Lyanna woke up next to Rhaegar, he was muttering in his sleep. Lyanna found the deadly swordsman cute at most times. She shook him to wake him and then when he started to stir she placed a tiny kiss on his pink lips and then she hopped out of bed. She was as naked as her name day so she went over to the chair and got her light blue, silk robe on to hide her nakedness. There was a small knock on the door, Lyanna went over to the bed to cover Rhaegar.

"Who is it?" Lyanna asked

"It is Ser Jaime" The voice said from behind the door

"I will be out in a moment" Rhaegar shouted, his face half in the feather pillow

"Where are you going?" Lyanna asked Rhaegar as he sat up

"We are sword training" Rhaegar said in a hazy voice

Harla came in the door "M'lady, Ser Jaime is out there" Harla said

"We know, i'm about to go" Rhaegar said and got out of bed

Harla went to the wardrobe that was painted with dragons and picked out a dress for Lyanna. A floaty, thin, purple dress was put on Lyanna's side of the bed. The dress would be perfect to fit her ever-growing body. The gown also had black woven straps to keep it from falling down. Harla helped Lyanna put the dress on, by the time she had it on Rhaegar was fully dressed and left the room. She smiled thinking about her husband. Harla brushed through Lyanna's tangled, dark hair and put it into a simple braid. Lyanna got up and sat at the table, even so early in her pregnancy her feet were starting to hurt her slightly, she knew that she would not be very mobile further on down the line. The cushioned chair was comfortable as she waited to break her fast. Harla brought in some bread and cheese, Lyanna knew that she would be meeting with the king today. Without Rhaegar.

After she had broken her fast and relaxed for a bit a squire knocked on the chamber door. Harla opened the door as the squire asked her to come with him to the king. Lyanna was anxious to talk to him without anyone around. She was brought to the throne room, only the king was in there and a kingsguard. Lyanna approached the throne.

"How are you feeling today?" The mad king asked harshly

"Good, your grace" Lyanna said to the obviously agitated king

"Any problems?" He asked in a equally harsh tone

"My feet are slightly sore but no proper problems"

"If your feet are hurting so early in the pregnancy, that is a sign. You will not survive this pregnancy and if you do you will die in childbirth and leave another child without a mother. I will not have another wailing child without a mother to feed it and look after it. This is my kingdom and I will not have it ruined by you having a child, that may be the heir to my throne. You are a wolf which will make the heir part wolf and taint my bloodline. You and your child will be the downfall of the kingdom and the Targaryen dynasty. I would be better to be rid of you now when my son isnt protecting you" Aerys ranted

When those words fell out of his mouth Lyanna wanted to cry. She knew that this would be her last day and her husband couldn't save her or their child. She knew she couldn't get out of it, the outcome was inequitable. She would die. She had heard about the king burning people he didn't like so she would probably be burnt to death.

"My head was always right about you, you have RUINED him" The king shouted to a frightened Lyanna

Ser Oswell Whent stood beside the king. He looked scared for Lyanna, he looked as though he was going to say something but didn't as he couldn't say anything against his king. The King looked at Lyanna and laughed manically. His long finger nails scratched his head, which was filled with long wispy hair.

"Oswell, beat this girl until she cries" The King said to the kingsguard

Lyanna looked to Oswell, he looked extremely sorry but knew that he had to do it or he would be killed himself. The knight walked over to Lyanna hesitantly. He whispered something that sounded like a 'sorry' before he struck her on her face. She felt the warm blood seep down her cheek. The king laughed from his throne. Oswell looked back at the king, the king nodded and then the knight sent down a full forced punch into Lyanna's arm. Lyanna was sure that it was broken. The pain rippled through her, she felt as if she was going to be sick. Another blow came to her back, she nearly fell over from the sheer force put into the punch. As Oswell was fully armored his gauntlets left indentations in Lyanna's arm which she could see already.

"HARDER" The king shouted at the knight

Oswell looked as if he was going to hurt the king but Lyanna looked at him, hurt in her eyes. She knew that if he didn't do this that he would die and she would anyway. Oswell brought out his sword and hit Lyanna with the metal hilt on the back of her thigh. She didn't want to but she let out a loud cry, tears started streaming from her grey eyes. The pain was too much, she had tried to be strong but without Rhaegar there it failed her.

