my eye's. Casey is definitely bad at first impressions.
"It's an antique shop." April said looking annoyed. "And I'm not hiding from anything!" She said pointing a finger at him.
"Hey, whatever babe." Casey said walking away.
"Babe?!" April said even more annoyed, but she couldn't stop from flushing. Casey walked over to Raph who was trying to move a cabinet full of old dishes.
"Hey Raph, that's a two man job." Casey said taking the other side of the cabinet. Even with both Raph and Casey hauling the cabinet they still struggled.
"Guys. Guys, careful!" April said walking over to them, looking scared for her dishes. "That's very rare-" April was cut off by the falling china plates that fell out of the cabinet "Antique china." April finished.
"Hey relax," Casey said trying to calm April down, "We'll clean it up."
April groaned and stomped away. I followed her to a box of antiques that hadn't been cleaned yet.
"Ugh! He is so annoying!" She said frustrated, digging through the pile of antiques.
"He means, well. He just doesn't use his head sometimes." I said rolling my eyes, yet again.
"Obviously." April mutters. "Here, can you start dusting these antiques? We have a few more boxes to do." April says handing me a cloth. We both sit down on the floor and start dusting.
"So, how did you guys meet Casey anyway?" April asked, as she dusted an old vase.
"It's a long story." I said, dusting off a small figure of an elephant.
"Well, we definitely have time." She says indicating to the boxes.
So I told her what happen between Raph and Mikey, and how Raph went topside to cool off. When Raph and Casey had a fight and how Raph felt it was his duty to help him. I told her of the fight with the purple dragons and the new awesome vehicles we made.
"Wow. Casey sounds a lot like Raph." April says with a grin.
"Ya just what we needed another Raph." I said sarcastically.
A few hours later everything was dusted, boxes where moved, and the heater was fixed.
"Looks like everything is in the right spot. Thanks again guys." April said.
"No problem April, were just glad that you're getting back on your feet." Donatello said, putting a hand on her shoulder.
We all got into the battleshell and Casey drove away on his motorcycle. The past few days has been nice, but knowing us, it wouldn't last for long.
The next day we all sat in the lair watching the TV. Mikey was whining that he wanted to play one of his new video games, but Raph wanted to catch the end of the WWE championship. Suddenly, the phone in the kitchen rang.
"I'll get it." I said, taking my chance to get away from all the arguing. Donatello installed a new phone that only April and Casey had the number to, in case for emergencies.
"Hello?" I said, picking up the phone.
"Kim, it's me April." April said through the phone.
"Hey, April what's up?"
"I was wondering if you guys can come over and help me watch the shop tonight?"
"Why, what's wrong?" I asked worried.
"Nothing's wrong, it's just I'm a little nervous about these robberies, the jewelry store that was robbed was right on my block."
"Alright April, we'll be over in a little bit. Bye."
"Bye, Kim" Then I hung up the phone.
"Who was that?" A voice asked. Leo had come into the kitchen.
"It was April, she wants us to come help watch the shop tonight, she's kinda worried about all these robberies that's been happening." I said.
"Alright, I'll get the guys. You go up and get the battleshell started." Leo said already heading out of the kitchen.
Soon all the guys were in the battleshell and we drove to April's.
"I think I'm gonna call, Casey. He probably has nothing better to do." Raph said with a grin.
When we got to April's shop, we headed to the back door and knocked.
"Hey April!" I said as she opened the door.
"Hey guys. The apartment is up these stairs." She said letting us in, and leading us up a set of stairs. It was the first time we ever got to see her apartment. As we entered, I kinda got an at home feeling. The walls were a light yellow and the living room had a big red couch, and a blue lazy boy. The kitchen was just past the living room and down the hall was a bathroom and a bedroom.
"This place is so cool April." I said as I flopped onto the couch.
"Thanks." April says closing the door behind Mikey. "And thanks again for coming. I guess I'm just a little bit worried."
"Don't worry April, we got ya covered." Raph said putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"I feel so much better having you guys here." April said with a small smile. Raph went to the window and gave Casey a thumbs up, who was now standing on the roof across the street. April went to go get ready for bed and the guy's and I went over to the movie case to figure out what to watch.
"How about Godzilla!" Mikey says grabbing the movie case.
"Mikey we watched that thousands of times! How bout 'Nightmare on Elm street'?" Raph asked pointing at the case.
"What about 'The Fog of war'? This looks pretty interesting." Donatello said looking at the back of the movie.
As the guy's were looking at the movies April came back in the living room.
