Ash: Hello everyone! How was your Halloween ^^? I know my updates were slowwwww so sorry… I just got a bit lazy after the exams ended XD.

Today I decided to answer some of the questions in the reviews for this story! I absolutely love questions, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. One thing. I refuse to actually give out the answer. I don't spoil. Spoilers would ruin things XD.

Hinamori Ian: Thank you for all your reviews! The identity of Amu's manipulator will come soon~ But now is not that time XD. It will be revealed eventually but for now do continue guessing! I'm a fan of Tadase bashing… Oops. I shouldn't have said my secret hobby out loud XD.

Kael: Hello Kael-san! You were my first reviewer ever because TSA is my first fanfic so I was really happy! Ooh! You wanna know who the manipulator is too? Well, since you are my first reviewer, I'll tell you!...…. Nope, just joking. Keep guessing Kael-san! ^^

Hinamori Ian: Haha, keep on guessing! Is it Saaya, or is it Utau? Oh, maybe it could be Lulu! Or none. XD.

Guest: Hello Guest-san! Thank you for taking time to review! I like your question. As to whether there will be Kutau…. That would be answered in the next chapter! I love Kutau too though!

I own nothing!

Ages:

Ikuto: 19

Kukai: 17

Amu and Utau: 16

Aruto and Souko: Sorry what? Repeat that again please. You want to get younger? Let me think about that… NO. Halloween just passed, not Christmas :) No presents for you! But Halloween is a time for horror, so how about I make you 10 years older! That would be a real scare right ^^.

Chapter 5 - From a Drizzle to a Storm

Utau's POV

I sat up, clutching tightly on to the sheets as I woke up, perspiration pouring down my face.

Nothing but a dream Utau, nothing but a dream. You're getting yourself worked up. It was nothing but a dream.

Well at least I tried to tell myself that, like it was that easy. I stared down at the clothes I had worn last night, and my shoes that were still on.

Clumsily putting on my clothes, I stumbled down the stairs and into the breakfast hall.

There I spotted my brother calmly sipping a cup of tea. Plastering a smile on my face, I walked over to him and greeted him with a 'good morning'. My morning was far from good though…

He returned the smile, but then frowned as he looked at me.

"Why? Is there something on my face Ikuto? If there is, you better tell me right now," I joked, but he didn't answer.

"Is something wrong Utau?" Ikuto asked worriedly. "You look like something is bothering you."

"No, it's just that I wonder who the Shadow Assassin could be. I really want to know who killed my precious brother." I said casually, while carefully observing his expression, hoping to trigger a reaction.

"Oh, is that so?" Ikuto said calmly, not a shred of emotion showing on his face. "I suggest you don't though."

Standing up, he swiftly glided out of the room, but not before I looked carefully at his face. I saw the dull blankness in his eyes, eyes that mirrored Amu's just last night, and it scared me.

Ikuto's POV

Walking towards my room, I suddenly heard a large commotion somewhere outside. Then, a messenger came running towards me, his eyes wide.

"What is it?" I asked.

"There was another death."

"Who?"

"Princess Lulu de Morcef Yamamoto."

"The princess who was engaged to my brother?"

"Yes. She was in a carriage on her way here but was assassinated. Apparently the assassin left behind a note. It said 'The path of blood left by the Shadow Assassin has not ended yet. It will continue.'

"What?!"

Running through the hallways, I reached the dungeons and grabbed the keys from the guard standing there.

I flung the door open and strode to Amu's cell.

"Answer me. Do you have an accomplice?" I hissed.

I watched as she looked up and saw a tinge of shock flash in her eyes. Then it was gone.

Amu's POV

I shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly, but inside I was panicking.

Could it be her? What the hell is she doing? Did she kill someone? Why the hell would she do that? Does she want to get caught or something?!

Ikuto's eyes narrowed before the said smoothly, "Lulu de Morcef Yamamoto got murdered. I'm sure you know her quite well."

My eyes widened and I stared up at him, shocked.

"Oh my, Amu, did your accomplice not follow your plan? Did he or she decide or doing whatever he or she wanted since you got locked up?" he said smirking coldly at me. "Care to tell me who your accomplice is now?"

I shook my head and turned away from him. He must have realised that the conversation was now over as I heard him stand up, the cell door close with an angry bang, and then the main prison door clang shut soon after.

"Lulu…" I murmured. "Why did another person have to be killed?"

I remember Lulu. She was a sweet girl who was to be Tadase's fiancé. I remember how she used to always run towards me and hug me around the waist, just like how Tadase always did.

"Amu, I wanna be just like you when I grow up!" was what she would always say when she saw me.

"I'm sorry Lulu, I'm not someone you should be like."

"Sorry." I whispered. "I'm sorry Lulu, Utau, Tadase and especially you Ikuto. I'm so very sorry. Forgive me someday."

Tears started to slowly leak out of my eyes, tears of guilt, hurt and frustration, when I heard someone chuckle softly.

"Oh my Amu, who's going to forgive you?"

My head instantly snapped up as I heard that person's hateful voice drift in from the tiny barred window.

"What is it you want?!" I hissed at her, but she merely laughed softly.

"Oh sorry Amu, you must be angry at me for killing Lulu."

"I'm not just angry at you. I hate you!"

"I don't think you should speak to me that way Amu."

"Why do you keep killing those around me? What do you want from me?!"

"You should know why Amu."

"I didn't kill Father! He died of illness!" I said angrily.

"I don't believe that. You must have killed him because you wanted to be the Queen faster!"

"I didn't do anything! Why is it that you of all people believe that I even did anything in the first place?! Why do you even think I did it?! I believed you of all people when Father died! Why do you keep killing those important to me?! Why?!"

"Because it might make you repent for your sins Amu. Besides, it hurts right? When someone you love dies." she snickered.

"I did nothing wrong!" I screamed.

"Shut up Amu. Remember to not tell anyone about me or everyone you love will be killed within a night."

"But your already killing them!"

"Oh I am aren't I? Oh well, let's just say that if you tell someone, I'll kill everyone you love, gruesomely and brutally, and kill some innocent people while I'm at it. How's that? Bye bye Amu… I have to go."

"Wait! Stop!"

But she was gone, as suddenly and quietly as she had come.

"Why? Why does this have to happen?" I whispered, as the tears started flow again, dropping onto the floor one by one. My feelings couldn't stay cooped up within me forever, so I let them flow out as tears, emptying myself of as much as emotions as I could to prepare for the next day where Ikuto would visit me again.

It was important that the emotions didn't stay within me, so that Ikuto would never know and so everyone would be safe.

Ash: There! I'm done! Sorry… another person got killed again… Well, Lulu's not the manipulator of Amu after all…

I hinted a lot on the identity of who the killer is now. I'm sure you can guess^^.

Bye minna! I'll update soon!