As the hits continued. Lyanna passed out.

She dreamt of Winterfell. She was in the snow with a wooden sword aimed at her brother Benjen. Their dark hair turned white by the light flurry of snow. She giggled as Benjen ran away, she ran after him.

"I'm gonna get you Ben" Lyanna shouted running with the sword pointed at him

"I'm faster than you" Benjen's voice shouted out from further down the woods

"Don't go too far" And older voice shouted from behind them

Lyanna turned around to see her father. She smiled at him and then he pointed out where Benjen was hiding. She mouthed a 'thank you' and then ran to her little brother. She hit him with the sword. He screamed, he was still screaming. Then her sword turned to steel.

She opened her eyes to get a hard hit to her belly. She screamed, just as Benjen had in her pain induced dream. She screamed and thought of the child in there, her and Rhaegar's child. She saw the mad king laughing as she screamed. She looked at her hands, now covered in blood.

"Enough now, Ser Oswell" The king said and rose from the throne "Pycromancer!" He shouted as a small man clad in brown walked in "Get a cask of wildfire ready"

Lyanna cried, she now knew that this was how she was going to die. She stumbled up from the floor and faced the mad king.

"WHY?" she shouted with all her strength "Why would you do this to your son?"

"They told me to, everyone must burn. EVERYONE! and then I will rise again as a dragon. BUT THEY TOLD ME YOU MUST BURN FIRST, YOU AND YOUR BABY AND IF THAT RISES AGAIN THEN IT IS A TRUE TARGARYEN AND WILL BE WITH ITS FATHER ANYWAY. WE ARE THE DRAGONS, YOU ARE JUST AN OVERGROWN DOG" the Mad King shouted back

"RHAEGAR, RHAEGAR HELP. SOMEBODY SEND HELP!" Lyanna shouted at the top of her lungs

"MY SON CANNOT HELP YOU NOW, YOU WILL BE ABSORBED BY THE FIRE. THE PUREST OF DEATHS!" The Mad King laughed

A knight came in the door, he looked at what was happening. Lyanna saw him but Aerys didnt. She looked at him and mouthed 'find him'. The knight ran out the door. The pycromancer opened the door. Lyanna's heart jumped when she thought it was Rhaegar. She wept as the man brought in a pot. She knew that it was full of wildfire.

She lay on the floor and wept. The tears hurt as the ran through cuts on her face. The face Rhaegar loved so much. She thought of Rhaegar and what her life could have been with him and their children. She pictured a little boy with hair as dark as night and a little girl with beautiful white hair. The boy had grey eyes and the girl had violet. A Stark and a Targaryen. The dragon and the direwolf. Ice and Fire.

"Oswell, chain the dog up" The king said to the loyal kings guard stood beside him

The king handed the knight a rusted chain. Oswell walked over slowly to Lyanna and wrapped the chain around the pillars of the throne room. Lyanna's wrists screamed in agony as the chain was wrapped tightly around them. The metal dug into her already bruised skin. A heavy leather and metal collar was roughly put around her neck. It was so heavy that it dragged her small neck down as soon as Oswell had released it from his grip. The chains were tightened which lifted Lyanna from the ground, her feet dangled fraily in the air. Once the chains were tight enough to hold her and not kill her. The king was satisfied.

Rhaegar was training in the yard with Ser Jaime. Jaime was incredible at fighting, Rhaegar liked Jaime and he knew that they would continue their sparring sessions when Jaime could get away from the king. Rhaegar was surprised when his father let Jaime go with Rhaegar. He had asked nicely yet didn't expect the answer. Out of the corner of his eye he spied a knight that he did not know the name of running. The knight ran up to them, he was noticeably out of breath.

"We told people not to disturb us" Jaime said confidently

"I sorry, my prince, Ser. Its Lady Lyanna"

SORRY! sorry, sorry, sorry. This had to happen. The mad King is well, you know, mad. sorry sorry. I will try and get the next chapter out soon so you are not dying in anticipation
