A/N: Not entirely happy with this one, it's more of a filter to add in more fluff before the drama starts. So enjoy!

Alicia

She wasn't sure how they had reached the floor, but somehow, during the long course of their passionate night, they had started off in the bedroom and maneuvered themselves downstairs to the living room floor beside the large fire place, recalling and reminiscing on a particular fond memory that they asserted in this exact place, a decade ago.

Watching him sleep with the suns morning rays surging through the window, she felt a content smile play on her lips and an enormous amount of love pour through her eyes. Covered in a blue quilt, naked beneath with their limbs entangled with each other's, she ran a hand through his spiky hair. They were both laying on their sides, Will's head was supported, rather uncomfortably on his arm whilst she had hers rested on a cushion and their faces just inches from each other's. It wasn't necessarily the most comfortable position to say the least, but the intertwining of their legs and arms seemed to outweigh the hardness of the floors.

How was it even possible to worry about their current positions when the man, she loved for many years, was currently sleeping peacefully before her. Running her fingers along the side of his face, she pushed small bits of his hair back and maneuvered her finger around the shell of his ear. Drawing small patterns on his cheek, she took in the length of his eyelashes, they weren't as long as hers, they were short, the type babies had. Her gaze fell on his nose, he had always disliked it back in high school, regretted the time he had that fight with one of the boys in third form, who fractured his nose which resulted in a trip to the hospital. She loved it though, it made him unique, and it allowed her think as though it were made for her. She instinctively kissed the tip of it and lightly stroked his soft cheek.

Leaning in again, she pressed a soft, gentle kiss against his lips, she was reluctant to wake him but she had been longing for the need to gaze into his chocolate brown eyes since she had awoke an hour ago.

She also wanted him to make love to her again but with their current position, she knew the outcome on their bodies wouldn't ease their bones any less.

The previous night was marvelous; the sensation was thrilling and wonderful on all levels. They didn't have much experience years ago during their first time years ago, but the years of practice seemed to have paid off, and even though the thought of Will with other girls disturbed her, it wasn't worth rationalizing, not when she had the whispers and thrilling moans of the night before trapped in her mind.

"Will" she whispered in his ear, softly. "Wake up"

Mumbling to himself, his insistence on keeping his eyes closed was adorable, and the smile that began to play on the side of his lips suggested that he was taking amusement in the situation and she wasn't going to let him live it down either. "Wake up" she insisted

Mumbling some incoherent word as a response, she gently pushed him onto his back causing it to click in slight pain, she climbed onto him, without straddling him but clashing her toes with his and began to place soft kisses along his chest, up his neck line and smothering his face.

"You are going to be the death of me you know that?" he mumbled, and she smiled in pride.

Propping up to lock eyes with his, his gaze mirrored hers and she felt his hands slip around her waist, smoothing out her bare back. His sleepy, sultry eyes was adorable.

"You're even more beautiful in the mornings" he mumbled causing a gulp of blood to rush to her cheeks, followed by a wide smile and another kiss, her hair shadowed their faces.

"But, I am extremely tired, so I might just be imagining it" he grinned as she slapped him lightly against the chest. "Just kidding"

"I know the perfect way to boost your energy up" she whispered in his ear

"Hmm?" he said, lazily

"Yep, but it involves breakfast first"

"breakfast, I can do that" he hummed agreeably

Helping him stand up she kept the quilt wrapped around her whilst he went in search for clothes. Leading herself around the house and upstairs she picked up their scattered, damp and dirty clothes from the night before and placed them into the washing machine before throwing on one of Will's shirts and blue shorts.

As she walked into the kitchen, his eyes instinctively roamed over her attire and she watched as a smirk molded on his lips. "Trying to seduce the neighbors Leesh?"

Rolling her eyes amusingly, she cupped his cheek, eyes dancing "No, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few of your neighbors have some inquiries about the woman who practically jumped on you under the pouring rain yesterday."

Shaking his head in amusement he pressed his lips against hers. "Well then, it's a good thing I have no neighbors right?"