"Hey guy's I'm going to bed. If you guy's want to order some pizza some money is on the counter." April said.
"Thanks April. Goodnight." I said.
"Goodnight guys." Then April went off to bed. I went into the kitchen to order the pizza.
"What do you guys want?" I asked, before dialing the number.
"Oh! Two Cheese, Two pepperoni, and one with pineapple! Ok that's what I want, what do you guys want?" Mikey asked.
"How about just two large cheese pizzas?" I said trying to simplify the order.
"Ya, that works." Leo said. So I started to dial the number. After I ordered the pizza, I went back into the living room to find Raphael and Mikey playing rock, paper, scissors.
"Paper beats Rock! Godzilla it is!" Micky said putting in the movie. Raph groaned and flopped onto a bean bag next to me. Fifteen minutes into the movie the doorbell rang.
"Pizza!" Mikey said.
"I'll get it." I said getting up and grabbing the money from the kitchen counter. I ran down the stairs, with the guys right behind me. I went to the door, while the guys stayed on the stairs waiting for the pizza, the lights were off so the pizza guy wouldn't be able to see them.
"Hey, did you get two large cheese pizzas?" The boy asked. He looked to be around my age, and he had dark brown hair that covered his green eyes. He was slim but decently built and as you can probably tell, I thought he was kinda cute.
"Ya, thanks." I said holding out the money. He took the money and handed over the pizzas.
"You gonna eat all that yourself?" The boy asked with a grin. I blushed a little.
"No, I have my brothers helping me." I said. The boy started digging in his pocket.
"Oh ok, Well here's your change." The boy said handing me the money. "See ya" Then the boy walked down the stairs. I closed the door behind him and walked toward the stairs.
"Awesome! Pizza time!" Mikey said grabbing the pizzas. But before we could head up the stairs someone rung the doorbell again.
"What now?" Raph asked, a little irritated. I went back to the door and opened it. It was the boy again.
"Sorry, but I forgot to give you your receipt." The boy said, holding out the piece of paper.
"Thanks. See ya."
"See ya." The boy said, and walked back down the stairs. I closed the doors and went to the stairs were the guys still waited.
"What did he want?" Donny asked.
"He just wanted to give me the receipt." I said, putting the receipt on the box.
"Alright, let's go eat!" Mikey said running up the stairs. We all went into the kitchen and opened up the box.
"Uhh, Kim. What's this?" Leo asked, while I was grabbing my pizza. It was the receipt, but on the back of it, it said 'Call me' with a cell phone number and the name 'Nick'. All the guys looked up and saw the receipt.
"Umm, I guess it's the pizza guy's phone number." I said dumbly.
"Ya I can see that." Leo said, frowning.
"Here, let me take care of that for ya." Raph said. He grab the piece, crumpled it up, and threw it in the trash can.
"Raph! What the hell!" I said and walked over to the trash can. I carefully reached in and took the paper back out.
"You're not going to call him, are you?!" Mikey asked.
"No...Maybe... I don't know." I said, turning red a bit. All the guys started talking at once.
"Kim has a boyfriend!"
"Kim, I don't think that's a very wise idea."
"Really? The pizza guy?!"
"It's really none of your guy's business is it! So just drop it ok!" I shouted over the guy's, putting the paper in my pocket. I grabbed my pizza and marched into the living room.
It wasn't until a few minutes later that the guy's came back into the living room and we continued with the movie. As we watched the movie I could feel all there eye's on me, as if they were waiting for me to burst again, but as the movie went on the guy's started to fall asleep.
It was around 9:00, I was about half way through the movie, and I couldn't fall asleep. I was too angry to sleep. I knew the guy's were just trying to protect me, but that doesn't mean they can order me around, telling me what to do with my life. Suddenly I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard something outside. I got up and went to the window, just in time to see a huge robotic monster hitting Casey into the alley.
"Holy crap!" I said, in shock.
"Wh-? What?" I had woken up Leo.
"Leo!" I whisper shouted, "Get the guy's up! Somethings happening outside!"
Leo tapped Mikey.
"Can I have another s'more?" Mikey asked in his sleep "Wh-?"
Leo indicated to Mikey to be quiet
"Shoo, noise. Downstairs." Leo said. Soon the other guy's were up to. I grabbed my bow and we all headed to the hallway. We opened a window that was close to an electrical wire that lead down to the street. Mikey gave me one of his nunchucks and let me ride down first. As soon as I was out the window, Mikey was right behind me. We got off the wire and the guys were close behind us.
