Chapter 23:
The Talk

Two days have passed since Princess Peach's Tea Party and everything was back to normal. Once again, Bowser was up to no good and he has brought the Koopalings along for the ride. As usual, the princess was captured and the Mario Bros set out to rescue her.

As usual, they went against the Koopalings first. They did well against the first three but when it was time to go up against Wendy, that's when Luigi got hesitant. And he wasn't the only one. Wendy was hesitant as well, but she manages to cover it up for both of them. After Mario landed the final jump, he continues on. Luigi send an apologetic look towards her direction before following after his brother.

They fought through the rest of the Koopalings and finally arriving at Bowser's castle. They fought Kamek, Junior, and Bowser before finally rescuing Princess Peach. Once they got back to the castle, she rewards her heroes with a kiss and cake, with Mario getting the kiss of course. Luigi didn't stick around to get his reward which would have been most of the cake. He had to met up with Wendy who he was sure would be mad at him.

And she was.

"Please Wendy; I said I was sorry,"

The pink koopa scoffed and turn her head away from him. Luigi sighed; he had spent almost an entire hour apologizing to her but he has yet to be forgiven. He tries pleading with her again.

"Wendy, please; what do I have to say so that you can forgive me?"

Wendy glared at him. "You can say you're sorry all you want, but unless you can show me that I matter more than that pretty pink princess then I'm not going to forgive you at all."

He frowned. She's mad at him because she thinks he cared more about Princess Peach's wellbeing than hers, which is completely untrue. He did want to stay with her to ensure her safety but he didn't want to risk exposing their relationship until they wanted to; Princess Peach has nothing to do with this.

Luigi cast his gaze down in thought, trying to come up with something that would show she means more to him than she thinks. He beamed when an idea came to mind and sat closer to her to make his move.

Wendy narrows her eyes in suspicion, wondering what the green plumber was playing at. She opened her mouth to question him but was cut off when the distance between them was suddenly close. Her eyes widen from surprise before she closes them and started kissing back.

The kiss they shared was very passionate, even more passionate than the night they first hook up. When they parted, they both were out of breath and looked into each other's eyes.

"Would I have kissed you like that if cared more about Peach?"

Wendy flushed, but shook her head.

"Exactly; Peach is just a friend but you are my girlfriend. I will never put her in front of you. What kind of boyfriend will I be if I did that?"

"I guess you're right," Wendy said. "Okay, you're forgiven."

Luigi smiles victoriously. Wendy enjoys kissing. He mentally bang his head on why he hadn't thought of it sooner. He sat next to her and pulls her close, enjoying her presence near him.

Wendy smiled to herself. The green plumber will do anything to keep her satisfy. She could only imagine why that flower princess would ever break up him if he had care about nothing else but her happiness - which reminds her...

"You would never kiss your ex like that, right?" she asked out of the blue.

"What?" Luigi turn to her and shook his head. "No, of course not; what brought her up all of a sudden?"

Wendy shrugged. "Just a thought, really; I just wanted to make sure."

Luigi frowned, wondering what had made her thought about Daisy so suddenly. He thought of a few reasons in his head and chuckled. His small laugh did not go unnoticed to the Koopa beside him. With a raised eyebrow, Wendy turned to the plumber next to her and looked at him questionably.

"What's so funny?"

Luigi smile to her. "Are you jealous?"

"Wha…" Wendy was taken aback by the question. She quickly recovers and scowls the man in green. "I was not jealous!"

"That's not what I said; I asked if you are jealous?"

She puffed. "No, I am not jealous. And I can never be jealous of that Sarasaland princess."

"I never said her name." Wendy froze in place, giving Luigi the answer he need. He laughed.

"Aww, my little Orabelle is jealous."

Wendy glared at him. "No, I am not!"

"Yes you are,"

"Am not!"

"Are too."

"Am not!"

"A jealous partner is a faithful partner~" he sang.

Wendy groaned. The plumber had just repeated the actual same words she told him when she was giving him jealousy lessons. She growled and shook her head in annoyance.

"I am not jealous, Luigi. And you better drop it right now or else."

"Oh?" Luigi cross his arms and looked at her with a glimmer of mischievous in his eyes. "Or else what?"

Wendy blinked in surprise. She never saw this side of the plumber before. Awkward and polite – those were the words that usually describe the plumber. Mischievous and rebellious – those were two attractive traits she hopes to bring out of him more often. She huffed and smiled to the challenge.

"Or else…" she repeated. "Or else I'll do this,"

She jumped and tackled the green plumber to the ground. Luigi yelp at the suspected attack and rolled several times. Once he stopped, Wendy sat on top of him and pinned him down, preventing him from escaping. Luigi started blushing for two main reasons; one – he was embarrassed for being taken down so easily, and two – the position they were in looks and feels very...intimate.

He swallowed hard and struggled to free himself. Unfortunately for him, the pink koopa had a very firm grip on his arms. She smirked which cause him to grow nervous.

"W-W-Wendy," He started, but she just shook her head.

"Nope, you asked for it."