Eyes widening at his words, she nodded in agreement. "That is a good thing"

Propping herself on the kitchen counter as she watched him prepare breakfast, she laughed along with him as he fed her slices of fruit. She was still unsure as to what they were doing, in this moment, and whether it was reasonably right, but it had taken her by surprise that her feelings weren't shadowed with guilt, even though she was still wearing her engagement ring, it hadn't crossed her mind that she was supposed to be on a flight back to Washington early hours this morning.

No. Guilt or shame wasn't an emotion that was going to interfere in between Will and Alicia at the moment, nothing else felt more right, nobody else was able to comfort her with a smile full of bliss.

As soon as they finished eating, while she was still seated on the counter she pulled him between her legs and wrapped the quilt around him bringing in his warmth. Their entire bodies entwined, with her legs fastened tightly around him and her arms wrapped around his neck whilst he had his wrapped around her waist, he made out with her as if they were a bunch of horny teenagers.

Carefully placing her on the bed, she kept her legs secured tightly around his waist as their tongues entwined, running her hands through his hair as his lips left hers to worship her neck she moaned in bliss. She wanted to stay in bed with him all day-

That desire was quickly altered as she heard the doorbell ring downstairs.

Grumbling to herself as it kept ringing, she stared up at Will whose eyes were full of desire as his lips pressed against every inch of her face. "It's probably nothing" he murmured. By then, she couldn't distance the doorbell from her mind, lightly pushing him forward, she gave him a reassuring smile.

"Whoever it is, it must be pretty important, go and check" watching as he pouted down at her, she giggled before pulling him down for a chaste kiss. "We have all night, be patient" she whispered into his ear.

Laughing as he strolled downstairs, she followed after him and turned the opposite direction towards the laundry room, grabbing her fresh, warm clothes out of the dryer she slipped into her jeans, followed by Will's hoodie and shrugging it over her body, the sound of a woman's voice through the front door captured her attention.

Will

Feeling a content smile play on his lips as he walked towards the front door, he felt his heart flutter in happiness, and his emotions overwhelm with passion.

That all disappeared as he opened the door to his new visitor, the smile immediately slipping off his features.

"Amy.."

"Yes, Hi Will" she smiled hesitantly at him. Instead of inviting her in, he stepped forward and closed the door behind him. Leaning in to press a kiss against her cheek he pulled away, resting his arm against the wall and running his hand through his hair as he stared out into the lake across from him.

He acknowledge the fact that now was probably a reasonable time to say something, anything, but he didn't have a problem in admitting that he was too much of a cowad to dismiss her.

From the corner of his eye he could see Amy's gaze rest on him suspiciously before her eyes landed on Alicia's car, recognition surfacing through her eyes.

"You have company?"

Nodding his head gradually, still avoiding her gaze he shifted awkwardly in his position before taking a deep breath and keeping his eyes rested on the view across from them.

He couldn't place a number on the minutes that passed, but he was absolutely positive that the clock ticking in the kitchen was clicking louder and louder by each second. Amy's next words startled him.

"She's the one isn't she?"

Turning his head towards her, a mix of confusion and surprise settled on his face, he raised a brow.

"The girl…. You've been in love with for your entire life." He had never mentioned anything regarding Alicia as long as he had known Amy, in fact, he never mentioned Alicia to anyone of his friends, it was too much of a personal dilemma and he preferred to keep his most ultimate vulnerabilities hidden but clearly, the woman who he had been sharing a bed with for the last year read through him.

Letting his gaze fall to the ground, he eventually nodded his head gradually as a response before resting it on the ground. "Is she here?" he heard Amy ask, his long pause was her answer.

"Can I meet her?" –shooting his eyes up to her, clearly surprised he firmly shook his head.

"I don't think that's such a great idea Amy" he pleaded

-"I would really like to meet her Will" her eyes were curious.

Sighing in defeat, he was ready to protest once again until he felt the door behind him push open causing him to move out of the way, turning to see a fully dressed Alicia with her sweet scent radiating the area, she stood forward.

"Is this Amy?" she asked sweetly, a sweet grin to her features.

Alicia gestured her hand out "I'm Alicia, I've heard a lot about you."