"Ok, what is that?!" Leo asked. It was a huge robotic monster, that looked like it was built from spare parts. It also had some sort of face masks. The faces spun on a wheel, until it stopped on one that looked like it was mad at us.
"Donny?" Leo asked, looking for any type of answer.
"Uhh, insufficient data boss." Don said, not knowing what to make of the monster, either.
"Ahh! This can't be happening!" A man with a plaid jacket and brown hat, ran around the robot and hid behind it. He also carried a duffel bag. "Aliens! Just when finally things are going my way, they invade! Don't let them get me kid!"
"What the heck is he talking about?" I asked turning to the guys.
"I don't know but that things mad! Look out!" Mikey said. The robot tried hitting us, but we all jumped out of the way in time. Raph jumped at it first, hitting at it's legs with his sais. But it didn't seem to have an affect. Mikey jumped on the robot, but just got swatted away. I grab one of my special arrows and put it in the bow. I pulled back and fired at the robot. A huge net blasted out of the arrow and covered the robot. But the robot just teared through the net and threw it aside. The robot turned around and tried to hit Leo, but Leo quickly slide underneath the robot, just as Donatello came up behind it and started to burn the robot with a blowtorch. The robot screamed in agony and turned to hit Don. Don flew back and hit the wall.
"Don't let them aliens get ya kid! Knock them flat!" The man said.
"What do you know about this!?" Leo demanded, walking up to the man.
"Help! Kid!" The man said as we surrounded him.
"Daddy!" The huge robot said. It picked us up from behind and threw us off to the side, hitting the wall. My back slammed into the wall and I dropped to the ground. The robot then picked up the man and ran off with him. I got up with a groan.
"Times like this really makes me wish I had a shell." I said. Then April came out.
"What was that thing?" April asked. Then there was a groan. Casey was just now getting up.
"Casey! Oh no!" April said running over to him. She helped him up, and pushed up his mask to feel his head.
"So uhh, did I win?" Casey asked with a small grin. Then I saw something on the ground.
"What's this?" I asked kneeling by it. Then Don came over and picked it up.
"Whatever it is, it's moving!" Don said. I took a closer look at what Don had in his hand. It was a piece of metal and it was moving slightly in his hand.
"Alright, that's just weird." Raph said.
We got Casey inside and patched him up, while they did that me and Donny were trying to figure out why the piece of metal was able to move.
"Here, I found the microscope." I said, handing the microscope to Don.
"Thanks, Kim." He said and put the glowing piece of metal under the microscope. "Woah, definitely stuff you don't see everyday."
"What did you find?" Mikey asked.
"Take a look." Don said letting Mikey see. Mikey leaned down to look into the microscope.
"Eww what are they?" Mikey asked backing away, I quickly took his spot and looked into the microscope. There was what looked like little tiny bugs, but you could tell they were robots.
"Nanobots. Microscopic robots all working together." Donny explained.
"Are they dangerous?" Raph asks. Don thought for a moment.
"They're moving randomly. Probably when they were cut off from the main group they became mindless. Unmotivated."
"Ohh! Like when Raph goes solo! He becomes mindless! Unmotivated!" Mikey says poking Raph in the face. Raph swatted at Mikey's hand.
"Umm, I don't know about you guys but did that thing seem...sort of lost?" I said trying to figure out how to describe the monster.
"Ya, like...like a little kid." Mikey said. Don looked down in the microscope.
"Uh oh," He said moving the dials, "it's reproducing itself, and if each Nanobot makes a copy of itself, and the copies make copies, this thing could really become unstoppable."
"Then we stop it now." Leo said, determined. "Is there anyway of tracing this thing?"
"The Nanobots have a unique power signature. Couldn't the tracker in the battleshell, follow it?" I suggested.
"Yes, that should work!" Donny confirmed.
"And what do we do when we find robo-boy?" Mikey asks.
"Well, as much as it pains me to destroy such amazing technology," Don picked up a near by blow torch and started to melt the Nano bots on fire. "it does seem to be susceptible to extreme heat."
"So what are we waiting for?" Raph asks.
"Let me just get my golf ba-OUCH!" Casey says trying to get off of the couch, but his side hurt way too much to let him move. April crossed her arms.
"You aren't going anywhere mister," She kneels beside Casey, "You wait right here until I get more bandages."
April gets up and heads to the bathroom to look for the bandages. Raph walks over to Casey and kneels by him.
"You wouldn't be milking this boo-boo thing, would ya Cas?" Raph asks with a grin.
"Hey, show a little concern shell for brains."
"You owe us one, Cas." Raph says, heading out the door.
