Authors note: Here's another chapter for you, dears. Very short, I know, I'm just in the middle of a big school project. Sigh...

...

Regina never in a million years would've thought this would happen when she first stepped foot inside that big appartment building in the centre of Boston to give a certain blonde a piece of her mind, to make the woman feel as miserable as she was feeling back then.

No, this hadn't even been a possibility in Regina's mind.

"She's not kicking, I think she's finally starting to like me." Emma grinned victoriously and placed another quick peck on Regina's full lips.

The 'oomph' that left Regina's mouth when a foot connected harshly with her liver, wasn't even a second later.

"You have got to be kidding me!" Emma said in exasperation as she dropped her body down on the luxurious white couch. "I jinxed it, didn't I?"

"You can say that." Regina grumbled and placed a hand against the spot her daughter was kicking. The baby didn't have a lot of space anymore being eight months old now, and Regina could easily guess she was starting to get annoyed with not being able to fully move. Tell me about it.

The brunette slowly lowered herself next to the blonde and smirked. "Just do me a favor and maybe not kiss me again until this baby is out of me and therefor unable to destroy any of my vital organs."

"Yeah..." Emma chuckled and leaned closer, placing her hand over Regina's. "I'm sorry, but that won't be an option. You're just too irresistible."

"Stop it, I'm the size of our house."

Emma's eyebrows rose up to her hairline as she questioned her ears. Did Regina really just say 'our'?

But the brunette didn't seem to know she had made a mistake.

Because that's what it was, right? They had just been together a month and no one knew yet.

...

"Henry darling, can you get mommy her boots?" Regina asked the toddler softly and smiled at her son.

"Yes!" He said with a toothy grin and turned around, running towards the foyer to grab his mother's black boots.

"Thank you baby boy." She was truly grateful for how sweet he has been during this last trimester. It was almost as if he knew that he needed to be nice because his sister was almost here.

"Can I have a milkshake too now?"

But of course, he remained a child. Always trying to get his mother to change her mind by using his puppy eyes and his dimples.

She zipped the boots up and pulled the small boy in a hug, kissing his forehead. "Yes, Henry. You can have a milkshake too." She said with a smile and checked her watch before pushing her body up from the couch.

12:15 PM.

They would meet Emma at Granny's in fifteen minutes.

...

"Are you gowing to have a sleepover again tonight, Emma?" The young boy asked out of the blue, slurping at the straw that was in the tall glass filled with strawberry milkshake. The satisfied smile on his cute face was priceless in Emma's mind.

"Uh, would you like me to, Henry?" Emma asked carefully, sneaking a glance at the brunette across the table who was too busy having an internal panic attack.

"Yeah." Henry answered in a tone that sounded like a 'duh'. He was so Regina's kid. "I want to because you awe helping my mommy." He smiled and swung his legs, softly tapping against Emma's knee. "You awe like my daddy."

Regina choked on her own saliva and softly coughed, not knowing how to sooth Henry's curious mind and cut this conversation off, which needed to happen right now.

"Uhm..." Emma grabbed her napkin and wiped the corners of her mouth, just to win some time to overthink what in gods name she was going to say to that curious boy. "Yeah, I kinda am like your dad, with helping your mom and... stuff."

The boy grinned and licked his lips clear of milkshake. "Do you like my mom?"

"Well, I- she's... nice." She took a quick glance up at the woman who was still almost choking.

"No, I mean like like her." Henry said again. "Like my daddy liked my mommy."

"Would you... Would you like it if I liked your mommy just as your daddy used to do?"

Henry furrowed his dark eyebrows, scrunching his nose in the cutest way as he thought about Emma's words. "Yep, I think I would." He said and then chuckled, laying his head against his mother's chest who looked up at Emma with a thankful expression.

That went better than expected.

...

"He's out like a light." Regina smiled as she walked into her bedroom.

Emma looked up from her book- well actually Regina's book but, you know - and grinned. "Yeah, we may have given him a bit too much sugar today. The kid acted as if he was high. "

"Thank you." The brunette said softly, choosing to ignore the joke, and sat down on her side of the bed, her aching back against the soft pillows.

"For what?"

The brunette leaned in and placed a soft kiss on Emma's lips. "I don't know, just thank you. You're so good with him and Henry really likes you too."

Emma felt her cheeks heat up and she quickly tried to cover it with a chuckle. "Yeah, Henry maybe, but this little one still doesn't."

"Oh, I don't know. She didn't kick just yet, did she?"

"Maybe that was because you initiated it."

"Mmm." Regina hummed and grabbed the bottle of lotion from her bedside table. "Perhaps." She squeezed the bottle, white cream spilling into the palm of her hand.

Emma's eyes were staring intently at the hand, following Regina's movements as the brunette lifted up her silk pajama shirt, exposing her smooth stomach.

"Please stop staring dear, I already feel like a whale and it doesn't help when you're watching me like a hawk. I'm just making sure the count of stretchmarks don't add up to a million." Regina said with a sigh as she slowly spread the cream over her stretched flesh.

"Oh come on." Emma huffed and slowly extended a hand towards the round stomach. "You haven't got that many." Her finger ghosted over an almost invisible silver colored line.

"Says the woman with the flawless skin and abs."

"Yeah, I can't argue with the abs-part." Emma grinned and lifted her own shirt to reveal the muscles. "They are pretty amazing."

"Please stop it dear, or I'm going to cry."

"You wouldn't be the first woman to cry over my abs."
