Tis a dark day, the day I fell so hard
Breaking rules, bending laws, that was our path
But they left me, left to fall alone
Alone with dark creatures, with the spiders
It transformed me to paths I can't fathom
Poison in my tubes, Venom in my veins
Organs and tanks, optics and eyes, too much
Too much for bearing this lonely burden
I touched the darkness, looked it in the eye
Here, now a mirror, a look in the darkness
The shadowing darkness that I am now
Freak, monster, horror, making them all fear
If one gazes into the abyss
Take special care not to be a monster
For sometimes, our greatest fear is the mirror
Or, rather, what it shows to everyone
Organic freak? Or too mechanical?
