So I feel kind of guilty about begging for reviews as I got such lovely responses, you guys are so lovely!

Thank you: RavenBowie, Baffledcarcajou1 and Aurora BoreAlice – you guys are awesome :)

Vlad exited the teachers' lounge with a vicious scowl. He hadn't eaten the councillor but boy, he'd wanted to. The whole damn session was just nosy questions he didn't want to answer reminding him just how garlic his life was. Vlad are you okay that your girlfriend ran off with your half-brother after trying to kill you? Vlad do you feel sad? No shit Sherlock.

'Adele' as she liked him to call him was the most annoying person Vlad had laid eyes on. Her happy enthusiasm was suffocating and made Vlad want to break out his fangs. At least he was free now. Well, at least until next Saturday where he'd be forced to sit in there for another half hour being interrogated. He didn't feel any better… but he certainly felt worse.

Renfield appeared round the corner and Vlad wrinkled his nose, the servant seemed to be more pungent than usual.

"The slayer is waiting for you upstairs."

Vlad had a bad feeling about this visit of Jonno's.

Did the Dracula's know how uncomfortable their furniture was? Jonno wondered as he got up from the painful chair he'd been sat on. He would've moved to sit on the sofa but Ingrid was sat over there turning the pages of her magazine with an expression of absolute boredom. He didn't want to become her entertainment or have any kind of interaction with that bitch.

The damn vampire seemed to read his thoughts, and in a rush of air she was in front of him smirking.

"Hi Jonno." Ingrid was in a bad mood; she certainly wouldn't show it and was currently projecting calm indifference about Vlad. So when she saw Jonno she knew this was a perfect time to annoy her new victim as sitting around and flicking through her magazine was no way for the Princess of Darkness to spend her day. It was rather amusing however when she showed her father the pages about Patrick though, especially when she found him reading Patrick's tips on hair afterwards.

Jonno, apparently expecting her intervention, groaned and turned away. She sped to be directly in front of him again. "Still recovering from Mina's death?" The slayer scowled.

"Back off Ingrid." His voice was weak and defeated. It seemed Mina's death was actually hurting him. If her mother had died she would be celebrating! Not mourning like a miserable human.

"If I were in your position I'd be partying…" She displayed her exquisite white teeth in a devious smile.

"Well you're not in my position." He ground out through gritted teeth, Ingrid laughed softly.

"Even though I'm not, I'm still celebrating." She looked around with a sadistic smile before leaning close to Jonno. "And I'm pretty sure Vlad is too…" She whispered into his ear. Jonno gave her a vicious shove before moving to the other side of the room. Her crystal blue eyes rested on the slayer's back. "No defence? I guess I was right about you slayers and I was right to kill Mina."

As she'd hoped, she hit a nerve. "You had no reason to kill Mum!" Ingrid was impressed by the amount of spittle that flew from the slayer's gritted teeth as he growled.

"I had and still have every reason," She responded following him to his corner of the room. "I am a vampire. We take what we want, and everything we claim is ours. Including your mother's life." She gave a small chuckle. "I'm waiting for Vlad to take yours."

Faster than she'd anticipated the slayer snatched the stake from his belt and tackled her to the floor. She winced at the hot, sweaty breaths beating on her face. Then she thought about the fact the slayer was probably going to try and stake her. She could easily fend him off (she wasn't a Dracula for nothing) but she needed Vlad to find them, and if she could hold on just a little longer for the Chosen One to arrive she'd have the slayer exactly where she wanted him.

She grabbed Jonno's wrist tightly keeping the stake firmly away from her unbeating heart and gave Jonno a smile, then she screamed.

Vlad appeared in record timing and Ingrid let go of Jonno's hand. The stake that had been gripped so very tightly in the slayer's clenched palm flew forwards at the sudden lack of resistance. It buried itself in Ingrid's breast, a mere inch from her heart.

She made an effort to stay conscious despite the pain; she wanted to see the slayer's face.

And boy, it was worth it.

She watched in a state of agony as Vlad snatched Jonno's collar and pulled him up more with force than necessary his eyes crimson with fury and sharp fangs impressively large gleamed behind his pale lips.

She saw his mouth moving but couldn't hear nor make out the words; she only saw the undiluted rage in her brother's expression and knew that she had won.

She fell into the dark void of sleep with a malevolent smile.

Of course she'd won. Ingrid Dracula did not lose.

As his sister lost her fight with pain Vlad slammed Jonno against the wall his hand tight round said slayer's throat.

"Vlad." He ground out. "I…. can't –breathe," Vlad tightened his grip fractionally and felt the bone under his fingers be ready to snap.

"You better talk fast then or you might suffocate before you can explain why you staked my sister!" He snarled not bothering to reign in the darkness screaming for vengeance.

"She s-said things-s-s, 'bout ..mu-" Somehow the choked words escaped Jonno's crushed oesophagus and Vlad slammed the slayer's head against the wall.

"So you thought you might just kill her because of it?" He gave a nasty, bitter laugh. "And you slayers say we're the barbarians?" Jonno started to struggle his face flushing crimson and his brain demanded oxygen he couldn't provide. He felt rather concerned at how Vlad had categorised him as 'you slayers' he wasn't overly offended but he hadn't heard Vlad refer to Guild in that Ingridish manner.

Vlad showed no sign of letting go of his neck so Jonno gave up at snatching at those iron fingers and instead pulled something from his pocket. He'd thought Ingrid would be a bitch when he arrived but he'd been so overcome with rage he'd gone for his stake.

He tightened his oxygen deprived muscles and stabbed the argentalium pen-knife into Vlad's hand with all his might.

The vampire let go of his gullet abruptly and Jonno gasped inhaling lungful's of air trying to restore the lost energy. Vlad growled and wrenched the metal from his hand with a pained grunt. The skin began to repair itself almost immediately.

Jonno suddenly felt very, very angry.

"This is enough!" Vlad looked up at him and Jonno felt a little relived as Vlad seemed to have lost some of that burning rage and his eyes were back to their azure blue. "How do we maintain a treaty if we're trying to kill each other every other second?"

Vlad's cobalt irises stared blankly into his syrupy brown ones and the vampire considered their issue.

After three tense, loaded seconds, Vlad answered. "It's easy," He snarled his eyes regaining that red hue. "We don't."

Vlad turned and lifted up Ingrid. He hoped the slayer would take the intuitive and leave. Ingrid seemed so small and fragile in his arms. He slowly eased the stake from her chest and threw it sideways.

It buried itself in the doorframe giving the slayer a fright. As Vlad passed him a deep menacing growl escaped his throat. The slayer then, turned around and left.

Vlad looked down his sister and took his room and laid her on the sofa in his room.

She looked so innocent when she was sleeping.

Wassuuppppp? I'm in such a great mood today!

So I'm going to ask you this: what do you guys think of the treaty in general? Not just on Fanfiction, do you think it's pants on the show or deserves to actually work?

Why don't you tell me in a nice shiny review?