"Don't get too friendly, 'kay Cas?" I say winking, and followed Raph out of the shop. We got into the battle shell and started to head down the street. We went over the plan for when we run into the Nanorobot, we even came up with a back up plan, then Don typed on the tracker and got the tracker to pick up the Nanobots unique signature, he had me watch it, so I could tell him where to go.
"Take a left." I said. Don quickly turned to the left, causing everything to slide. "We should be almost there. It says on the tracker, that Nanobot monster is in that garbage dump." I said pointing ahead.
"Everyone, hold on!" Don said. Then we bursted through the gates of the garbage dump. We drove in a ways, and finally stopped. We all hopped out, and started to look around for the monster.
"Look at all this stolen stuff." Leo says. He was right, there where piles of TVs, boxes of new gadgets, and other brand new things.
"Where is that thing?" Don said, irritated. "The locater says it should be right here."
"I know it's been used before guys, but I'm getting a baaaad feeling about this." Mikey says. Suddenly, there a huge noise behind us. We turn around and to see the Nanobot charging right for us. We all jump out of it's way, so we wouldn't get crushed.
"You just had to say that, didn't you Mikey!" I said. Suddenly the Nanobot screamed at us and stretched out it's arms to near by junk piles. You could see the Nanobots circling it's arms and it started adding the stolen things into it's body, making it even bigger than it already was.
"And now I'm getting an even badder feeling about this! Anyone wanna tell me how we are going to do this?" Mikey asks, as we back away from the huge machine. I pulled out my bow and loaded it with one of my arrows.
"Like we always do together," Leo says, taking a stance. "hit it so fast that it won't have a chance to rebuild itself. Now!"
We all charged at the Nanobot. I fired at arrow at the things face, which was a TV screen, but it blocked my arrow with it's hand. Raph was stabbing at it's feet, Micky tried to hit it's side with his nunchucks, Don sliced through it's shoulder with his staff, and Leo cut off his hand with his katanas. While it was distracted with it's injured hand, I loaded my bow with one of my explosive arrows.
"Get back guys!" I called, before I let the arrow fly into the side of the machine. The guys jumped back and suddenly, the arrow exploded, causing the machine to lose his leg as well. The Nanobot toppled over, we backed off thinking it was defeated, but it reached out it's hand to one of the near by junk piles and started to rebuild itself.
"This isn't working." I said. Suddenly the monster got up and grabbed Mikey.
"Mikey!" Leo called. Mikey screamed, as the monster dangled him by the leg.
"Not good!" Mikey said, before the monster started to spin him around.
"I'm coming Mikey!" Don says, running at the machine with his blowtorch.
"Make it quick! I'm going to hurl! Literally!" Mikey said, still getting spun by the Nanobot. Don tried to jump on the Nanobot, but it swatted him out of the air like a fly. I cringed.
"That's gotta, hurt." I ran over to Don, who was lying on the ground. "You okay?"
"That thing is fast!" Don said, holding his head.
"That's not a good thing Don!" Mikey said, still in the Nanobots clutches. Then Mikey was hurled at a nearby garbage pile, making a huge crunch, and toppled down to the ground.
"Guy's, this isn't working!" I said again.
"Plan B?" Mikey asks.
"Plan B!" Leo confirmed, and we all run back to the battle shell. I was the last one in and I slammed the door quickly. Mikey got in the drivers seat, and started the truck and drove off at top speed. The Nanobot tried to hit us, but he just barely missed as we sped off. But the robot wasn't going to give up, it started to chase after us.
"Drive Mikey! Drive!" I screamed. Suddenly the Nanobot caught up to us and grabbed the battle shell and stopped us right in our tracks. There was a huge smack against the side of the truck which made us all fall over. The Nanobot was punching the sides of the battle shell.
"Faster Mikey! It's taking us apart!" Don said.
"I'm givin' her all she's got, captain!" Mikey says, mimicking a sailor. "She cannot take no more!"
"Raph, Kim, you're on, shell cycle time." Leo says.
"Sure, we always have to do the crazy stuff." Raph says, sarcastically as he throws on his helmet.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." I say with a grin, and started up my white shell cycle.
"Keep it busy, until we are in position!" Leo calls, before me and Raph both ride the shell cycles out the back of the truck. We sped past the Nanobot on our bikes, then circled around him to grab his attention. The Nanobot screeched at us and started to chase us. We lead it over to the machine that crushed garbage, and managed to get the Nanobot to stand right in front of it. Suddenly I heard the battle shell driving at high speed towards the Nanobot.