Watching as Amy gazed up at her –perplexed - she shook her hand and smiled up at her in awe, Will could only assume by the way Amy's eyes distinctively roamed over Alicia's radiating smile that she had already taken to her.

"I've heard a lot about you too."

"Do you wanna come in?" Alicia said, already anticipating as she stepped backwards. Amy's eyes flickered from Will, puzzled before meeting Alicia's amused gaze and nodding her head as she lead the way into the house leaving Will shaking his head in defeat outside.

It was almost unbelievable how fitting they had gotten along. It was so bizarre to see Amy, who wore the demeanor of an arrogant, almost fake, be the total opposite towards Alicia, somehow, the love of his life had managed to sway Amy into having a liking towards her. They hardly talked about Will but instead talked about their occupations, what they did in their spear time, Amy asked many questions about Washington and that she had been considering moving there for her job, and they had continuously laughed and joked of how horrible Will was at handling awkward situations.

He was thankful that Amy hadn't asked about his and Alicia's relationship and if they were official, because he didn't even have an answer. As far as he knew, he had declared all his feelings to Alicia the day before, and she had jumped into his arms a minute later.

Letting the time fly by, the moment finally came when Amy announced that she had to leave. Leaving Alicia in the kitchen as she began to clean the bench, he walked Amy out to her car and kept his eyes on the sun that was slowly setting above the lake.

"She's extraordinary, really." Amy spoke for the first time, a testament that formed a small smile on his lips as he finally made eye contact with her.

"I'm really glad I got to meet her Will."

Nodding his head gradually, he smiled down at her.

"Since I met you in that bar, I immediately recognized that something wasn't quite right with you. You looked sad, dejected, I assumed it had something to do with your occupation, being a lawyer and all, but then it lasted. I couldn't figure it out, I once thought it was depression" she laughed "But then I soon realized it had something to do with a woman, not everyone verves for runs at odd times of the night because they can't stop dreaming about a woman Will"

Sighing once again, he gazed out into the lake and began to picture the last ten years of his life. She was right; in a sort of physic, idealistic way, he probably was suffering through some type illness, heart-break? Longing? Depression? The thought of going through that once again rocked his core.

"Don't let her go" turning to face her once again, he raised his brow questionably and in return he received a sly smile.

"Back to Washington" she added "If you do, I'm afraid she'll never come back." and with that she slipped inside the car, and drove off.

Slipping his hands into his pockets he stared off into the road that followed the dust and gravel, rethinking her words. He couldn't fathom Alicia leaving without an explanation, then again, he knew that what they shared the night before was more than sex, it was making love if not more than that, and that had to count for something right?

As he turned his gaze towards the house he could vaguely see Alicia leaning against the porch, with her arms folded as she looked out to him, a loving smile spread across her features. His breath caught in his throat and his heart nearly leapt out, wearing his jersey that ended just below her bottom with a pair of jeans underneath, she was beautiful, of course he knew that, but in this moment, she stood out the most. It was a sight that switched on bells and reminded him of the past, of high school and the bleachers sets and Sunday afternoons spent with his family, he missed those days, longed for the moment where he would catch his mother smiling at Alicia or his father laughing hysterically at one of her jokes.

"She's nice" Alicia said, as he made his way to her.

"She is."

It didn't take him long to slip his arm around her waist as he gently pulled her against his chest. He could smell the scent of strawberry tea on her lips and as she rested her hand above his heart he suddenly wished that the fabric wasn't as thick. His heart beat was pounding vastly and he knew she could feel it as her gaze fell on her hand and she slowly leant forward, placing a soft kiss above his hard chest.

Time seemed to pause for a few seconds and he felt as though they were the only ones in the world. He pressed his lips against hers and when she ran her hand through his hair, he could feel the softness of her skin against his scalp. His lips moved from hers to her cheek, ear lobe, neckline and shoulder.

"I want you for myself." He whispered.

He means it.

And even though she doesn't reply, she doesn't react or pull away because she knows –he knows- that she's still technically engaged, she kisses him and it's soft and intense and loving and beautiful and he knows it means something, just by the way she squeezes him tight as if anticipating to never let him go.

He knows she feels the same way, and right now, that's all that matters.