Before he could do or say anything, Wendy lean forward and capture his lips with hers. Luigi let out a surprise muffled sound which gave Wendy full access to inside his mouth. Luigi was overwhelmed at first, but the exotic kiss was both pleasurable and inviting. He closes his eyes and forces his body to relax as he joins in on the kiss.

For the most part, Wendy played dominate. The plumber had a faint sweet taste in his mouth, like the pancakes she had a while back. She would have investigated it further if the sudden ache in her lungs didn't remind her of the lack of carbon dioxide.

They parted with a quick gasp. Both of their faces were tilted with a red blush as they breathe in some much needed air. Wendy was the first to recover. She looked down at the plumber with smug grin.

"That shut you up now didn't it?" She pants slightly.

Luigi smiled sheepishly and turn his head away, nodding to answer her question. Wendy smiled; it's not every day she wins something over the green hero. She would have done it again if she didn't remember something important they had to discuss about. She sighed and sat up from her seat on the plumber, releasing her hold on him.

"Luigi, we need to talk."

She could actually feel the plumber froze underneath her. Those were the four little words no man wants to hear from his woman, especially after they just did some serious make out session. A millions thoughts flew pass Luigi's mind. Did he do something wrong? Did she want to break up with him? He already broke up with one princess girlfriend and that was hard as it is. And another one will surely devastate him.

"It about my family," she continues.

"Oh," Luigi sighed in relief. He had immediately assumed the worse.

"Oh?" Wendy said offensively, mistaking his sigh of relief for something else.

"N-No, I didn't mean it like that." He said. "I was worried… that you wanted to talk about breaking up with me."

Wendy calm down at his words. "I wouldn't do that…At least, I don't want to. My father, on the other hand, is another story."

Luigi tilt his head slightly. "You mean Bowser?"

She nodded. "Yup; as you already know, I'm a high ranking member of the Koopa Klan and with such high status, I have to some responsibilities to fulfill to the Koopa Kingdom."

Luigi nodded. Legally or not, he still considers Wendy as a princess. He just couldn't believe that he was actually dating her, even if she was sitting on top of him. He always thought that Daisy was the only princess he was going to date in his life but Wendy manages to prove him wrong.

"Well," She resumed, regaining Luigi's attention. "Some of those responsibilities have a tendency to effect on my personal life... which also includes me finding a suitable mate."

Luigi blush slightly.

"What I'm trying to say is... if my dad doesn't approve of us being together than I'll have no choice but to break us off."

Luigi frowned. This didn't go unnoticed to Wendy who frowned as well. "I'm sorry; I didn't mean to upset you."

Luigi shook his head. "No, it's fine. It was suspected. I knew I would never get Bowser's approval from the beginning."

"But you could still try, right?"

He shrugged. "I could but Bowser is pretty stubborn."

"Oh yeah, you're right." She sighed.

The couple stayed in silence. Both of them were sadden with the upcoming predicament in their relationship. The green plumber sighed. There has to be to some way for him to get Bowser's approval. Wendy turned her attention to the ground when her wand was sitting away from them, just waiting to be used.

"Hmm," She thought about it as she stares at her wand. An idea was slowly working its way to her mind,

"Luigi might never get King Dad's approval..." She smirked. "But I bet Kasanova will."

Luigi looked at her confusedly. "What do you mean?"

"Think about," She stood up off him and walked over to grab her wand. "Besides being the enemy, King Dad won't let me date you because you're human. But that can be fixed with just a flick of my wand." She smiled. "It'll be just like the time at the nightclub. I'll transform you into a koopa again and you'll pretend to be a koopa named Kasanova in front of King Dad and everyone else."

Luigi sat up off the ground and place a hand on his chin in thought. "Hmm, that might work. But how do you know Bowser will fall for it?"

Wendy smirked. "Trust me; he'll fall for it alright."

"Ok, I'll give you that one." Luigi replies "But how do you know everyone else will be fooled?"

She thought about it. "We won't, but if you were to really act like you're Kasanova Koopa, like I was able to act like Lady Fettuccine the other day then we could still be able to pull it off."

"I don't know,"

Luigi wasn't too certain about this plan. Sure, Bowser wasn't the sharpest tool in the toolbox but there were others like Kamek that might be able to see pass it.

"Well, look at it this way," She argues "the sooner you get the King Dad's approval, the more likely he won't bother us when we want to alone."

He thought about it and nods in agreement. "That does sound nice...Okay we'll give it a try."

Wendy cheered. "Great! I'll tell daddy so we could set up the date. That should give us enough time to prepare." She walked over and kissed him on the cheek. "See you later, 'K?"

Luigi nodded. Wendy headed back home, her thoughts on the upcoming dinner night. Once she was gone, Luigi lay back on the ground, his thoughts on the future dinner meeting as well. He was worried that things might not go as plan. But if he needed Bowser's approval to date Wendy, then the least he could do is try his best.

After lying on the ground for a while longer, he stood up and headed back home. As he walked, he started thinking about how the day would have gone without any interruptions. Needless to say, he blushed at the thought alone.

Ending Note:

Looks like Wendy's bringing out the other side of Luigi, or what I like to call the Mr. L side of him.

I'm also going to try to little humor in this story, mainly on Luigi.