"NO! Look out kid!" I heard a voice call. I turned around and saw it was that guy that tried to rob April's shop. The battle shell then ran into the Nanobot, he didn't fall right away, but when Mikey pressed the gas pedal even harder, the Nanobot fell into the machine. The machine immediately started to crush and smash the robot. The robot screamed but it eventually the Nanobot stopped when the, machine crushed the Nanobot into a cube.
"Ouch, looks like that did it." Raph said, still on his bike.
"Ya, he's flat broke." Mikey said. But then the Nanobot started to swarm around the broken machine and started to repair itself. "You know, I'm going to stop with the puns. Seriously, they always come back to bite you!"
"Ah crud!" I said, and we all speed off as the Nanobot climbed out of the crushing machine. Looking back I see Don, jump out of the back of the battle shell.
"Where's Don going?" I wonder.
"Leo, tell me you got a plan C! I'm really hoping you have a plan C!" Raph said, using his helmet to talk to Leo.
"God, I hope Leo knows what he's doing." I mumbled, as the Nanobot started to catch up to us.
"Uh, fellas? Plan C! NOW!" Raph said, frantically. Raph was about to get squashed by the Nanobot, when something seemed to have stopped it. I looked up and saw Don was in a crane with a giant magnet attached to it. He carried the Nanobot on the magnet. I turned my bike around and went towards the crane.
"No, kid! Are you alright?" I turned and it was that guy again. The Nanobot screeched, trying to get off the magnet.
"Hang on kid! Daddys coming!" The guy called out, then ran towards the crane.
"Daddy? What?" I said, confused. I drove my bike after the guy. But the guy got to the crane and was about to pull the switch to release the Nanobot, but I suddenly realized the Nanobot, was over a vat of boiling lava, which melts the garbage.
"Wait, stop!" I called out. I knew that thing was dangerous, but somehow he was just like a kid, and I had to help him. But it was too late. The man pulled the lever, which turned the whole crane off. The robot fell from the magnet, and screeched as it fell into the lava.
"No! NO!" The man called, and ran toward the pit. The Nanobots hand reached out of the lava, trying to get out, but it was already melting too fast.
"Da...ddy!" It called out, but slipped further into the lava. The machine started to close, sealing the Nanobot inside, forever. The man saw a piece, of the robot, one of the masks it wore, on the ground and picked it up.
"I can't believe you're gone," He said, sirens could be heard in the distance. "My one lucky break! And I broke ya."
It was kinda sad, the robot was just like a kid, but the guy he was with was a greedy man, and used the Nanobot for his own purposes, making the robot seem evil. But, it seemed like the only thing the robot wanted was a family.
Suddenly the battle shell rode up beside me.
"Come on Kim! The boy's in blue are coming!" Mikey says, opening the back door for me. I look back at the man one more time, and climb into the battle shell.
"You know, I kinda feel bad for the little bot." Mikey confess, as we drove the way home.
"Little?" Raph says, confused.
"You know, he was kinda like a little kid." Mikey said, trying to explain. I nodded, agreeing with him.
"To bad he had such a rotten parent." Don said.
"It only wanted a family." I said. We pulled up to an alley, and stopped by the back door of Aprils shop.
"I'm just glad the fighting is over." Leo said, getting out of the car. We all got out and headed inside the shop, but when we got inside, Casey and April were yelling at each other.
"Take care of me? I only got hurt because I was saving you!" Casey said.
"Oh, so you think I need saving? Is that it!?" April shot back.
"You twist around everything I say! Agh, woman!"
"Why of all the myopic misogynistic-!"
"Geez! How can we even talk if you won't even speak English!" Casey says. In his frustration, he accidentally knocks over a vase.
"I told you to watch the antiques! YOU BIG APE!" April says.
"Man, when I said don't be too friendly, it didn't mean not to be friendly at all." I said.
"I think they want to be alone." Mikey says. Everyone agreed, so using our ninja skills, we sneaked past April and Casey, and up the stairs to April's apartment. We all went to the living room and took our spots we had before. I grabbed a blanket from the couch, and sat on a beanbag chair. Leo took the arm chair to my left, Don took the lazy boy, Mikey took the couch, and Raph took the other beanbag to my right.
"Night guys, don't let the Nano bugs bite!" Mikey says.
"Shut up, Mikey." We all said. Soon, all the guys were asleep, but yet again, I couldn't sleep. I couldn't stop thinking.
Just these past weeks we went topside, got a new home, and made two new friends. But we also, had a bunch of challenges. We fought little robots, ninjas, and big robots. What other challenges could we face in the future?
